Kim Ji Pov: (Kind):
I gave myself one final broody stare in front of the mirror before leaving the room with my bag.
As soon as I stepped out the door, the first unfortunate face I saw was my brother – step brother, actually.
“Hello sis” he sm-irked and t©uçhed my cheek.
“How was your night, huh? I must admit it,you always look good in your school uniform”.
“Thanks” i muttered and tried walking away, but he held me back.
“You couldn’t even greet me. Have you forgotten I’m older than you?” He asked, holding me r0ûghly by the wrist.
“plea-se, Mal-chin, I don’t want any trouble” I replied tiredly.
“Oh, really? And do I look like a trouble ma-king machine to you?” He asked rudely and I just stared at the floor.
“Anyway, you’re lucky I’m in my good mood today” he added and left me, walking down the stairs.

I took in a de-ep breath and followed him behind and we both bur-sted out in the sitting room where dad and step-mom were alre-ady having breakfast.
Mal-chin pe-cked his mum on the cheek before taking a seat beside her.
“Good morning, mum.
“Good morning, dad” I greeted both of them.
“Good morning, pretty. How was your night?” My step mom asked warmly.
I know she was just trying to be nice because dad was around. Else, she treats me like a slave.

“It was fine, thanks” I mumbled with my gaze on the floor.
“Are you set for the excursion?” Dad asked and I nodded.
“Where is it holding again?”
“Jeonju city” I replied and tucked my short hair behind my ear.
“Alright. Um…by the way, the cook told me you were the one who prepared the stew. It’s delicious” he said and my eyes beam.
Wow! That was the first time in a long time dad was actually complimenting me about something.

“Thanks” I smiled.
Well, that’s one thing you should know about me; I have a great pas-sion for cooking.
“Um…I’ll be on my way now” I said as I adjusted my bag on my arm.
“Why? Won’t you be joining us for breakfast?” Step mom asked with a smile.
Hm.
“Um…I’ll just find something to eat later. We’re supposed to meet in school by 8 before proceeding to the excursion and I’m running late alre-ady” I replied, looking at my wrist watch.

“Okay, then. Take care. Have a safe trip” she smiled.
Wow! How do people manage to be so good at pretending?
I just smiled at her.
“Bye, Kim” dad replied and I finally left the house, prepared for the excursion to Jeonju city.

Kim nana’s Pov: (Crazy)
I sat on my bicycle, whistling as I drove along the street, headed home.
Hm. The weather is so sweet today.
As I rode on my new bicycle, the sweet air kept b!owing my long hair crazily and I loved it that way.
“Hey! Get off the road, you blind dwarf!” I yelled to a man who was backing and standing in my way and he turned and moved away in shock.

“Who did you just call a dwarf?” He asked after me and I showed my ton-gue to him and continued ri-ding.
Then, I saw two women in front of me who were chatting noisily and I purposely pas-sed between them to split them up.
“Kim! What is wrong with you?” One of them asked in fear after thinking I was going to knock her down.
“You’re too lousy. Shut up” I turned and told them and continued ri-ding.
“This kid has no respect” a woman who had seen the whole thing said when I got to where she was.

“Well, do you have some for sale?” I asked and drove pas-s her.
I continued whistling and finally, I arrived home and parked my beautiful bicycle by the door.
Hope I didn’t take too long?
I opened the door into the sitting room and a burnt smell welcomed me immediately.
Hm. What’s that smell? It smells like roasted chicken.
Oh my God! Its the beans!!!

Aigo! Aigo! It seems i overstayed.
I took to my heels and ran to the kitchen immediately, turning off the g@s.
Oh, heavens! Why did it have to burn? Couldn’t it wait a little longer?
I opened the pot but started coughing and quic-kly closed it Back.
What do I do now?
Just then, the door opened in the sitting room and I knew mother was back.

Great! I’m finally dead.
“Kim!” She called and I ran to her immediately.
“Mother!” I called and embr@ced her and she was a little surprised.
“What’s that smell?” She asked, crumpling her face.
“Uh…what did you get from the market, mother?” I asked immediately as I collected the bags she was holding and kept them on the table

“By the way, Kim; we nee-d to talk” she told me and I rolled my eyes.
I alre-ady had a hint on what she wanted to say.
“Why haven’t you been going to school for some days now?” She asked with her right hand on her w@!st.
“I told you, mother. I’ve been waking up with strange head aches these days” I replied.
“Seriously? Strange head aches for five days???”
“Fine! I’ll tell you the truth. I was suspended” I pouted myl-ips and she scoffed.

“Are you…Are you kidding me? What the hell, Kim? You were suspended two weeks ago, and you’ve been suspended again??” She snapped.
“It wasn’t my fault. Simply because I beat up the principal’s son, they…”
“What??” She cut in.
“You beat up the principal’s son??”
“Yes, mother. He was…staring rudely at me. Simply because he’s father’s the principal, he feels he owns the school as well. I nee-ded to put him in his place”. I defended.

“Kim nana! For Christ sake! How could you beat up a boy?? Haven’t I warned you enough?
“How long were you suspended?”,
“It’ll be over by monday” I replied with a frown.

