Betty was sitting in her room, and eating her own breakfast by now Nathan had alre-ady gone to his office
After taking the last spoon of rice in her mouth she washed her plate, she took her paper and the next thing on her list was cleaning her master’s room
She stood up and took a long broom, after sweeping the floor and moping it, she sprayed the air freshener in the room and wiped her sweat
“I nee-d a shower” she murmured as she went to take a h0t shower, after the shower she went downstairs
Lady Kira was coming towards her
“Lady Kira” Betty smiled as she greeted her
“Young master didn’t conplian this morning, I bet you’re doing your job well” Kira said and Betty smiled
“How old are you dear?” Lady Kira asked
“22”
“22??” Kira eyes wi-den,
“But you look 19, wow that’s good and I love your smile” Kira said
“I’m flattered” Betty smiled
“So have you eaten yet?” Kira asked and Betty nodded positively
“Lady Kira when would my master be back?” Betty suddenly asked
“In the evening so until then feel free to walk around” Kira said and Betty nodded again

Betty was walking around the garden and watching some maids water it
“This mansion is really hvge” she muttered
“Betty” Patty waved and dropped the watering can
Betty moved to Patty
“So how’s your job?” Patty asked
“It’s okay, this flowers look so beautiful can I cut some?” Betty asked, without waiting she wanted to cut it
“No!” Patty yelled and Betty flin-ched
“You can’t, it belongs to young master late wife” Patty added
Betty looks lost and confused
“He was married??” She asked
“Yes to late miss Clarie, a very beautiful innocent lady, she died three years ago of heart disease” Patty said with teary eyes
“What?? Heart disease” Betty repeated
“Hmm. After she died young master hadn’t been himself, she even died with his unborn child” Patty said, cleaning the tears from her eyes
“She didn’t even gave birth to that child, she didn’t leave anything for him, she took his heart and died with it” Patty said crying
Although Betty hasn’t seen this Clarie before, but she got emotional that her eyes were teary, she just hvgged Patty and patted her back gently

“Sir, sir” Ava rushed to Nathan’s office with a bright smile
“Sir” she bowed as she put a file on his table
Nathan opened the file and smiled a little but it immediately disappeared
“This is good news” he said
“Yes sir, I can’t believe we won the event, we’ve been trying to get on Mr Chang list and now we are finally on t©p three” Ava smiled
“Who’s t©p three?” Nathan asked and Ava frowned
“Evan Jones sir”
“I know it’s always him, but we can try to work ha-rd next time to be on t©p one” Nathan said and stood up
“I have a meeting with Mr pack, take care” he turned to leave but st©pped and turned back
“Here my credit card, you and the whole employee nee-ds to celebr@te, it’s on me” he added before leaving with Luke he’s PA

Star mansion**
Betty and Patty strolled around the big mansion and it was quite fun, after that Betty went to her room,
She took her and dialed Cindy’s number
{Hey girlfriend} Cindy shouted
Betty can hear noises and music,, she can tell that Cindy is still working at the bar
{Hey Cindy, I just called to check up on you} Betty said
{Now you remember I exist, anyways how’s your job} Cindy asked
{It’s tiring but okay} Betty said with a shurrg
{plea-se visit me sometimes okay} Cindy pleaded and Betty nodded
{Hmm. I’ll try,, so Adam??} Betty asked
{Well Adam is working should I give him the phone?} Cindy asked tea-singly
{No don’t plea-se,, but did he ask of me} Betty said with a little bit of interest
{Ah.. nope} Cindy laughed and Betty frowned de-ep
They talked for some while before she called Freddy
{Yo.. maid} Freddy laughed and Betty rolled her eyes
{So how’s your school} she asked
{Sis it’s super big and they are a lot of rich kid here but Freddy is killing them with smartness} he laughed
{I’m happy for you,, anyways focus on your books and-
Betty was interrupted by a knock on her door
{I gotta go} she hanged up and left to get the door
“Young master is back let’s go greet him” a maid said and Betty immediately rushed out
She stood along with the lines of maids as they greeted him, Nathan just climbe-d the stairs to his room
He halted when he saw how neat his room was, the floor the walls the be-d everything were extremely shining and arranged
He smiled for half second which didn’t last before going to the bathroom,, it was extremely neat, she showered and changed
There was a big portrait of his late wife, were you’ll see her smiling sweetly, he ca-ressed it and smiled
“We are almost there hunny, soon we’ll enter t©p one of Mr Chang list, what you’ve always wanted” he said to the picture
Nathan sat on his be-d and then called for his maid, in a few minutes the door opened and Betty appeared
“My night tea and I’ll be having shrimps and snap peas stir fry, I want it spicy” he ordered and she nodded and left still with her head down
She c@mÂŁ back after some time
“Sir your dinner” she bowed
“Raise your head up” Nathan ordered,, he was suddenly tired of this bending head sh*t she’s always doing
Betty slowly raised her head up, immediately she saw him, she dropped the tray if food on the floor

