“I’m not your fiancee Clark?” She whispers slowly.
“You don’t have to deny it…I know you only do those thin_”..
” I’m….really not your fiancee? You’ve…mistaken” she cuts him off and Clark let her go slowly.
“Then who is it?”
“That’s left for you to find out” she replied and face Kings.
“Let’s go K? Carly?”
“Uh?..ohhh…okay…?” Carly reluctantly followed them leaving Clark dumbstruck.
~THE COLD’S SPECIAL CLa-ssROOM~
“This is all because of you guys…I shouldn’t have listened to you”
“Call down bro…?”
“Calm down? How can I calm down when I just made a fool out of myself in front of everyone there uh?
“what’s important now is to find the girl….your fiancee?” Olive said.
“fu-ck it…I’m not gonna listen to you anymore…?” He took his jacket and head out.
“Who the fu-ck is the girl?” Danny asked no one in particular.
Mia and friends double crossed Mercury on her way to the toilet.
“Hey twit” Mia called.
“Hi ugly beauty” Mercury replied.
“Did you just called me an ugly beauty?”
“Oh my…did my mouth just said that?…don’t mind it…it was just tryna be honest” she chuckles.
“What? You’re really pa-ssing your boundary you know?!”
“Yeah…old story…any gist?”
“And why will I gist with you?”
“Then excuse me…I have some business to do” about to enter the toilet.
“So you aren’t Clark’s fiancee?” Mia folds her hands and Mercury turns back.
“Why? Are you disappointed I’m not? Too bad right?”
“Disappointed my foot? You have no chance to begin with…a raga muffin like you can never be with Clark hmph!”
“Really…okay?”
“Okay? Just okay?”
“It seems you want me to say something and I will….do you know? Double eye lids, fake pointed nose, burned cheeks…plump li-ps…and cat eyes…ahn you literally reconstruct your face..guess what neither of the COLD’S will want a dummy doll like you…you look like Jezebel with all those paintings on your face geez! Wanna hear a secret? She…is prettier than you” Mercury said pointing at Lia who was standing behind her.
“At least…half of her face is natural unlike you who recreated yourself…so pathetic” she shakes her head and head inside the toilet.
Mia was so embarra-ssed that she doesn’t know what to do.
She turned back and met Lia smiling.
Anger crashes over her and she lands her a hot slap.
“You must be happy uh? Why don’t you go be her friend then….fool!” She marched outta there angrily with kia while Lia runs after her.
AT THE PARK
Carly stood at the river side waiting for Clark as usual.
Ever since she met him there that day, she has been coming there everyday in hope she’ll meet him again.
But he isn’t coming.
“Is he not coming today either?” She sighs.
“Why are you here?” She heard raising up her head immediately.
“Clark?!” She grinned holding her hand.
“Finally you came”
“Did we had an appointment to meet here?” He frowns.
“No but…but I’ve been waiting for you…everyday…?” She said shyly.
Clark looks at her for a while before taking his sit.l, took some pebbles and start throwing it in the river as usual.
“Are you gonna keep standing all day?” He asked and Carly took her sit immediately the smile nit leaving her li-ps.
“Do you live around here?” He asked not looking at her.
“Yeah…my house isn’t far from here…?”
“Do you have anything to say to me?”
“Uh? Ummm….Clark…are you having a ha-rd time?” She asked and Clark stops to look at her.
He frowns for a bit but later relax his face.
“I can’t even have a time of my own to think anymore…?” He mutters but Carly heard.
“Clark…I’m happy I got to see you today…?” She smiles standing up.
“You’re leaving?”
“See you at school…don’t think too much…?” She offers him that sweet smile again before disappearing into thin air.
Clark sighs…his mother has really been on his neck asking him if he found out who the girl is.
He had to leave the house so he can at least breathe.
He hasn’t met this fiancee of his…but he hates her already for making him go throu-ghhell.
“Just wait till I find you…?” He threw the last pebbles in the river then his eyes caught a small package beside him.
“For Clark” was written on it.
He opens it and it turns out to be chocolate cookies.
She must have left it for him.
He took one and ate it.
“Not bad” he continues eating.
AT A RESTAURANT
“Are you really not his fiancee?” Leo asked what has been in his mind ever since they met up.
“Seriously…?” Mercury dropped her forks.
“Do you all want me to be? Why do you all asking me that? It started to get annoying you know….wait did you call me out on this peaceful weekend just to ask that?”
“Ura…Ura calm down…I’m sorry okay? I just wanted to be sure…I didn’t mean to piss you off”
“Whatever….but are you disappointed I am not his fiancee?”
“I’m kinda relive you’re not…I kinda like you you know” he replied and Mercury clears her throat.
“Okayyyy…?”
“Do you like me Mercury?”
“Oh! First time you’ll call me by my real name” she grins.
“Mercury…?”
“It sounds sweet from you…you know this is kinda tasty…let’s finish up I’ve another place to take you to” she said rushing her food.
“Easy there…?” Leo looks at her and she nodded.
“It’s tasty…?”
AT AN ARCADE
“Yay! Move move move Leo!….come guys shake your body..hoo!” Mercury shouted shaking her body.
