CHAPTER 22

Before she could finally leave, he grabbed her lightly by the arm and spun her over. Almost tripping on her feet, he quickly caught her in his arm before she could fall.
And she was left with staring at his enchanting hazel pair of eyes…
Luciano held her tight, and even though he was staring so de-ep into her eyes, his hold on her didn’t loosen as it rather hardened. An electrifying jolt strung throu-ghtheir eyes, which they both noticed.
He made to disconnect their gaze but immediately his eyes drooped downward, he knew there was no way out.
Her plump pink li-ps catch his attention and it was like a whisper, it keeps calling out to meet his.
She felt her body sting with a jolt when she realized he has his eyes on her li-ps. On instinct, she rolled a little tip of her tongue over her bottom li-p.
He gulped down nothing. That little move struck a sense of enchantment in his joints, such that he found those ravishing li-ps back at him and he started leaning in closer.
Seth knew he shouldn’t have but he found himself walking around the house before he could stop himself.
He needed to find her. Shit! He has to know where she was such in a hurry too.
He took the turn leading to the pool but abruptly stopped halfway, suddenly uninterested.
He decided to leave. But just as he was turning back, a caught a certain glimpse that had him snapping his head to where the pool was located at.
His eyes lost all colours immediately. He didn’t even know when his fists started curling up into tight fists.
No doubt, he was annoyed.
Seeing her in Luciano’s arm with both of them so lost and dazzled in his each other, he didn’t know when his anger raised and boiled to an higher degree.
Turning, he slammed his fist on the wall; so loudly that it echoed into the air.
Sabrina who was fluttering her lashes as she awaits the descending of Luciano’s li-ps upon hers.
But it never came. Their faces were barely inches away when a sudden slamming of something against the wall shot throu-ghthe air.
Like electrifying objects that came into contact and relapse, Luciano didn’t know of when he sli-pped his arm away and they both stood straight.
In rhythm, they looked towards the direction.
Seth looked down at his knuckles that was now bruised. He saw the way his blood was making ways out of his skin tissues and showing itself on the knuckles surface.
But he didn’t care. He sent his gaze at the pool side and knowing he has successfully grabbed their attentions, he gritted his teeth angrily when his eyes came in direct contact with Luciano’s.
Huffing, Seth turned around and stomped off angrily.
“fuc-k !”Luciano mumbled under his breath after Seth’s disparture.
He doesn’t know why he wasn’t mad that Seth had saw them, but instead, he was annoyed at the fact that Seth had disrupted the moment.
‘What’s happening to me?’he panicked as he thought, his hands running into his hair.

★LAKEVILLE HOSPITAL★
Anita stirred in her sleep. Her eyes fluttered opened and took in the view of the certain room. Her hands gripped the sheets tightly when an uneasy scent reached her nostrils; one that makes her feel like she wants to puke.
She quickly sat up straight on the bed, her eyes running a scan around the unfamiliar room.
And looking down to see a drip connected on her wrist. The smell… the drip; hospital! Her eyes sudden went wide in realization.
Peyton who was picking on her nails, her eyes on the floor heard the crinkling of the sheets. She looked sideways and then at Anita’s sickbed.
Her eyes lit up… She quickly rose up on her feet.
“Ma’am, Miss Anita is awake!”Peyton went to the door and called.
At the first very call, Anita’s mother ran into the hospital room; Peyton stepping side and making way for her.
“Daughter.”she cooed, tears escaping her eyes as she got to Anita.
Embracing her and placing Anita’s head on her chest, she rested her jaw upon Anita’s head and sniffed in tears.
“Mum,”Anita though confused, hug-ged her mother back,”What am I doing here?”
“You don’t remember?”Casting her eyes down at her daughter for a moment, she asked her.
Anita shook her head negatively, causing her mother to sigh. A tired smile escaping hee face.
“It’s ok. You’re fine now, alright?”she patted her head, smoothing it down
“Alright.”Anita nodded in affirmation, her face blank of any idea of what might have happened which she couldn’t recollect.
Her mother nodded, her jaw ticking upon Anita’s head. She watch as a drip of her tears fell onto her daughter’s hair; and she quickly wiped it off. Patting her head therafter.
Wiping her own tears, she said,”We’re just going to wait for the doctor. You’ll be discharge and we are going to be back to our home.”
She a-ssured and this time, Anita didn’t respond. She only stayed in her own silence.

After that moment, they both stood in the uncomfortable silence. Sabrina felt awkward, and just kept looking here and there as she made sure to avoid Luciano’s eyes.
She’d love to go back home now but she just couldn’t walk away like that.
Moreover, she came here for a different thing entirely which she hasn’t even done. She has to speak with him but she no ounce of courage left in her after that embarra-ssing moment between him and her. Though it never happened and a little part of her wished it did, she still felt embra-ssed.
Luciano snuck a side glance at her and blew from his mouth a air, before clearing his throat.
“C’mon. I’ll drop you off.”he spoke up, walking away.
Left with no choice; and not like she was going to reject the free ride anyways, she nodded even though he couldn’t see her and started following him.
He climbed behind the wheels and indicated for the security guard to do his job.
As he inse-rted the key in the ignition, she opened the door and awkwardly sat herself on the pa-ssenger’s seat.
Expect her address that she quickly uttered to him before he could even ask, no other word was exchanged between them. Knowing she’d to do something rather than staying put and looking forward like a duck, she started running her eyes around the car.
It’s a red sleek sport car. it’s inside interior designs looks so perfect. Everything was glittering clean and looked so new. Even the alluring mint scent that filled the car made it even more lovely and… princely for a person like him.
‘What am I saying? He’s prince.’she chuckled silently at her thought.
But it seems not too silent after all. Because Luciano’s face crept up with a little smile, though he was curious at what was making her so delighted.
Soon, he was only a minute away from her home. She knew she couldn’t just get down and walk pack under the shelter of her room without fulfilling her main purpose of going over to the palace.
So, she spoke up…
“Do you know you ain’t just a natural being?”anxiously, she first asked. Even though she wasn’t looking at him, she knew she now has his attention.
“What are you saying Sabrina?,”he chuckled, looking between her and the road,”Of course am a human like you. We are same. Nothing natural, and nothing special”
Hearing this, she didn’t resist shifting back so she was now staring as his face. She spoke;
“Will you believe what am going to tell you and accept it as the truth? I had a certain dream and am hoping you’re going to believe the words that comes out of my mouth.”
She knew she didn’t have a dream. She knew she didn’t know of this from a dream. But she couldn’t just tell him she went to a strange land, came and knew about his real identify, right? So yes, that’s the reason she’s going to lie and just tell him the main issue
He nodded, indicating for her to go on.
“You came from another world entirely. You aren’t just a being. You came from a powerful kingdom which isn’t of this world. You’re a king there, you have a betrothed, you own the kingdom. You’re not a prince that you are there.”
“Where are you heading? I don’t understand.”he said, glancing at her for moment before looking back at the road.
She sighed out.
“Luciano… You’re not who you think you are.”she mouthed the words to him, her eyes holding a de-ep depth of seriousness in them.
“What the fuc-k ?!”he screeched the car to a sudden halt just before her house, his eyes snapping towards her…
