“Cara!!” Dave called and spranged up from the be-d
Last night was really a bad moment for him, it took him by the grace of God and Nick for him to be able leave cara’s place
But he actually left when he saw that Cara was in a good health again
Nick had told him who did that to Cara and he can’t believe it, that Mary had such an evil heart
Dave kept contemplating how Mary had the heart to do such an evil thing to her fellow woman
Dave has made up his mind to go talk to her, he doesn’t want to arrest her because of the friendsh!pthey shared
But if Mary proved to be stubborn then he will show her his real color

Just then his phone started ringing, he checked the caller and it was Steve

Mrs Edwards gave Josh a heavy sl@p on the face
“How could you!?” Mrs Edwards asked with her eyes turning red
She was in so much in rag, she can’t believe the son she gave birth to can actually do that.
“Mom you sl@pped me!!?, do you know what I don’t regret a thing on what I did” Josh said and got up Immediately.
Mrs Edwards gave him another sl@p across the face
“Mom calm down” Dave gently said as he held his mom
He too wanted to punch this devil on the face but he was actually holding himself
“What kind of blood runs throu-gh your veins Josh, how could you be so cruel!” Mrs Edwards yelled not minding she is in the police station
“He is a lunatic mom” Dave said clenching his fist
If he had time he would have strangled Josh there and then, a guy who killed their father, a guy who blackmailed his ex girl friend and killed her, a guy who tried to kill the current woman he loved so much.
Dave was loosing it, he really nee-ds to get out of this place before he does something bad
“Your time is over” A hvge police man said as he dragged Josh up from the sit
“Get me a lawyer mom” Josh said with a pleading face

The police man dragged Josh away
“Wait!!” Dave said as the police man halted immediately

Dave was with Steph , no food was on the table nor drinks
Dave has guilt written allover his face
After Dave left the police station with his Mom, he wanted to rush and go see Cara
But suddenly he got a call from an unknown number telling him to meet her up at the restaurant
When he got there he couldn’t believe his eyes
“Hello Dave is been a long time” Steph said smiling, she was happy to see Dave again
“Yes Steph, you…you are alive…I thought my brother…” Dave couldn’t finish his words because Steph caught him off immediately
“Yes he tried to kill me but I was saved by my brother Charles” Steph said
“Your brother Charles, you have a brother, I thought you are an orphan” Dave asked surprised
“Yes Dave but it a miracle, Charles works for Josh, so he appointed him to kill me when I found out what Josh was planning but at the middle of the killing Charles discovered that am his sister throu-gh the birth mark on my nĀ£Ā¢k, he also had the same mark…seems our mother abandoned us and we were taken to different orphanage homes”
Steph explained tears now dripping down her eyes
“Am so sorry, thank God you survived, I should have listened to you, i should have known you were un-der my brother’s control, am so sorry” Dave apologized
“Is okay Dave, I un-derstand, every thing that happens have a reason, plea-se Dave don’t report my brother to the police he never liked Josh but he had know other option because Josh’s gun was always on his head, I had that Josh men has been arrested especially that Louis” Steph said as she held Dave’s hand
“Where is Charles now?” Dave asked
“Out of the town” Steph replied
“Thank goodness I will keep your secret with me Steph” Dave said with an as-suring face
Steph heaved a sigh of relief and re-leased Daves hands
“Thanks Dave” she said and smiled

**CARA’S HOUSE**
ONE Month later
Josh has been sĀ£nt to life imprisonment with ha-rd labour including Louis
Mary has left the country after been strictly confronted and warned by Dave
She apologized to him and left the country to no return
Cara, Inna and their mother heard about what Josh Edwards did and couldn’t digest it
They couldn’t believe they accepted help from the devil himself

Cara and Inna were preparing themselves in their rooms, their bĀ©yfriĀ£nds is officially going to introduce themselves to their mother
Inna had alre-ady visited Nick’s mother and the woman welcomed her well, even Dazel, Hades is no speaker of love, so he never showed up
Cara has been also introduced by Dave to his mother, and the woman also welcomed her well
So is the time their bĀ©yfriĀ£nds introduced themselves to their own mother and is today!!!

The door bell ringed
“Omg they are here!” Inna said feeling so existed
“How do I look Inna” Cara asked looking at herself in the mirror

When they c@mĀ£ down the stairs laughing and giggling, their mother was alre-ady at the door opening it
Immediately Mrs Kira opened the door two breath taking men walked inside, greeting the woman who opened the door for them with a smile
Mrs Kira g@sps for breath and nearly loosed her balance, but Nick caught her by the hand

Cara and Inna were struck where they are with their mouth wi-de open
“Dave where is Nick?” Inna asked after finding her voice

“Cara, Inna you didn’t tell me a god is visiting us?” Mrs Kira finally asked after settling herself
Nick wore a red suit, his hair is no longer long, he had it cut, he was a very breathtaking guy, why Dave had a blue suit and was also breathtaking but Nick’s beauty was out of this world

And Mrs Kira sat at the head table where she can be watching the glorious sight at her family

Nick chuckled and thought that this woman doesn’t know he is older than her generations

“Mom he is 28” Inna said smiling
“Wow really so Dave is older than him, Dave is 30 right?” Mrs Kira asked
“Yes am 30 ma” Dave replied with a smile, as he looked towards Nick sm-irking at him

“You all are welcome to my family, so when are you putting rings on my daughters f!ngers” Mrs Kira asked with a grin

Nick and Dave too their girlfriends on a vacation at the beach side
Cara was cu-mddled on daves arms in which they cracked jokes and laughed not minding the burning rag beside them

“What is taking Nick so long from getting the watermelon?” Inna asked pouting herl-ips
“Maybe he is getting souls or he caught a pretty looking young ghost” Cara said teasing, still stuck on Dave’s arms

“Yes little chicken” Cara replied holding her laugh

“Omg am here little chicken” Nick said with a sm-irk behind Inna’s ears
“Am going to destroy your handsome face today Mr r@pĀ£r!!” Inna yelled and charged towards Nick in which he ran away
“Come back here Mr r@pĀ£r!!” Inna yelled running after Nick not minding the big hat on her hair
“If you come any closer am gonna r@pĀ£ you little chicken, hope you won’t die in my hands” Nick said with a sm-irk and slowed his pace
“Ahh!!” Inna wanted to hit him but Nick caught her wrist and pinned her against the tree

After k!ss!ngfor sometime, Nick re-leased herl-ips

Inna sat up and made Dave to look at her
She held his face with her two hands looking de-ep into his eyes
“I wished that we live together forever, that we never drift ap@rt Dave, that our love should be growing day by day”
“That’s my wish also, to always be with you forever because you are my greatest gift Cara” Dave said
“I LOVE YOU” Cara said
Dave couldn’t believe his ears, this is the very first time Cara said these three magically words to him
