“Don’t dare touch my intern” Romeo warned seriously, bringing Michelin down from her high.
Juliet has an overly shocked look on her face too.
Romeo just defended her!, It feels like a darn dream.
He shocked her more by grabbing her hand, he took her out of the room.
Michelin continued gasping in shock, rolling her furious eyes around.
“He tou-ched her again, Romeo stood up for her, really?” She said, still in shock.
Romeo got back to the ward and let go of Juliet immediately.
“Were you going to let her shove her nails into your eyes?” He asked, facing her.
Though Juliet knows the answer to the question but to answer is another problem, the way he’s looking at her intently right now is causing awkwardness and besides, he’s a stern boss who’s always shouting at her or hurting her but he’s not shouting right now, he’s getting worked up because someone tried to hurt her.
She started ru-b-bing her wrists, thinking of a way to say the words.
“Forget it” he said eventually and walked back to the bed, he lay back on it and when he remembered he actually fell on her when he p@$$ed out, he faced her.
“Did I hurt you?” He asked, making her look up quickly.
“Huh?”
“Are you mute today?” He asked.
“I…. I’m fine…fine” she said.
“Of course you are, you won’t be mimicking me if you’re not” he replied and her eyes wide-ned.
“You … You heard. .that?”
“My ears are quite sharp” he replied.
“I…I didn’t mean to mimic you, I…was just…not” she started rambling and babbling meaningless words.
“What exactly is your personality like?, Sometimes you act fearless, sometimes you act fearful, sometimes you act smart and sometimes dumb, you were talking without an hitch when you were mimicking me but now you’re stammering, I don’t bite” Romeo said.
“What I mean is….I’m sorry for mimicking you, I promise not to do that again” she replied.
“You’re not the type who keeps to promises, you’ll do whatever you want without thinking” he said and she l-icked her li-ps gently, looking at the ground.
“I never knew you could talk like this” she suddenly said.
Romeo sighed.
“You’ve been talking for three minutes without stopping” she said.
“You made me do it” he replied, closing his eyes.
“You’re in Mona hospital” she said, walking to his bed.
“I know, I’d have found my way out of here if it was before, but you told me to start behaving like a human so I’m just gonna start from somewhere” he replied and Juliet smiled.
“So are you gonna start being nice to madam Mona, Justus and your dad?” She asked, sitting on the chair beside his bed.
“I never said I’m gonna forgive them, I’m gonna start learning how to be nice, and you just called Justus by his name” he said, opening his eyes.
“Yes, he told me to call him that, we’re friends” she smiled.
“Whatever” Romeo replied and sat up again.
“You seem uncomfortable” Juliet said.
“Yes, I nee-d to get out of here, wait!, For how long have I been here?” He asked.
“You were brou-ght in the morning when Megan died”
“So…she really died” he sighed, standing up.
Juliet stood too.
“I nee-d to go” he said, taking a step forward but his leg hit on the chair and he staggered, going down afterwards.
“Boss!” Juliet gasped, dra-ping her arms around him to bring him back but her palms mistakenly grabbed his bu-tt.
She successfully brou-ght him back to his feet but they kept standing still, her palm still stayed glued to his bu-tt and their eyes are still wide.
“My…bu-tt” Romeo muttered.
Baby came in and his eyes wide-ned, Juliet quickly let go.
“What the hell is going on?” Baby gasped.
“We were…” Juliet and Romeo said at a time.
They looked at each other.
“You were?’ Baby said.
“Yes we were…” They said at a time again.
Mona came in, saving them indirectly.
“Romeo you’re finally awake” she smiled, walking to him very fast.
He hu-gged him and he wanted to push her away but Juliet said no by shaking her head.
He stood still, not hu-gging her back though.
“Are you feeling any pain?, Tell me” she asked after breaking it.
“I’m fine” he said simply.
“I’m glad” Mona smiled and made to hu-g him again but he declined.
“My clothes” he said and Ben rushed in with them.
“Glad you’re back!” He said.
Romeo took his clothes and went in to change, when he came back, Justus and Naomi were already present.
“My boo” Naomi smiled, hu-gging him.
“Get off” he replied, breaking the hu-g.
She tou-ched his hair like a kid and he glared.
“You’re… fine already… right?” Justus asked awkwardly.
“Yeah” he replied curtly and left the ward.
Everyone watched him as he walked but he suddenly looked back.
“Ben… Juliet” he said.
“Yes sir!” They both followed him out.
“I felt his body warmness today, I’m so happy” Mona smiled.
Baby quickly rushed after Juliet and caught up in front of the hospital.
“Pretty li-ps” he called after her and she stopped to look back.
“Hi” he smiled cutely.
“Mr di-ckson Gilbert” she smiled.
“Nah, it’s Baby, even my mum calls me Baby” he replied.
“Ok, Baby” Juliet replied.
“Fu-ck, it sounds Se-xy on your li-ps, I’d love to take you out for dinner tommorow, what do you think?” He winked.
“Dinner?” Juliet said.
“Of course pretty li-ps, wait is there magnet on your li-ps, it’s drawing me closer for a kizz, I feel like kizzing your tempting li-ps and damn!, I love your curves” he replied, looking at her little hips .
Juliet has heard so much about him being a fli-rt but this is more than she heard.
“Pervert” she said with a smile.
“That’s me, so are you in for dinner tommorow?, You might be my future wife who knows?” He winked again and Naomi hit his head from the back.
“Ouch!, Bully!” He ru-bbed his head.
“Don’t mind him, his mouth is just sugar-coated,his Br@in is empty” she said and Juliet smiled again.
“Wait…you’re the intern in the blue boxers picture and…. wait! Wait!, You’re Merritt’s friend!” Naomi’s eyes wide-ned.
“Yes big sis” Juliet replied and Naomi quickly hu-gged her.
“You know I’ve only met you once so I didn’t even know it was you when I saw the picture, how have you been?” She asked, breaking the hu-g.
“I’m good sis”
“I should really thank you for letting Merritt stay with you, she refused to stay with me when I offered, she said dad might still have control over her life if she does” Naomi said sadly.
“I un-derstand, I’ll continue to take good care of her don’t worry, you should continue taking care of Mrs Barrington too” Juliet smiled.
“I will, let me have your new number” Naomi gave her the phone and she typed her number.
“I’ll see you around” she hu-gged her again before leaving for her car.
“Hey cutie” Justus came out.
“Cute Justus!” She smiled and Justus chuckled, touching her hair.
“You look extra cute today” he said, looking at her from her hair to her toes.
“Thanks” she smiled shyly.
“Will you ride with me?” He asked, hoping she’ll say yes.
“Of course” she replied and he smiled happily.
“Shall we stop by an ice cream shop and grab two cu-ps on the way?” He asked.
“I really can’t wait” she replied and he took her hand, p-ulling her to his car.
He made to open the door for her but she stopped him.
“I’ll do it” she said and he reluctantly let go of the door.
They got in together and he drove away.
“Are they that close?” Romeo said from his car.
“Where should the driver go?” Ben asked .
“Home, and did you get the dog I asked?” He replied.
“Yes, we’ll pick it up on our way” Ben replied.

