Drew couldn’t comprehend what’s happening but he did as she said, he hvgged her back warmly and she kept crying in his arms for so long.
He broke the hvg gently and ba-rely seeing her tears again is ma-king him wanna destroy whoever made her cry.
He wiped her tears slowly with a worried compas-sionate look on his face.
“Are you better now?” He asked and she just kept hiccu-ping.
He pu-ll-ed her into the car and told his driver where to go, he started driving Immediately.
BB stared out of the car throu-ghout the drive and when they got to their destination, the car c@m£ to an halt.
Drew held her out of the car. “Where are we going? ‘ she asked gently.
” Somewhere” he smiled and pu-ll-ed her along with him.
She kept following and they entered a building which looks like a tower .
He entered the elevator with her and they rode it to the t©p floor.
They c@m£ out at the rooft©p where the colourful streets can be viewed from, the stars looks closer from there and the air is different.
“I come here whenever I’m weary and tired of it all” he said, facing her.
“Is it capable of taking away my sorrows?” She asked.
” Just focus on the stars and let your eyes have a feast of the bright city, I promise you’ll be fine” he smiled handsomely and she did as he said
She held the rails and stared down the bright city, closing her eyes while trying to forget everything.
Drew stayed beside her, staring at her endlessly.
Her short hair got b!own by the gentle breeze and it scattered all-over her face, giving her the bad boy look….she’s cute…
She suddenly opened her eyes and looked up at the sky slowly.
“The stars” she said, smiling slightly.
“The most beautiful view on Earth, is here” he said, looking at the sky too.
She looked at him and sighed. ” I told you I hate you, why are you trying to make me happy?” She asked.
He looked at him but quic-kly looked away.
“I wanna be friends with you even if it sounds impossible, I find your craziness cute, and…I think you’re not that bad” he said.
She smiled and faced the stars again.
“You saw my emotional side twice today” she said
“I saw it twice before today, when you were talking to Eddy on the rooft©p the other time, and when I pu-ll-ed you to the rooft©p after the fight with Melissa” he said.
” Oh, so you saw it four times alre-ady, lucky you” she said and he smiled.
” You’re different but… Not bad” he said and she smiled.
” Are you sure about that?” She asked, finally turning to him
“Sure” he said
“Even if I eventually turn to a monster?” She said
” Huh?”
*Trust me if by any chance I found out it was your parents who did that to my parents, I’ll kill them” she said
” I believe everyone has to pay for his or her mistakes no matter the price” he replied.
” Right, you changed too, you’re not the arrogant Drew I met” she said and he smiled.
” You made me change” he said seriously
“Why?”
“You dislike arrogant people around you, I bec@m£ cool headed because…”
” You wanna be closer to me” she said and he nodded.
” Why were you crying by the way?’ he asked.
” I always say love is a bastard, but I never knew the bastard will get into me” she said.
” Ion un-derstand” he replied.
” I thought it was a joke when I started getting palpitations whenever Eddy is around but as I spent more and more time with him, I realized it’s for real, my crazy heart beats fas-ter around him or at the thought of him” she said and Drew couldn’t hide his shock.
” You’re in love with Eddy?” He said shockingly.
“You’re shocked too right?, Well I found it crazy too cos I never expected it” she said.
” So…you were crying cos of that?” He asked hurtfully.
” He loves me too, but Olive loves him madly, I like Olive a lot…. though she knew he likes me, she never showed signs of jealousy. Though she’s hurt but she always tried to keep it all in, I don’t want to hurt her” she said.
” So….you’re giving up for her?” Drew asked
“He confessed tonight as a result of jealousy that I’m going out with you,my heart fluttered immediately he said he loves me, but i had to st©p it when I remembered Olive, I denied my feelings and told him about Olive but it hurts like damn, I was in tears before I knew it” she explained .
” So .. now?’ Drew asked.
“I wanna be friends with you, I wanna use you to forget about him” she said.
” Friends with me?”
” You don’t want that?” She asked
“No…I mean…. it’s surprising, but don’t worry, you can use me all you want” he smiled.
” Thanks for borrowing me your arms earlier” she said
“I was happy to do that” he smiled and she giggled.
” But you’re a brute, I mean… sl@pping madam Jillian, she’s one of the biggest contributors in our school” Drew said.
” I don’t care if she’s the principal, she called me worthless” she replied.
” You’re crazy” he smiled
” Thanks” she replied bluntly.
“Wednesday is the principal’s birthday p@rty, let’s go together” he said.
“I don’t want to, I hate p@rties” she replied.
” But you wanna be friends with me, I love p@rties so?” He said.
” You’re something else” she curved herl-ips and he smiled
” Deal?” He said anxiously.
” I find it ha-rd to say deal….why do I feel like something bad will happen that day” she said
” Are you a seer?” He asked.
” No but my intuitions never lie, let’s wait and see” she replied.
They chatted for about two hours there before heading out of the place.

