Minutes later Veronica came out with Princess and Desmond was surprised with what he saw.
“Wow, he said getting up from Rachel mouth opened.
“What’s the problem?” Princess asked.
“You look so stunning and better dear. Thanks Veronica”, Desmond said.
“I didn’t do anything” Veronica said.
“But I think your presence did, she looks like the Princess I use to know can’t you see?” Desmond asked.
“Yea my friend will be fine, just give her some time. We’ll be going out and we need your permission please”, Veronica said.
“Its okay there’s no problem. Bye honey” Desmond said giving Princess a peck and watched her leave with Veronica smiling.
“You can eat her up with your smiles okay, go ahead”, Rachel angrily said to him.
“What’s wrong with smiling at my wife?” He asked and she scoffed.
“Here we go again with the my wife my wife blabbing. Bullshit”! Rachel said and left for her room.
“Did you just say bullshit! Desmond shouted on her…

Debbie was silent in the car as he drove, another call came on his phone and he picked it up, “yes, Gideon said.
“Yes I’m just back from seeing her mother, I noticed its going to be simple because her father is dead and she has no uncles. I’ll get the list from her mom next week but the preparation for the church wedding should be on, Its gonna be in a month time,” He later said.
“Yes make it simple but unique, I’ll call you back, bye”, Gideon said and dropped the call and looked at Debbie who looked away.
“I’m sorry okay, I didn’t mean to shout on you”, Gideon said but Debbie was quiet.
“Honey I said I’m sorry, that call was from an annoying dude I am trying to avoid. You know I’m driving and there are certain calls i shouldn’t attend to avoid mood swings”, He said and she looked at him.
“Then you should have just told me rather than shouting on me the way you did”, she said.
“That’s why I’m apologizing, seeing the call already got me angry and I couldn’t control it”, he said.
“Its alright, at least its a dude calling and not a lady”, she said with a frown which he laughed.
“I knew that was what you were thinking, you ladies will never change. OK to make my apology sweet we are going out, I’ll get you some wears okay”, he said touching her chin while she smiled.

Rachel dressed up and left the house while Desmond just looked at her saying nothing.
Reaching her place she called her mom bitterly complaining to her, “that woman is cooking her charm ha-rd mama and I think her friend is helping her out”, Rachel said.
“What charm again?” Her Mom asked.
“Earlier today i told you she pretended to be sick so she can have him. I played my own part and I had him for myself but then her friend visited, few minutes later she came out shining and more beautiful like nothing ever happened. Look at the way Desmond was so foolish when he saw her, ah mama I can’t stand her o her charm looks strong”, Rachel said.
“You are a very stupid girl. You and princess who is more beautiful and s-exy? Instead of you to dress up too and look beautiful you are here complaining rubbish. My friend cook your own charm strong too and win him, rubbish girl”, her mom said and dropped the call.
“You must be joking o, looks like You are no longer interested in me getting married to him again. Don’t worry I won’t ask for your help anymore, I’ll do it my own way”, she said and drove out.

Veronica took Princess out to her favorite boutique while Princess just shook her head not interested with what she’s seeing.
“Honey You are dulling my hand o, what’s the problem? You don’t like the clothes? Can we go for another?” Veronica asked.
“Nothing sis, clothes is not my problem I tell you the truth. You know very well I can go shopping anytime I want to, but in this case things are different. I so much appreciate you are trying to light up my mood or make me win my husband from that lady. But it won’t change the fact they will still get married when once my mother in law comes down, this clothes, makeup and seduction won’t help anything let’s just go please”, Princess said.
Veronica heaved and paid for the few wears she bought and Princess helped with the bags.
Going out of the boutique they met with Debbie holding hands with Gideon.
“Erm Honey can you wait for me inside i’ll be back soon” Debbie whispered to Gideon who nodded and got in.
Debbie walked up to them as they were about entering their car, “I can see you have finally delivered the bastard that made you almost kill me, and oh I was so right you had something to do with what happened to me because i can clearly recognize this bi-tch ! But don’t worry I’ve let your half baked and shameless husband for you because I’ll soon be getting married to mine who is far better than him. Have fun and know that I’ll get back for you two, Debbie never forgets” She shouted and left while they just looked at themselves.
“Isn’t that Gideon? What is he doing with her?” Princess asked while Veronica just shook her head and got into the car.

