The Smith mansion*
Sandra has been in her room since Lucas left, she refused to come down for dinner or even breakfast. Lucas thought alone has occu-pied her mind
She wondered how he will be doing now if he has eaten? She suddenly stood up from her bed and went downstairs
“Dad,” Sandra called and Mr. Smith looked at her
“What are you saying about Lucas?” She asked joining them at the table
“Like what,” Mr. Smith asked
“Seriously dad, his gone for crying out loud and you don’t want to do anything about it,” Sandra said and they all stopped eating and look at her
“Sandra why are you so walked up about all this, calm down he will be fine,” Steve said, just a glare from her shut him up immediately
“Have informed the cops and they are still searching, you don’t need to worry, by the time the cops captured brooks Lucas will come back, but for now he’s still grieving and we need to give him space,” Mr. Smith said
“Really? what if he does something stupid that will endanger his life,” Sandra said worriedly
“Oh, Sandra you worry too much, he will be fine,” Steve said
“Just shut up, what do you know, you are just a robot so you have no feelings… Lemme make it clear to you all if anyone of you refused to find him then I will do it myself,” Sandra said and stood
“Sandra,” both Mr. Smith and Mrs. Hillary called at the same time
“This conversation is over, am going to find my brother, and as for you, Steve doesn’t even think of following me… Am going to the company to inform Jason so you guys should better watch out,” Sandra said and left
“You need to stop her Smith,” Mrs. Hillary said
“You can’t go out there alone it’s dangerous,” Steve shouted but she was long gone
Tears fall from Mrs. Hillary’s eyes as she cried slowly, God why are you punishing me like this, why can’t I have a happy home, why is it only my family that is always shattered,” she mumbled in-between tears
“All this will be over someday,” Mr. Smith a-ssured as he hug-ged her lightly
“Why must it be our children, they didn’t have a happy childhood and now brooks won’t still let them have a happy life,” Mrs. Hillary muttered

Lucy kept looking at the door to see if Lucas will step in but it never happens, she wants to wait for Lucas before summiting her resignation letter
Jason caught her staring at the door from time to time, he knows she was expecting to see Lucas but he didn’t want to tell her anything
He was still wondering why she hasn’t summit her resignation letter like she said when Lucy decide to speak up
“Sir, have you by any means seen Lucas today?” Lucy asked poor Lucy she has no idea about what’s happening
She only knows that the party didn’t hold but she has no clue about Lucas moving out of the smith mansion

“I mean why isn’t Lucas here today,” she asked, Jason, felt bad instantly that she cares about Lucas
“That’s because he moved out and no one knows where he is now,” Jason replied calmly
“And I was waiting for him, I should have done this since,” she muttered and brings out an envelope and walked towards Jason’s table where she place it gently
“That’s my resignation letter, please sign it,” she said, Jason looked at her and frown
“I won’t sign it, besides you still haven’t complete today’s work, so get back to work,” Jason replied, it was now Lucy’s turn to frown
” I was only waiting for Lucas but since he’s not here I have to live, whether you sign it or not am living,” Lucy said and made to live but stopped when she heard Jason’s voice
“You are violating the company policy,” Jason said
“Am not, since you refuse to sign it I have to live on my own, you bluntly told me to stay away from you remember,” Lucy replied
“I didn’t mean It that way,” Jason said
“Or what! You wanna blame me again, did I say it,” Lucy asked
“I never said you should stay away from me, I was only trying to tell you….” Jason stopped
“Tell me what exactly,” Lucy asked, Jason couldn’t take it anymore. He just doesn’t know how she will feel when he finally tells her about his feelings
“Yes tell me what,” she asked looking at him directly in the eye since they were a few inches away from each other.
Jason stared hungrily at her li-ps, Gosh! She has such a tempting li-p,” the thought
suddenly he slammed his li-ps on hers, she was shocked for a moment that she didn’t know when she opened up for him, he kis-sed her with so much pa-ssion, she wanted to reciprocate but her subconscious mind spoke up
“Thought you said you hate him,” her subconscious mind mocked and she came back to her senses
She pushed him away lightly and added a slap to it
“I already told you, just because something happened between us doesn’t mean you could come back and have some more like some food in the buffets,” Lucy said calmly
Her heart was already racing fast cos of the kis-s, it felt like her whole body wants to have more of him
Jason lic-ked his li-ps seductively and chuckled softly, her li-ps test just like strawberries, If only I will get to kis-s her all day and get slapped I will be happy,” Jason thought silently and smiled
“You think is funny right,” Lucy asked he smiled and took a few steps towards her but she moved backward
He kept coming until her back hits the wall, she wondered what has gotten into him, she badly wanted to say something but words refuse to come from her out
“So what if I refuse to sign it,” Jason asked as he leaned close to her, they are just two-inch apart
He looked de-eperly into her eyes, he badly wants to tell her how much he love her but he was afraid of being rejected so he just decide to enjoy the moment
They were both lust staring into each other’s eyes, their face start coming closer and closer suddenly the door Burst open when Jason was about to capture her li-ps again, they were for-ced to separate
“Did I interrupt something?” Sandra asked as she walks in fully
“No,” they both shouted at the same time
Seeing them in the position, she knows something was off about them but that’s not why she’s there anyway
“What are you doing here,” Jason asked
“It’s about Lucas” she replied
“What did you mean about Lucas, is he missing?” Lucy asked
“No. yes, I dunno, all I know is that he left and we need to find him,” Sandra said
“Left, where, and how,” Lucy inquired
“Why should we look for him, he’s probably somewhere safe,” Jason said
“I can’t believe you are saying this, his your brother for crying out loud and you are here doing nothing but to act all lovey-dovey,” Sandra said
“I never asked him to live, he insisted on living so don’t put it on me,” Jason said
“Oh really,” Sandra said
“If you came here to cause trouble why not just live,” Jason added
He didn’t know why Sandra spoiled the wonderful moment, all because of Lucas, they might still be kis-sing by now if not for her,” he thought
“You are sending me out, well sorry to burst your bubble cos am not going anywhere….. Lucas is in pain, his grieving; he lost a loved one and all you could do is to feel less concerned about it,” Sandra said, she doesn’t un-derstand why they don’t want to do anything about it
“See I un-derstand his pain but he choose his part,” Jason replied
“He once mentioned that no one cares about him, right now I can see that is true.. that same Lucas was the one who Fu-cking save your a** the first time he met you even without knowing you, you said that yourself!!….. That same Lucas was the one who saved your Goddanm Fu-cking mum, and if it wasn’t for him we all would have been dead,” Sandra shouted
“You don’t call my mum names,” Jason said trying to stay calm, of course, Sandra was right. They have acted as if they don’t care about him
“Thank goodness you said your mum, not our mum, cos I can’t be a sister to someone as selfish as you all,” Sandra said
Silence
“You know what! Am gonna find him my self no matter what it takes, just no that you’re not my brother and I hate you all,” she said and stormed out
