Dave was immediately interrupted, he stiffened his heart burning with anger, this is the last person he wanted to see here and now
“Mary, let’s go” Dave said getting up without looking at Steph who stood before him with sadness written all over her face
“Who is she ?” Mary asked as she got up picking her red purse, she looked at Steph with confusion
“Someone who isn’t important, don’t worry” Dave said as he shut Steph a stare, that is full of disgust…Steph eyes wi-de-ned at how Dave looks at her…her own Dave…well she deserves it.
Dave walked pas-s her, like she never existed followed by Mary…Steph swallowed ha-rd , this is her chance to talk to Dave… because he aren’t taking her calls or replying her messages…she won’t give up on him
“Dave can you at least hear me out”
Dave halted on his tracks as he approached her with disgust and hatred, he stood before her as he leaned towards her right ear, and whispered
“Do you know what Steph?, you disgust me, I hate you, like I really hate you, so you better give up with your explanations and go be with your new lover…good bye”
Dave looked at her with anger one last time as he existed the place with Mary…who wore a confuse face on the scene since.
Steph stood still like a statue, with a teary eyes as tears flowed down her flu-shed cheeks, she lost him…she has lost her darling and caring b©yfri£ndall because of Josh, who was trying to blackmail her of mistake she did three months ago.
She immediately wiped her tears as she said
“I hate you Josh, I will never forgive you”

Dave c@m£ back to the company with Mary
Throu-ghout their ride back, nob©dy talk to each other, Mary un-derstood everything without anyone telling her, she definitely knew that Steph is Dave’s lover, At any given time, she would take a glance from Dave, whose face was so-re.
‘This Steph of a girl actually got her oppas heart, that will actually make his heart broken, well she better back off now, because she is here now’ she thought to herself

Dave st©pped the car at the company’s garage, as they both alighted the car.
“Mary dear, I will call my as-sistant to drop you off, I actually have a lot to do at the office” Dave said with his hands in his pocket
“Don’t worry oppa, I c@m£ with my car”
“Really, you can now drive?” Dave asked with a wi-de-ned eyes, the Mary he knew is always scared of ri-ding car
“Yes of course, I can now drive
Guess what?, am no longer scared of driving” Mary said proudly with smiles
“Wow, that’s cool”
“But I got my driver to drive me home”
“Wooo, that means you are still scared?” Dave asked
“Haha, no oppa, my manger insisted I go with my driver”
“Okay I un-derstand, I forgot my little Mary is now a celebrity”
“Are you okay oppa, about what happened back there?” Mary asked immediately changing the t©pic.. in which Dave’s face changed immediately into so-re again
“Yeah Mary am fine”
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
“No Mary, I have to start going now, like I have alot of work inside now”
“Okay oppa, I un-derstand…but wait are you like pushing me away?” Mary asked folding her arms
Dave smiled as he pat her hair
“Huh, am no longer a child, you got to st©p doing that” Mary said feigning angry face
Dave laughed as he bid her bye and walked inside.
He entered the elevator, he was about to press the bu-tton numbers…when all of sudden his stalkers appeared, he ignored them and continue with what he was doing
“Hello Mr handsome, how are you today” Cara asked smiling, but got no reply, her smile immediately faded away, ‘he is ignoring me because of that girl’ Cara thought as she clenched her fists in anger
“Mr Dave at least reply us…we are just trying to be nice” Inna said as Cara nodded her head in agreement
Dave looked down at little Inna, in which she blinks her eyes childish, Dave smiled at the little girl, whom he found amusing since he met them
“Am fine little chicken” Dave said with a sm-irk
“Am not a chicken”
“Well that’s what Nick calls you”
“My name is Inna, that’s the name Miss Naive gave”
Inna winched in pains immediately because Cara has pinched her, Dave looked at Cara who smiled at him to cover up what she did, Dave looked away immediately as he said
“You gave her a nice name Miss Naive” Dave complimented
“My name is Cara not miss Naive, have you seen what you have caused Inna”
“But the name suits, because you are stupid and Naive” Dave said sm-irking
Just then the elevator st©pped, and Dave stepped outside, walking to his office
“Inna did he just had a conversation with us” Cara asked
“No, he had a bath with us” Inna replied rolling her eyes as she too stepped outside the elevator, in which Cara followed behind

