“He’s still in shock, you can’t see him now,” another doctor said
Richa-rd ignored the doctor and starts checking every room, he was still checking when a nurse call his attention

Richa-rd looked at her for a while, wondering if it was not a trap or something, but he decided to follow her anyway

Mr brooks walk up with a slight headache, he adjusted himself on the bed before sitting up
Not long after Richa-rd walks in followed by a nurse, seeing that his already awake the nurse made to call for the doctors but was stopped by Mr brooks
“No need for that, you can live,” he said and she walked out immediately
“Father!” Richa-rd called as he bent his head slowly
“Who attacked the goods,” Mr. Brooks asked instead
“It’s… Em… It’s,” he stammered
“So by now you still don’t know who attacked our goods, did you know how much we have lost in just a day,” Mr brooks shouted at Richa-rd who shifted back a little
“Am sorry father,” Richa-rd replied calmly
“You know how much I hate hearing that word, I entrusted the company to you, I wanted to make you happy for once….. I wanted you not to think that I don’t love you, but what did you do in return. You trash millions just for two days and everything is already falling apart,” Mr. Brooks yelled making Richa-rd flinch

Richa-rd walked into the smith mansion observing the whole place, he noticed many things about the house

He planted a small hidden camera at the front of the building and went to put the other one at the door but was stopped by Mrs. Sophia

“And what are you doing here, haven’t you done enough,” Jason inquired with so much anger and hatred
“Em… Jason I no we have not been in good times but I came to apologize,” he replied, his good at pretending so he put up the act
“We don’t need your apology, keep it to yourself,” Sandra said and walked past him going to the car
She looked back to see the boys still standing with Richa-rd and she was for-ced to go back to them
“Get out,” Steve said loudly
“Please, just give me a chance to prove myself to you, all these days I have been a fool. I don’t know what came over me, just give me a chance please,” Richa-rd pleaded to shade fake tears
he look at Jason and prayed silently that he will agree and surprisingly he did
“Fine, but always stay one inch away from us, I still don’t trust you,” Jason said and start walking toward the car
Steve and Sandra couldn’t believe their ears, how can he just forgive him just like that
“You didn’t mean that did you?” Steve asked still not being to believe it
“He already apologize man,” Jason defended
“But still,” Sandra said, she don’t trust this Richa-rd at all
“Seem like you guys are going out, would you mind if I follow you,” Richa-rd asked with a hidden sm-irk
He’s so happy about achieving his first goal, and now he will use Jason and gain full control over the family,” he thought
“No!!!” But Steve and Sandra shouted at the same, Jason wanted to say something when Steve drove off

They got to the direction Chelsea sent to them to see Lucas already waiting by his car
Sandra runs to hug him but was stopped by two men who insisted on searching her before letting her pa-ss, she looks at Lucas then at the guys
“Let her pa-ss,” Lucas orders, his voice sounds so much different
“But boss… One of his men was still trying to argue when a bullet landed on his leg
“Disgrace me again and it will be in your head,” Lucas said, his the one that shoot the guy
Jason and Steve were surprised, even Sandra was shocked that she didn’t make a move, she stayed on a sp-ot for a while until Lucas speak up
“Did you all come here just to stand and watch me,” he asked, Sandra gathered a little strength and went to him
She hug-ged him ti-ghtly that he wanted to stro-ke her back but restricted himself, he broke from the huge and Jason made to hug him but he moved backward
“Not allowed,” he said and looked at Sandra who was still holding him
“Why, but Sandra just hug-ged you now,” Steve complain
“What are you all doing here?” Lucas asked the question he has been trying to ask since they came here
“Because we are worried about you, Sandra nearly block my ears with your name,” Steve said loudly
Lucas looked at Sandra then at the boys, he remembered how paps use to care for him
Seeing her holding unto him gives him joy, the joy that no one can see
“Where is Richard?” Lucas suddenly asked, then it dawn on them that he requested Richard
He told them that before they will see him they have to come with Richard, and Richa-rd even came to their house
they knew once Lucas see Richa-rd his gonna kill him straight without thinking twice
“He..em … He didn’t come,” Jason said slowly and look down, there he saw the guy Lucas shot earlier. He was still groa-ning in pain
He became scared instantly, not knowing what Lucas might do at any moment, he was still thinking of what to say when Steve spoke up
“As you can see he’s not here, Lucas, please come back. Everybody missed you,” Steve said gently
“I didn’t belong to the Smith anymore, am not going back there again,” he replied
“Lucas we are family, we love you please,” Jason added moving close to him but is stopped by his men
“I said am not the son of Smith! And I will never be, just go if that’s what you came here to do,” Lucas yelled and Sandra nearly sli-pped from his hand but he hold her ti-ght
He never wants to be like this, but he can’t stop halfway, he will make sure Richa-rd goes down just like his paps,” he thought
Suddenly he noticed a movement at the nearby bush and pointed his gun towards there
“Come out now I know you are there, or you are dead within three minutes,” Lucas shouted, loud enough for whoever was in there to hear him
Richa-rd who has been hiding since he get there slowly crawled out from his hiding place since Jason was close to him. He quickly hug-ged Jason from behind
“Don’t shoot,” both Steve and Jason shouted at a time
“hand over Richa-rd to me,” Lucas said, seeing Richa-rd Alone makes his blood boil, he holds his gun firmly still pointing at Richa-rd direction who was behind Jason
“Lucas, wait please,” Jason pleaded, he didn’t want to die young. He knows once Lucas released the trigger that he goes down straight
“Let’s stop wasting each other’s time, you have what I need hand him over to me then we can be family again,” Lucas said angrily his eyes ball has turned back to red
He has that cold expression on his face, even Richa-rd was surprised at the person standing a few inches away