Getting home after dropping BB at home, Drew got into the bathroom and had a cool shower. He spent close to an hour in there, thinking ha-rd .
“She loves Eddy?”
That question floated in his head without answer for what looks like forever till he decided to come out of the shower.
He put on shorts and one of his be-dtime shi-ts before sitting in front of his l@pt©p.
“What do I do?” He thought restlessly.
He tried pla-ying games on his l@pt©p but he lost interest quic-kly and stood, he started pacing around ..
“I feel for her. Definitely I’m in love with that psycho”
His phone rang and he picked the call, it’s Theodore.
“Shoot tommorow by 5pm, Moonlight studios, and Kayla won the contest for your p@rtner” he said
” Even better, I’ll see you tomorrow” he said and hung up
He got his blindfold and used it before falling on the be-d.
“Bright” he whispered slowly.

A restaurant**
“I had fun tonight, thanks to you” Austen said as she c@m£ out of it with Nikita.
“I had fun too, thanks to you too” she said naughtily and he smiled.
” You look too cute” he said, st©pping beside his car.
“I can’t wait to get my sight, I’ll know if you’re handsome or not” she said.
” I called the doctor this morning and he said you’re the next in the list, let’s hope till the end of this week or next week” he said.
” Sure” she replied, hanging her arms on his n£¢k.
“k!ssme” she pouted and Austen giggled.
“You do unexpected things these days” he said.
“k!ssk!ss” she pouted and he was about to do that when his phone rang.
“Who’s that spoiler” she said .
“Dad” Austen replied, staring at the caller ID.
” Oh … Sorry” she said childishly.
“Silly” he smiled and picked up
“You nee-d to come see me right now” Das said.
” Why? ” He asked.
” I nee-d to tell you something important” he replied
“Important?”
“plea-se” Das replied and he sighed.
“Ok” Austen replied and hung up.
“We’re going to see your dad?” She asked.
“I’ll just drop you home first” he replied.
“No I’ll follow you” she replied and they both got In the car.
The drive to Das’s mansion was fast so they got there shortly.
He went in with her and met Melissa and Jillian in the living room.
“And what the hell are you doing here with that bit-ch beside you” Jillian said.
” You aren’t supposed to set your foot here” Melissa said
Austen ignored them and Das appeared.
“Das did you invite them?” Jillian asked.
“It’s my house so shut your tra-p” he replied
“Bastard” Jillian replied
“Be fast, I still nee-d to drop her home” Austen said
” Das looked at Nikita before talking.
“Austen you nee-d to protect her with all you have” he said
” Why are you telling me?” Austen asked confusedly.
” I’m just saying….” Das said slowly.
“Is that what you wanna say?” He asked.
“Yeah” Das replied.
“Ok, I’ve always been doing that so it’s useless telling me again” he replied and left the house with Nikita immediately..
” Mum!!!!” Melissa screamed.
“What?” Jillian said in shock
“Kayla won the contest for Drew’s p@rtner tommorow” she said, crying so much, throwing her phone away.
” What!, I gave the directors stacks of cash, how dare they stab me in the back” Jillian said.
” I hate you mum” Melissa said and ran upstairs while Jillian rushed after her .