Dave walked into his office and saw someone he didn’t expect to see, he just clenched his fist, as his face changed into a serious one
“To what do i owe this visit” Dave asked as he sat down, looking at Josh with a face full of what do you want
“Is that how to welcome your guest little brother…am not even your guest…am your brother Dave” Josh said smiling
Just then Cara and Inna appeared folding their arms looking at Josh
“I don’t like him, Mr handsome” Cara said
“Me neither” Inna added
“I hate him more than you guys”
Dave added also
“What did you say Dave, who are you talking to, you are acting werid again” Josh said looking around
“What do you want?” Dave ignored his question
“I c@m£ to see my little brother’s company, on how he is faring”
“Well what did you see?” Dave asked
“He showed to be the Dave I always knew” Josh answered
“Or you always bulied and envied, well I can’t be you who depends on dad’s company…another man sweat in other to survive, you always reap where you didn’t sow” Dave said with disgust
Josh let out a thun-derous laugh, laughing out so ha-rd , Cara and Inna looked at each other, with the looks of what is wrong, they looked at Dave, in which he isn’t laughing
“Is he insane?” Inna asked
“Definitely, this is a sign” Cara answered
“Should I deal with him, Mr handsome?” Cara asked because
“Be my guest” Dave answered looking intently at Josh who was still laughing
Thus Cara walked to wear Josh was sitting as he was still laughing, she leaned down to his ear as she b!owed a warm breeze inside his ear…Josh paused immediately and gave himself a sl@p on the ear
“What…what just happened?” He asked looking around
It was now Dave’s turn to laugh out loud, Cara and Inna also joined in the laugh

Dave laughed out so loud on Josh’s reaction to what Cara did to him, he now admired the ghosts…they are were actually entertaining, well Josh deserves that.
Dave’s laugh actually pissed Josh off as he stood up immediately, he placed his hands on Dave’s glas-s desk with a dark face and said
“Seems you have gotten over what Happened to you thirteen years back?”
Immediately he said those words Dave freezed, his memory flashed back on that faithful day, his expression turned into a child who had a very terrible dream…Josh chuckled, he actually got him were he nee-ded him most
He sized the opportunity as he leaned his face more closer to Dave’s own as he said in a whisper
“Do you know what was my wish till today?, My wish is that you never returned back that day”
Dave was stiffened were he was, he never imagined that Josh can say such a thing to him, well he knew he was evil, starting from that very faithful day he abandoned him on that snowy day to freeze to dealth.
When he c@m£ back after been saved by the Grim reaper which is Nick, Josh actually denied everything saying that Dave actually went missing so he c@m£ home thinking he too has gone home, since then Dave bec@m£ concious of how evil Josh is but he never imagined he actually wished him dead not untill today.
“See you again little brother” Josh said with a mocking smile and left the office.
Immediately he step outside the office his demeanor changed instantly, the smile on his face faded away.
Dave at the other hand was muted in his sit, his eyes turned red…Cara and Inna watched the scene in awe, they don’t un-derstand anything Josh said, but they definitely knew that is something that is terrible, they stay mute without saying anything , just then Dave got up immediately which startled Inna and Cara.
He walked towards the wall as he hit it with anger, he continued hitting it, venting out his anger and sorrow.
Inna and Cara were shocked on his reaction all of a sudden, they were stilled and couldn’t move from their sp©t, cara’s heart hitched on Dave’s dilemma
She hasn’t seen him like this, whatever Josh had said to him was really de-ep.
After venting out his anger on the wall, he slumped on the ground, Cara disappeared immediately and appeared infront of him squ-atting down.
“Are you fine Dave?” She asked him so gently, this is actually the first she has called him by his name, rather than Mr handsome, Inna stood one side watching them…just then cara’s eyes landed on Dave’s hand…she took it immediately in hers
“You…you are bleeding” She said with a wi-de-ned eyes looking at Dave’s face who wore no concern on the pains going throu-gh his veins, he immediately retreated his hands from Cara’s own…but Cara took it immediately again as she observed it
“You have to get it treated Dave, don’t be stubborn!” Cara ordered immediately with a serious face, which got Dave’s attention, as he stared with a wi-de eyes ‘Is she actually commanding him’ he thought to himself
Inna wasn’t left from the shock
‘Is this the Cara she knew’ she thought to herself