Veronica got home and soon Her husband car drove in. She heaved and dropped her boy upstairs and came down to see her daughters helping Matthew out of the car with a crying face.
She rushed out immediately and held him, “what happened to him?” She asked.
“We were eating and he suddenly said his stomach hurts”, Joy replied.
“Should i take you to the hospital?” She asked him but he shook his head.
“Take me in first”, he slowly said and she called out to the gateman for help.
“Uncle can you please check in the car there’s something there” Joy said to the gateman and he quickly left to check it out.
“I’ll get you a glas-sof water then, but are You sure you are fine? Let’s go to the hospital please”, Veronica said scared.
“Please just say you love me just one more time”, he said.
“What are you saying? I’ll call the doctor immediately” she said and wanted to leave but he held her.
“Please just do it” he slowly said with his eyes closing.
“Mommy please say It, her children chorused while she looked at them confused with such a drama.
“OK fine i love you Matthew, can i call the doctor now?” She asked and Matthew smiled getting on his knees and brou-ght out a rose flower he hid at his back.
She turned to see her daughters laughing at her as she stood surprised, “so this was a big joke huh? She asked.
“I love you too sweetheart, please I want to renew the vows we did again, I broke it at first but i am ready to start over to show how much i love you. Please forgive me sweetheart, I’m sincerely sorry” Matthew said.

“OK its fine, I’ve forgiven you. I think I should do this for my children”, Veronica said.
“Thank you, thank you so much. You don’t know how happy I am to hear you say that” Matthew said getting up and hu-gged her.
“Now save my daughters from being drama queens”, Veronica said smiling..
“We are beginning to see our talents” Joy replied.
“Oh no I know you two are far better than this. Thanks for being such a darling” Veronica said hugging her children.

Princess arrived home and found her husband helping himself with a glas-sof wine, “chilling alone without company?” She asked.
“Yea as you can see, please join me, he said.
“No thank you, I’ll just take my rest now”, she said.
“Honey, are you avoiding me?” He asked.
“I didn’t say so, I just want to take my rest that’s all” she said.
“But we can have a glas-sfirst before you leave, please” he insisted and poured the wine into another gla-ss.
“Fine just a glas-sthen” , she said and sat with him getting the glas-sfrom him.
“I just want you to know that nothing will ever change between us” he slowly said.
“Just stop it, don’t say what you are not certain you will keep. We both know who will stand a better chance in the end and I’m beginning to accept my fate” Princess said and gulped in the whole wine, dropped the glas-sand left for her room..

Debbie arrived with Gideon and saw Prisca was not at home, “where will she go to?” Gideon asked.
“Her mom place of course, are you leaving now?” She asked.
“Yes, I’ll see you later okay, he said and pecked her.
“Wait, what are we going to do about the preparations? Or when will I visit your family? She asked and he smiled.
“In two days time, and for the preparations I have someone handling that. Its going to be simple but memorable okay”, He said and she nodded slowly.
“As long as its going to be a wedding that’s fine by me” Debbie said and hu-gged him and he left.
She fell on the bed happily checking the time to see its getting late already,
“soon I’ll be married just like that, I can’t still believe this is happening to me. Prisca and my mom will be here preaching heaven and earth to me, now who is getting married first? They don’t know even the bible says “its not he that runneth or willeth but the God that show-eth mercy”. They judged me all and wrote me off but God will surprise them soon, I’ll be Mrs to a rich handsome dude soon”! She shouted alone in the room covering her face happily with her pillow.

Rachel arrived at a place and met an old man covered with white beards. She carefully told him her troubles while he smiled shaking his head,
“so what do you want me to do? He asked.
“I want to be the only one Desmond will love, I want this Princess of a woman to be totally out of his heart totally if possible let her die”, Rachel said.
“So in summary you want her to die ba? Be very clear and stop mixing words here”, the man said while she scratched her head.
“Erm if that is the best and the ideal thing to do so Desmond will only see me in his life” she said and he laughed hard.
“You will pay, he said.
“Ahh any amount I’m ready, just name the price but I hope I won’t be implicated, Rachel said.

That night Veronica relocated to her husband room, as they cuddled themselves on the bed she remembered something.
“I saw your baby girl and it looks like she’s about to get married” she said.
“My baby girl?” Matthew asked.
“Your once upon a time baby girl, you should know” she replied and he heaved.
“If she’s getting married then good for her, please end of that discussion, let’s talk about us”, he said holding her tight.
“There’s nothing to talk about us, she said.
“OK let’s talk about our son, gotten a Name yet? He asked.
“Many, she replied.
“Many? Wow we’ll manage just five for him alone, what do you think?” He asked and Veronica laughed..

