He was about to un-hook her br@zier when he st©pped abruptly pe-cking her on thel-ips.
“Sorry for going too far.” He apologized still in-between her legs.
“Thank you … I love every bit of it.” Cindy said softly k!ss!nghis forehead.
“Let’s eat.” He said.
“I want ice cream instead.” She pouted her l!plike a baby.
” Why? What happened to this one we’re eating? ” He asked.
“I lost interest.” She said staring at him.
” Where do I look for ice cream now? ” He asked himself as he took out his phone from his pocket trying to make an order.
” No… I don’t want an ordered Ice cream. You should go yourself now, that would make it more sweeter. ” She said like a baby.
” There’s no difference… If I order it or go to buy it myself for you, it’s still the same ice cream we’re talking about. ” He said.
“No. Go by yourself now. .. ” she whined faking a frown face.
” Alright alright babe. I’ve heard you. I’ll go and get it for you. Now, st©p frowning at me. ” He said
Cindy smiled and he smiled too.
“I’m going now. ” He said and made to leave.
” You ain’t gonna k!ssme before leaving?” She asked.

It’s getting late. Alice and George was sitted together in the living room after taking dinner when they heard a knock outside.
” I’ll get it.” Alice said and went to the door.
She opened it and was shocked to see Dammie.
” Good evening.” Alice greeted.
Dammie ignored her and pushed her aside, walking inside.
“George.” She called as she got to the living room.
George was surprised to see her. Alice c@m£ into the picture and told them she’d excuse them but George objected telling her to sit with them which she did without a word.
“I’m here to talk things out with you concerning our baby. When should we get marry?” She asked.
“Just like that? Don’t you know that whosoever rush Into marriage will rush out eventually?” George asked.
“Yes, just like that. We’re getting married before I give birth to this child!” Dammie said authoritatively.
“No way!” George said raising his voice.
“Yes way!” Dammie said raising her voice too.
“Do you think you’ll just use and dump me like you did to her? No, you must be mistaken. I’m grateful you haven’t got rid of my own wo-mb that God still love me to the extent of giving me chance to give birth again unlike some people that are not opportune to have that grace.” Dammie said indirectly referring to Alice ..
Alice un-derstood the message but said nothing.
” Dammie… I’d be the one to decide whether I’m marrying you or not but now I’ve decided I’m not spending the rest of life with you! I can’t marry you, you lack manners and characters!” George said
” George! Don’t get on my nerves tonight. I c@m£ here to settle matter not to add to it plea-se and you know my condition doesn’t allow stress and all that! So plea-se, respect that!’ she said.
“Whatever your condition is, you are nothing but my baby mama. I can and will never marry you.” George declared…
Dammie was quiet was some minutes before talking again.
“Really? Don’t worry. We shall see. Till we get marry, don’t forget my weekly upkeep money.” She said before standing up to leave.
“That is not the problem. It’s my child after all.” George said as he stood up too
“Goodnight.” Dammie said quietly and left the house. George locked the door behind her and went back to the living room.
“Ain’t you too harsh on her?” Alice asked.
“I’m not dear… She’s not an easy lady either.” George said hvgging her
“I’m sorry for everything.” He added
Alice said nothing as she just rested her head on his shoulder fighting back her tears as regrets filled her heart.

” Here is the…” Samuel said but Cindy was fast asleep.
” No ..Cindy, you can’t be asleep!” He said looking at the ice cream he’s holding
Without a word, he walked to the kitchen and placed the ice cream inside the refrigerator before going back to his food.
After eating, he packed the plates to the kitchen sink and started washing them. Some minutes into the washing, he felt a hand wra-pped around his w@!st and a head placed on his back.
“I thought you’re asleep.,” He said.
“Yes and I just woke up.” She answered slowly.
“Your ice cream is in the refrigerator.” He said
“Thank you…but I lost interest again. What kept you so long.”
” You must be joking by saying you lost interest.”
” Yes now. You can keep it then.” She said.
Samuel said nothing as he focused on the dishes he’s doing.
” You’re not saying anything. Are you mad at me?” She asked.
No response.
Soon, he was done and he arranged everything. He left the kitchen to the living room without looking at her or saying a word.
” Samuel…” Cindy called after him and followed him to the living room.
He answered her not as he just took his seat picking up the remote.
“I’m talking to you now…” Cindy whined sitting beside him and resting on his shoulder.
Samuel just ignored her and concentrated on the TV.. Cindy, seeing him like that was ru-bbing his che-st and gently un-bu-ttoning his shi-t.
Despite that he’s not giving her the nee-ded attention. So she resulted into tickling him which he let out laughter immediately.
“S…st©p!” He said amidst laughter.
“No..I won’t st©p until you say something.” She said still tickling him.
“O…ok..what…should I say…?” He asked laughing so ha-rd .
“Candy Cindy…sorry for ignoring you.” She said
“Okay.. I will say it ” he said.
Cindy let go of him.
” Now, say that.” She said.
” Candy Cindy… Sorry for ignoring you. ” He said
” Satisfy? ” He added.
” Now, I want my ice cream. ” She said.
” It’s in the refrigerator. ” He said.
” I should go and get it? ”
” Sure now. ” He said.
” You’re kidding. St©p it and go and get it for me. ” She said.
Samuel stared at her for some seconds before leaving for the kitchen.
Cindy sighed and sat well resting her back.
“Tomorrow would be a busy day.” She muttered.
Her phone rang… She checked the caller and it was Phili-p.
“Pick it.” She heard Samuel’s voice said behind her.
“Why?” She asked with a broken voice.
“Just hear him out.” He answered.
“What is it that he want to say?”
Samuel took the phone from her,picked it and gave it back to her.
📲Cindy…plea-se I am so sorry for everything. We cannot undo what has been done. What I want us to do now is to meet and talk about the baby, our baby. You know we nee-d to….

She said and ended the call tears tickling down her cheek.

” I trusted him a lot…but ..” she wept.

After some minutes, Phil!pcalled two of his securities to esc-rt her out of his company. He called another worker to place a vacancy notice outside.
He breathed out and his thoughts went to Cindy and where she asked them to meet. He stood up, took his car keys and left his office.

“How did this hvge amount of money disappeared from the company’s account? ” He yelled at his secretary as sweat beads formed on his forehead.
“S… Sir… I… We don’t know because there was no trace of the transaction. We just knew something was wrong but no one knows how, when! ” The secretary answered.
“Shuut up !!! ” Emmanuel yelled more louder?!
“How do you mean that you don’t know how or when? Do you know the gravity of this? This company is down with debts!” He yelled more louder than the previous.
His secretary was silent not knowing what else to utter. The whole thing was like a dream to everyone in the company.
His phone rang. He angrily picked it seeing it’s from the bank where he work.
📞Yes? I’m on my way .. anything you want to say can wait.
📲It can’t wait sir .. you’re wanted by the government for there’s an unknown transaction of hvge amount of money that left the bank’s account.

The call ended… Emmanuel was like he was dreaming.
First, his own personal company is in hvge debt! Then the bank where he worked too ……he felt like leaving the world forever and not to come again.

Fred walked to her and hvgged her warmly.
Phil-ips tood up quietly and left the office. Mimi was fidgeting on what to do.
“Should I tell him the truth or what do I do? My career is over if he get to know…” She thought as she was fighting back her tears.
After hvgging her for some minutes, he let go of her and esc-rted her to her car.

“I know. But I and your boss has discussed about it. You know your pregnancy has some ‘buts’ so plea-se you nee-d rest, adequate one ” Mrs Jenny said.
“No!!!? ” She screamed heading upstairs angrily in tears.