TREASURE CASTLE
“Ma cherrie!” Maria gushed loudly when Reid came in with Peter.
He just hung out since he heard that she’s around, not like he’s afraid to face her but he doesn’t want to.
She’s her betrothed, the daughter of another queen in France, a princess but a slutty one.
It’s worse that his mum doesn’t care, all she cares about is the dignity that comes with her family name.
She wants him to get married from a royal family too.
“Hey” he replied dryly and entered his room, ignoring her.
She entered with him.
“Aren’t you glad to see your beautiful betrothed after two months?, Come on cherrie” she said, hu-gging him from behind.
He untangled her fingers and left her standing, entering the bathroom.
Maria left the room angrily and stormed into the royal cinema where queen Lucy is watching a royal soap opera.
“Your highness” she bowed with a sad face.
“Princess what’s wrong?, Heard your cherrie is back, shouldn’t you be happy?” Queen Lucy replied.
“He doesn’t look happy to see me, he only said hey and nothing more, he didn’t even look at me” she replied and Lucy smiled, standing gently.
“I told you to do all what you can to make him bow to your charms right?, Do it” she said .
Maria smiled and went back into Reid’s room.
He’s still in the shower so she took off everything she’s wearing including her pan-ties.
She slept on the bed and covered herself with the duvet.
Reid came out some minutes later in only his towel.
He didn’t notice Maria in bed so he started drying his body but Maria suddenly stood and pulled away his towel from behind.
His eyes wide-ned and he faced her but she was quick to pull him to her na-ked self.
“Fu-ck me, do it I’m all yours, you haven’t even tou-ched me since I got betrothed to you last year!, Your co-ck is as big as this yet you’re refusing to give it to me” she said, hu-gging his na-ked body.
Reid’s di-ck ru-bbed on her pu-ssy in the process and that made her crave badly for him.
“I hate girls who throw themselves at me” Reid replied and made to stand but she kizzed his li-ps.
Reid gave her a ha-rd pinch on her tummy and she quickly let go of him.
He stood and sli-pped on simple clothes then he left the room.
“Reid!!!’ Maria yelled, looking at her helplessly we-tcore.

