Angelo woke up and groaned loudly feeling a bang in his heart as he turned to see Avery who was sleeping beside him.
Isn’t this Avery, what is she doing. Did she finally believe my words”Angelo said as then the same time Avery woke up and hugged him tightly.”
“I love you so much babe, please don’t leave me”she cried as Angelo was surprised. She didn’t lose her memories, then why did she lie to him.
“U thought you lost your memories”Angelo asked slowly””
“No babe, I didn’t lose my memories, I actually had to lie to you that I lost my memories because your father threatened to kill me”Avery dropped the bombshell as Angelo spranged up from the bed with anger written all over his face.””
“How dare that bastard fucking threatened you, he must not go Scot free after everything he has done. I will make him pay for it”Angelo yelled as Avery stood up and grabbed his hand as his heart softened.””
“Please babe don’t do anything for now. Remember that you are just waking up”Avery muttered””
“You don’t actually know how I feel, I thought that I have lost you when you hit your head on the ground. I almost went crazy when you liked to me that you have lost your memories. I can’t imagine my life without you, please don’t scare me like that”Angelo stated”
“I’m sorry, forgive me my love”Avery replied and crashed her lips on his as both devoured each other lips.””

BACK AT THE PARTY
Everyone gasped in shock the moment Xavier brought out the gun from his pocket and pointed it at Richmond.
“You think that I will be happy to see you became happy after taking Lyla away from me. I’m going to kill you right here”Xavier yelled”
“You lied, I didn’t took her away from you instead you dumped her making her to fall in love with me””Richmond yelled as the memories of the past came into his head”

THREE YEARS AGO
Lyla arrived at Washington late that night as she was carrying her bag, she can’t wait to meet the lov of her life. The one she has been chatting all this while.
She saw someone on the road and it happened to be Xavier as she stared at her phone and it was him.
“Xavier”she called as Xavier turned and frowned on seeing Lyla. She must be so daft to think that he loves her.””
“Who are you and how may I help you. Did you perhaps knows me”Xavier asked in pretence as Lyla felt her heart shattering into pieces.””
“It’s me Lyla Brown the girl you have been chatting on social media. I came from all the way of California to Washington to see you and this is what I gets in return”Lyla asked as tears rolled down her checks.””
“That’s your business”Xavier replied and made to walk away but she grabbed his hand ”
“Please Xavier don’t do this to me, you can’t just abandon me in this unknown place. I don’t anywhere from here”Lyla cried but Xavier yanked off her hand from his..””
“Get off me before I destroy your face, foolish girls”Xavier replied””
What’s going on here”they heard a voice and turned to see Richmond walking towards them.”
“Hey Xavier, isn’t this the pretty girl you have been chatting all these while”Richmond smiled as Xavier let out a scoff.
“And how does that concern me, she’s so daft to think that I love. I don’t even love her a bit, gosh how can girls fall for this”Xavier laughed and turned to Lyla who was in tears”find a way to take flight back to California and stop disturbing my life, stupid girl”
Xavier walked away as Richmond was so sad for the girl and angry at Xavier. How can a girl came all the way from California to see him and that’s what the girl gets in return, he even had the guts to insult her.
“I’m sorry for my friends behavior please forgive him”Richmond said””
“I don’t what to do right now, he was acting sweet and lovely on the social media but right here he’s a devil on human form”Lyla muttered bitterly””
“You have to follow, I will lodge you in a hotel”Richmond said as the girl smiled””
“Thank you,I can’t believe that I’m meeting Richmond Cardinal one of the popular idol in Washington. Nice to meet you”Lyla said””
“You are welcome”Richmond replied and left with her as they entered the car and drove off””

THREE DAYS LATER
Lyla laughed as she was playing with Richmond. She was actually living with him and they have become fond of each other.
“Gosh,you are a fast runner. I didn’t expect you to caught me””Lyla laughed
“There’s something that have been bothering me and I want to tell it to you”Richmond stated as Lyla looked up to him.””
“What’s that”she asked as Richmond hold her hand and she felt her heart skipped a bit.””
“I love you”he confessed as there were silence in the room. Lyla blinked her eyes not believing what she heard.
“I mean I love you so Lyla Brown, this days we have shared made me fall for you. Can you please give me a chance to come into your life I promise not to act like my friend”Richmond said “”
“It have been my dream come true to be with the man I love due someone break my heart. I actually loved you from the very day you helped me. I really love you”Lyla said wrapping her hands around his neck””
“Will you be my girlfriend”he said””
“Yes, I will be your girlfriend”she screamed in joy and Richmond pulled her into a hug.””
“I can’t believe this, I’m the most happiest man on Earth, “he replied and disengaged from the hug and kissed each other as then Xavier entered and they break the kiss “”
Xavier didn’t spare Lyla a glance before walking out of the house.
“Babe, don’t worry. I will talk to him”Richmond replied and left the house.””

