“Lucian, c’mon… Tell the f*vking power to get the hell away from you! I need you here, Lucian. You can’t just leave me alone and go. C’mon, tell off the rubbish enchantment.”she yelled hysterically, sobs emitting from her voice as she throwed herself into Luciano’s arm.

A gasp escaping her li-ps as the fire starts to burn her shirt…

Roselia majestically walked out of the cla-ssroom, flunging the door back closed as she cat walked to the scene with a smile on her face.

She stopped a little distance away and a smirk crept up on her face when she saw Sabrina hugging him so tight against her body.

“Lucian, it hurts.”Sabrina cried on his shoulder, the fire burning up her shirt bit by bit.

Luciano went rigid, the anger slowly seeping away from his body system as he heard Sabrina’s sob. His anger starts to ease away, likewise the fire on both of his palms.

Three seconds… Two seconds…

“Geez Luciano, get more angry…”Roselia stomped on her foot repeatedly, a city building into her nerves as the time ticked.

One second… Time up!

Roselia froze, her face flaring red in anger as the fire was suddenly quenched and turns into bits of smoke which dissipate into the thin air in no time.

Luciano felt relieved immediately whilst Sabrina snapped her closed teary eyes open, drawing away from Luciano and looking down at his palms as she noticed she could no longer feel the fire against her body.

“Holy sh*t!”she smiled heartily, saying while nodding at herself as if to confirm the moment had changed and Luciano was no longer leaving her.

Luciano made to get up from the hug but Sabrina slammed back into his chest, snuggling her face into the pit of his neck.

“For once I thought you were leaving me.”She didn’t know when she blunt out the statement, until her face went the third degree of paleness as she realized what she had just spluttered out.

She wanted to jump away from him but hearing a chuckle emit from him which was enough to send tickling shivers down the path of her neck, she grinned immediately, not moving away from the spot.

“Arrgh!”Roselia cussed, twirling around and storming off.

Aria was walking out of her clas-swhen she saw Austen standing feebly halfway to the cafetaria. Even though Austen had told her countless of times to avoid him, she found herself running towards him.

She stopped and touched his shoulder.

“Austen, you look so tensed. What’s happening?”Aria asked, immediately removing her hand from his shoulder when he turned around to face her.

She was surprised he wasn’t looking at her with the usual glare, instead, his gaze was so soft and he looks so vulnerable.

“Sorry, uhm- I’ll go now.”Aria stammered, starting to turn around when he pulled her back and embraced her in a tight hug.

Her eyes wide-ned unbelievably…

Anita walked out of her forth clas-swhich thereafter signals the start of lunch break. She has her backpack across her shoulders as she made her way to the cafetaria.

Her phone beeped and she clic-ked on the new text.

Charlotte: We are at the cafetaria already.

After reading throu-ghthe text, she looked forward only to see Austen also walking his way to the cafetaria. Her face glimmered with mischief.

“Great! What an encounter.”she mumbled to herself.

Skipping after him with just a few feets, it was with the needed silence that she crept behind him, stopping and patting him once on the shoulder.

“What the… Anita?”Austen turned around, wanting to snap at whoever that was but struggled to push back the feeling of distaste that wanted to make way unto his face.

“Yeah, it’s me.”she winked, turning around and twirling around her body, before stopping to see Austen giving her the bad type of stare.

“Aren’t you happy we met again?*she pouted, feigning eagerness.

Austen’s jaw ticked with annoyance. He wouldn’t want to hit her and cause trouble for himself, and neither does he want to stay a minute longer in her presence. So, he decided to walk away.

Anita frowned before smirking cunningly.

“You know I still have the tape, right?”she called after him, and Austen instantly stopped his movement.

His shoulders tensed at Anita’s reminder, He should have knew she wouldn’t forget so easily; he should have knew she hasn’t forgotten her motive to blackmail him with the tape.

“I don’t have the tape anymore, but to him, am still going to make him believe it’s still in my possession.”Anita thought inwardly to herself.

Then, her face brightened up when Austen started approaching her. Stopping before her with an irritated huff.

“Tell me, what do you freaking want from me?”he asked her.

“It’s a small task, Austen. Just tell your homewrecker of a sister to leave my Luciano alone.”she responded, shrugging a shoulder.

“Watch your mouth,”Austen pointed his index finger warning at her.

“I know the truth hurts but whatever. Are you willing to do what I just said or you’d rather continue defending your sister instead?”She purred impatiently.

“Fine, but you’re deleting that fuc-k ing tape as soon as that’s done.”he replied.

