She has the eyes of a Williams but the other features is definitely of the Mikasa!
Ethan, Shawn and Ysabelle instantly glanced at the doorway as soon as they heard it opened. However, Shawn’s eyes instantly landed on the little girl who was holding Rio’s hand. She got blue eyes like Master Omni and Ethan but her face is a bit familiar.
Shawn was trying to wreck his brain thinking where he possibly saw someone who looks like the little kid, but he failed to remember Aisha’s face.
Ethan was surprised as well when he saw a middle age man and an old man came in together. And a child was in between them. His eyes wide-ned in disbelief. He was puzzled as to why Demetrius is in Estrella City. And why is he with Mira? Did he possibly knew already? Then he stared at his grandpa. Ah, this old man really!
Shawn was so startled that he has to blink his eyes more than thrice when he suddenly recalled Aisha after a couple of minutes. Yes! It was Aisha’s features except the eyes!
He then glanced at Ethan who was trying to maintain a calm composure, but bewilderment was also painted all over his face. Shawn wanted to ask the man beside him but the tension between him and Rio was very evident.
“Daddy!” The little girl ran towards Ethan and hug-ged him. But her embrace was not the same as before. It was rather warm! Something is different from his little princess right now but he couldn’t figure out what it is as of the moment.
Ethan smiled at the little girl after he stoop down to receive the girl in his arms.
” Daddy, you know what? Grandpa Omni accompanied me to the mall earlier and we played a lot!” Her eyes were glimmering. ” I saw snow white and cinderella too!”
” Ehm… looks like you had some fun this day… that’s good then.” He caressed her hair.
” Yes dad, I did! Thanks to my two grandpa’s!” Then the little kid stared at Rio and smiled her widest.
“Daddy?” Shawn blurted in confusion as he watch the two having a sweet conversation. He only knew Eli as his son but who is this cute little girl? Did he impregnated a woman here a long time ago? He is full of question. If Aisha is alive then he might think of her as Aisha and Ethan’s daughter. But that is too impossible to imagine! Shawn thought.
“Ethan…” Rio came forward. “Can we talk?” He asked rigidly.
“I am about to ask you as well.” He for-ce a smile then glanced at Shawn. “Please join us too.”
“O-oh… Okay.” Shawn replied confused.
“My study room is at the left corner. I’ll join you after a minute or two.” Ethan uttered.
Master Omni, Rio and Shawn started out to the study room while Ethan stayed.
“Stay with nanny Ysabelle for now since daddy needs to talk to them first, okay?”
“Not a problem daddy!” She was smiling wide then went to hold Ysabelle’s hand. “Go on daddy.”
“Thank you sweetheart.” He ki-ssed her forehead then followed the others.
As soon as he entered the study room, he met Rio’s piercing gaze. Despites that, he went to sit opposite them..
There was silence for a couple of minutes. Seems like no one is ready to speak yet. That moment, Shawn was itching to throw a joke but he could sense a different atmosphere. Ah, so eerie! What’s with them all of a sudden? He thought.
Ethan must admit that he doesn’t even know how and where to start. And looks like Rio noticed his dilemma.
“Ethan, what’s happening?” Rio started. “Please, tell me everything!”
“Mr. Mikasa…” he suddenly stood up and kowtowed apologetically. ”I’m sorry that I didn’t inform you about your daughter as soon as I discovered that she’s alive.” Ethan replied but Shawn grasped his breath as soon as he heard about the woman who was supposed to be dead three years ago. Wait, she’s alive? So that means… the little girl…
“I couldn’t tell you because she lost all her memories. She have forgotten everything, that’s why I thought I could give a little help and gain her trust first before telling about her true identity.” Ethan explained not looking at Rio’s eyes.
“And that little kid…?”
“She was the baby in Aisha’s w-omb 3 years ago. She miraculously survived the fall and the raging sea as well.” Ethan confirmed.
Rio teared up. He couldn’t believe that his beloved daughter was alive all these years. How did he end up losing hope three years ago? Why did he gave up easily? Why?!
Rio covered his face with his palms as tears flowed from his eyes freely. His heart is being shred in pieces as he recalls Aisha’s childhood until she grew up to be a beautiful and strong woman. But moreover, he is mourning for giving up on her daughter three years ago!
How could he do that? What kind of a father is he? How will he face the woman now? As a father who saw the little kid grew up into such a fine woman, he shouldn’t have given up his hope easily! When they didn’t find her body, he should have at least used all of his power to search for her, by hook or by crook. Ah! He is so foolish!
His bitter sobbing echoed at Ethan’s study room and the three men could feel the grief within his tears. And they too teared up. This is such a big blow!
But he is only a human.
Three years ago, when he received the news about Aisha that had fell on the cliff and drowned into the de-ep sea, he had already lose his faith. With that height, no one will be able to survive that. But he had just heard that Aisha and the baby survived, so how will he face his daughter now?
He has been pouring out his heart for a few minutes now. And with a breaking voice, he asked, ” H-how did she live her life all these years?”
Ethan lowered his head as well as Master Omni since Ethan told him about what Clement had said.
“I…I…” Ethan averted his eyes. “It’s totally heartbreaking and I think this is not the best time to talk about it.” Sadness shadowed his eyes.
“Ethan…please…” The man beseeched him. “I need to know it.”
“But Mr. Mikasa….” Ethan was about to say something but Master Omni tapped his shoulder and stared into his eyes.
