THE NEXT DAY~A4’S SUITE***
Silence…. The whole house was in a sudden silence with the guy’s eyes fixed on the TV. They had a surprise gaze on their face with their mouth agape in shock.
“Is…. Is this true?” Aaron stuttered, finally breaking the silence that was taking forever.
“She’s a prostitute?” Ace muttered too in shock.
“This is unbelievable, swears. I really can’t believe this right now. So, Axel’s parents want a prostitute for him?” Aiden scoffed in disbelief.
“Can’t believe his father went as far as disowning him just because of her,” Ace shook his head.
“Do you think Axel is aware of this already?” Aaron asked
“He should. The news is all over the internet, he’ll be aware of this,” Ace said.
“I’m sure his father will probably be looking for ways to apologize to him, Karma is a bit-ch ,” Aaron chuckled.
The news of Ariel County, the daughter of the politician Grayson County being a prostitute spread like wildfire over the whole of Australia.
“Even if his father comes begging on his knees, Axel would never cancel his trip to Canada. Once he’s made up his mind, nothing can ever change that,” Aaron muttered with a light smile on his li-ps.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
Waking up with the love of your life in your arms is surely the greatest thing a man could ever wish for. Same goes for Axel.
His eyes fluttered open and the first thing that beheld his eyes was the face of his girlfriend, curled like a year old baby in his arms.
Her hair was sprawled on his chest and her hand was around him. Her li-ps were puckered softly and a low chuckle escaped the back of his throat.
He gently raised his hand and tucked her hair to the back of her ear, his hand lingering on her soft cheeks.
The scene of the previous night flashed throu-ghhis mind and a nau-ghty smile left his li-ps. Last night was the best night of his life.
“I love you,” he whispered, staring at her with his eyes filled with admiration.
“Even if I leave for three years, you’ll always be in my heart, Mi amor. I’ll never forget you, baby,” he whispered again.
He hug-ged her head to his chest tightly as a lone tear escaped the corner of his eyes. He’d be leaving tomorrow and the thought of him leaving for three years made his heart ache.
“Baby?” He pulled away when he heard her voice. His eyes landed on hers to find hers shining brightly. She’s awake.
“Mine,” he murmured softly.
Melanie smiled before raising her head just to meet his gaze. Her hand went to his li-ps and she bit hers gently.
“How was your night?” Axel asked and her cheeks flushed in embarra-ssment. She quickly hid her face on his chest and that action of hers made Axel laugh.
“Wait… Is she shy right now?” Axel muttered in an amused tone.
“You don’t have to be, baby, because this is just the beginning,” he added in a flirting manner.
Hearing that, Melanie shifted back a bit so she could stare right into his eyes.
“So naughty,” she giggled, hitting his arm slightly.
Axel laughed gracefully, the sound of his laughter sounding melodious to her ears.
“Tomorrow,” He suddenly started.
“Let’s not talk about it please, at least not now,” Melanie said
Axel nodded in understanding before holding her bare back to himself. He should spoil the moment for them now.

MOMENTS LATER***
Axel was in the living room, his eyes glued on his phone. He had just finished having his bath and when he pressed his phone, he discovered a shocking thing.
There were 30 missed calls and it was all from his parents. He was still dwelling in shock when a message popped on his phone. In an attempt to cli-ck on it, a call came up on his phone…
“Hey buddy,” he muttered after picking the call.
“Have you seen the message I sent to you?” Aaron asked over the phone.
“Yes, just now. I haven’t cli-cked on it though, what’s it about?” Axel asked.
“A shocking news. Just check it out,” Aaron said and the call ended instantly.
“What’s he saying?” Axel wondered, going to his message box.
He cli-cked on the message and a video played instantly. It was a Video of Ariel and the two guys. Then, the videos of the reporters filling her house came up next.
He was still watching the video when Melanie appeared. She was putting on his numerous shirts, his favorite to be precise.
“What’s that?” She plopped herself beside him and rested her head on his shoulder. She peeked into his phone and her eyes cli-cked when she found the picture familiar.
“Who’s she? She kinda looks familiar,” she asked.
“My so-called betrothed,” Axel muttered.
All at once, Melanie raised her head from his shoulder, grabbing the phone from him immediately.
“What?” She screamed, watching the video with shock clearly written on her face.
“Even though I never gave her my attention, I still can’t believe she’s this kind of person,” Axel muttered.
“No wonder they called,” he mumbled
“Who?” Melanie asked, her eyes still glued on the phone.
“My parents. I missed their calls,” Axel replied.
“My Dad has always claimed her to be the right woman for me, I’m sure his eyes will be cleared right now,” he said.
“This is really bad. I wonder how she’s feeling right now,” Melanie mumbled sadly.

