I just had to come to the dinner or else my mom will keep telling me how i have feelings for Daniel,am just talk for a little while then leave.
“Good evening, everyone”I said while Kris walked towards me. “I thought you weren’t coming”She said.
“Well,i changed my mind”I said looking around,my eyes locked with Daniel’s eyes so i looked away.
“Come on, everyone, let’s have dinner”Mr mendes said.
We went to the dinning ateay, everyone took a seat,i was about to sit down when Daniel brou-ght out the chair for me.
“Here,have your seat”He said smiling at me,What is wrong with him today?
I sat down and he put the chair inside properly,then he sat down beside me.

Gosh, she’s so beautiful,thank goodness Chantel isn’t here or else she would be. A pain in the n£¢k. She’s avoiding eye contact with me but I just have to talk to her.
“So Kylie,tell us how’s work?”My mom asked. “It’s stressful sometimes but it’s good and i love what i do”Kylie said smiling.
“You and Austin seem to be really close”My dad said. “Yeah,he’s such an amazing person”She said and i rolled my eyes. Amazing person my foot.
“Austin and Kylie are really close and he treats her like a queen unlik some people”Kris said and i knew she was talking about me. She doesn’t like me at all.

Kris has started again, she’s gonna start ma-king rude comments.
“Well, that’s nice”Mr Mendes said. “Kris,you look so much like your sister”Mrs Mendes said smiling.
“Well,yeah,we are siblings,duh”She said rolling her eyes. “Behave yourself”My mom whispered to her.
We were talking about different things but i could feel Daniel boring holes in my b©dy with his eyes.
“Kylie,we would go swimming this weekend”Paris said smiling.
“Um..no,my sister won’t be available this weekend,she won’t join you for anything”Kris said rudely.
“Kris,you don’t seem to like us very much”Mr Mendes said while Kris rolled her eyes.
“Yes,i don’t like you all especially that di-ckhead over there”Kris said pointing at Daniel,oh this girl.
“Kris, that’s enough”Nina said but she scoffed. “No,Nina,this guy is the reason Kylie cried,he used her and hurt my sister’s feelings,he’s just an arrogant j£rk”She said with so much anger.
“Kris, that’s enough”I said. “Kris,keep your mouth shut”My mom said sternly.
‘Okay,fine,but i rather get knocked down by a bus than to sit with these people”She said and walked away.
“I will go after her”Nina said and walked away. “plea-se forgive me for her actions, she’s just 17 and a little rude”My mom said.
“It’s okay, she’s just angry”Mr Mendes said.
The driver took Kris back homr because she insisted on going back. We were throu-gh with dinner,My mom and Daniel’s parents were busy talking and laughing while Nina and Austin were somewhere in the garden,Paris went to her room to get something.
I was at the balcony looking at the bright stars when i left the pres£nce of someone.
“The stars are beautiful”I heard him say,his footsteps bec@m£ louder as he walked closer.
“But they are not as beautiful as you are”He said and i rolled my eyes.
“What do you want and where is your little fluzzy Chantel?”i asked while he chuckled. “Let’s not talk about her, let’s talk about you and me”He said and i scoffed.
“You and me? What’s there to talk about?”I asked looking away. “Alot, Kylie,alot,I know i hurt you really bad,i know i used you, pla-yed with your feelings,you can call me whatever you want,an idiot,a fool, j£rkface,i know i acted stupidly but am sorry,am truly sorry, believe me”He said starring at me intensely,i looked into his eyes and i could see the sincerity in it,i don’t know what to think again,he hurt me so bad,i can’t forgive him just like that.
“Daniel,i think….” . “Sorry to interrupt but Kylie, Mom said that it’s time to go”Nina said. “Okay, let’s go”I said and walked away.

