~MORGAN’S HOUSE~
Clark sighs for the umpteen time before entering his mother’s study.
“Mother…?”
He got no response as he stood there in silence clenching and unclenching his fists.
Suddenly his mother threw the glas-sof wine she was drinking at him.
Luckily he only got a cut on his handsome face as the glas-sclashes on the wall.
This doesn’t surprise Clark.
He expected it.
“You’re at the club!!”
“You’re busy!! What!!”
“Mother I…?” He kept his gaze down as he was loss of words to say.
No excuse to make…and he knows making excuses will only make her get angrier.
Mrs Morgan stood up and moves closer to him.
She stare at him for a while before giving him a resounding slap.
Blood tickled down the cut area.
This pain was nothing to him.
“Do you know the consequences of what you did?! Do you know what I had to lose because of your foolish and childish thinking?! Tell me…is this how you fu-cking repay me uh?!”
“I have no excuse” he finally said and she sighs.
“Get lost…?”
“I’ll do anyth_”
“OUT!!” She growled and Clark leaves reluctantly.
Anger clashes over him as he reached his room scattering and smashing everything he lays his hands on.
“Argh!!!”
“Wait till I get you….planet girl..?” He seethe in anger.

“Carly! Carly!! Carl!” Mercury grab hold of Carly’s hand but she just whipped it away.
“Did I do something wrong Carl?” Mercury asked but Carly only leaves ignoring her and her question.
Ever since the previous day Carly has been avoiding her and she doesn’t seems to know why.
She tries to talk to her but she won’t even let her.
Something is definitely wrong she thought.
But what could it be?
“What’s wrong?” Leo asked Mercury who seems lost in thought and has been picking on her food.
“Uh….the food is good Leo” she forced a smile.
“You’re not okay Ura…care to tell me what the probs is?” He asked and Mercury sighs dropping the spoon.
“It’s Carly?”
“Your friend?”
“Uh? She has been acting strange since yesterday….she kept ignoring me and even avoids me”
“She sent you to Coventry?”
“Yeah…I mean I don’t even know what I did and she won’t tell me. We were okay but she just suddenly….it’s strange and annoying…I seriously don’t like it when she’s being like this”
“Ura…there’s something you need to know”
“What?”
“Let me ask this first…is there something between you and Clark…are you guys….dating now?”
“Leo!!”
“Just asking okay” he shrugged.
“What makes you think that?” She frowns.
“Well we all saw you both yesterday….you seems quite close”
“So you made your a-ssumption based on that…I can’t believe this” she stood up angrily and made to leave but Leo stopped her.
“It’s fine if you’re not together but the guys and I were not the only one who saw you two yesterday…Carly did too”
“What”
“I think she misunderstood that…you know what I think she likes Clark I’ve been observing that for a while now….she ran out crying yesterday”
“Are you sure if this Leo…?”
“It’s up to you to believe…?”..
” come to think of it she said she was coming yesterday but I never saw her…oh God Mercury…what have you done?” She slapped her forehead.
“So what are you gonna do now?”
“I’ve to make things right of course…see you later Leo…thanks for telling me this” she said in a rush before running out of the restaurant.
“We finally managed to eat together but now this…?” Leo sighs.
Carly kept moving her body vigorously to the rhythms of the music.
Her mind wasn’t in the dance…her mind was om something else.
Her mind was on Clark
Her mind was on Mercury
Her mind was on the scene she witnessed the other day.
She is angry.
She is furious.
She feels betrayed.
She’s sad.
She dance whenever she has something on her mind.
She dance whenever she’s angry.
She dances whenever she’s sad
She dances whenever she’s happy.
Covered in sweat, She kept dancing till she fell.
But that isn’t gonna stop her….she stood up again and continues dancing strenuously to the music.
Mercury has looked for her everywhere but couldn’t find her until someone told her she’s in the dance practice room.
Standing at the corridor, she watched her love her body forcefully to the rhythms of the music.
She’s not in her right senses she thought.
Then she fell.
“Carly!!” She ran to her helping her up.
“Don’t touch me” she removed her hand from hers.
“You misunderstood Carl? Yesterday….you misunderstood us…I promise you” she said while Carly scoffs.
“You two were hugging Mec” she said in a calm voice.
“Carl it wasn’t really like that…the situation was just….complicated”
“Complicated…you say?” She faced her.
“You can be honest with me Mec…do you like Clark?”
“What if I say I don’t…will you believe me?”
“You’re making me believe otherwise”
“I promise you Carl…trust me”
I’m sorry Mec…I was being childish”
“I don’t want us to continue fighting because of him Carl…if you really like him that much…then I’ll help you get him”
“How?”
“Just wait and see” she smiles.
“Thank you V” she hugs her.
“Now you’re back…you stopped calling me that do you realize that?”
“V…do you wanna come to my house this weekend?…let’s hang out together”
“I would love to Carl” she grins.
“You’re staying over”
“Sure…but are okay…it seems you hurt your leg earlier?”
“Oh…I’m fine…?” She bend down to look at her legs.
This action made her top to lift up and Mercury’s eyes caught something like a bruise at her back.
“Carl..that_” she made to touch it but Carl slapped her hand away.
“I’m…okay…let’s go…?”
~THE NEXT DAY~
“Sorry for leaving you behind yesterday Leo ”
“It’s alright…so did you sort it out?”
“Yeah…thanks to you”
“So, you own me another lunch date”
“Sure…let’s set it for_” she stopped when she saw Clark coming.
“Oh shit!”
“What Is it?”
“Leo…leo I..I have to leave…later” she said running away from Clark who started chasing her also.
But seems luck wasn’t on her side as the MKL BEAUTIES decided to block her way.
“Where are you running to dolt?” Mia asked twisting her hair.
“Gosh he’s catching up…get out of my way?” She pushed her away.
“Don’t let her leave!” Clark shouted running towards them and Mia dragged her back by her hair.
“Let go of me!”
“Do you think you can run away?” Clark asked asked pa-nting.
“It’s Clark!”
“Oh my…is he here to see me?”
“He’s charming…?”
“What happened to his face?”
“What do you want?” Mercury asked and Clark scoffs
“What do I want? Seriously…?”
“See…I don’t usually do this but I’m sorry for the other day…the…text message…I know you must have gotten in trouble with your mother..”
“You do know well”
“Okayyyy…?” Leaving
“Where are you going?” He held her back
“I apologized, didn’t I?”
“I never said it has been accepted…you don’t actually think that will cut it”
“That’s none of my business”
“Really…?” He asked and she sighs…if not for the little cut he has on his face she would have gotten out of there but she’s just holding it in cause she knows her mother must have done something to him.
It’s her fault anyway.
“So, what do you want me to do?”
“Kneel” he said simply.
“Kneel?”
“You heard me…kneel”
“I’m outta here…to hell with you” she made to leave but he stopped her.
“What exactly is your problem uh? Nobody has ever dared to be rude to me in this school. Who do you think you are?”
“I? I’m Mercury J and I don’t give a shit about you or your fu-cking whatever…who do you think you’re to order me around?”
“I’m Clark Morgan, the heir to Morgan’s Automobile…and the god of this school. I have the power to boss you around as I want and you’re nothing but a pipsqueak who should be bowing at my feet”
“fu-ck you Clark!”
“You should be looking for my favor young lady…don’t forget I’m the richest, hottest and mist handsome in this school”
“And don’t remind me you’re the rudest, most selfish, arrogant, and devilish guy gosh I hate you!” She lashed out and Clark smirks.
“You hate me?…not the opposite?”
“What?”
“Come on practically all the girls in this school go loco over me…how can you be any different…or is this your way of expressing your feelings?”
“I despise you!”
“Really…?”
“Yeah…?”
“Are you sure about that?” He asked moving closer to her as she moves back.
“100% sure”
“You’re not gonna regret that?”