“Merritt are to crazy?, You returned the black card?, Fu-ck you!, We could have visited England, you know how much I’ve always wanted to go to that country” Juliet said after Merritt told her the gist.
They’re both standing beside the counter, attending to customers.
Merritt isn’t staking out tonight and Gina is at home.
“What should I have done?, I’m a lady and I nee-d to form ha-rd to get, and apart from that, have you forgotten that I can’t date anyone who’s not Prince Reid?” Merritt replied and Juliet shook her head.
“I hope you don’t meet prince Reid till you grow old and toothless” she said.
“You wish” Merritt stick out her tongue.
“But how’s Megan Mel’s case going?, Her maid hasn’t been found?” Juliet suddenly asked.
“No, that maniac is still hiding, but detective Swan is in charge of the case, I know she’ll find a lead soon” Merritt replied

ROMEO’S ISLAND
After taking Venus round the island for close to an hour, Romeo came back home.
Venus is the name he gave to the dog.
He dropped her on the couch and bent beside her, stro-king it’s head, the cute white dog started waggling it’s tail happily.
Luckily, they liked each other fast.
“Should we eat a large meal for dinner tonight?” Romeo smiled, still stro-king it’s head.
Venus l-icked his face and he smiled again.
“She’s so cute”
He remembered when Juliet grabbed his @$$earlier and closed his eyes.
“That troublemaker, I don’t like her” he said to himself.
The ringing of his phone made him open his eyes.
“Yes Ben?”
“The writers get-together is next week, I just got the mail, it’s happening in England this time around” Ben said.
“I’m not gonna attend” Romeo replied and dropped the call.
What he experienced at the get-together last year, he seriously doesn’t want to experience it anymore.
He carried Venus and made his way to the kitchen.
“Dumb genius” he said, hu-gging Venus.

NEXT DAY≈JEWELL BOOKS
“Boss it’s time for the presentation” Ben said, opening the door to Romeo’s office.
“Did you send the summary to the editors?” He asked, standing up.
“You didn’t tell me to” Ben replied and Romeo remembered he actually hasn’t finished it.
“Shit!, I’m in for Mr Goldminner’s gibberish today” he said, regretting already.
“Juliet sent it yesterday” Lovelyn said, entering the office.
“It’s unfinished”
“I…. finished it” Juliet replied, coming in too.
No time to scold, Romeo left the office straight and they all followed him till they got to the presentation room where the editors are waiting.
They sat on a different angle in the room and Ben projected.
“Mr Romeo” Mr Goldminner said.
“Yes?” He replied.
“I think you should continue writing your summaries the way you wrote the one you submitted yesterday, I was swept off my feet when I finished reading it, it captured every part of the story and I couldn’t help but be marvelled” Mr Goldminner smiled.
“I’m proud of you Juliet” Lovelyn whispered to Juliet.
Romeo looked at Juliet and she smiled.
He started the presentation and everyone listened.
The interns jotted important things down while the editors corrected and made amends where it is to be made.
“Thanks for the great presentation Mr Romeo” everyone clapped as he brou-ght it to an end.
“The book is good to go and as usual, it’s the best, your fans will go crazy over the love story trust me” an editor said.
“Thanks” Romeo replied and the editors left first, he inhaled.
“Congratulations in advance boss” Lovelyn said cheerfully.
Romeo nodded.
“Congrats in advance…boss” Rhonda said and left.
“Let’s go” Lovelyn said to Juliet and led the way out.
“I’m sorry for submitting the summary without your permission, I just thought…
“Thanks” Romeo interrupted.
“Huh?”
“I don’t appreciate when people touch my things but it’s weird that I’m appreciating you, Mr Goldminner is difficult to satisfy so I’ve been avoiding any clash with him, he just said your summary is cool, I’m off the hook” he smiled.
“You’re smiling” Juliet said.
“Yes, it’s worth it” he replied, walking out of the room.
She packed her things and walked behind him.
He suddenly stopped and faced her , she bent back and he leaned in.
Her eyes wide-ned when he brou-ght his face to her right cheek.
“Thanks” he whispered in her ear and stood right.
He left without looking back and Juliet inhaled, touching her cheek.
“Why did he suddenly do that?” She thought, smiling as she walked back to the office.
“Why is Mr Salt not here yet?” She asked when she got in.
“He’ll be here tomorrow, heard it’s his girlfriend’s birthday party today” Lovelyn replied.
Juliet laughed loudly.
“He has a girlfriend?, I nee-d to tell this to Merritt” she said.
“You don’t know his girlfriend?, she’s a crossdresser like him” Lovelyn said.
“Carolyn?” Juliet said and Lovelyn nodded.
Juliet gasped.

Working hours ended by 7 and Lovelyn walked out of the company with Juliet, Justus car is already waiting.
“Wait… Are you sure you aren’t dating him?” Lovelyn asked.
“Why?” Juliet replied.
“I want you both to date, you both look too cute” Lovelyn winked and got herself a taxi.
She waved and left in the taxi.
“Crazy girl” Juliet giggled.
Justus winded down and Juliet smiled, walking to the car.
“Get in my car, I’ll give you a ride” Romeo said, coming out of the company.
Juliet stopped and looked at him surprisingly.
Justus came down from his car.
“Romeo” he smiled.
“I just offered you a ride” Romeo ignored him , facing Juliet.
“You don’t have to worry boss, I’ll just go with Justus” she smiled wanting to take another step to Justus but Romeo held her.
She looked at him.
“It’s an order, get in my car”
