Her tears continue dropping as she held her ch-est.
“No, it h.. urt she cried loudly sitting on the floor.
The door flung opened and Jamal walked in.
His eyes caught her and he was surprised to see Xiomara that way.
He wanted to ignore her first but changed his mind.
He walked to her and squat in front her as she cried bitterly. She look up at him, her eyes red as fu-ck.
” Hey he called silently but she continue weeping.
“Wha…. He wasn’t able to finish his statement before she hug-ged him.
His mouth dropped opened as he blink his eyes in surprise. Someone who wouldn’t even allow him touch her.
” Mara….. He tried calling but she held him more, weeping on his shoulder.
“Please, let me stay this way for a while she cried and close her eyes on his shoulder.
” It’s okay to cry, let it out he muttered and started rubb-ing her hair.
She started calming down as her cries died down

Vince walked out of the clas-sand let out a sigh.
He felt a little bit guilty but that was the truth, he can’t keep her hope high knowing de-eply it not possible.
Not even when he’s married.
He has started falling for Rosie gradually and he won’t deny it.
She’s so sweet and amazing.
“You did the right thing he a-ssured himself and jogged to the field.
His phone beep and he checked. It’s from Rosie.
*PICK MY CALLS VINCE.
He read and that was when he realized she has been calling, 8 missed calls. He didn’t even notice, maybe when he was sleeping.
He clic-ked on her number to call her back but he hung up again.
“I’ll just talk to her when i get home he muttered and put his phone in his pocket, he walked de-eply into the field and jogged into the basket ball court directly.

” I got you this”Reece said and brou-ght out a pink ribbon from his pocket.
He has been walking around with Olivia, chatting and having fun.
“Wow she beam and tried collecting it from him but he moved back.
” Get it if you can he said and raise his hand.
Olivia pouted cutely and stood on her toe trying to get it but she couldn’t, he was much more taller than her.
Reece eyes caught her li-ps as she struggled to get the ribbon and placed a peck on it.
Olivia smile and look away nervously.
“I’ll put it on for you he said and she nodded, Reece tied it on her hair and it fitted her perfectly.
” Pink looks good on you he wink and she smile.
“Really? She asked and brou-ght out a mirror from her bag to check.
” So you go around with mirrors Reece chuckle and she laugh.
“Yeah, pretty girls go around with mirror she said and flaunt her hair stylishly.
Reece laugh at her cuteness as she checked herself in the small mirror.
” Olivia he suddenly called and she face him.
“Hummm
” Will you be my girlfriend?? He asked and her eyes wide-ned.
“Please dont say no, i l……
” Yes, i will she cut him off happily and he smile.
Finally..
“I love you Reece said and pulled her into a ki-ss before she could reply and she reciprocated immediately…

” That was epic Reece breath out heavily . They just finished sport.
He took his bag and Vince also did.
“Wit a minute, where’s Mara?? Reece suddenly asked.
They both look around.
” Maybe she left Vince shrugged and walked towards the door.
He actually saw her leaving Jamal when they were leaving the field.
“Seriously?? Why would she left without us, did you guys fight or what?
” Of course not, we’re cool. Maybe she’s in a hurry Vince replied.
“But still he paused and touched his fore head.
” So annoying he added and they walked out of the cla-ss.
“Let’s go to the bar and have some fun Reece said.
” Right…

**XIOMARA HOUSE**
“Are you sure you’re fine?? Orlando asked Xiomara for the uptemth time.
She has been playing with her spoon the whole time looking sad and dull.
Silence stepped in, she didnt say anything and Orlando continued eating.
” Vince loves Rosie she suddenly said and he face her.
“How did you know??
” He said it to my face… She replied and sniffed.
“Ohh, then you have to let go of your feelings.. Orlando said.
” Easier said than done, you think it’s going to be easy.. She said.
Orlando sigh.
“I know it’s not but you should try, okay?? Try staying away from him to get over him and probably give Jamal a chance he said and continue eating.
” I’ll try”she muttered and he nodded.
***ROSIE VINCE MANSION***
“Pick my calls Rosie said crazily to herself as she dialled Vince number for the fifth time.
Why is he not picking her calls?
Is he still angry?
He is suppose to be home by now.
Where the hell was he??
Rosie dropped her phone on the bed tiredly and walked into the sitting room.
“Ayla, get me a drink she said loudly and sat on the chair.
” Yes ma’am she replied from the kitchen and smile inwardly.
“I’ll just put it right now she thought and brou-ght out the wrapped substance and pour a little amount into it.
She placed it on a tray and walked into the sitting room.
” Here ma’am she said and she collected it from her.
“Is there any other thing you need ma?
” No, you can leave… She replied.
Just as she was about sipping her drink, she heard the door bell.
She quickly stood up thinking it was Vince, she rushed to the door and opened it.
Her eyes wide-ned in shock when she saw who was at the door.

“What’re you doing here?? She asked immediately.
” Rose, we need to talk he said calmly and Rosie scoffed.
He struggled with her and walked in fully and close the door.
“What do you think you’re doing?? Trying to ruin my marriage or what?? Get out of here she half yelled and he started coming closer.
” Stay back Brax, get ou…… She couldn’t finish her statement before he pulled her closer by her wa-ist.
Her eyes wide-ned in shock and he slammed his li-ps on hers for-cefully.
Rosie struggled to break the ki-ss but he was more stronger than her. He dragged her more closer and de-epened the ki-ss.
The door suddenly flung opened and he released her to see who it was….
Vince….
“Vince, it’s not what you think Rosie said immediately.
He just stared blankly at them and walked out.