Rachel returned home late in the night and found Desmond awake waiting for her, “where are you coming back from? You were not at home and you were not picking your calls either why?” He asked.
“Don’t tell me you are such a boring monitoring spirit. I just needed space that’s it” she replied.
“Space? What’s up with all this attitude? Its stinks and it doesn’t suit you either” Desmond shouted on her and walked away leaving her swelling in anger.
“We will see how ha-rd it stinks” She shouted back.

Gideon settled with his friends drinking and they still couldn’t believe that he’s getting married soon.
“But you and Kemi just had a little fight bar-ely 2 weeks ago, I mean how will she receive such a news that you’re getting married? You bar-ely know this girl dude”, one of them said.
“If its about this Kemi talk please don’t go there. And if its about me getting married I know what I’m doing, you should know marriage is one of the least thing on my mind now”, Gideon replied.
“Now that’s the point, why are you getting married to her? Can you just give us a little hint and let’s see how we can help out? Remember we are friends o and keeping us in the dark is not fair at all” another guy said and Gideon heaved looking at them.
“Fine, its a secret that we all need to be careful. I know it won’t sound good but I need to do this, Gideon said and closely whispered something to them.
“And you wanted doing it alone? But isn’t it too risky? His friend asked.
“Who among them is in the risky side? Another asked.
“Guy don’t worry, everything is settled but what will you do about Kemi? I know you still love her and you can’t deny it, his friend said and Gideon was quiet..

Prisca arrived home and Debbie quickly broke the news to her, “you see, everything is going so smoothly. So will you be my chief bride maid?” Debbie asked and Prisca scoffed.
“Why choosing me? She asked.
“Well consider that as a privilege” , Debbie replied and Prisca smiled.
“Did you just say privilege? Wow that’s interesting, now if you don’t mind i want to sleep”, Prisca said and changed up immediately to retire to bed.
“Your jealousy of course won’t help, when you change your mind just let me know okay but don’t let it be too late”, Debbie said..

The next day Gideon woke up with a knock on his door, he opened up to see Kemi standing looking at him.
“What do you want? He asked.
“Won’t you let me in at least?” She asked and he shook his head while she made her way in.
“What are you doing here?” He asked after closing the door.
“Was it that easy to replace me?” She asked.
“I don’t still get it, how did you know? He asked.
“I know everything, she replied.
“Wow that’s good you do, now why are you here? Do you want to be officially invited huh?” He asked and she smiled.
“You and I know you can’t get married, even if you do it won’t be this early or quick when we just recently broke up”, she said.
“Is that really what you think? I can settle with anyone I want to and that shouldn’t be your business” he said.
“You know you are wrong, in fact everything is wrong. I didn’t do what you are accusing me of and I can’t kill myself to prove to you that I am innocent. I thought you knew me too well, but sadly you cheaply fell for the lies and I had to let go. Seeing you getting married soon is quite shocking but I can see you’re serious about it, well I think I should wish you good luck”, Kemi said while Gideon just looked at her saying nothing.
“Well I just came to say good luck and happy married life in advance since you can’t say anything, bye” she said and wanted to leave but he held her back.
“I’m not really getting married as you think, but I have to do this” he said.
“I don’t understand, she calmly said.
“Yea somehow you won’t because its complicated, and I don’t want to back off now”, he said and sat down covering his head while she sat beside him.
“You know you can tell me what’s going on, I may help” she said touching him.
“You know Deborah did something unforgivable to Kingsley who relocated to another city, despite all that guy did for her yet she dumped him badly. I wasn’t concerned with that anyway, but she became the reason for my aunt maltreatment in her home. Her marriage was almost gone and you know how much I love my aunt, that fell when we started having issues and in that anger I decided to use her as an escape goat to ease my pain. I went to her friend first hoping I can use her to get close but fortunately for her friend she didn’t fell but Debbie cheaply did. She’s just a foolish human being and I want to teach her a small lesson, she didn’t think twice getting married to a stranger despite her mom and friend advice because she’s blinded with money. Its crazy right?” He asked.
“Indeed it is, you’ll be tightening a knot for a revenge course? Common Gideon there are better ways to handle this” Kemi said.
“I am tightening no knot with her, everything will be nothing but fake and she won’t notice it. For her she’s married but for me we are not because it will all be fake, when she gets to realize this and taste the pain she put my aunt in, it will be too late for her that’s it” Gideon said.
“That is too heartless, what will people say?” Kemi asked.
“Who cares about what people will say? He asked.
“Of course I do! You can be arrested for this”, Kemi said and he burst out laughing.
“Seriously? Me arrested like you don’t know my dad? Oh please say something better besides this is all a game to me and I didn’t force her in it,” he said.
“Gideon you know I won’t agree to this, if you want this revenge there are ways to do it without you getting married falsely”, she said.
“You seriously don’t know this girl, I want to break her wings to the last and make her forever broken. Imagine she saw my aunt yesterday and I heard what she told her, that gave me a better reason to go on with this and I am not backing down”, He said.
“Is there anything i can do to make you change your mind about this? Or are you doing this out of anger because of what happened to us? Your aunt is back to her home right? please drop this, it will still hurt her” Kemi said.
“She won’t learn a lesson Kemi, I have read her like a book and I know how strong headed she is. She broke up with my aunt husband and she fell for me the next day like nothing happened, if I call this off trust me she won’t feel it. I want to break her to the last” he said.
“What If you eventually fall in love with her?” Kemi asked.
“Fall in love? Do I look like I have a heart now? Don’t even go there” he said getting up from where he sat.
“So what about us? Sorry I don’t need to ask that seeing your quest is this hectic and you don’t have a heart now as you say, but I can’t tell how long this will last or will it be forever?” Kemi asked and he heaved.
“Can you give me a little space, I wasn’t given time to think straight when I ventured into this. But the truth still remains that i miss you”, Gideon said and she smiled.
“That’s a relief you know” , she said and hu-gged him.
“Just bear with me for now, I’ll come back for you okay, he said to her.
“I will, now just take care and be careful okay, she said but he nodded and ki-ssed her.
“Does that mean we are back? She asked.
“Take it as you want, I think you have to go now she’ll be on her way here”, he said and she rolled her eyes.
“Yea yea I understand, but don’t forget to hint me about the date okay so I’ll get a gift for you” she said going out and he laughed.
“I’ll be expecting a new car from you then, he replied..

