THE BROOKS HIDEOUT*
Richa-rd walked into the hideout, some of the guards who recognized him were surprised, he looked like a ghost to them cos they believed he dead In the fire accident
He took steady steps towards the big door but the other guards who seem not to recognize him block his way, he looked at them in disgust before speaking up
“Out of my way,” he said but the guard stood their ground
“Did you all have a death wish, I said out of my way,” he yelled
The guards looked at each other, they walked closer to him with the idea of dealing with him mercilessly
“Let him pa-ss,” they heard that familiar voice that can never change and partway for him
“The next time you guys try this with me, I will personally fry your tongues,” he threatened before walking into the building

THE SMITH MANSION*
Lucas helped Jason back to their mansion, the guards saw them and went to help but Lucas stopped them
“I will take him,” he said and they moved back
He went into the mansion and gently made him sit on the couch, the maids already informed their parents and they came running down
“What happened,” Mr.. Smith asked looking at Jason who was still sobbing
“My baby,” Mr.s Hillary called and went over to him, She hug-ged him to herself and stro-ked his hair lightly
“Can you both tell me what happened, Lucas say something,” Mr. Smith said worriedly
“If only you did as I said all this wouldn’t have happened,” Lucas said, preventing himself from bursting out
“Mum, They took her….. They took her mum, it hurts,” Jason said still sobbing
“They took who? What’s he talking about,” Mrs. Hillary asked confused, she seem not to un-derstand anything from what they are saying
“Lucas,” Mr. Smith shouted….. What is going on here,” he demanded from Lucas who was now pacing around
“His girlfriend has been kidnapped,” Lucas replied
“Is that why he’s like this, I bet there is more to it,” Mrs. Hillary said Wondering why they can’t just go straight to the point
“She’s pregnant mum, she’s carrying my baby… And they took! They are gonna kill her mum. I don’t want her to die… I love her so much,” Jason said in-between tears and his mom gasped
“Wait, what….. You didn’t tell me you have a girlfriend, oh, my baby why must it be you,” she said astonished
“So how are you getting the search squared or not,” Lucas suddenly asked looking at Mr.. Smith who was also surprised
“Lucas,……”
“Don’t freaking call my name, you have been giving excuses since the day one, now listen to me if anything happens to that girl or my little buddy, I will never forgive you,” he threatened
“Calm down will you, let’s think of this together,” M.r Smith said
“It’s hurt, it hurts mum… I want her back,” Jason muttered
“Smith, you need to do something, nothing most happened to my grandchild,” Mrs. Hillary said with seriousness
“And where the Fu-ck are Sandra and Steve,” Lucas asked looking around
“They went to the Mall, am sure they will be on the back now,” Mrs. Hillary answered
Mr. Smith looked at them and signed, he picked up his phone and called someone

“No I don’t like that one,” Sandra said as Steve pointed at a clothes
They were shopping for new clothes since Sandra said it’s been a long she went shopping with him
“How about that one over there,” he replied pointing at another one
“Gosh Steve, is there anything in your eyes?” She said looking at him
“Fine, but that one looks kinda good,” he replied
They walked around picking the things they need, with the help of the staff
“Are you planning to buy the whole Mall, let’s get going already,” Steve complained
They have been shopping since morning and he’s equally hungry, each time he talks about food she will pretend not to hear him
“Sandra!!!” He called, she looked back at him and smiled
“Not yet, I still haven’t gotten…..” Steve didn’t let her finish before walking out
“Steve wait, silly you. Was just teasing you,” she said laughing as he pouted
“Am starving,” he complained
“Let’s go eat at that restaurant nearby before going then,” she suggested

“Richard,” Julia called shocked… How is this possible,” she added
“Where is my father,” he asked instead observing the whole place
*Things have changed around here* he thought
Brooks walked out of the back door and couldn’t believe his eyes
“Richa-rd is that you,” he said also shocked
“Where is she,” Richa-rd asked impatiently
“Who,” both Julia and Brooks asked at a time
“The girl, where did you keep her? What did you do to her, what did you plan to do to her,” he asked all in one world
“That’s left for me to decide, am in charge here not the other way round,” Julia answered
Richa-rd looked at his father then turned his gaze to Julia, he stared at her for a while before turning it to Mr. Brooks
“And she is?” He asked, Mr. Brooks was taken aback… He was expecting that question but not like this
“Madam Julia, I told you about her already,” Mr. Brooks replied calmly, on Normal base’s who’s Richa-rd to talk to him in that manner
He was just, staring as if he has seen a ghost or something
“Oh, welcome to Canada madam Julia, can I at least see her,” Richa-rd asked looking at her
“Of course let’s go,” she replied and lead the way

5 STAR RESTAURANT*
They’ve already finished eating, Steve paid the bills and they stood to go
“I need to use the restroom, I will be back,” Sandra said
“Alright,” Steve replied and sit back on his chair
She called one of their staff and they showed her the way, she went in and locked the door from inside, after a while, she opened the door to step out but someone blocked her way
“Excuse me, I need to pa-ss throu-ghhere,” she said referring to the person
The person just look at her and shifted a little
“Thanks,” she replied and walked past him, the person rushed forward and grabbed her ne-ck from behind
making it difficult for her to shout for help… Before placing the sed-uce d handkerchief on her nose, then everything went black

THE BROOKS HIDEOUT*
Richa-rd followed them into the torture room to see Chelsea chained
“What’s this? Why is she chained like this?” He inquired
“It’s the best we can do for her,” Julia replied
“By chaining her like this,” he asked turning to them
“Unchain her, she’s my friend, not an enemy, she saved my life dad and this is how you repay her,” he said with so much anger
“Richard, I have my reasons, it was good of her to save your life but letting her go is what I can’t do, we have come a long way to quiet now,” Mr. Brooks said
“Seriously dad, she’s my Friend,” he said almost in a yell
“Ion care,” Mr. Brooks shouted making Richa-rd flinch
“You don’t care!! but am your son you should care about me for just once, have always done everything you wanted, what more do you want,” he yelled back and Mr. Brooks was taken aback
He wanted to say something but Chelsea spoke up
“That’s because he’s not your real father,” she said and they gasped
Richa-rd who couldn’t close his mouth looked at them in total shock
“What are you talking about,” he inquired
“Why not tell him brooks, one of the triplets you kidnapped years back. Using him as a tool against his family, and planning to kill him once you’re done using him,” she blurted out
Richa-rd looked at Mr brooks and then at Chelsea before turning to face Julia
“Is this true?” He asked slowly
Mr. Brooks who was shocked about how Chelsea got to know his secrets didn’t know what to say, but keeping quiet will make them think she’s saying the truth so he decided to act
“What are you saying you bi-tch , Richa-rd is my son and I can never harm him, how dare you try to brainwash my son right before my eyes,” Mr brooks said and walked towards Chelsea
“Why then are you so walked up if it’s not true, check my inner paints Richa-rd I kept something there for you,” she said and Richa-rd made to go closer but brooks stopped him
he shoved him aside and walked towards her, he put hands hand inside her clothes then brings out a flash drive
“What’s this,” he asked
“Press the black bu-tton,” she replied and he did as she instructed