Ethan knew what the old man wanted to say, therefore he sighed. Looks like it can’t be help. But it will definitely shatters his heart, that’s for sure…
Ethan started to relay the story he heard from Clement. And after that, he also notified him about the loansharks who attacked them at their apartment. Then lastly, he told him what mr. And mrs kersey had said earlier.
Rio, Master Omni and Shawn had been in de-ep thought for a few minutes but no one was talking among them. They were trying to figure out what part of the story was seemingly fishy. Cause there is, definitely!
Something isn’t just right.
” The loan shark… are they the reason why you had reinfor-ced the clas-sC members?” It was Master Omni who asked.
” Yes, you’re right grandpa. And I must say sorry for not informing you early. Moreover, the loan sharks are not easy to deal with.”
” What do you mean?” Shawn added.
” Aisha is definitely in danger, especially knowing that it was Zoren Zalasar of the Golden Tree company. My friend had already look into this so there’s no doubt. But aside from the golden tree, he also have some more businesses and Jc is still on searching for more.”
” What did you say? Zoren Zalasar!” Rio yelped. If he was thinking of the same man in the past then Aisha is definitely in danger right now!
They had some more conversation for thirty more minutes before they decided to get out from the study room. It’s time to check on Aisha. Might as well continue later as soon as everyone’s already sleeping.
They have reach the living room and was about to climb the stairs but they halted!
A woman in white was standing at the top, looking at them in question. Those faces were absolutely new!
” Ethan?” She was smiling as soon as she reached them. She was not staring at the other gals beside Ethan, only him.
” Alex…?” Ethan’s voiced was rather in question not a statement.
” Ethan, I’ve been looking for you everywhere!” She yelped calmly.
Meanwhile, Rio who was watching them was flabbergasted. He couldn’t believe his eyes but the woman in front of him is surely his daughter Aisha! There’s no doubt! But he also felt a stirring pain in his heart. He wanted to embrace her tight but he couldn’t. Ah, he wanted to cry again! He was trying to control his eyes. His Aisha… it’s definitely her. More importantly, she’s alive!

She woke up feeeling brand new. She can’t explain it but she seems to be a lightweight feather floating in the air. It’s very nice in the heart.
The calmness, the peace… ah, how she loves to have it all throu-ghout her life.
Alex inhaled an amount of air when she sat on the bed. Then she exhaled and smiled after.
After a few seconds, she felt her stomach growls. Didn’t she eat the whole day? Did she slept the entire day?but why?
The thing is, she couldn’t remember anything about this day.
She looked around her. This isn’t her room. But wait! She has been here before. It’s Ethan’s room! What is she doing here?
Wait.. she was thinking de-eply. The last thing she remembers was… Clement’s proposal, her rejection, Ethan got drunk, her encounter with that bitc-h manager, and… sleeping beside the man. Didn’t she wake up?hmmmm…
Ah anyway, she’s feeling good right now. Might as well ask Ethan what happen later. For now, she needs to go back home. For sure Mira has been waiting for her. Therefore, she stood up and fixed her hair before going outside the room.
She was at the staircase when she heard men talking with each other. Looks like Ethan has some visitors. As soon as she got a glimpse of them, she started to walk down the stair. She could sense the penetrating gaze of those men on her. But not the kind of awful gaze, though she couldn’t und-erstand that.
She was smiling at them. Those men downstairs, they seems all familiar but she couldn’t remember where they have seen them. Ah, anyway, she only needs to talk to Ethan though.
“I’m not sure what happened but I need to go back home. My daughter is waiting for me.”
Ethan creased his brow. The woman is somewhat acting strange. Why is she going home?! It’s too dangerous!
” Alex… Unfortunately, you can’t go home. It’s too dangerous.” Ethan said thinking that Alex just simply wanted to go home.
The woman raised her brow in question. ” Too dangerous? Did something happened in there while I was sleeping? How’s my daughter?” She worriedly asked.
Ethan is in de-ep bewilderment. Wait, she seemingly doesn’t recall what had transpired a while ago! What is happening?
” Alex… don’t you remember anything about what had happen today?”
” did something happen today?” She followed up.
Ethan went silent for a few minutes then stared at the three men beside him who were surprised as well.
” Did something happen to Mira?” The woman continued to probed. ” I have to go!” She was about to rush to the door but Ethan got her arm. She spun around confused.
” Alex… You don’t have to go back to your apartment anymore. Mira and Ysabelle is safe. They are both here.”
” Why can’t we go back? This isn’t our house!” She yelped confused..
”Mommy?” A tiny little voice called out from behind when Ethan was about to say something.
” Sweetheart!” She hug-ged Mira who rushed to her side.
” Mommy, you’re awake!” She was beaming wide.
” Yes, baby… sorry that mommy slept for too long, now we can go back to our apartment.” She stood up holding the little girl’s hand.
Mira’s face suddenly turned sour. She was not even responding to her mom. Alex caught the sudden change in her mood so she glanced at her.
” Mira, what’s wrong?”
” Mommy, I don’t want to go back to that house anymore!” She suddenly quivered in fear. Tears were about to fall.
Alex was stunned to hear her daughter’s response. But why? She has a confused face.
” But baby!”
” No! I don’t want to go back to that apartment again! I want to stay with my grandpa and daddy to..” she wiggled her hand and run towards Master Omni and Rio. Fear was visible in her eyes. Did something really happened while she was sleeping? She couldn’t und-erstand a thing!
