CHAPTER 20 ~~
“Evan he has won the good side of Aunt Sansan” Ryan whined over the phone.
“What are you saying? It hasn’t been up to ten minutes we finished talking over the phone. What are you saying now?” Evan asked tiredly.
“Just like you suggested I left for Deena’s room but when I got there, Tristan was telling Aunt Sansan his true feelings for Deena. Evan are you sure I can have a chance with Deena?”
“Why are you asking me a question like that? The question should, are you really sure you have feelings for Deena?” Evan asked.
“I know exactly what I feel for her, I’m just not the trouble type”
“Ryan are you accepting Tristan’s feelings for Deena? What on earth did you even hear that’s changing your mindset?”
“If they both love each other then what’s the use of interfering. It’s not like you can for-ce love” Ryan said tiredly and Evan rolled his eyes.
“Now this is one problem about you. You gave up on things easily. If you were going to end up giving up like this then you should have done that long time ago. Why would you even jump to conclusions, Deena didn’t tell you she loves Tristan or have she?” Evan asked coldly.
“No, she haven’t but the look in her eyes said it all”
“Of course it’s natural that the look in her eyes is pas-sionate. They’ve only started dating, they’re probably still fli-rting with each other. Now go back to Deena’s room, we’ve known Aunt Sansan for decades, whose side do you think she will be on? You just have to make your feelings visible for her to notice” Evan suggested.
“Of course Aunt Sansan will be on my side but it doesn’t look easy as it sounds. I will go see to it, I shouldn’t jump to conclusions before even trying” Ryan said as he summoned back his courage.
“Finally! Go do your thing and don’t bother calling me for the next two hours. I’ve a shot, work is exhausting as it stands but I’ve made out time from my schedule to speak with you. You should know you’re very lucky but everyone thinks I’m the bad guy because I get too honest”
Ryan chuckled on hearing that from Evan.
“I don’t think you’re too honest. You’re just too cold. I’m your only sibling but you never show care unless you want to gossip” Ryan blurted and Evan smi-rked.
“And that’s why we’re twin, you know me too well. Anyways thanks for the heads up in Deena’s life. I’ve wanting to hear something interesting about her and our conversation was worth. Don’t forget to use the suggestions I gave you and good luck with it bro. I’m hanging up” Evan said and hung up.

At the movie shooting ground where Evan was.
Evan stood up from the rocking chair he was sitting after his makeup was done.
“Nana after this shot, what else is on my schedule?” Evan asked his as-sistant.
“You have nothing left, oh you nee-d to visit your mum” She said and Evan looked at her a bit confused.
“Why’s visiting my mum on the schedule as well?” Evan asked staring at her.
“Your mum made me fix that on your Tuesdays schedules and today happens to be Tuesday so you will go visit her today” Nana reminded and Evan rolled his eyes.
“Are you working for my mum or me? Anyways we can reschedule the visit for tomorrow. I have somewhere very important I have to go after this shot so give Layla’s manager a call. I nee-d to see her today” Evan said with a malicious smile.
“Layla? But what’s the meeting for and why are we going throu-ghher manager if you’re just going to meet up with her?” She asked curiously.
“Why do you have so many questions? Going throu-ghher manager makes me feel a little important and Layla’s always busy on Tuesdays, she’s either visiting a friend or she’s shopping or doing other things but who cares just give her manager a call. I’m meeting her in a grand entrance, let’s see how she reacts to what I’m going to tell her” Evan smiled.
DEENA’S POV
“Dear, I will go make you something delicious at my suite” Mum said with a smile.
“Mum, you’re staying in a temporal building?” I asked curiously.
“Of course and you’re coming with me after your shots this week. You nee-d quality rest at home but I don’t know if it’s a good idea for us to fly back to China” Mum said worriedly and just then Tristan came into the room.
“Ma, I’ve got a better idea. How about we fly back to Guangzhou, I know an orthopedic surgeon, she’s very good in this field” Tristan said and mum smiled.
“I would love that and Guangzhou is closer to home. We can get your treatment done there. When are we flying back Deena? When do you think is convenient for us to leave?” Mum asked with a smile.
“Mum, I think we should ask the doctor about it but Tristan you never told me you’re interested in surgery as well” I said and he smiled.
Why did I suddenly say that? Am I being curious about who the doctor is?
“She’s a relative but I promise to introduce you to her properly when we meet. She’s excited to meet you” He said softly and mum winked at me.