“Of course, that’s sure.”she mushed, her chippy tone so loud and annoying while clapping her palms together excitedly.

Afterwards, she throwed him a ki-ss to the air before walking past him and to the cafetaria.

Roselia palmed her face in her hands, her head steaming with thoughts. She has to get back home as soon as possible but it can’t be without Luciano. All her efforts are proving futile while he’s there with that girl called Sabrina. The later she gets this done, she sooner her hubby will start falling for her. But if she takes this fast and was able to pull them apart and take what she was here for with her back to her place, then there won’t be anything to risk.

“Roselia…”her mother’s voice sounded in her head.

“Mother.”she responded, not bothering to cast her gaze up as she knows already her mother wasn’t around but in her head instead.

“When will you be back home?”Her mother inquired in a worried sick voice.

“I don’t know for now. You’ll only see me there if have succeeded in bringing my hubby with me.”she replied.

“I will give you a more simpler solution but that means you must unfailingly come back home tomorrow.”her mother spoke, a little bit of reluctance in her.

Roselia immediately looked up, whatever solution her mother has was catching her interest.

“Yeah, let’s see what solution you have got for me.”she chimed, nibbling on bottom li-p after saying.

“You see that ring on your middle finger…?”her mother started, and she quickly looked down at her right hand that has a silvery moon ring at her middle finger.

“Yes, I can see it.”she nodded her head once in confirmation.

“I don’t know how you are going to do it but it has to come in contact with one of your hubby’s finger. And instantly…”

“How on earth is that possible, mother? He doesn’t even want to see me!!”Roselia half yelled exasperatedly in distress, a little angered by the impossibility of the solution her mother had just given.

“Then come back home, daughter. You can get another guy, get married to him…”

“No way!!! It’s a ‘No’.”Roselia shut her off immediately, kicking back the remains of her mother’s voice away from her head.

CAFETARIA★★

Sabrina scanned throu-ghthe cafetaria and was surprised it wasn’t so ha-rd to find him. She smiled and approached his table where two of his male friends are also seated with him.

“Hey!”she tapped on their table, grabbing their attentions.

Luciano who was munching on the plenty of fruits before him gingerly arched an interested brow at Sabrina, a little grin tugging by his li-ps.

“Can I seat?”she asked, ignoring the looks his friends were also giving her.

Luciano simply nodded, and smiling back in return, she took the seat next to him.

“That’s Damian, while he’s Axel.”Luciano introduced his two friends, pointing at the one of the left and then the other by his right side.

“Hi, I’m Sabrina.”she smiled up at them.

“Yeah, we know.”Damian and Axel chorused at once

She was confused, so she asked curiously,”How do you know?”

“Cause you’re the school’s beauty.”Axel shrugged, winking at her.

Luciano faked a cough, causing the three to look straight at him.

“Enough of the flirting, what are you here for?*Luciano asked her, grabbing an apple from the basket and offering her.

Sabrina would want to think he didn’t want her here by that statement but she knew he was asking because this was the first time they’ll actually be sitting together at the cafeteria.

“I’ll get my meal once I leave here, thanks.”she said, shaking her head and he nodded in agreement.

“I have your ring here with me.”Sabrina said, stretching forth the silvery moon ring in her hand towards him.

“My ring?”he looked between the ring and her face, confusion obvious on his face.

“Yes, isn’t it yours?”she asked.

“Who gave it to you?”Rather than replying her, he inquired about the source.

“Roselia.”she muttered, and Luciano was taken aback.

“How can you take something from her? You know who she is.”he tried not to raise his voice as he tried to reason with her.

“But she had pleaded with me to return this to you and that she has no motive behind it. I would have rejected but I don’t want to feel like the bad person.”she told him.

“Gosh!”he rubbing his palm over his forehead in frustration.

“Take it, I can’t keep it cause she said it belongs to you not me.”she said, putting the ring on the table.

“Sabrina…”he started speaking but stopped when she rolled her eyes unbelievably at him.

“It’s just a ring, Lucian. What harm could possibly be etched on just a simple ring?”she said, sighing.

“Sabrina, you shouldn’t trust her…”he said, leaning towards her.

“It’s just a simple ring. If you don’t want it, then I’ll return it to her. But before then, am going to put it on and you’ll see it’s an harmless object.”she said, and took the ring off the table before he could hold her hand in place.

“fuc-k , Sabrina… No!!!”he cussed, pushed back his chair to stop her.

But she was already sli-pping it around her middle finger…
