Antonio rush in immediately Serah called him that Selena is not home yet
“Good evening ma’am”Antonio greeted but Serah is lost crying
“My daughter,please find my daughter”Serah cried
“I dropped her here my self and I’ve been calling her number immediately I got home”Antonio explained
“She’s not picking her phone”Sebastian said walking in
“Call Roseline,what if she’s with Rose”Antonio said
“Oh right”Sebastian nodded and pick his phone to call Rose when an unknown caller called Antonio
đź“žAm I speaking to Ms. Selena’s boyfriend?” A male voice asked after he had picked the call.
“Yes please”Antonio replied in a rush
“Oh… I’m sorry to inform you that your girlfriend is currently in our hospital. A good Samaritan found her at a abandoned apartment and she’s in a critical condition right now”
“Where the fĂ»ck is your hospital?!!!” Antonio yelled, veins popping on his neck.

Antonio rushed like a mad man into the hospital, going straight to the receptionist. Sebastian and Serah were right behind him.
“How can I help you please?” The receptionist asked with a smile.
“Selena Benjamin,she was rushed here 30 minutes ago”Antonio answered immediately his eyes were already red, showing his pains which he didn’t bother to hide
“Ward 203”the receptionist answered

Antonio flung the door open violently and entered in a rush. There, he met the love of his life, sleeping peacefully. There was Oxygen on her nose but the continual beeping of the machine made him relaxed a bit.
“Mi Vida” his tears fell. This time, a happy and sad one. But, his happiness was larger than his sadness. She is alive! His woman is alive!
“Selena!!” That was Serah’s scream. She left Sebastian and rushed to the bed, getting a hold of Selena’s warm hand.
“Lena…” She whispered, sniffing gently,her daughter is the most strongest lady she’ll ever see
Selena will always smile no matter the situation she’s in,but now, she was on a sick bed, struggling to stay alive. Serah shook her head and broke down into tears.
“I’m sorry daughter,I couldn’t protect you from the evil people,please wake up baby I still need you to gist and act like a mother to me and your brother , please don’t leave me” she cried. Sebastian walked to her and held her shoulders, rubbing it soothingly.
But it was as though she was speaking to a wall, because Selena slept there, not moving a finger.
“Selena!!!” Serah broke down into uncontrollable tears. Sebastian immediately raised her up, covering her face with his chest.
“It’s okay mom Stop crying she’ll be fine” he whispered, trying to calm her sad soul down.
After a while, Antonio sat down beside the bed, staring at Selena’s face silently. Sebastian was sitting on a chair by the wall, with Serah’s head on his chest. The whole place was an embodiment of silence.
“She’ll be fine, right?” Serah’s soft voice rang over the room. Sebastian smiled before kissing her hair.
“Yes, she will. Lena is a strong girl, this is nothing compared to her strength. I believe she would overcome this” Sebastian said.
Hearing that, Serah smiled but it was cut short when a nurse entered the room. She was the one who directed them to Selena’s ward.
“I’m sorry for the disturbance but I need to check up on her,” she said. Antonio understood and got to his feet, giving her space to attend to Selena.
“It’s nothing serious, right? She didn’t lose her memory and anything, right?”Antonio asked slowly, preparing himself for the worst. Even if anything happens to her, he’d never leave her
As long as she’s alive for him, it’s okay.
“She’s fine” the nurse chuckled and then continued.
“She sprained her ankle as a result of the hard fall, but she’ll be fine after some days. She lost a lot of blood but hopefully, the Doctor took care of it” she explained.
“Thank Goodness,”Antonio breathed out. He suddenly felt something warm around his hand and he looked down for confirmation. His woman was awake and she was staring at him!
“Mi Vida,,” he mumbled shockingly. He could tell she let out a smile before her eyes narrowed a bit.
“Oh great, she’s awake” the nurse immediately disconnected the oxygen from Selena’s nose. Selena let out a breath and smiled faintly.
Serah got to her feet and rushed to the bed. Sighting that she was awake, she smiled out tears.
“Don’t cry,” Selena whispered.
“I’d advise you not to stress yourself. You’re just recovering and you should not try to sit up, it might be dangerous,” she advised. After a few more words, she left the ward.
Antonio sat on the bed and covered her hand with his. For the first time that day, he smiled genuinely.
“I was scared,” he whispered. Selena only smiled. She was too weak to utter a word.
“You should let her be like the nurse advised, you can exchange words with her later,”Sebastian joined them. He looked at Selena and smiled in appreciation.
“I thought I lost you,” his voice was soft and filled with so many emotions. He caressed her hand before placing a light kiss on it.
“Thank you for not leaving me, Amor de mi vida{Love of my life}” he whispered. Selena raised her other hand and touched his cheek, releasing a smile afterwards.
“I love you,” Antonio barely heard her as her voice was so low. He smiled out tears and quickly placed a kiss on her forehead, smiling widely.
“I love you, Baby. I love you so much, I love you” he chants, placing his head on her chest lightly. Valeria smiled before caressing his hair as gently as she could.
“I’ll call Rose”Sebastian smiled and walk out

“Husby”Rose cried immediately she entered the room
Selena smiled lightly raising her head up
“I’m sorry I couldn’t come last night cause it’s late”Rose said sitting on the bed
“It’s okay you’re here now”Selena smiled
“Who could do this to you when your birthday is near”Rose exclaimed loudly
“Hilda…Sh…she pushed me”Selena said
“Hilda”Antonio exclaimed standing up
“Who’s Hilda”Rose asked
“She’s a bitch and I’ll let her regret touching my baby”Antonio answered but Selena shook her head
“I want to be fine before you take any step”She said and Rose glance at Antonio

Hilda looked around the house before walking to a corner. She raised her phone and swiped the green icon, receiving the call that came up on her phone.
“Did she die?” She asked slowly.
“Sure ma’am.,no normal person will survive the that” a man’s voice came up at the other end of the call
“Make sure she dies, I won’t hesitate paying more” Hilda said.
“Yes, ma’am” the call ended and Hilda smiled wickedly
“Hilda killed someone?”Kylah’s eyes widened and she quickly turned around to find Hilda staring at her, her eyes widened
“Sh!t!!”