Nikita got home and met BB asleep on the be-d while Eddy sat beside her, staring at her face.
“Lover boy” she smiled
“Why that name” he replied.
“I know your feelings, you can’t hide from me” she replied.
“She doesn’t love me, Olive loves me instead” he replied sadly.
“Love is unfair sometimes, those who we love find it ha-rd to love us back” she said.
” Exactly my problem” Eddy said sadly.
” Don’t be sad, that only means she’s not for you, try to get over her even if it’s ha-rd ” she said.
” I nee-d to pee” he replied and left for the bathroom.
Nikita sat in front of the dressing mirror and her mind went to Das
“They must have resumed the project, that’s why he’s telling him to protect me, but why?, He’s p@rt of the project so why? ” She wondered.

Next day, California**
Skye waited patiently in the uncompleted building in an un-derdeveloped area, Asher might show up anytime so he’s at alert
No one will dare toy with a serial killer .
His entry was more quiet than he thought though.
“You’re the bastard who wanted to meet me” he said behind him and Skye quic-kly faced him.
He’s hefty like he has Imagined.
“I just wanna ask a question” he replied
“Do I look like a teacher?” Asher asked, lowering the hoodie from his head.
” Ric and Vic Marshalls five years ago” Skye said.
“I killed them and a doctor gouged out their eyes, Diego and his gang disposed their b©dy into a river” Asher said emotionlessly.
Skye wished he could pu-ll out his ton-gue immediately but he calmed down, if he wants to get any information from him, he has to apply wisdom.
“Who as-signed you to kill them?” He asked.
“And who are you to question me?” Asher said.
“How much do you want?, I’ll give you any amount, just tell me who as-signed you to kill them” Skye said.
” I don’t nee-d your money cos I don’t kill for money, I kill for fun” he replied.
” Just tell me alre-ady!” Skye yelled, rushing to gr-ab his shi-t.
“Who are you?, You know the couple?, They have no siblings left and I was as-signed to kill their only daughter too, I can remember kidnapping her, I killed her with a rod that night and I disfigured her face, it was so sweet, one of the sweetest murders I’ve ever committed” Asher said, smiling devilishly
Skye’s throat ran dry as she stared at him
“You did what?”
“I killed the family of three, fv¢k off I have nothing to tell you about who s£nt me!” Asher blurted and started leaving
” Bastard!” Skye yelled and pu-ll-ed out his gun
He sh0t at Asher but he ducked and rolled on the ground.
He stood and Skye sh0t him again, it hit his che-st but it’s as if nothing hit him.
“I’m a rock, I’m not freaked by filthy bullets, try something better next time” he said and ran out.
Skye chased him but he’s alre-ady gone when he got out
Skye knelt down frustratedly.
“No….no it’s not Bright, it’s not her!, She’s not dead, I can feel it…you can’t possibly kill her!” He cried.

Texas…. Moonlight studios, 6pm**
Drew just finished dressing up for the first round of the shoot.
He’s wearing shorts and a colourful polo shi-t then an hat … Picnic concept
Kayla is wearing a short colourful go-wn then a ribbon was tied on her hair.
Drew l@yon the colourful picnic mat and re-ad a book silently, Kayla sle-pt on her back and placed her head on him, eating apple.
“Yeah…that pose is just great, I love this” the director said and the c@m£ra lights shone everywhere as they started snapping their pictures…they changed poses each time.
Melissa watched from the door and smiled wickedly.
“And now I don’t think I can tolerate you anymore Kayla, I’ll kill you” she muttered hatefully.