In the evening time Josh was in a h0tel room when he heard a knock
“Come in” Josh said with a calm voice as he led on the be-d with his hands over his head
The door flunged open and Steph step inside with a long face, immediately Josh saw her a smile pla-yed on her face
“What do you want again josh?”Steph asked folding her arms
“Why do you think I called you here, I missed you been un-derneath me sweetheart” Josh said shamelessly
“I really want to tell you this that I have given up, if you want to blackmail me go ahead and do so, I did rather be in jail than to be with you…this game of ours is over…am done Josh! Am done!, You are actually ma-king my life miserable!” Steph yelled angrily and turned to leave immediately, but Josh was fas-ter than her as he held her ti-ghtly with his eyes burning with lvst
“You don’t have an escape route again Steph” he said and carried her immediately and f0rç£fully threw her on the be-d, in which Steph struggled to free herself from him but Josh was more stronger than her
“Let me go Josh, leave me alone now!” Steph yelled struggling
“You better behave yourself now or you are leaving this place with a so-re b©dy, I will have you r0ûghly in the s-en-se that you won’t have the legs to walk again” Josh warned with a red eye, Steph stilled immediately…scared that he will actually deal with her, well is just today…after today she will mark out anything that concerns this devil out of her life, if he likes let him report her to the police
“Good girl” Josh said with a smile, as he had his way to her b©dy the way wanted.

Steph was in the bathroom cleaning herself up when suddenly she heard a conversation Josh was quietly having with someone over the phone, well she is not a type to eavesdrop on someone’s conversations but…
Well she went near the door and putted her ear on it
“Dr Stan what are you waiting for, deal with the old man alre-ady” Josh said over the phone quietly
“Hmm” Steph hmmed and leaned her ear more closer
“What do you mean by that, I have paid you a hvge amount of money…and remember I have something that could destroy your image…so pl@yyour cards well and I will pl@ymine as well, get rid of the old man alre-ady”
“Hmm, what is he up to” Steph muttered as she eavesdrop the more
“Put the injection on him alre-ady…that man arnt my father, this is the last warning, Dr Stan” Josh said angrily and hanged up the phone
Steph held her mouth, she couldn’t believe what she just heard,’ how could he be so mean’ she thought to herself, she couldn’t dilute what she just heard, ‘so Josh is the reason why his father is in the hospital, not only that he wants to kill him, but why?’ she thought to herself again, she really nee-ds to get out here, far away from this blood su-cking demon
She pretended as if she didn’t heard anything as she opened the bathroom door and c@m£ out
“Are you done?” Josh asked
“Yes I have to go now” Steph said with an uneasiness which didn’t go unnoticed from Josh, he approached her and asked
“Are you okay?”
” Ye…yeah, am…am actually fine, I have to go now” Steph replied and gave Josh a pe-ck on the cheeks and hurried off immediately
Josh immediately picked up his phone and dialed a number
“Hello Louis”
“Hello boss”
“Follow Steph’s car and know where she is going, if you find anything suspicious with her movement bring her to the warehouse…I think she heard something she shouldn’t hear”
“Okay boss copied” Louis replied and hanged up the phone immediately
“Hmmm Steph you actually stepped into the Lions den, well the last person that overhead this never survived it…you actually overstepped your boundary baby” Josh said with serious face, as he picked a cigarette from the table and lit it up, he too a long draw and re-leased the smoke in the hair

Steph was driving with a pounding heart, well she noticed a black car trailing after her, taking her every step, taking every corner she took
That’s when it dawned on her that the wolf had took notice of her.
The worst is that the street was so dark, she speed up in which the car following her also speed up throu-gh, she tooked a lonely road, the car following her also took the same road
She immediately halted as she parked her car along the road, she c@m£ out of it and ran inside a bush, well is better to run inside the bush than driving, because if she continues driving she would involve in a ghastly accident in which she doesn’t want , the car also parked at the back of her own as the person alighted immediately from the car running after her
Steph ran throu-gh the bush, breathing heavily, thank goodness she wore a jean black trou-ser and a T-shi-t
She saw a big tree in which she hid herself behind it holding her breath waiting for her pusher to pas-s, she held her heart as she let out a silent prayer
“Oh Lord plea-se save me from this person, help me to escape this terrifying night of my life, I promised that after this I will give in myself to the police for the mistake I made three months ago, I pray thee oh Lord, plea-se save me” she prayed silently as she once again held her breath because the footsteps of her pusher is been more louder to her hearing