“Because if that’s true…then I’ve to do something…I can’t stand you hating me among over thousands girls in this school”
“What are you gonna do?” She asked and he pulls her closer to him holding her waist.
“I’m gonna make you fall for me”
“What…?”
“I’ll sedu-ce you…you only have three seconds”

“You’re crazy!”
“2…?”
“I swear if you don’t let go I’m gonna _”
“3.” He said taking her li-ps in his as he didn’t let her finish her statement.
“Oh my goodness!”
“Am I seeing right?”
“Somebody please hold me”
“No…this can’t be happening…?”
“Are they dating?”
Mercury finally unlocked from the kis-s throwing her fast at him which Clark Dodge.
She threw another one and Clark dodge it again capturing her two hands in his.
“Let me go” she gritted.
“Are you angry uh? You really need to stop acting touch now”..
Mercury step on his toes and he winced releasing her immediately and she didn’t hesitate to give him a punch on the face.
“Screw you Clark!” She ran outta there.
“Are you okay?” Mia asked holding him.
“Why did you do that?” Leo asked with a pained expression.
“Why do you think I did it uh?”
“You’re taking this too far Clark”
“Screw you…?” He leaves leaving Leo who was burning in anger.
Carly realize the students murmuring among themselves and wonder what could be happening.
“Hey kings…xup?”
“Oh Hey kings…?”
“What’s happening?”
“Ohhh….that…what…i don’t…?” Kings is reluctant to tell Carly as Mercury once mentioned to him that she likes Clark.
“Kings!”
“Uh?”
“Tell me…?”
“Carl…later I feel pressed…?” He made to go but she dragged him back.
“Do you think if you don’t tell me u won’t fund out?” She asked and Kings signs.
“Well whatever…you asked for it….well earlier Clark and Mercury were bickering then suddenly Clark grabbed her and smash his li-ps on hers and Mercury punched him ha-rd on the nose that’s what got the students talking”
“What…they kis-sed?”..
” Not like..they….apparently..clark did it suddenly..mercury was caught off guard…believe me” he said but she only smiles.
Seriously…she smiles.
“It’s okay…you made it seems like a big deal..see you later” she pats his shoulder and leaves leaving Kings dumbstruck.
“How can she smile? I thought she likes Clark…is she really okay with it… I have to tell Mercury I told her…this is crazy?” He shakes his head and left.
