Agnes looked at her mother from the glass in between. She bit her lip hard and gave her a cold look
“What are you doing here?” Agnes asked coldly. Mrs Peter wiped her tears that managed to escape from her eyes. She had a weak and depressing look.
“I brought you warm rice. I know the rice they offer you here are stony. So, just eat the one I bought forā
“Mum? Did you come here to see a pathetic look on my face?”
“Wh… What?”
“You’re wrong. I am still okayā
“No!!…Mrs Peter voice trailed off.
“I know you didn’t do it. I know you, Agnes. You would never do such”
“Huh? Ha Ha! What do you possibly know about me? I, being a harlot? Or a club stripper?”
“What?”
…..You’re Lying!”
“MumāShe paused and gave a smile.
….Remember? My vigils? My choir practice? My church meetings? There were all a lie. Club was my thing!”

“You don’t know anything about me! You never knew. And you have never known!”
“Then why? Why did you hide it? At least, Giselle was sincere about her lifestyle”
“So? You wanted 2 black sheep in the house? You should wonder how the others would look at you? Mrs Deaconess Peter? I pretended to keep a little smile on your face but I guess, It is.. What it is”
“Listen! You can still change”
“No. I haven’t done my last deed yet”

“Mum? Won’t you leave? I think I’ve given you enough spoilers for the day” Agnes whispered as she stood up. She looked behind and signalled to the prison warden who came to escort her.
Mrs Peter kept watching her with tears as she walked away. Agnes stopped and turned to face her mother.
“And mum? For your information, They don’t feed us Stony Rice. It’s more like Watery ones” She smiled and left as her mother busted out in painful tears.

It was a Friday night. Samantha stared at the mirror and smiled heartily. She opened her big black bag and brought out her make ups. Yeah! She had decided to reveal who she truly is to Newton. She prayed he would’nt hate her too much. She applied powder, and little red lipstick. She gave a satisfactory smile and stood up.
“The last ingredient! My dress!” She whispered to herself, turning her body side by side.
She went through the bag again and brought a beautiful black dress. She changed into it immediately and got a womanly look. She was stunning! Beautiful! Everything was perfect. She smiled and inhaled deeply.
She checked the time. It was 9:25pm already.
“Oww… It’s time to go! I spent enough time already!” She gushed as she wore her flat gold shoes which fitted her well. She left the room in a Swift and met her father at the door. He looked at her and smiled.
“Is this Samantha?” He asked, still wearing a smile. Samantha couldn’t help but chuckle.
“You look beautiful. He’s gonna be stunned” He added
“Wh… What?” She stuttered, surprisedly.
“I know you are going to see him” He whispered
“How did you know that?”
“Why wouldn’t I? Parents knows things like this. It’s normal”
“So,Do I look beautiful?”
“Very!”
“I’m gonna tell him the truth”
“That’s the best, sweetie”
“Will he hate me?”
“He won’t. Even if he tries to push you away. He will come running back to you”
“Dad?”
“Huh?”
“What if he actually hates me and doesn’t come running back to me? What should I do?”
“Huh?? Do you like him that much”
“Uh-huh!”
“Hmmm. If he doesn’t comes back. Always, Pester him till he takes you back!” He replied laughing.
“Aiish! What kinda option is that? Dad.. Wish me luck”
“You have all the luck you need. I also wish you more. Bye Darling, You can come tomorrow morning if you want!” He said in a loud voice as he waved to her. Samantha laughed and walked out of the house.