Vince walked out of the house, hop in the car and drove rou-ghly out of the compound.
He didn’t even know what to think,… Someone he has been trying to ask her about, she kept saying she didn’t know, now he was in their house. Not only in the house but ki-ssing her.
He grabbed the sterling more tight and hit his hand on it angrily.
“Is he her boyfriend? If yes, why did she for-ce him into marriage he thought angrily.
” This is crazy he ruffle his hair.
His phone started ringing, and he checked.
It’s Rosie… She has been since he left the house.
He hung up and dialled Reece number instead.
He picked at the third ring.
“Loverboy” Reece chuckle and he sigh.
“Hey, what’s wrong?? Reece asked when he noticed his mood
” Meet me at the bar Vince replied.
“Okay he replied and hung up

Rosie dialled Vince number for the unteempth time but he did’nt pick. She threw the phone on the bed and ruffle her hair.
Braxton left already.
She sat on the floor and cried bitterly.
” I should have told him”she sobbed crazily to herself.
“He wont trust me, he will hate me now she said to herself, her tears dropping continously.
She got hold of the drink Ayla brou-ght earlier and drank it all at once.
” Ayla she scream and she rushed in.
“Get me more drinks she mumbled drowsily and she left.

CIVETTA BAR***
Vince drank from his drink crazily while Reece just watch him not knowing what to say.
“Have you tried asking her who he was?? He asked and Vince look up at him.
” Of course, i did. She told me she didn’t know him… And for her to lie about it”he paused and drank again.
“They must be in a relationship he added and Reece sigh.
” This is crazy Reece muttered.
“Pick her calls and hear what she have to say” Reece said and he scoff.
“I wont” He replied simply.
“Seriously?? So what’re you gonna do?? Just sit here and drink like a maniac, huh? What’s wrong with you? Reece said, getting pissed already.
He just kept drinking and drinking.
” You think she’ll say the truth? She has been lying about it”Vince scoff.
“Just pick her calls…
Just then his phone rang…. It’s Rosie.
He looked at Reece and he nodded at him to pick the call.
He picked.
” Vince”she called shakingly
It’s obvious she has been crying.
“I’m listening Vince said simply.
” It’s not what you think”she sniffed.
“Seriously?? You’ll lie about it again, huh? I caught you Rose” Vince blurted.
“I….. She tried speaking but was interrupted by a sudden cough.
” Hey….. Vince called but she kept coughing non stop.
“Are you alright? He asked, already on his feet..

The call ended immediately.
“What happened? Reece asked, standing up as well.
” She’s not fine, i guess”vince said and ran out of the bar.
Reece followed.

XIOMARA HOUSE***
Xiomara laughed out loud from the sitting room and Orlando turned to her from the dining.
“Who’s she talking to? He thought and return eating.
She’s talking Jamal on the phone.
” You’re not serious Xiomara chuckle.
“So tell me, why were you crying then? He asked and she sigh.
” One sided love she replied and sat on the chair.
“Huh??
” Ever been inlove with someone who doesn’t feel the same? Xiomara asked.
“Of course, my case. I like you but you never gave me chance he replied and she smile.
” I fell for someone who doesn’t feel the same and he said it to my face…
“Ouch!! But who?? He asked.

“Vince?? He called surprisingly.
” Wow!! So, what will you do now?? He asked.
“I’ll just let go, he doesn’t feel the same she replied and yawn.
” Sleepy??
“Yeah she replied.

“Finally getting along he said and she smile.
” Maybe… Good night brother she said and he nodded.

Vince drove rou-ghly into the hospital compound, Reece was with him.
The driver already called them she has been taken to the hospital.
They both got down from the car and Reece phone rang.
Olive.
” Baby he called.
“Where’re you?? She whined and he smile.
” Hospital
“What happened?? Are you alright? She asked immediately.
” I’m fine, it’s Vince’s wife…
“Rosie, what’s wrong with her??
” Dont know yet he replied and started walking into the hospital.
Vince left him already.
“Which hospital? I’ll join you guys now..
” Rodney hospital…. Be careful he replied.
“Love you she said and hung up.
He smile and entered fully into the ward. The doctor was standing beside Rosie who was lying on the bed looking pale.
Vince was standing at the other side holding her palm.
” I still dont get what’s going on, this is the same substance you took m”the doctor said and vince arch his brow.
“Again Vince said.
” It’s dangerous, it drains the blood… She took it from her last drink…. Who gave her? The doctor asked.
“I dont know, i wasn’t at hom…..
” You have a maid, dont you? Reece cut in and Vince nodded.
“Ayla he said.
” I’m sure Ayla serve the drink Reece said and Vince stood up.
“Ayla, but why would she poison her… Maybe she took something in the office before coming home. Ayla w…..
” Are you dump?? Trust nobody Reece cut in.
“What do i do? Vince asked and dip his hand into his hair.
” Call the cobs Reece said.
“Huh??
” You heard me right Vince.. I’m sure she has something to do with this… First you.. Now Rosie he paused.
“Contact the cobs and get her arrested” He said.
“Okay Vince replied and brou-ght out his phone……