We got home from the Mendes house and i could tell Kylie was deeo in thought,i saw how Kylie got hee heartbroken by Daniel so i don’t want the same thing to happen to me.
Mason asked me out but i declined,am just scared,i don’t want to get hurt at all.
“Why did you do that?”Mom asked Kris immediately we walked in. “Do what, mom?”She asked still concentrating on the TV.
“Behave so rudely to the Mendes family”Mom said. “I only spoke my mind,mom,i don’t like them and i never will”Kris said firmly.
“Kris,i know Daniel hurt me but that doesn’t mean you can just be disrespecting them”Kylie said
“So you have forgiven him,you have forgiven daniel”She asked. “What are you talking about?”Kylie asked while Kris scoffed.
“He was acting like a gentle man at the dinner,he was just doing that to get you again”Kris said.
“And why are you saying all these things?”I asked her.
“Because while Daniel was acting all nice,his parents were planning gis wedding to Chantel”Kris said and i could see the shock on Kylie’s face.
“What do you mean by that?”Mom asked confused. “Am saying the truth, Daniel is getting married to Chantel,i overheard his parents dicussing it,in three months Daniel will be married to Chantel, Kylie,Daniel doesn’t deserve you,he’s a j£rk,the person that is perfect for you is Austin,he loves you and he will take perfect care of you, Kylie, it’s time to move on”Kris said while Kylie just walked away.

“So what did she say?”Mason asked while sipping from his drink. “Well,she was still angry at me,we didn’t get to talk much”I said
“Don’t worry,she will come around”Mason said and i sighed.

I was going some files in my office,gosh am so tired. I heard a knock on my door.
“Come in”I said and Daniel walked in holding a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates.
“Hey, beautiful”He said and sat down in front of me. “What..what are you doing here?”I asked clearly surprised.
“To invite you for a lunch d@t£”he said. “Am not interested in your petty little d@t£”I said and he chuckled.
“I also bought you roses and chocolate”he said pushing it towards me. “I don’t nee-d them” I said rolling my eyes.
“Look, Kylie,am trying to make up for what i did, Kylie,am in love with you,i have always been in love with you,i just let my stupidity get the best of me”He said and i started laughing.
“You love me?Daniel,did you just say you love me?”i asked still laughing.
“Yes,i do,i really do”he said and i scoffed. “How can a man who is about to get married have feelings for another woman?”I asked and i saw the shock on his face.
“Who..who told you?”He asked. “That doesn’t matter”I said. “Kylie, it’s not what it seems”He said trying to hold my hands but i quic-kly resisted.
“It’s not always what it seems”i said then Austin walked in. “Um.. sorry,am i interrupting something?”He asked glaring at Daniel.
“No,you are not,Austin, Daniel was just leaving”I said and gave Daniel a glare. “So are you re-ady for our lunch d@t£?”Austin asked and i smiled at him.
“Of course, let’s go,am so hungry”i said and he chuckled. He held my hands and i saw Daniel look away,he stood up and walked away.

“Oh gosh,am so happy, Daniel will be mine”I said and jumped in excitement. “Yes, sister, we are going to be rich”Gigi said and we started laughing.
I was about to take my stick of cigarettes when Daniel walked in angrily. “Hunnie,you are here?” I asked and walked towards him. He pu-ll-ed my arm angrily.
“Ouch,you are hurting me”i said in pain. “Why did you tell Kylie that we were getting married?”he asked in anger.
“Daniel,st©p hurting her, she’s pregnant”Gigi said,Daniel left my arm. “If Kylie knows,is that a problem?”I asked.
“That’s my problem,you think am happy getting married to you, am not”He said and i laughed.
“There’s no way out of this”I said and he walked away,i and Gigi started laughing.

I and Kylie were at a restaurant but she wasn’t concentrating on the food.
“Are you okay?”I asked and she looked at me then back at her food. “Am fine,why are you asking?”She asked.
“Well,you haven’t t©uçhed your food”I said and she sighed. “What did Daniel tell you?”I asked and she scoffed.
“He told me that he loves me and that he’s sorry”She said and i sighed.
“Do you believe him?”I asked and she shrugged. “I don’t know what to believe”She said,i hate seeing Kylie like this, she’s too precious to be worried about that j£rk.
“Well,i know one thing you should believe “I said and she looked at me. “And what’s that?”She asked,i held her hands.

