BB sighed and re-leased herself from his grip before facing him
“Are you high?” She said
“I was only saying my mind” he replied slowly
“Ok Mr mind, let’s go in….I can’t wait to see Kita” she said
” She’s not back yet” he replied and that instant, Austen’s car stĀ©pped in front of the house.
He stepped out of it then helped Kita out before leading her to them
“Finally” BB said
“Bright .. you’re back” She smiled
“Yeah, Mister Rick insisted I go home early today” she replied
” He’s so considerate… Eddy I can s-en-se you” she replied
” How was your day?” He asked, taking her from Austen
” Was fun, yours?” She asked
“Not so good, Bright was si…. ouch!!”
Bright stepped on his toes ha-rd
” Oh no!!!” He continued screaming, leaving others in confusion till BB re-moved her shoe
“What’s wrong?’ Nikita asked worriedly
” Nothing sis….let’s go in” he replied, hiding his pains, Austen smiled, seeing it all
They went in and Austen followed behind,,
“Are you planning to sleep here again?” Eddy asked immediately they got in
“No, I c@mĀ£ to talk to you” he replied
“Me?”
“Yeah…” He replied and Eddy led him to a separate spĀ©t in the living room
“I’m all ears” he said
“Actually…I wanna make a request” Austen said
” Say it alre-ady” Eddy replied impatiently
” Can Nik follow me to California tommorow?” He asked slowly
” California?, For what?” Eddy said Immediately
“It’s concerning the company and I…kind of nee-d someone to accompany me” he replied
*You don’t have a PA?” Eddy said
” I do, but he’s a guy”
” So…you want a girl?, What about your secretary?”
” I really don’t remember talking randomly to her” he replied
” So now you want my sister to follow you?”
” She won’t go if you tell her not to” Austen replied
” She’s not coming with you” Eddy replied
“Why?”
“She’s not coming, you know her condition, how can you travel to California with her in that state, I cherish her a lot cos she’s the only one I have but now you wanna take her away?, No Mr Austen” he replied
” I un-derstand what you mean…but what if I promise full protec-tion?”
” Still no, and now you nee-d to leave” Eddy said and Austen sighed, he looked over at Nikita and felt so sad, hiring a girl is what he can’t do… how can he go to California with a stranger?
He left the house slowly with sadness without saying bye.
“Boss left alre-ady?” Nikita said surprisingly when she couldn’t hear his voice anymore
“Yes, just now” Eddy replied
“He left without saying bye?” She said worriedly
” I can’t allow you to follow him to California, it’s too risky” Eddy said
” You don’t trust Mr Austen?” BB said, looking at Eddy somehow
“Not like I don’t trust him but….
“He has been protecting Nikita since she started work with him, he even boosted her mood, didn’t you notice she bec@mĀ£ more lively and happy since she started working with him?, Think for once and stĀ©p being overprotective, not like you’ll marry her” BB said and started eating
Eddy looked at her for long before giving Nikita a spoon, they ate silently and everyone retired to be-d in their usual slee-ping position
Eddy by the right, BB by the left and Nikita at the middle
Eddy covered up his face, he’s not slee-ping though, just thinking about what BB said earlier
Nikita looks worried, she kept tapping her phone screen repeatedly, wanting to talk to Austen
Eddy might be grumpy at times and during those times, he talks harshly…the fact that Austen left without saying bye is so disturbing
*Did Eddy chase him away?*
The thoughts stayed on her mind althrou-gh and she waited for his call but he didn’t call
She sat up on the be-d and took her phone again
“Call Mr Austen” she said Into the phone and it slotted into dial mode, the phone automatically dialled his line and she patiently waited for him to pick
“Nik” his voice c@mĀ£ after he picked and she smiled shortly
“You left without saying bye, you didn’t call too” she said
“Eddy told me to leave so I had no choice, I didn’t want to say bye cos it’ll only make me miss you more… and I was just about to call when you did, so you won’t be able to follow me, he said no” he said sadly
” I’m sorry, I just have to do what he wants when it comes to my movements, he’s like my eyes” she replied
” I un-derstand…by the way I’ll miss you, I’m leaving by past 8 tommorow* he said
“When will you return?” She asked
“Two days to come” he replied and she sighed
” I’ll….” She said , stĀ©pping halfway
She wanted to say she’d miss him too but she stĀ©pped herself
“What?” He asked
“Nevermind, just..take care of yourself and be happy over there” she said
” It’ll be ha-rd to be happy when you won’t be there .. but it’s ok, be fine too” he replied
” Goodnight” she said
” Goodnight Nik” he replied and hung up
Nikita breathed ha-rd after he hung up…. she l@yback on the be-d and tried getting some sleep but she couldn’t
“I feel somehow” she muttered to herself
Eddy has been listening to their conversation and he changed position, sitting up afterwards
“Kita” he said and Nikita sat up too
“Eddy?, You’re not asleep?”
“I’ll help you pack your bags” he said
” What do you mean?”
” For the trip to California tommorow” he replied and Nikita smiled

Drew’s place**
” You’re sick again?, This will be the fourth time this month, aren’t you tired of developing fever everyday?” Theodore complained to Drew who’s slee-ping on his be-d
Since the drive with crazy BB, he has been feeling somehow and after the shoot, he developed fever… slight one though
“I’m ok” he said slowly
“Then eat” Theodore said
“You’re not the boss Theodore so you don’t make the rules, I do” he replied
” I know, but no rule says we must eat, it’s a natural thing Drew, you have to eat” Theodore said
” Get out of this room” Drew replied, turning his back on Theodore
“You’re chasing me now?, Really?”
“Just go!” Drew yelled loudly
Theodore stood and left the room slowly, closing the door behind
“Bastard” Drew muttered sickly