Newton was in the sitting room when he heard a bell ring loudly. However, He was lazy to get the door. He sighed and looked around. Brad wasn’t at home and Blaze went to get some things down the street.
Newton stood up, walked to the door and opened it. He stared, trying to find an emotion. He was speechless also.
“Wh… What… are.. you do… ing here?” He gathered his courage.
“Why? Can’t your ex girlfriend pay you a visit? Or is it because, I was an ex convict?” Myles asked, wearing a cornered smile.
“No.. Huh, No.. I’m..just, kinda surprised”
“Can I come in?” She asked
“What?”
Myles laughed and pushed him from the door,lightly. She closed the door with her heels from behind and it locked immediately. She looked at him and smiled.
She went closer to him and hugged him tightly. She rested her head on his chest. She felt his heart racing.
“I wonder why your heart is racing? Is it because you still love me?” She whispered closing her eyes gently. Newton blinked his eyes nervously, as he raised his arms above her shoulders not responding to the hug.
“Newton.. I missed you” She whispered again.
“Huh?” He asked in a whisper
“Let’s get back together, Newton.. What do you say?” She asked, hugging him tighter. She raised her head and looked at him.
“Newton? Get back together again with me” She smiled. Newton looked at her and swallowed hard.
“Myles?” He called
“Huh?”
He was about to reply when he got interrupted by the loud ringing bell.
“Huh? I’m gonna get that first. Seems Blaze is back” Newton tittered, as he disengaged from her. Myles watched him as he walked to the door. She held her bag tightly and followed him.
Newton slowly opened the door. As soon as the door half-opened, He met with someone. Someone he had never met before, but looked familiar?.
“Who are…. His voice trailed off, his smile vanished. His face became sullen.
“Newton? It’s me… Samuel, Actually… It’s Samantha” She rushed her words, a bit carelessly
“What?”
“Let’s talk.. I’m gonna explain everything to you inside” She spoke out, nervously.
“Sorry. I don’t know you” His voice was cold.
“Huh?”
“Leave!”
“Newton.. It’s me. It’s me, Sam”
“I said leave!” He yelled as Myles opened the door widely. She stared at Samantha.
“Huh? You look somewhat familiar. Have we met somewhere before?” Myles asked instantly. Samantha didn’t reply. She only had her eyes on Newton . She felt tears building up in her eyes.
“Newton ? Is she someone you know?”
“No. I don’t know her” His eyes were burning. His voice was really cold and harsh. He clenched his fist staring at Samantha.
“New…
“This is my girl!āHe paused and pulled Myles shoulder closely with his arm.
….I don’t want a fan stalker here!”
“Can you just listen to me, first?”
Newton sighed and pulled Myles waist to his body. He looked at her face and began to kiss her deeply. Samantha watched and couldn’t help it anymore. She felt hot tears running down her face.
“Leave now. Or you are gonna be humiliated by me!” Newton thundered
“NoāHer voice shaked,
….I don’t care. I’m going nowhere! I love you, Newton .. I really do! Just give me a minute to explain, Jeballll”
Newton became so furious and pushed her violently. However, She was saved by someone from the hard veranda. She looked at the strong arm holding her. Then, to the Savior. It was Blaze. He had a pity and sad look on his face.
Samantha hurriedly stood up and tried going back to Newton but it was too late! He shut the door loudly and angrily on her face. Samantha busted into tears.
“What am I gonna do?” She cried in tears and kept pushing the door even though, It looked useless.
“It’s okay….. You are just wasting your energy and time, so just stop it already” Blaze whispered
“No. I have to try! Newton!! Are you there?? Please, Listen to me… I’m begging you!…. Blaze, Please plead on my behalf. Tell him I’m sorry. I love him,Blaze…I really do”
Blaze sighed deeply and held her clenched fist which kept hitting the hard door.
“It’s fine.. Oh my Gosh, Just take a look at your face. You’re ruining your beautiful make up with your tears ” He whispered, staring at her from up close. He lifted his hand to her face and began to try up her tears.
“It’s okay.. Samantha, It’s okay”
Samantha cried the more and kept her face on his chest, she hugged him tightly since she didn’t know what next to do. She felt down casted,terrible, weak and devastated already.
“What am I gonna do now?” Her voice trembled due to the tears. It was also vague as well since she had rested her head, including her mouth on his broad chest.
“Samantha? Do you wanna go somewhere else? I’m gonna make you happy” He started hugging her tight.
“Where?” She asked looking at him.
“Where you can be happy once again. A place of bright light and glittering stars” Blaze replied, whispering. Samantha looked at him, in silence though the tears refused to stop flowing. She finally realized what she was doing and broke the tight hug.
“Do you wanna come with me?” He asked as he stretched his arm towards her. Samantha looked at the offered hand and bit her lips in thought. She inhaled deeply, looked at him and forced a quick smile.
“Okay… Let’s go” She finally replied and held onto his hand, while Blaze smiled heartily.
