“I didn’t ask for your help, Mind your business” She replied almost leaving.
“Ouch… That really hurts” Ryan said turning back to her.
ru-by turned back to him, frowned and left.
Ashley was busy eating when she noticed Ryan standing up.
“What are you doing over there, Ryan.. Hurry! Before I finish the food here” Ashley shouted as he ran to her.
Martha who was still looking sighed sadly.
“She is really the lady of 3 years ago, Like I really knew she looked familiar…. I hope that man I saw in the picture isn’t really her father because if she knew what she caused to him, She would probably kill herself” Martha thought as she sipped more jui-ce.

Everyone was busy having fun in cl@$$, No teacher was in yet. Boyfriends and Girlfriends gisted, Some gossiped,The guys pla-yed with a small ball, Ashley kept looking at Ryan who smiled all day, Barbara was putting her make up on while Martha was busy re-ading.
The door flunged opened and ru-by c@m£ in with her book.
“All stand” Martha’s tiny voice said.
They all stood up.
“Bow”
They all did so.
“Sit”
They obeyed.
“Here you go again, Our Examinations is around the corner you know that right? and you guys are doing whatever you like, But our sweet Martha is doing just great” ru-by said as she walked slowly in the cl@$$.
“Come on Sém, This is our last grades…Let’s just have fun before we leave!” Barbara said as she ru-bbe-d herl-ips together to make thel-ipstick move in every inch of herl-ip.
“Do that later, Maybe when you get a job”
“Sémmmm! When we get a job later in the future…We won’t have fun anymore, Then we will face just work and family too” Barbara said childishly.
“Take a look at your self, nau-ghty girl” ru-by laughed.
“Sém, Don’t you want to have a family of your own?” Ashley asked smiling. Ryan looked at Ashley sharply and turned to ru-by gaze.
“I mean you just get married…You are 20+ plus right?” Ashley asked.
“Oh… Marriage? I’m still waiting for the right man” ru-by chuckled.
“Whoaaaaaa!” The cl@$$ cheered.
“Wait….Does that mean you aren’t dating yet?” Ashely asked.
“Huh? Not yet..”
“Uhmmm-Uhmm” Ryan scratched his throat loudly as the others stared at him.
“What’s up?” Peter asked.
“Huh? What?” Ryan asked back.
“That Uhmm… Uhhmm?”
“Dude…. Mind your business”
The cl@$$ roared in laughter.
“What?Sém….You aren’t dating? Why?” Barbara asked standing up.
“It doesn’t matter, Or are you dating yet?”
“Me?” Barbara asked
“Yh… You! Who else?” ru-by chuckled.
Martha turned to steal a stare at Barbara
“Huh? Not yet either” Barbara said with a pretense cough. She sat down immediately.
“Okay guys… Actually, I don’t want to date or get married… Hey!! Ssshhs! Don’t ask me why… So in short, I don’t want to fall in love, Well…. Enough with the chit chat and let’s learn…. Open your mathematics text book to page 145”
“Maths again? Urghhh…” The cl@$$ said sadly.
“Enough… Yes, Come and dust the board plea-se” ru-by said.
Ryan stood up to clean the board but ru-by said;
“No Ryan… Marco, Come over here… Dust the board”
Ryan looked at her sadly and sat down. She was trying to avoid him.
Marco went over to the board and started the work.
Ryan opened his book and saw a letter, It looked beautiful and anyone could know it was a love letter.
He sighed.
“Who could this be?” He thought raising it to his face. He opened it to re-ad the letter but someone gr@bb£d it.
It was Peter, nau-ghty Peter.
“Hey… Bad boy Ryan got a love letter! I guess it from this cl@$$” Peter yelled.
“Come on Peter, Hello!! We are supposed to learning not…
“Sorry Sém… But let me re-ad it… It won’t take any of your time, I promise….Or aren’t you curious?” Peter interrupted.
“What? Cu… Curious?…Why would I be?” ru-by asked surprised
Peter laughed and faced the cl@$$.
“So guys… Should I re-ad this aloud?” Peter asked aloud.
“YES! re-ad IT! re-ad IT!!” The whole cl@$$ chorused at the top of their voices.
ru-by closed her ears with her hands due to the loud voice but opened it later when it died down.
Ryan was quite embarr@$$ed and faced down.
“Alright…. Here goes nothing…………….Huh?” Peter asked.
“What’s it??” Barbara asked moving to Peter.
She gr@bb£d the letter immediately.
“What the????”
“Don’t keep us curious! What is it?” Ashley yelled.
“Ehmmm… Alright, It simply says : She isn’t the one for you, She killed your future? Uhhhhhhh? Oh my God… And it continues like this: I love you Ryan, Be mine?”
“What the heck?” Everyone shouted and started whispering to each other.
“It could be a prank! Just get to your seat alre-ady” ru-by said.
They both obeyed. Ryan wasn’t satisfied and was quite uncomfortable.
He took the letter and went to the front of the cl@$$
“Who was it?!!!” He yelled.
“Ryan? It’s enough!” ru-by shouted.
“I shouldn’t catch you or else you are done for…. But Ashley, You know I’m suspecting you!” Ryan said.
“Me? It’s not me… Okay?!” Ashley yelled angrily
“I SAID IT’S ENOUGH! GET TO YOUR SEAT…. LESSONS STARTS NOW!” ru-by yelled hitting her palm on the table which made a loud noise.

