“Paps,” Lucas called shocked holding his burning cheeks that has already turned red cos of the slap, he didn’t believe that his father will slap him. Like he has never done that before
“You are a disappointment, I didn’t raise you to be like this…. Now listen to me cos I won’t say it again, you are going back there and you most accept them as your family; it’s an older,” he said and walked
Lucas was stunned, he has never seen his father act like this towards him, are my doing the right thing,”he thought

“Am sorry father, I didn’t know he survived,” Richa-rd said
“Take this,” Mr Brooks asked showing him an invitation card, Mr Smith wants to throw a big welcome party for Lucas

THE SMITH MANSION*
“Here eating something, you have been here since morning without eating anything,” Mrs Sophia said as she place a tray of food on the table, Lucas just looked at it and concentrate on his laptop
“You don’t want food, I will get you orange juice,” she said and left within some minutes she was already back with the juice.. here have this,” she said and place it on the table, Lucas still didn’t look at her
“Ok I will get you some fruits,” she said and maid to live but Lucas called her back
“Mrs Sophia, am not hungry, but I will eat once am done” Lucas said calmly, even knowing that Mrs Sophia won’t stop until he eats something… She has been like a mother to him ever since he came here, and he can’t stop loving the way she made him feel, so special
“No Lucas, you have to eat something now that am here,” she said looking at him with those pretty eyes, even at the old age she’s still pretty
“Don’t be a stubborn girlfriend Mrs Sophia, I said I will eat but not now,” Lucas replied stro-king her hand gentle but she pulled away from him
“Stop try to se-duce me get yourself a girlfriend, have never seen you with one, so before your welcoming party make sure you get a girlfriend,” she said, making him giggled….. wait has this woman been spying on me..
“I have one already,” Lucas said but she looked at him suspiciously
“Is she pretty, when will you bring her home,” she replied
“Well her name is Mrs Sophia, and she lives in the house. Infact she is talking to me right now,” he joked, seeing the expression on her face he bursts into laughter, Mrs Sophia frown and hit the cu-p on his head
“Ouch, are you trying to wound your boyfriend,” he said and winked at her
Mr Smith watched them from a distance and smiled, before walking towards them
“Mrs Sophia, my boy is handsome don’t you think?” Mr Smith asked as he approached them
“My girlfriend is trying to run from me,” he said teasing
“I said you should get a girlfriend, I never said it should be me, am too old for all this,” Mrs Sophia said, this boy is really something else. She thought
“Sorry to interrupt, lucas my boss seeks for your presence,” lucy said from behind