She huffed and placed her hand on her forehead.
“Okay. And Mrs Chin-su told me you stole her apples…”

“I didn’t steal it, mother. I just took it on credit” I replied and bit my nails
“Really? Well, Boon-Hua’s mum st©pped me on the way and also told me you had a fight with her son. What the hell happened?”, she asked.

“Point of correction, mother. I didn’t fight with him; I actually beat him up” I corrected her and she scoffed.
“Kim! I’ve been talking to you about this. Do you really want your name to be known in the entire Jeonju city?? If you continue this way, it’ll be difficult to find a responsible man that will come for you.”
“Hell! And whoever said I nee-ded a man mother? Of course, I don’t. They can all go to hell. I’m not re-ady for all those funny wife commitments.”
She looked at me and shook her head and I smiled.

“I wonder where this girl comes from” she muttered to herself.
“I’ll just drop this in my room, mother” I told her as I carried the bag I had returned with to my room.
My mother and I…we’re not that rich, but we’re happy. At least, there’s never a day that goes by with us starving.

She loves me and I love her sooo much and that’s the most important thing.
And our snug little house is just okay with me.

I got into my tiny room and my eyes beam at the sight on the table.
Ahhh
I rushed to it immediately, picking up the picture.
Thank goodness mother hadn’t entered my room to see it.

I stared at it before I’d put it away.
It was an old picture I had found in mother’s belongings. She was young and pretty then and was sitting beside a young handsome man and guess what? They were with three identical babies.
Yes.
I tried asking mum about it and she casually said the babies were not hers and they were dead.
It was confusing tho, but she wouldn’t explain any further and when I had tried persisting, she flared up and almost beat me up. So, since then, I just kept the picture to myself and never questioned her again.
But I wonder…who were the three babies in the picture? And are they really dead like mum claimed?
And who’s also the man in the picture with her? She wouldn’t say. She looked so happy in the picture.

I don’t know why I just have a cranky feeling about it. Could mum be hiding something?
I cli-cked my ton-gue and put the picture away before leaving the room. I nee-ded to buy some wax some colors. Well, if there’s anything I love doing, its drawing.
I got to the sitting room and couldn’t find mum.
Oh my God!! She’s in the kitchen!!

Ahhh
I’m dead.
“Uh…m…mother, I’ll be right back. I nee-d to get something” I stuttered.
“Kim nana!!!” She yelled my name and I had to close my ears.
“Did you burn the food again?”
“Y…Yes” I replied, alre-ady waking to the door.

“Aigo! What do you expect me to eat?” She grouse.
“It’s not that bad, mother. It smells like roasted chicken after all” I replied as I got outside and took my bicycle, taking off immediately.

Episode 2
Kim Ji (Kind):
The car pu-ll-ed over in front of the large school building and I stepped out immediately with my bag.
My grade mates could be seen at the facade of the building, probably waiting for the school bus to arrive.
I moved my hair backwards before proceeding to join them. I hope I get to find Gyeong.

Approaching them, the she-devils showed up – Soo-Min and Mishil.
I seriously don’t know why these ladies derive plea-sure in bullying me.
“Hello pumpkin” Mishil called with a fatuous smile.
“Hi” I said perfunctorily and tried walking away.

Soo-min was holding a cu-p of jui-ce and she let it fall on the floor purposefully, ma-king it spill on my feet.
Geez
“Oops. Sorry” they giggled and walked away.
“Kim!” Someone called from behind and I turned to see it was Gyeong.
Hah! Thank goodness.
“Hey” I called with a frail smile.

She was actually my best friend and the only friend I had in school.
“Don’t tell me those bit-ches were bullying you again?” She asked as she c@m£ close to me and I shrugged.
“Come on,Kim; when will you learn to fight back? You can’t allow them continue bullying you this way, you know?” She asked and I looked down at the floor.

Well, I don’t. I just hate anything trouble.
“Anyway, how was your night?” She went ahead to ask.
“Same as always. When will the bus arrive? I actually thought I was late” I said.

“Oh! There was just a little delay. But the bus will be here soon.
“You know, I’m so glad we’ll be going to Jeonju! I really can’t wait. Remember I told you I had a friend there, right? A new friend I made when I had gone for vacation last summer” she said dreamily.
“Huh? But that’s a long time alre-ady, Gyeong. How do you plan on finding him?”

“Well, I still remember the place where I had seen him. It was close to an Art sto-re – I remember vividly. Mr Young-soo art sto-re.”
“But its just a day trip and there…”
Yeah, I know. We’ll leave first thing tomorrow morning before the school thinks of returning. We’ll be fast even before anyone realizes we’re gone.” She win-ked at me.
“Huh? What do you mean *we?* I’m not going with you” I said pla-yfully.

“Come on, Kim; I know you’ll definitely come with me. Don’t worry”.
I laughed and just then, the school bus arrived.
“Hah! At last!” Gyeong exclaimed.
“Come on, Kim. Let’s hurry up and get comfortable seat’ she took my hand and started running towards the bus as the rest of the students moved towards it as well.