“You shouldn’t have ask her to be your girlfriend, you fucking betrayed me”Xavier yelled while everyone watched the drama.””
“I didn’t betrayed you Xavier, I thought we have settled the matter about Lyla when you saw us kissing and I went to talk to you. But you fucking didn’t agree, you went as far as threatening Lyla”Richmond yelled as Xavier stared at him in shock.””

Xavier stared at him in shock with his eyes widen. Richmond used this as an opportunity and grabbed the gun from him as he pointing it at him.
“I overheard you threatening her but she didn’t told me anything because she was afraid and I had to pretend. Three months after I have proposed to her, she was pregnant with for me a set of twins but you fucking killed her that night if my mom haven’t called me and I have to excuse myself. You shot Lyla on the stomach killing her and the innocent baby making me to be cold-hearted and cruel to everyone. I hate you so much Xavier for betraying me”Richmond yelled with tears streaming down his face.
Xavier felt guilty as he regretted his actions but it was too late as the cops arrived already.
“You are under arrest Mr Xavier for killing Lyla Anderson years ago and for trying to kill Richmond Cardinal. Anything you say will be used against you in the court”the cops said and brought out the hand cuffs as xavier began to shed tears.
“I’m sorry Richmond”Xavier said as Richmond rushed to him punching his mouth leaving him a wound.”
“Don’t you dare utter any word, what if you have killed me then you will be sorry. I hate you and I pray that you rot in jail”he yelled as Marissa pulled him into a hug and left the party same as everyone.””
Whitney stared at Xavier with so much disappointment in her eyes.
“I can’t believe that you can actually do this Xavier. You started your so called revenge and now where did it landed you in, jail. You just broke our friendship and I hope you dies in the jail. I hate you”Whitney yelled as left same as Huston who didn’t spare him a glance.””
Xavier brought out his hand and the cops handcuffed his hand and he walked out of the party and entered inside the police van.
“Hey,”Vivian held a voice and turned to see Brad walking towards her holding a flower as her heart skipped a bit.”””
“How come you are walking, I thought you are using wheelchair”Vivian gasped””
“I’m using wheelchair but I tried standing up and it successfully happen. Finally, I can walk”Brad said and handed over the flower to her.”You deserve more than this, I can believe you are this courageous and actually planned the whole drama. “Thanks, the flower smells so nice”Vivian replied inhaling the sweet fragrance coming out from the flower.

Benita was panicking in her office after hearing the news about Xavier who was arrested.
“Gosh, how can he be dumb to let himself get arrested. I hope he doesn’t mention that he’s working for me, I need to go home right now”she muttered and pack some files into her bag and walked out of the office before locking it.
“Make sure you close the company once it’s sharp six”she told her secretary””

The gate open automatically as the car drive inside the compound and the driver came out of the car and open the car for her as Susan walked out looking at the magnificent house.
“Welcome back ma’am”Joshua said as Susan nodded he head””
“” thank you, you are welcome. I can’t wait to see my son after all these years they think that am dead”Susan said as Joshua saw something in his phone.”
“I think I saw something ma’am”Joshua said””
“What’s that”she replied as Joshua handed over his phone to her.””
“From the look of things that happened at the president house, his daughter Vivian exposed your son’s best friend because he’s the one that killed his girlfriend”Joshua explained””
“What the hell, how dare him. Despite what Happened, I think someone connived with him to kill her and that’s why I’m back for Benita. She won’t go Scot free after killing me her own sister”Susan yelled with anger written all over her face while folding her fist slowly.””
“You need to rest ma’am before anything else”Joshua said as Susan sighed before walking inside the mansion while Joshua followed behind.””

Ever since they arrived at the mansion Richmond went to his room and locked the door despite Marissa who was knocking on the door.
“Please Richie open the door”Marissa cried hitting the door yet no response as she crawled on the ground with a heavy heart.”””
The pain of seeing your best friend betraying you, it hurts so much.
The door opened and the girls rushed in and Marissa looked up and saw them crying heavily.
“He refused to open the door for me, I can’t bear seeing him in tears”Marissa cried””
“Stop crying girl, he will come around”Whitney said as they took her to the couch and began to console her””
Meanwhile, Richmond was in his room crying heavily as his mind flashes to the times they spend together, crack jokes and play together.
It shattered his heart that Xavier could betrayed him.
“Damn you motherfucker””he yelled in tears.”