Princess woke up quite early and prepared something for Desmond seeing that he had a fight with Rachel last night.
“Thank you, but you shouldn’t have bothered you know, Desmond said when she served him.
“Its nothing, just hurry up and eat and solve whatever differences you have with her. Its too young to start having a fight you know”, Princess said and Rachel pa-ssed them without saying a word to them and Desmond heaved seeing that.
“I’ll be in the room, Princess said and left.
Rachel went to the kitchen and saw the food Princess prepared, “this must be the one she kept for herself, she whispered and poured in the substance the old man gave to her last night.
She came out with a glas-sof juice and attempted to pas-sbut Desmond called her which she stopped.
“Though we had a fight, courtesy still demands you should give me that respect at least. Is this how You are going to behave when we get married? I have never been disrespected this way” Desmond said.
“You were busy with your wife and I didn’t want to disrupt your discussion with her”, she replied.
“A good morning won’t disrupt any discussion, I thought you had manners”, he said and she looked at him.
“That’s enough please because its too early for this. Good morning Desmond and I’ll be leaving for my place soon, I think i dropped my manners there,” she said and left while Desmond shook her head.

Veronica saw the gate opened and was so happy when her mom car drove in.
“Joy, Marvel grand mom is here” , Veronica shouted on her kids who ran down immediately.
Matthew got up but Veronica stopped him, “go ahead with your food please, you’re running late”, she said.
“No please let the food wait, let’s go” he said and they went out together.
“Oh my God you two are looking so big” ! Theresa said carrying her grand children up.
“Yes grandma, daddy and mommy has make up finally” Marvel reported and Matthew calmly greeted her which she nodded.
“That’s good to know” , she said and Veronica hu-gged her.
“Welcome ma, i thought you’ll never reach here again” Veronica said.
“Is there anything that can separate me from my children? Please let’s go in joor” Theresa said laughing as Matthew helped with what she came with..

Rachel left the house before Desmond could finish eating.
Few hours later her mom arrived thinking she was at home.
“Where’s my daughter? Why are just driving her away this way?” Susan asked ignoring Princess greeting.
“Ma I didn’t do anything to her, she left on her own” Princess replied but she took her phone and called Rachel to meet her immediately at home and dropped the call before Rachel could say anything.
“What will you like to take ma?” Princess asked.
“Give me food, can’t you see i am hungry? Susan asked and Princess nodded and left to dish the food she left for herself.