Kim nana (Crazy):
I rode my bicycle to the Art sto-re and smiled as I got closer to it.
Geez! I almost hit someone – a fat man who was standing in the way, re-ading a book in his hand .
“Hey! Are you deaf in the eyes? Get out of the way!” I yelled at him and he moved away immediately.
“Kim!! What the hell is…”
“Don’t mention my name with that mouth you haven’t brushed for 3 days” I snorted and packed my bicycle in front of the art sto-re.
Hmm. Just looking at the name gives me so much joy – Mr Young-soo art sto-re.
I love everything about art – the sto-re, the environment, the owner! Everything!

I got into the pretty sto-re and met the grumpy lady at the reception.
She sh0t me an angry stare as I walked in and I showed my ton-gue to her.
Hmph. She’s still angry because I told her her face scares customers away. Whatever.

I looked around and saw the sto-re owner – Mr Young-soo – working on a drawing.
I like him because he’s a great artist. He’s actually a married man with two kids.
“Hey!” I beamed and jumped to him in surprise.
He turned in shock, a little startled.

“Kim!” He exclaimed and I laughed.
“You startled me”.
“Yeah, I know. I’m sorry. Um…what’re you painting this time around?” I asked, staring keenly at the drawing board
“Oh! New orders! I don’t even know how to handle them all, Kim! They’re so many. And the deadline is just around the corner” he complained.

“Oh! What is it all about?” I asked
“They’re emotive and perspective drawings”. He replied
“Oh!” I placed my hand on my chin.
“I can come over to help you tomorrow, then. Tomorrow morning” .
“Oh my! Are you serious, Kim?” He beamed.

“Yeah, I mean, since I’m on suspension…” I paused and bit myl-ips, realizing I shouldn’t have said it.
He flin-ched and looked at me.
“Goodness, Kim! Don’t tell me you were suspended from school again?”
I bit my nails and wore a pitiful look like a child who was being scolded.

“What did you do this time around?”
“I didn’t do anything, Young-soo! The truth is, I’m a peaceful girl who loves minding her business. They’re always the ones coming for my trouble” I replied with a frown and he scoffed.

“The day you’ll become a peaceful girl, the sun will turn to blue” he said and I g@sped at first, then rolled my eyes.
Whatever. I know I’m a good girl.
“Um…I nee-d some wax colors” I said as I walked over to one of the color shelf.
I took out the few colors I nee-ded and returned your him.

“How much will these be? I don’t want to talk to that ugly receptionist of yours” I asked him.
“Oh! Don’t worry, you can go with them. You don’t nee-d to pay” he replied and I g@sped.
“What?? Oh, my gee!” I exclaimed and hvgged him.
“Thank you, Young-soo. Don’t worry, I’ll come over first thing in the morning and I’ll make sure the entire drawing is completed!” I said ecstatically and he laughed.

“You’re welcome, Kim. Just stay out of trouble, okay?”
“Of course! I’ll be on my way now. Bye!” I waved happily at him and started towards the exit.
Awwn.
That’s the reason Mr Young-soo is one of my favorite. He’s among the few people that’s safe from my trouble.

I got to the reception and rolled my eyes at the grumpy lady.
“Won’t you be paying for those?” She asked when I was about walking out and I st©pped and scoffed.
“No. My money is too precious to be t©uçhed by those hands of yours” I tea-sed and she fumed.

“Hannah!” Young-soo called and signaled her to let me go.
I sm-irked and was about walking away when I paused and looked back at her.
“You know, I think you nee-d to buy some new ear rings. You’ve been using those things on your ears for almost a year now” I jibe-d at her and finally left.

Hm.
I know I’m a good girl, anyway.
I got outside to where my bicycle was parked and was about climbing on it when a young boy ran upto me, holding a little flower.
I know I should be older than him. Although, I’m just nineteen, but he looks younger.

“Hi Kim” he greeted, looking nervous.
I placed my hand on my w@!st and watched him in scrutiny.
“Um…Tae asked me to give this flower to you” he said as he proffered the flower out to me.
I chuckled and shook my head.

This boy never seize to amaze me. How many times will I warn him to stay away from me?
I collected the flower harshly from the boy.
Go back and tell Tae I can never d@t£ someone like him. Because if we d@t£, I might end up k!ss!nghis big nose while trying to k!sshisl-ips. Just tell him to go for a nose surgery” I rasped and hit him with the flower on the head.

He t©uçhed his head in shock.
Serves him right for being a mess£nger of foolishness.
I set my bicycle and climbe-d on it and without hesitation, started ri-ding blissfully.
I wonder why some boys are so dumb. They know they’re ugly, yet they go after beautiful ladies.

Hm. Well, I know my mum must’ve gone throu-gh a lot of stress in giving birth to me, so I won’t let her efforts go to waste.
Before any guy can approach me, he must be really handsome. And when I say really handsome, I mean, really handsome.
He must have pretty blue eyes, perfect pointed nose, pinkl-ips, sweet ascent, nice walking steps – I mean, he must be perfect.
And so far, I haven’t seen such guy.

Anyway, that’s the least of my problem right now.
But, as for the rest of the guys, they better stay away from me as long as they’re ugly, else I might end up beating every one of them.