Das Malcolm’s mansion**
“What do you mean you’re not attending the meeting tommorow, so your worthless son is gonna be attending in your place?, Unbelievable!” Jillian complained as Das sipped wine from his cu-p in the living room
“I’m not so well, do you know how ha-rd it is to talk and walk?, I’ve got crazy headache and all you could think of is this?” Das replied, looking at her hatefully
” But dad….I like the son of the Kaz family, I wanna get engaged to him,. Can’t you just go for my sake and talk to his dad for me?” Melissa said
” So you’re trading my life for a worthless engagement right?, Now I know you both are thoughtless and inconsiderate,out of my way!” He yelled as he made his way to his room
” Mum what to do?, Kayla will surely get Drew at this point” Melissa cried
Jillian hvgged her ti-ghtly, stro-king her hair gently
“Guess I’ll have to go…I won’t let that bastard know, he’ll be shocked to see me, I’ll go for you” she said
” You’re the best mum” Melissa smiled, hvgging her ti-ghter

Next morning…8:00**
Austen thought about what might be up as his driver drove him to Nikita’s house, no matter how ha-rd ….he just can’t pinpoint what it might be
Eddy actually called him and told him to come over before leaving for his flight
He didn’t have the slightest thought of having to leave with Nikita as he drove there
He got there and the car pu-ll-ed up slowly, he c@mĀ£ out and saw Eddy and BB with Nikita in front of the house, Eddy is holding a bag which gave him slight suspicions
“Good morning Mr Austen” Eddy greeted politely, surprising him
” Hey Eddy’ he replied, shifting his eyes to Nikita.. she’s wearing a blue go-wn and an hat…. she’s too adorable!, Then for the first time, she’s wearing al-ipstick, it gave herl-ips the perfect tempting shape, more tempting than it used to be
“fvĀ¢k” he thought, staring ha-rd till Eddy tapped him, handing the bag containing Nikita’s stuffs to him
“Take care of my sis.. plea-se” he said
Getting it immediately, Austen hvgged him
*I dare not do the opposite, thanks Eddy” he said
” I don’t have to say much, a scratch mustn’t appear on her and she mustn’t cry” BB said..
” Sure, thanks guys” he replied and Eddy tĀ©uƧhed Nikita’s hair fondly.
” I’ll call you” he said
“Ok… I’ll miss you” she replied and hvgged him
She hvgged BB next and BB pat her back
“I’ll miss you”
“Same here” BB said, re-leasing her
BB left with Eddy on the bike immediately and Nikita bec@mĀ£ strangely nervous.
“You look more pretty” Austen said, having a better view of her
“Thanks” she replied and before she knew it, he hvgged her
“I’ll protect you in California just like I promised” he whispered
” I trust you” she smiled, hvgging him back
They stayed that way for a minute before Austen broke it,he opened the car door for her and helped her in

Eddy rode with BB awkwardly, wanting to talk about what happened last night but seems like he’s not getting the courage
She suddenly faced him.
“Have something to say to me?” She asked
“Are you mad at me about last night?” He asked
“I’m not, just don’t do it again, Olive will be happy if you do exactly same to her” she replied
” Olive?, Why?’
“You’re so clueless” she replied
“By the way why are we going to school on bike?” He asked
” It’s still so early, I’m going for one delivery before I’ll come to school so right now I’m going to the pizza shop” she replied, stĀ©pping at the bus station
He c@mĀ£ down from the bike and she sighed
“Eddy!” Olive’s voice called from the other side of the road , she’s actually coming to ride the bus too
“Catch you in school” BB win-ked and rode away
Eddy watched as she rode away till Olive tapped him
“Hey!” She waved cheerfully
“Olive…let’s go” he said, leading the way to the bus, Olive held his hand but he quic-kly re-moved it
“Sorry” she said slowly and walked behind him slowly

BB got to the house she’ll be delivering to and flexed her f!ngersfirst
“Can’t believe it’s some minutes to 9 alre-ady, I’ll be late” she complained to herself as she c@mĀ£ down from the bike before taking the pizza package
She looked at the big mansion and nodded. “I wonder who eats pizza this early”
She walked to the door and rang the doorbell…
It only took a second before the door opened and a lady who looks like a maid opened the door, she took the package from her and was about to pay when a voice interrupted
“I have to check weather it’s my taste before paying”
BB looked up and almost immediately, Drew appeared…. maybe he just finished washing his hair, it’s we-t, sticking rebelliously to his face
Her eyes wi-de-ned and she lost it for a second before getting back
“Wacko” he said surprisingly
“I knew it, a normal person can’t order pizza this early” she said
Drew held his head and tried to form an answer but a foreign car stĀ©pped in front of the house and out of it c@mĀ£ his dad
He has been in Texas since yesterday and he’s aware but….
He has a meeting to attend, he was expecting him to be back in California alre-ady but here he is ..
This can’t be happening…he has to form an excuse fast…
Another glance at BB, he pushed her swiftly to the wall….
Mr Kaz stĀ©pped on his tracks immediately Drew smashed hisl-ips on BB’s.