There wasn’t extra lessons for that day so the pupils went quite early other than those day they would leave during night fall. This time around, The sun was still shining and it was quite intense.
Peter and Ryan gisted on the way home. ru-by was at the front walking without Beckey. She had hurried to pick up Mira from school.
“Are you sure 2.5 is the answer to number 8 question?” Ryan asked
“Yeah… I’m sure, 100%” Peter replied
“Nah… I’m not sure, Mine c@m£ out 1.5” Ryan said.
They both argued about this but luckily they had seen ru-by in front of them.
“Why don’t you ask Sém? Who ever gets it right pays the other 5 bucks” Peter said
“Deal… Get re-ady to lose” Ryan chuckled.
“Sém?! Sèm?!” He called.
ru-by faced front and saw him running towards her.
“Hold on” He shouted.
Peter was very quic-k in seeing a big stone on the floor.
“Hey! Careful with your speed…. There is a stone….
But it was too late, Peter stopped talking when Ryan had hit his leg on the stone. He lost balance and was running toward ls ru-by like a charged bull.
“Oh my…” Peter thought
“Catch me Sém….Dont’t let me fall” Ryan shouted running fast.
ru-by sm-irked her face. Her face was written boldly;😒⚠️
“Nah..fu-ck you b**ch,This is the wrong number!”
She left the road for Ryan and he fell down ha-rd with a loud thud.
“Geez! Sém… You could have caught me” Ryan said embarr@$$ed dusting himself up.
ru-by scoffed.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Lift me up first” Ryan said stretching his hand towards her.
“Then I think I should just leave” ru-by asked as she began walking again.
“Okay… Wait” Ryan said as he stood up. He faced her and asked her the question.
ru-by scoffed.
“Both are wrong! The answer is 0 as in Zero!” She answered.
“Oh… What a waste… But Sém, You could have caught me you know” Ryan said.
“Why would I? plea-se, If such thing could happen to me, Just ignore me and let me fall… Okay?” ru-by said and finally walked away.
Ryan looked on and frowned childishly.

ru-by got home and opened the door.
“My Gosh!! You scared me!” She shouted seeing Mira’s face.
Both Mira and Beckey were puzzled.
“Oh… I’m sorry, Someone just popped into my memory and I…. You know what? Never mind, Forget it” ru-by said rushing to her room.
“What’s wrong with Aunt ru-by… Does she hates me” Mira asked asked sadly.
“Don’t say something like that,Okay?… She is just tired…If she gets a little rest… Then she would be five” Beckey smiled though she was quite worried.

Ryan got home and couldn’t stop thinking about the letter. He opened his bag and took it out.
He re-ad it again and again.
“Whose hand writing is this? I can’t recognize it? But seriously, What does this person mean by she destroyed my future?” Endless thoughts ran throu-gh his head.
****(THE NEXT DAY IN SCHOOL)****
Mr Tyson had called an urgent @$$embly between the pupils and teachers.
He stood on the podium and the pupils stayed in their grade line with their cl@$$ teacher in front.
ru-by was there in front like every other teacher while Ryan was also in front of the boys line. Though he was tall, He made his way to stay in front. He kept staring at ru-by all day long. He couldn’t resist her charms. She was too beautiful. He kept smiling as he watched her. Martha looked at this and sighed heavily and sadly.
She bit herl-ips ha-rd. Mr Tyson talked about the upcoming prom night that would hold on Saturday. All the students were happy and shouted for joy.
“Choose your date and enjoy the prom” Mr Tyson finally said and asked them to go to their respective cl@$$es.
It was finally the turn of ru-by’s cl@$$ to go in, I mean the males/boys.
As she tried excusing them,She lost balance due to a sli-ppery place she mistakenly stepped on.
Ryan watched her with open eyes as she struggled to lift her self up by flapping her hands.
He tried to help her but remembered what ru-by said;
“Just ignore me and let me fall”
Damn! Karma is a bit-ch?!
She looked at Ryan as everywhere slow motioned.
Both of them stared at each other with their eyes wi-de open confused of the next step of action to take.
Others watched them and wanted to know the next line of the drama.
Just suddenly, as the clock seem to tick slowly and it seemed time had even stop, They both “simultaneously!” gr@bb£d each other. They just didn’t know they were going to do it, She just didn’t want to fall and Ryan would really hate it if she did.
Ryan gr@bb£d her w@!st while ru-by gr@bb£d his n£¢k round.
They both stared into each other’s eyes as the others looked on amazed.
