It was the weekend and we were getting re-ady for the dinner p@rty with the business p@rtner.
“Am re-ady”Kylie said as she stepped into my room.

We got downstairs and the p@rtners started coming little by little.

I was alre-ady getting bored of staying with them,i wish Nina was here.
“Daniel,am going to the bathroom”
I went to the bathroom to clear my head.
Few minutes later,i c@m£ downstairs and saw Daniel talking to a guy but i couldn’t see the guy’s face, they were laughing together.
The guy turned around and i saw his face clearly..Oh my Goodness,this can’t be happening,it can’t be him,it just can’t be him.
“Babe,meet Jamil,the owner of the company we are p@rtnering with” Daniel said
I looked at Jamil then back at Daniel,i smiled nervously.
“Um..he..hey, am Kylie, Daniel’s Girlfriend”
“I know,he wouldn’t keep quiet about you” Jamil said
Oh,God,that explains it,Palm springs,it was Jamil that s£nt those chocolate.
Throu-gh out the dinner,i could feel Jamil starring at me.

The dinner was over and the p@rtners left.
“Danny, there is something i nee-d to tell you” Kylie said as she walked in.

“It’s about Jamil”

“Palm Springs? What’s that?”
“It’s a restaurant named Palm Springs, that’s where i and Jamil first met”
“But why would he s£nd you those chocolate if he knows that you are taken”
“Maybe he doesn’t know”
“Come on,Ky, everyone in the business world knows you and i are a couple”
“I just have to talk to him,he and I broke up on mutual basis,he was actually my first love and he was the that took my..”
“I don’t want to hear it,why didn’t you tell me when he was here?”

“I don’t think? There is a possibility that Jamil still loves you and am not letting him take you away, infact am cancelling our contract”

“Are you feeling insecure?” Mason asked.

I let Kylie meet up with Jamil, they would only talk, that’s all but if Jamil thinks he can keep seeing my woman,i deal with him so bad.
“You shouldn’t have let her go on her own”Paris said as she walked in.
“I didn’t,i s£nt one of my drivers to follow her secretly,so if anything happens he should inform me”

“You look really different”Jamil said and i laughed.
“In a good way or bad way?”
“Good, obviously,you are so gorgeous”
“Thanks,um..i found out that you were the one that s£nt those chocolate”

“The Palm Springs”
“Yeah,it was the restaurant we first met,it bec@m£ a special place for us”

It’s been a week now and Jamil issue has been forgotten,i don’t want him near Kylie and i told him very clearly.
“Babe,how many kids would you love to have?” I asked
It was night time and we were cudd-ling in my be-d.

“3 boys? I don’t want to have 3 boys, 3 girls is better”

After she left,her phone started ringing,i ignored it but it kept on ringing again.
Who is calling so late at night?
I checked and it was Jamil, what’s this bastard calling,i was about to pick it when Kylie Walked in with a bag of ch!ps.
“Is that my phone?”She asked as she dropped the ch!ps on the table.
“Yes and guess who is calling you this late, it’s Jamil”
“Jamil?”
“Yes, it’s him and you even saved his number with a love emoji”
“I didn’t save it,he must have saved it on my phone when we met at the mall”
You met him at the mall, when was that and why did you not tell me?”
“It was yesterday,it just skipped my mind and besides it’s not like we planned it,we just bu-mped into each other”

“You forbid me? Daniel, you are just being paranoid and jealous”

I saw tears stream down her cheek,i forgot she hates being yelled at.

I woke up the next day and i didn’t see Daniel beside me,i only saw a note.
“Sorry,babe,i had a urgent meeting at the office”
Today’s Saturday, the meeting must be really urgent because Daniel doesn’t like working on weekends.

I was in a restaurant waiting for Jamil,i called him over because i have something important to tell him.
I saw him heading towards my table.
“Good Morning” he said and sat down.

“So why did you call me over?”

“It’s about Kylie,i want you to stay far away from her, she’s mine and i don’t mess around with what’s mine. I don’t like all those meet ups you two do”
“We don’t meet up, it’s just a coincidence that we are at the same place”
“I don’t give a fv¢k about coincidence,stay away from my woman,if you see her just leave,i don’t want you to breathe the same air she breaths”

I walked out on him,He shouldn’t even try to talk to Kylie.

“You two fought?” I asked clearly surprised.
“Yeah,but we sorted everything out”
“It’s all Jamil’s fault,why is he calling you so late?”
“I have no idea and besides Daniel gets so jealous easily and when he’s jealous,he gets angry and starts saying rude things”
“So you have to stay away from Jamil,if he’s being a threat to your relationsh!pwith Daniel,then block him off”
“You are right..so how are you and Mason?”
“Good, very good actually but he’s outta town and i miss him so much” i said ma-king Kylie laugh.

I hate the fact that I and Kylie fought all because of my jealousy so am gonna get her something nice.
I got to her house and her mom opened the door.

I went up to her room and knocked,she opened.
“Hey,you didn’t tell me you were coming”

I wore it for her and it was really beautiful on her ankle.

This past weeks, Kylie and i have been spending time together.
It was a Saturday morning and Kylie was around,we were about to watch a movie but Kylie was all up on her phone all day.
“Babe, the movie is about to start” i said and she only nodded.

“Um..yeah,yeah” She said still smiling at her phone.
“Here,take your drink”
I pas-sed the drink and she stretched ou her hand, she’s still looking at her phone when the drink fell down and spilled on the floor.
“Oh goodness, sorry Daniel” she said trying to pick up the drink.
“You know this wouldn’t have happened if you had only st©pped looking at your phone for just one second”
“I know,am really sorry,babe”
“Who are you even texting that has all your attention,you seem to be so involved in the messages that you keep smiling and laughing, it’s Jamil, right?”
“Seriously,are we gonna start fighting about Jamil?”
“Yes, because i don’t un-derstand why you are so involved in your phone recently,maybe he’s telling you sweet things to win you back and judging from your laughter,it seems to be working”
“Why would i ever go back to Jamil when i love you?”
“Same thing Chantel said”
“Are you comparing me to Chantel, are you seriously doing that?”
“She also cheated on me and Jamil is your first love so i don’t see you won’t feel somehow attra-cted to him and..”
Before i could finish,she sl@pped me,she was alre-ady crying.
“I hate you” She said and tried to walk away but she st©pped and faced me.
“For your information,i was texting Nina,she was telling me something funny that’s why i laughed but since you think such nas-ty things about me,i shouldn’t be here”
She left and i angrily smashed a vase on the wall.