“Ura…I’m tired…just a little more…come on…?”
“Yay! I won I won see that! See that Leo…look at the score!”
“Yeah you won…let’s stop now”
“Seriously…you’re too weak for a guy…buy me an ice cream”
“Aren’t you tired?”
“I’m energetic! Unlike someone…?” She winked leaving then her eyes caught something.
“Leo….?”
“I’m about to go get it now”
“Forget that!…let’s take some pics” she said linking hands with him.
“Let’s go….come on…go.go…go….?” She pushed him to the photo booth where they took a lot of pictures.
“I like this better…?” She giggles.
“Here…take thess…? I will take these”
“We took this many…?”
“Huh?…you look funny here…I’m gonna keep it..?”
“Sure…?”
Mercury’s phone beeps and she checked it.
“Oh…I’ve to get going Leo…my parents will be home soon” she said keeping the pictures in her bag.
“I don’t wanna let you go” Leo pouted and Mercury chuckles.
“Awww…how cute of you” she tweaked his nose while Leo pulls her to himself surprising Mercury herself.”
“I had fun today”
Mercury wrapped her hands around him.
“Me too….now don’t miss me too much..I’m gonna see you in school on Monday” she smiles still hugging him.
Leo disengage from the hug and Mercury offers him a smile.
“Bye Leo…?” She said and Leo leans closer to her kis-sing her cheek.
“By Ura…?” He smiles.

Clark keeps looking at the picture that was sent to him by spy some hours ago.

Leo comes in humming a song to himself.
“Heyo guys” he greeted taking his sit.
“Are you going out with my errand girl?” He frowns.
“What! Going out?!” Danny exclaimed.
“You mean dating? Like they go on dates…kis-s..hugs…do all sort of things couples do?” Olive ask.
“Yeah….you mean like the one my parents did before they had me?” Danny chipped in.
“Will you two just shut up for fu-ck sake!” Clark glares.
“We’re just friends?” Leo replied.
“Friends?…you mean the kinds of friends who do this?” Clark pas-sthe phone to him and Danny and Olive rushed to his side to see it.
“This is…wow!”
“Does that mean Mercury dumped Clark?” Danny asked.
“Cute dummy were you dumped?” Olive asked too.
“Tell me…is something going on between you two?” Clark ask ignoring Danny and olive.
“Well…we’re not dating yet….I just like her?”
“Like her?”
“Yeah…you heard right?”
“She’s my errand girl?”..
” So?”
“You can’t date her”
“Why?”
“She…she is…planet girl”
“Just look for your fiancee and leave us alone” Leo said throwing his phone back at him.
“Does that mean she’s starting a rivalry between us?” Danny ask no one in particular.
Clark was about to talk but was interrupted by his phone beeping.
“What the fu-ck!” He faced his friends.
“Guys…?”
IN THE CLa-ssROOM
“THE CONCENTRATED SOLUTION H-, CU2 + 0H- AND CL- WAS ELECTROLIZED USING PLATINUM ELECTRODES THE ION THAT WILL BE…?”
The teacher rambles on not caring if the are listening or not.
It not surprising since that’s how it goes and no teacher dares complain about any students not paying attention unless the teacher has a death wish.
Mercury yawned for the umpteen time laying her head on the desk.
She was about closing her eyes when she heard a sudden noise.
“THE COLD’S ARE HERE!”
“why are they here suddenly…?”
“Oh my…?”
Students started arranging themselves as the COLD walks into the cla-ss.
“Mr teacher will you pause for a sec” Danny smiled.
Clark’s eyes roam around the clas-sand his eyes landed on Mercury who was already looking at him.
She frowns and Clark took his eyes away from her to somewhere else before smiling.
Mercury trace his eyes and saw him smiling at Carly.
Clark walked up to her, everybody’s eyes followed.
He knelt in front of her.
Everyone’s mouth dropped.
He took her hand and kis-s the back of her palm.
“I found you” he smiled.
Everyone gasp.
He took her hand and took her to stand in front of the clas-swith him.
“Listen everybody you must have heard about me having a fiancee but all of you here are yet to know who it is. I’m thrilled to tell you all that my fiancee is no one else but…Carly Jordan here…?”
“Oh my…what did I just hear?”
“She’s his fiancee?”
“Carly Jordan…?”
“This is unbelievable!”
“Why her”
“She’s so lucky…?”
“They look good together”
“She’s pretty”
“I envy her”
“So from now on the amount of respect given to me should be given to her also. I want you all to remember she’s the Queen of this school from now on. If you dare her…you’ll have to face me Regladless of who you are..or what position you may have…I won’t tolerate anyone messing with my woman…is that clear” he declares and everyone’s keep shut.
He faces Carly.
“I’ll see you later…” He hugs her looks at Mercury one more time before going out.
“You can resume now?” Danny said to the teacher before leaving.
The COLD’S left and the clas-scontinues like nothing happens.
Mia won’t stop glaring at Carly who keeps smiling.
Mercury just lay her head in the desk and close her eyes waiting for sleep to take over.
So Carly is Clark’s fiancee