“That am in love with you”Austin said and i heard a loud ban-g in my head. Austin has been extra nice to me but am not in love with him,i also don’t want to hurt his feelings.
“Austin,i..i don’t know what to say”I stuttered. “Just say anything”He said and i sighed.
“Austin,we have been veey close lately but i don’t think i want to start any relationsh!p”I said avoiding his gaze.
“It’s okay,i just wanted you to know , you are an amazing woman and it wasn’t so ha-rd to fall for you”He said.
There was an awkward slience for sometime, I wish i could love Austin but i can’t,i hope he finds someone who loves him

“Who told her?”Mason asked after hearing what happened between i and Kylie. “I guess it’s Chantel,that bit-ch”I said angrily.
“You have to get Kylie back,keep going to her”Mason said and i sighed. “She seems so close to Austin”I said and Mason scoffed.

It’s been a week now and Daniel keeps coming to my office to drop flowers, Chocolate all the time. I have been trying to avoid him but somehow we keep meeting.
“Look what i have”Nina said as she walked in with a box of chocolates. “Nina,why did you take that,you could have thrown it in the garbage”I said and she rolled her eyes.
‘But the chocolate is sweet ,i can’t let it go to waste”She said taking a bite of the chocolate.
“I don’t know what to do to make him st©p”I said. “Just talk to him, listen to what he has to say”Nina said and i scoffed.
“I know what he wants to say,that he loves me and all those bloody lies”I said. “It’s not a lie,he loves you,you just nee-d to open yout heart”Nina said and i chuckled.
“This advise is coming from someone who rejected a guy that loves her so much”I said and she looked away.
“Mine is different”She said and i rolled my eyes. “Yes, it’s different,Mason loves you so much,at least there’s no w*tch like Chantel trying to take him”I said and she giggled.
“So you think i should accept him?”She asked. “No, what you should do is to go over to see him,jump on him and give him a k!ssand probably the best se-x ever’I said and we started laughing.

Nina is so lucky, Mason really loves her unlike me.

“How about i take you shopping after work?”He asked ma-king me giggle. “You know i can’t say no to shopping”I said ma-king both of us laugh.
“Great,so are you done here?”He asked and i nodded affrimatively.
We were still talking when i saw Daniel walking towards us, Austin hasn’t seen him. Why does always have to come here?
As he was coming closer,i gr@bb£d Austin by the collar and k!$$£d him,at first he was surprised but he started k!ss!ngme back,he pu-ll-ed me closer by the w@!st and k!ss!ngme dee-per, Daniel walked in and saw us,his expression changed.
I pu-ll-ed away from the k!ss, looking at Austin who was also looking at me.
“Daniel,what are you doing here?I asked looking at him. “I..i c@m£ to talk to you”He said glaring at Austin.
“I will leave you two to talk”Austin said and walked away.
“So you two are d@t!ngnow?”He asked and I looked away. “How many times have i told you not to come here?”i asked ignoring his question.
“I thought you would agree on a lunch d@t£ with me”He said and i sighed. “Daniel,you are about to get married, why are you doing this to yourself”I said.
“Am trying to make a chance for us”he said and i scoffed. “Us? There is no us,you made that very clear when you said those horrible things to me”I said and he sighed.
“Am sorry i c@m£ here,i shouldn’t have,i will never come here to see you,Guess this is goodbye”He said and walked away.

I walked into the living room very happy,Nina finally accepted to be mine and am so happy.
I saw Daniel with a bottle of whiskey in his hands.
“What happened?”I asked walking towards him. “I saw her k!ss!ngAustin”He said almost in tears. “She doesn’t love me,i tried but she doesn’t love me”He said drinking from his bottle.
“Did you at least talk to her?”I asked and he chuckled. ‘i did,she said she doesn’t want me to come and see her, Mason,i give up,Am just gonna get married to Chantel and be unhappy the rest of my life”He said and i sighed sadly.

After that k!ssi and Kylie shared,she bec@m£ distant with me but i finally spoke to her, I know she only k!$$£d me so that Daniel could leave her alone
Kylie loves Daniel, it’s in her eyes, it’s so sad they can’t be together.
Two weeks past and itvwas finally time for the wedding of Daniel and Chantel.

Today is the day i finally get to die inside for the rest of my life. Getting married to someone i don’t love, it’s all my fault and am paying for my mistake.
This might be a wedding to everyone but it’s a burial to me, it’s the death of my happiness.

We stayed like that for a while before i decided to go downstairs.