“I will go see the doctor now. Take care of Deena while I’m away” Mum said and Tristan nodded.
“Yes ma”
“Take care dear” Mum said and hu-gged me.
“I’m hoping to get better results in the future so don’t disappoint me. He’s a good man” Mum whispered in my ears.
“Mum what do you mean better results?” I whispered a bit confused and she smiled after breaking the hu-g.
“Byebye” I waved and she went out of the room.
Tristan walked to the bed and sat next to me. He hu-gged me lightly.
“Did something happen? You’re a bit emotional and you didn’t tell me you had a suggestion of me going back to China” I said lowly.
“I had it in mind but when your mum said it, I thought it was right for me to talk about it. I’m hoping you get back on your feet so you can go back to racing, we’ve got to win the championship” Tristan encouraged and I smiled.
“Do you think I will be able to go back to my normal self if I get the treatment there in Guangzhou?” I asked feeling a bit worried about the suggestion.
“She’s good at her job and luckily she told me to bring you over, I know she would look after you” He said.
“You trust her that much?”
“I do and when you meet her I’m pretty sure you would trust her as well” He smiled and I nodded.
“Then let’s give it a shot but how about your work here in Spain?” I asked curiously.
“I will soon be done with that as well and that’s why I suggested for you to fly back to China, although I don’t think I will always be there for you in Guangzhou but I will feel at ease if she’s the one looking after you. How about we fly back to China this Friday?” He suggested and I nodded.
“Anytime is fine with me as long as we’re together” I said smiling widely and Ryan came into the room.
“Deena how are you feeling now?” He asked about to place his hand on my forehead but I Tristan made me lay down.
“She’s a bit tired. She nee-ds to take a nap, I think you can come check up on her later” Tristan said and Ryan looked away.
“Deena’s my best friend and I don’t see anything wrong with me sitting next to her as she takes a nap. Deena do you have a problem with that?” Ryan asked with a smile and Tristan fixed his eyes on me.
Why does it feel like I’m being fixed at the center? Should I agree to Ryan or side with Tristan but it would be a bit embarras-sing if I tell Ryan to leave.. what to do??
“Of course I don’t have a problem with that but I don’t want to inconvenience you. You watching me sleep is a bit too much for me to ask” I said politely and Tristan rolled his eyes.
“I can’t just watch you stay all by yourself. Tristan will be leaving for his business soon and it’s not safe for you to stay alone. What if you nee-d to get something” Ryan said and I nodded.
“You’re right about that then I guess I don’t have any other choice but to accept your offer”
“Who said I’m going out today?” Tristan cut in and just then his phone started ringing.
He looked at the phone and looked at me.
“I take back what I just said. I have some work to take care of. Deena you have to take care of yourself while I’m out, I will be back before you even know it” Tristan said with a smile and ki-ssed me on my forehead.
“Take care as well. I’m hoping to see you soon” I said lowly and he winked at me then left the room.
“Go ahead and take a nap” Ryan smiled and I nodded, closing my eyes slowly.
“Does he make you happy? You smile so brightly whenever he’s around” Ryan said out of the blue and I opened my eyes.
“Who are you talking about?” I asked a bit confused.
“Nevermind, he just doesn’t give a good vibe and that’s why I’m worried about you” He added.
“Are you talking about Tristan?” I asked.
“Yes, he’s the only one who makes you smile brightly like that other than me. Does this mean I’m losing a friend? Since you’ve got a perfect boyfriend now” Ryan said lowly and I smi-rked.
“Why would you even say that Ryan? We’ve been best friends since we were little so why would you think I will forget about you now I’ve gotten a boyfriend”
“Whenever you got hurt in the past, I used to be by your side always and now it seems like someone else have taken my place, I’m a bit bothered with that” Ryan said lowly.
“Of course not Ryan, why are you sounding this way? Did something happen at home?” I asked concerned.
“Nothing happened. Anyways that will be all for today, you should take a nap now” He said covering me properly with the blanket.
What was Ryan actually insinuating? Is he jealous or he is worried or he doesn’t trust Tristan? His attitude just now really feels off. I uttered in my head and just then someone knocked at the door.
“Yes” I answered and he came in.
“Devon!” Ryan and I called out in surprise.
“Do you have any idea how worried I was? How are you feeling now?” Devon asked curiously as he ran to my bed and held my hands gently.
“I think you should let go of her hand, Deena was about to get a nap so I don’t think you came at the right time” Ryan said shoving Devon’s hands from mine.
