By 4pm, I and Emma is already set to UC’ s area, we decided that we will get some information about the ra-ped girl throu-ghher since they are both friends…..
We got to the area and asked some people there about UC luckily they directed us to her house…… And we headed the direction and get to the compound we were directed to……
Oh boy, this compound is scary ooo…. How can someone possibly think of living in such a place….. I said to Emma who was seriously matching forward to get to ask a woman sitting in the frontage some questions……..
Menh! Just forget about the compound for now, let’s achieve what we came for first of all….. Emma replied with a Choky voice……
I understand his tone, I understand how he is feeling right now… I understand that sense of guilt in his eyes… I understand his pains because he felt his the one responsible for uc’s low life now…. I understand everything thing about my friend Emma so I didn’t count it on him….. I just followed quietly behind him without uttering any more words about the environment…..
Hello good evening ma’am….Emma greeted a young woman feeding her child in front of the compound we were directed to, I greeted her too and the woman raised up her head and responded to our greetings……
Please we are looking for one miss Uchechi that leaves here… Emma asked the woman politely….
After a while the woman said there’s no Uchechi that leaves in the compound…..

A young girl at about 15years came out from the room and greeted us, then said to her mother……. Maybe is Aunty UC that they are looking for
Yes, they calls her UC too, Emma said immediately….
Oh! OK… I’m sorry, just that no one knows her by Uchechi, we all calls her UC.. The woman said smiling….

Another woman emerge from her room and we greeted her as well……
She’s more older than the first woman we met there… Then she said…..
My son’s, are you sure your are looking for UC or some other person, she asked very curious…..
I and Emma was taking aback by the question… What type of question is this? I and Emma looked at each other looking for the right words to use…..
The woman observing our nervousness smiled and said…. My son’s I know you are confused about this question I just asked now.. I’m very happy that you came looking for UC, just that I’m very surprised…..
Yes ooo, I’m equally, surprised too, the younger woman added….
I and Emma looked at each other again, and I was forced to ask them…..
But mama, sorry to ask, why are you people surprised at our visit? I asked them… Yes why the surprise MA, Emma added…. Looking as curious as I am…..
My son’s you will not understand,……. Since they have been staying in this compound, no boy has ever come to visit she and her sister before…. Those girls are very good girls, I wish I had unmarried son’s, I would have come and married the both of them….. The older woman said smiling….

I was going to there house before I saw them going out that’s why I returned…..
Did you tell them that people are looking for them? Emma asked almost running out of patience…..
Don’t worry, they will pas-sthis way, the younger woman said smiling…….
Emma signed in relief…..
Take it easy Mr lover boy, I said hitting his chest lightly..
They are coming, the little girl said pointing at a direction……….
Oh my God!….. My heart wants to fly away and I can also hear the beating of Emma’s heart too….. Is tumbling and beating like a village drum……

Josy, is like mama’s sons are back ooo, I can see two young boys standing there…
UC said to Josy excitedly…
Wow! I’m happy for her ooo, at least they will take her to the house they bought for them, but then I’m going to miss mama ukwu oo…. Josy said with a missed feelings of happiness and sadness…
Let’s hurry and get there so that we will get to know where she will be relocating to and wish her the last bye
UC said and the two girls increase their pace….

Meanwhile Ben and Emma had turned their back after seeing the two girls walking towards their direction so that they won’t identify them and run away like they usually does….. Emma also used the opportunity to tell the two women that they should help him out, that he has really wronged UC but desperately needs her forgiveness…….. The two women had wanted to ask the grievance of his offence but Emma simply told them is a long story, that they should just help him accomplish his mission and they will find out every thing that happened in due time… The two women were dumbfounded and has no other options than to nod their head in agreement…..

Josy and UC has now approached them but they were a little uncertain about the men standing there because they both looked younger than the mama’s son they know…..
Good evening mama nnukwu, good evening mummy Efe, good evening sirs ….. The both girls greeted in unison……
Yes my daughters, how are you both doing?the elderly woman responded cheerfully…….

UC and Josy looked at the woman in surprise and amazement……

Young men, they are here, the older woman said calling the attention of the men….
Still stunned and surprised, feeling that they is a mistake or miss up somewhere……. *

Ben is willing to turn around because to him, he felt that he has nothing to be scared of or no co-ckroach in his cupboard but looking at the state his friend is, he felt that is not right to ignore him in a moment like these so he decided to act according to the leading of his friend….
Mama nnukwu, mummy Efe was wrong, why are the men acting in a weird manner, UC asked in a confused tone…
Yes mama, we even thought that they were your son’s until you tell us they are looking for us…. Mama, I think they are in a wrong direction, we have to go now is getting late already…… , Let’s go UC, Josy said…..

On hearing that, Emma now knows is not time to play the coward once again that he played before and loosed the love of his life….. He took a de-ep breath and turned in full speed…….