“You!” Nathan murmured as he stood up, Betty was alre-ady shaking ha-rd ,, she wanted to open her mouth but no words c@m£ out
“What are you doing here?” Nathan asked calmly but angry
“I……” Betty’s word got stuck in her throat
“You have the guts to come here after every everything you’ve caused !” Nathan snapped
“I’m…sorry….I didn’t know” was all Betty could say
“You didn’t know?,you almost ruined my reputation” Nathan yelled a bit
“You know what?just get out, pack your things and leave you are fired!” Nathan said as he sat down on his be-d
Betty eyes bec@mÂŁ blury, a tear drop fell as she got on her knees
“plea-se punish me all you want but don’t fire me plea-se” she started crying while Nathan just looked at her, he stood up and went out of his room
“plea-se wait” Betty followed him, most of the maids started looking at them
“Lady Kira!” Nathan called angrily
“Sir” Kira bowed
“Why did you hire this woman that almost ruined my reputation” Nathan asked and Kira looked at Betty who was crying
“I’m sorry sir, I didn’t know she was the one, I just knew looked familiar” Kira said
“You failed Kira, no salary for you this month” Nathan said and Betty crawled to him still on her knees
“plea-se sir, I’ll leave but don’t punish lady Kira it’s not her fault” Betty pleaded in tears
“You…” Nathan was interrupted by a female voice
“What’s happening here”
Betty turned to see a grown woman with a young beautiful lady standing
“Good evening Mrs Davis” maids greeted
“Brother, what’s happening” the girl asked
“Ma’am, plea-se beg young master not to fire his personal maid…he can cut my salary for two months but he should leave her to do her job” Lady Kira pleaded
The girl rushed near Betty and raised her up
“A beautiful girl like you shouldn’t be kneeling on this cold ground, brother why do you wanna fire her?” She asked but Nathan didn’t say anything he just went to his room
“Come on clean those tears alre-ady and tell me what’s your name” she asked
“Betty” she replied in a tiny voice
“I’m Regina” she smiled
Her mother rushed to Betty
“I’m sorry about my son’s behavior my dear but don’t worry, you can keep your job!”
“Thank you ma’am” Betty bowed as she went to her room
“I think I like her “Regina said to her mother as soon as Betty left
Betty was washing her face in the bathroom when she heard a knock on the door, she opened the door and met a maid
“Young master request for you” the maid bowed and left. Betty sighed as she moved to Nathan’s room
“Sir” she bowed, Nathan was just standing with his hands in his pocket
“You are lucky that the press brou-ght down that matter and you are also lucky that you can continue your job because of my mom and sister, now cleanup this mess” he said pointing at the broken plates and food stains on the ground
“Thank you master” Betty bowed and left
She c@mÂŁ back with a broom and mop with a bucket, she bent and used her hands to pick the broken plates while Nathan was just sitting on his be-d and watching her.
Betty winced a little when she accidentally cut her hand.she bit herl-ips ha-rd so Nathan won’t notice it but it was too late
“Come here” she heard Nathan ordered
“I won’t repeat myself”he added and she c@m£ to him still facing down. He went to his drawal and brou-ght out an antiseptic with a small towel
“No matter how annoying you are, I can’t risk my health because you are the one who will be preparing my meals” he said and ru-bbe-d a little antiseptic in her hands.
Betty winced but he just pressed the towel ha-rder on her hands after that he bandaged it
“You can leave, the maids will clear this up” he said flatly and Betty bowed and left

NEXT DAY***
CRYSTAL COLLEGE°°°
A mid aged man wearing glas-ses was looking at a test paper repeatedly,
“Hmm”he shook his head and clear his throat
“Dennis” he called and a young man entered his office
“Sir, you called for me?”
“Yeah, call Evelyn Brown” the man said and Dennis nodded and left

“Wow Evelyn, looks expensive” Tara said
“Yeah I just bought it, I like trending stuffs, I’m even planning on buying this expensive boot” a young girl who looked 18 said
“Can you lend me this bag just to snap as my profile pics” Tara asked
“Nope I’ll take it for the red carpet show, my sister would be there” Evelyn smiled
“Evelyn?” Dennis called and she looked at him
“What!”
” Mr Garry calls for you” Dennis said and Evelyn rolled her eyes
“I’d be back girls” she said as she went to the principal office
“You called for me” Evelyn said rolling her eyes
“Your maths is becoming too poor” principal Garry said
“So?”
“So you’ll repeat this clas-s next week and your ticket to join the fashion parade event would be cancelled” he said
“How does maths concern fashion, anyway how much?” Evelyn asked
“No bribing I’ll just give you a list of guys that would tutor you” he said
“Okay I’m listening”
“We have Jake Adams, Kyle Williams and Freddy Shane, so who do you want” he asked
“I think I’ll go with the last one Freddy I love that name” Evelyn said
“Good it’s starting next week” principal Garry smiled while Evelyn rolled her eyes and walked away
STAR MANSION**
Betty was mopping Nathan’s room after that she sprayed the air freshener and walked out, she showered and went to stroll out for a while
“You’re Betty right??” Regina asked coming towards her
“Good evening Miss Regina” Betty bowed
“Hey no nee-d, call me Regina” she rolled her eyes
“Regina” Betty smiled
“Cool let’s sit in the garden”Regina said
“But maids are not allowed to sit there” Betty said
“Who said you’re a maid huh, you are too pretty to be called a maid…how old are you??” Regina asked
“I’m 22” Betty answered and Regina g@sped
“You are older than me!! I’m 20, so tell me do have a b©yfri£nd” Regina asked
“Well no” Betty cheeks turned red
“Really but you are damn pretty” Regina pouted
“You are also pretty do you have a b©yfri£nd?” Betty asked and Regina shook her head
“I haven’t found the right guy yet”
Both Betty and Regina spent time together until Nathan got back
“Let’s go greet my brother” Regina smiled as she rushed with Betty
“Brother” Regina shouted as he was climbing the staircase, Nathan paused and looked back.
He looked at Betty and as their eyes met, Betty felt some tinglings in her stomach she quic-kly looked down..