Claus hospitals**
Jillian looks surprised when she saw Mr and Mrs Kaz in doctor Claus office when she entered.
Doctor Claus actually summoned her.
“You both are in Texas?” She said surprisingly.
” Yeah, since two days ago, I was planning on discussing something with you concerning Melissa and Drew but I’ve been deprived of time, something c@m£ up” Mr Kaz said
” What?” Jillian asked curiously.
“Project F3” doctor Claus said
“The failed project?” Jillian said
“Yeah, we’re resuming cos the specimen is back” Mrs Kaz said.
“Really?, I knew it immediately I saw the framed letter, I knew she s£nt it…that br@t is br@ve” Jillian said, her eyes shinning with greed
“We’re involving only you this time, Das is being difficult and he’s becoming an hindrance” doctor Claus said.
” We can just take him out of the way, I want money” Jillian said.
” I was planning to do that… I’ve gathered some guys, Nikita will be captured soon, I’ve put the necessary things in place in my un-derground lab, the only thing remaining is her” Claus said.
” Where’s the girl pres£ntly?” Jillian asked
“She’s someone you know, Austen’s girl…the one who works in his office” Mrs Kaz said.
” I can’t believe this” Jillian’s eyes wi-de-ned
” She is” Claus said.
” Fabio and his wife will soon be here, then we can plan together” Mr Kaz said.
” I can’t ask for more” Jillian smiled wickedly.

Next day….. Sunshine high hall, 7pm**
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you Mr Daphne, happy birthday to you” the students and family sang as the Principal cut the cake, it’s his fiftieth birthday.
Everyone cl@pped and he smiled wi-dely.
” Principal is so sweet isn’t he?” Kayla said.
” Yeah” Olive said sullenly.
” Hey you’ve been quiet, did something happen?” Kayla asked.
” BB told Eddy how I feel about him” she replied.
“Really?, When?”
” Monday night, it just happened somehow and now I don’t know how to face him and it seems like he has been avoiding me since then” she replied
Kayla sighed and held her shoulders
” Maybe he nee-ds time”
“Maybe, but I’m scared, ion want to get rejected” she replied.
Kayla hvgged her for comfort.
” I’m not sure but…. just be optimistic, Eddy isn’t here either” she said
” Yeah, and I don’t think BB is coming” Olive replied.
” She said she’s not a fan of p@rties, I miss that psycho” Kayla smiled.
” Let’s snap” Olive said and brou-ght out her phone, they snapped two selfies and Drew appeared.
“Drew” Kayla smiled.
“Hey, good job yesterday” he win-ked
“Thanks” she replied and he hvgged her lightly.
Melissa held her cu-p more ti-ghtly, staring dangerously at them.
“Where’s BB?” Drew asked.
“She’s not coming” Olive said
” She’s coming” Drew said as-suredly.
Kayla got a call from her manager but she couldn’t hear what she was saying cos of the loud songs so she left the hall, Melissa followed her.
BB c@m£ in immediately, she cut her hair alre-ady, it bec@m£ more shorter and she dyed it.
Drew’s heart started beating so fast immediately he sighted her… She looks good, more cute.
“Whoa!, You look good in the new colour” Olive smiled.
“It’s just for a while, I’ll soon wash the dye and go back to my natural black” she replied and faced Drew who’s still staring.
“Hey buddy” she waved in front of him and he c@m£ back to his s-en-ses.
“Oh…hey hi” he said awkwardly
She hvgged him lightly. “Don’t crush on me, I’ll crush you” she whispered before breaking the hvg.
Drew smiled at her bluntness.
“I’ll get us drinks” he said and left for the servers desk.

Kayla finished speaking with her manager on phone at the hall rooft©p and sighed.
“She can be so problematic” she smiled and turned to go but saw Melissa behind her, glaring devilishly at her.
“Melissa?” She said shockingly.
“Are you planning to take Drew away from me?* She said, walking closer
Kayla shifted back.
“What are you talking about” she said
“I was supposed to win the contest for his p@rtner!” Melissa yelled.
” Oh, you’re furious that the fact that your mum bribe-d the board of directors didn’t work this time around?, Well I have nothing to say, you just have to agree with the fact that…. you’re not competent” Kayla said and made to go but Melissa pu-ll-ed her back.
” Let me go!” Kayla whimpered, struggling to break free.
” Just die, I’ve vowed to kill you” Melissa said, hitting her
Kayla f0rç£fully broke free from her and staggered backwards towards the edge.
It was ha-rd to hold herself as she struggled to stand still.
Melissa watched as Kayla’s leg sli-pped over the edge of she fell down the rooft©p.