The door bell rang,Kris ran into the living room. “I will get it”She said opening the door,she g@sps in surprise.

I walked down the aisle with my father, everyone stood up to welcome me, I could see Daniel at the aisle not so happy but who cares,he’s mine alre-ady,no,his wealth is mine alre-ady. I defeated that stupid bit-ch called Kylie.
I finally got to where the priest was and my dad left me, the ceremony began and i was so happy.
” We are gathered here today to witness the joining of Chantel and Daniel to become one”The priest said, I looked at Daniel and he was so sad.
“Now,do you Chantel take Daniel here to be your lawfully wedded husband,to be with him in sickness and in health,for better and for worse,till death do you ap@rt?”He asked and i smiled.

Daniel looked at his parents, then back at me,i could tell he was so nervous and sad.

“Young lady, plea-se continue”I said amd she nodded. “I was about to serve you and Miss Kylie your drink when Chantel over here called me and asked me to give you a p@rticular drink she was holding,she told me it was especially for you and i just believed her,i gave it you to yoh,when you drank from it, you went upstairs with Kylie, that’s all i saw that day but what am trying to say is that Chantel spiked your drink”She said ma-king everyone murmur looking ay Chantel.
“That’s not true, she’s lying,i never did that”Chantel said. “St©p lying and tell us the truth”Mason said.
“TELL US THE TRUTH,YOU WITCH!!”I yelled ma-king her flin-ch back in fear.
“Okay,Fine,yes i spiked Daniel’s drink,i did it so that he and Kylie would finally. separate,she was in the way of my plans”She said.
“What plans?”My dad asked. “I wanted to take all Daniel’s property,his money, everything so I put some substance into his drink ma-king him unaware of his surrounding,we sle-pt together but before that I made him say alot of horrible things about Kylie and recorded it on my phone,when Daniel kicked me out,i knew i had to do something to pin him down for life so i faked the pregnancy”She said alre-ady crying
Everyone was beyond shocked,i know Chantel of being wicked but not to this extent.
“So Chantel,you were not pregnant?”Mrs Montez, Chantel’s mom asked.
“We believed your every word,how could you be this evil?”Mr Montez asked ma-king Chantel laugh.
“Say whatevee you want,i don’t care,i threatened the Mendes’s family doctor that’s why he brou-ght the fake pregnancy report,am not pregnant,i can’t even get pregnant,i have no wo-mb,i got rid of it a long time ago”She said and her mom fainted.

Kylie’s Father tied us up and started beating is with a horse wh!p,am so weak and in pain,he R@p£d Aunt in front of us.
“That’s what you all get for running away”He said and laughed. “Dad,you are monster”Kris said and he wh!pped her facd with the wh!pma-king her scream.
“Uncle, st©p plea-se,am begging You”I said crying while he started laughing.
He carried Kylie and started going upstairs to one of the rooms.
“Let me go,let me go, plea-se’Kylie screamed. I have to do something or else he will kill Kylie,i have to get hold of my phone.

After Chantel told us she had no wo-mb,Paris jumped on her and started beating the life out of her,i separated her from Chantel.
“You all should get yourself out of here, there will be no wedding”My dad said.
Everyone started leaving one by one until the church was empty.”Am so sorry on behalf of Chantel”Mr Montez said.
“It’s okay,just take them and leave”My mom said.

I used my last strength to free myself,Aunt and Kris were unconscious,i picked up my phone and called the cops first before calling Mason.
I could hear Uncle beating Kylie with a wh!p,i crawled upstairs to save her but i tr!pp£dand fell down the stairs ma-king pas-s out

I sat down trying to process what happened when my Parents walked up to me.
“It’s over,that witch fooled us all”My mom said. “The battle isn’t over”My dad said and i looked at him. “It isn’t?”I asked.
“No,you have to go get the love of your life”My mom said and i smiled and hvgged them both
Suddenly Mason ran up to me worried. “What’s wrong, Mason?”I asked as i saw his worried face.
“It’s about Nina and Kylie,Nina called me and when i answered i could hear screaming in the background,all Nina said was help me then the line went dead”He said then i bec@m£ worried.
“We have to go to her house,NOW”I said then I and Mason ran out of the church.