AT A HOSPITAL***
Reporters could be seen standing outside a particular door, cameras cli-cking harshly. Some even started ban-ging the door loud, hoping to find a response.
????️ Miss Ariel, can you just come outside and show your face please?
????️ You need to say something please, you can just stay quiet
????️ Are you truly the girl in the video? If yes, then kindly come out and explain something to us.
Inside the room, Ariel could be seen on the bed, her face buried on the quilt. Her eyes were soaked with tears and she already had a runny nose.
Everything came crumbling for her and her family in just a few hours, the news was everywhere and she wouldn’t dare show her face to anyone.
“How the fuc-k did this happen? You’re sleeping around with Guys?!” Mr. County thundered.
“Do you know what your stupid actions have caused now? You’ve destroyed my name for Pete’s sake, Ariel!” He kept on yelling.
Mrs. County was sitting on a chair in the room, her face buried in her palms. Her body was shaking violently and once could have sensed that she was crying.
“I trusted you, Ariel! Is this how you intend to pay me back?!” She cried.
Ariel bit her li-ps in utter disgrace, she dare not show up her face, rather she hid it inside the quilt. After she lost consciousness at Axel’s parents house, she was rushed to the hospital by the guards immediately.
Meanwhile, the reporters were still outside, trying to force their way in.
The ward was filled in silence as each person was brooding in his/her own thoughts.
Ariel could have never guessed something big as this coming her way, not even in her dreams. But then, her mind pointed at no one else but… Tony.

IN A ROOM***
Tony could be seen pacing around the room restlessly, his mind was in total disarray. His hair was disheveled, and his forehead was wrinkled in total concern.
A guy entered the room and Tony rushed to him, grabbing his collar harshly.
“How dare you upload that video?! I fuc-k ing told you not to!” He yelled.
“Chill dude,” the guy muttered and moved out of Tony’s hold
“I only did what was right. How can she be getting engaged and then still toying with your feelings? That’s unfair bro,” he said.
“And do you know what that stupid action has caused? Her family is in a lot of trouble right now. fuc-k !” Tony punched the air in anger.
“It’ll die down soon, trust me. And, I don’t think she’ll be getting engaged any longer. And, this is a chance for you, her Dad would accept you since he wouldn’t want his only daughter to remain single forever,” he said.
Tony stared at him.

THE BRAUN MANSION***
“I clearly told you, Greg. But you insisted that you want her alone for our son! Now look, are your eyes clear now? He wouldn’t even pick our calls!” Mrs. Braun kept ranting as she paced around the room.
Mr. Braun sat on the bed, looking lost. Never would he have imagined Ariel turning into a chameleon overnight.
Ariel had always been the sweet girl to him, she was the girl a father would always wish for his son, but then…. It was all a facade.
A frustrated sigh escaped his li-ps at the thought of him disowning his only child, pricked his heart hard. Would he ever forgive him?
Even after everything? To the extent of him freezing his account??

WINK MODELLING AGENCY***
“Are your things set? You’re leaving tomorrow,” the Director said to Axel. They were both in his office.
“Yes, sir,” Axel replied.
“I’m glad you chose the right path, Axel. And you’ll never regret it, I’m going to do my best for you,” the Director said.
“And, your flight takes off at 5am, you shouldn’t missed it,” he added
Axel nodded with the only thing on his mind, Melanie. He still can’t believe he wouldn’t be seeing her for three years.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
Axel entered the house to meet a surprising sight. His friends were all present including Melanie’s.
“Surprise!!!” They shouted when he finally got to them.
“What are you guys doing here?” He asked.
“A goodbye party!” Aaron winked.
Axel glanced at Melanie. She was smiling but he could sense de-ep pains behind that smile of hers.
He went to her and held her hand, dragging her to the room with him.
“Cry it out baby,” he whispered.
“Huh? What are you talking about?” Melanie feigned innocence.
“You don’t have to hide it in love. But, always have it at the back of your mind that I love you, I’ll always do,” he muttered.
Melanie’s tears came trickling down her cheeks and her hand went to his shirt, burying her face on it.
“Don’t forget me please, Axel. Don’t break me, I can’t do without you,” she cried.
Axel smiled before breaking the short hug. He dipped his hand into his pan-ts pocket and brou-ght out a small box.
He opened it and a shiny Gold necklace came into view. The pendant was in the form of a ring, with his name engraved on it.
Melanie sniffed as she stared at him cluelessly.
“This ring…” Axel started, bringing out the necklace from the box.
“It’s a sign of my undying love for you. I may be gone for three years, but not out of your life baby. You’ll always be my one and only. My first and last love, the only one I’d wanna spend my whole life with,” he paused and moved closer to her.
Gently, he wore the necklace around her neck and after he was done, he placed a kis-s on the necklace, his li-ps touching her neck slightly.
“Don’t ever forget me baby, because I’ll surely be back for you. This time, as a man who’s worthy of your love. A man who doesn’t depend on his parents wealth and a man who deserves to be your husband” he whispered.
By the time he was done, Melanie’s face was already soaked with tears. She was crying badly, her hand touching the necklace around her neck.
Axel pulled her to his chest and his tears fell freely from his eyes. This was the hardest decision of his life.
“I love you,” he whispered.
Melanie only responded by crying in his arms.
