( REALISING HIS FEELING)
Logan found himself walking in an unknown forest.
There was no sign of people cause if they were, he would have ask them for direction.
He kept walking down a path until he is got to a bridge.
“What am I to do now? Should I cross this or should I find another route?” Logan muttered.
Choosing to go over the bridge, he was about to take the first step when he heard a familiar voice.
Turning around slowly, he saw Crystal standing a few distance away watching him.
“Crystal?” He called
“It is me, Logan” Crystal answered which got him closing his eyes and opening it again.
“It is you” he said as he walk towards her to give her a tight hug.
“I can’t believe this. You are back in my arms” he muttered holding onto her.
“Where are we? The last thing I remember is that I was in a karaoke bar with….”
“This isn’t real Logan” Crystal said and that got him pulling away to stare at her face.
“What?”
“It’s just a dream”
“So you are saying that you aren’t really here and am not really here too?” Logan asked which got her nodding slowly.
Logan pulled her into his arms once again.
“If it’s a dream then you will disappear again. You are going to leave once I wake up and I don’t want that, you have no idea how much have missed you. I didn’t even get to say goodbye ” Logan said with tears in his eyes.
“I know. My death was a sudden and it has caused you pain through the years and so it’s time you let me go, Logan” she said and he tightened his hold on her.
“I can’t do that. Don’t ask me to do that ” Logan muttered crying softly.
“You made a vow the day I died. You said you won’t ever fall in love with anyone else, it’s time you let your heart love again and get to be loved in return” Crystal said as she pulled away to wipe off his tears.
“You will always be remembered by me just like I will always be remembered by you. Death has taken me away but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t live your life”
“You’ve got to be happy and that happiness lies with Whitney” Crystal told him softly.
“Do you know Whitney?”
“Let’s say I do and I know that you feel some thing for her. Though you haven’t acknowledge it yet ” Crystal answered and that got him letting out a snort.
“What I feel isn’t love” Logan answered mildly.
“What is it then? What exactly do you feel for her?” Crystal asked but there was no reply from him.
“See! You feel some thing for her. Whether you believe it or not, you have finally open your heart to some one and that some one is Whitney” Crystal said.
“You don’t mind me falling for some one else?” He asked which got her putting both hand on his cheek.
“What I want for you is to be happy and that happiness is by being with Whitney. Move on from me and be happy with her” Crystal said while Logan held onto her hand giving it a kiss.
“You will always be my….”
“I know. I will always be your first love while Whitney is your heart beat cause after all, your heart beats for her and knowing that alone makes me feel very happy” Crystal told him.
“I will never forget you”
“For the past seven years you’ve only been thinking of me and so it’s time you think of yourself and a future with Whitney in it” she told him which got him nodding slightly.
“I need to go now. I wasnt able to leave cause you kept getting me worried but now that I know you have Whitney. I can go in peace” Crystal told him as she made way to the bridge he had wanted to walk past earlier.
“I hope we meet again some day. Good bye Logan” Crystal said waving at him while he did the same.
A light which blare like the sun caught his face and he shut his eyes due to its brightness.
Opening his eyes, he found himself in a room.
He was lying on the bed and judging by the drip, he could tell that he’s in a hospital room.
The voice of some one crying got him looking at his bed side.
Whitney had her head down and while she held one of his hand in hers, she kept crying her eyes out.
“If you are crying because you think am dead then you should stop ” he said which earn her attention..
“Oh Logan, it’s a relief to see you awake. Do you know how scared I was” she said as she began crying harder.
“And that’s why am up. Thanks for worrying about me” he said stretching up his hand to wipe a tear off her cheek.
“Let me get the doctor” she said trying to pull away but he tightened his hold on her hand.
“I don’t want you to go” Logan said which got her smiling.
“I will be back soon” she replied before leaving the room.
As soon as she got out of his ward, she saw Susan making way towards her.
“Is this what you call helping me?” Susan ask looking angry.
“What happened during the movie thing isn’t my doing. I didn’t know that Logan would leave you there alone” Whitney told her truthfully.
“Liar. Your intention was to make me look like a fool and you succeeded. You have no idea how hurt I felt when he left me standing there alone. The truth is that you want him for yourself right? ” Susan said with pent up anger.
“You’ve got it….” Whitney couldn’t give a reply because Susan slapped her on the face.
“That’s for being a hypocrite and this is for offering me help which made me look like a fool” She said wanting to hit Whitney again but Logan held her hand which prevented the slap.
“Leave us alone Whitney” Logan said glaring at Susan.
“But…”
“Go and wait in my room!” He barked at Whitney who quickly did as he said.
“Logan I….”
“Let me make one thing clear to you. Don’t you ever raise your hand on Whitney again. You don’t own me and neither do you have a right to scare every woman around me away” He said which got her looking away in guilt.
“You knew about it?”
“I found it odd that most of the female client who showed an interest in me ends up cancelling their request and I finally found out the reason today” Logan said glaring down at her.
“They are all sluts who try to get your attention” Susan defended herself.
“I will be the one to judge that myself. I know about your feelings for me but it’s best that I make it clear to you that I don’t feel a thing nor will I ever feel a thing for you” he said
“Is that because of Whitney?” Susan asked.
“You don’t need to know that, so do me a favour and go home. You look tired from exhaustion” He said which got her nodding slightly.
He went back to his room not waiting for Susan to leave first.
“What did you tell her? Hope you didn’t tell her off? She really feels some thing for you? You should try giving her a chance” Whitney said this as soon as he walk in.
He ignored her and went to seat on his bed but Whitney followed standing in front of him.
“If you keep up with this then I won’t be able to help you. You should try letting it work between you and Whitney and….” She stop talking when he pulled her towards him by holding onto her waist.
“Will you stop lecturing me, I know what’s right and wrong for me. Believe me when I tell you that Susan isn’t the right girl for me” He said tightening his arm around her when she tried to pull away.
“Then who is the right girl? If you keep up with this then no one will want you” She said trying to control her anger.
“Won’t you want me?” He asked and that got her starring his way.
“Forget I said that and join me” he added lightly.
She had no idea what he meant until he pulled her down on the bed with him.
“What are you doing?” Whitney said trying to get off and he held her back.
“I want to get some sleep” He replied.
“What if people sees us?” Whitney asked hitting his hand.
“Have you forgotten that to every one here including your dearest Romeo, we are a couple?” He asked which got her relaxing in his hold.
“We both know that it’s a fake relationship” She said softly.
“I know and that’s why I won’t kiss you” he replied enjoying the moment of having her in his arms.
“Logan I don’t think this is….”
“If you keep arguing then am really going to kiss you. I don’t intend to do any thing bad to you, I only need some one with me and you are the only one have got” he whispered behind her.
Whitney didn’t know why her heart kept pounding due to having him sleep behind her.
While concentrating on a way to stop her heart from beating fast she ended up falling asleep in his arms.
And Logan who noticed this couldn’t help but to smile.
Crystal is right, he’s deeply in love with Whitney. He thought as he pulled her closer before falling asleep.
The sun drifting in through the window got Logan opening his eyes.
Whitney was still fast asleep in his arms and that made him feel happy.
He was about to seat up when he notice some one standing by the window.
“You are finally up” Rose Graham said starring at her son and at Whitney who had also woken up.
“What are you doing here!” Logan asked while she smiled at both of them in return…..
