Austen’s ears behaved like they aren’t his, he looked at her unbelievably, like she’s joking
“Wait….are you saying…. you’re accepting my offer?” He said, leaning in closer to her
” Yes….but on one condition” she replied
“I’ll do anything…I mean anything” he said, beaming with handsome smiles, too happy and right now he might just die or happiness
The girl who makes his heart thump at every of her moves is sitting in front of him now, holding his hand, telling him she’s re-ady to work for him..the feel of her palms on her hand is enough to drive him crazy right now, it’s so tender,,
“Mr Austen” Nikita said, finding the next line ha-rd to say, she just kept holding his hand
He noticed that and re-moved his hand from her hold, he held her hands instead
“Don’t be scared, I can do anything you ask, just talk to me” he said and that kind of built up her confidence
” My….my sis got arrested” she said
“Why?”
“She beat up the popular model Drew Kaz” she replied
” The girl is your sis?” He asked
“Not my blood sis but she’s like a sis to me” she replied
” Drew is haughty and egoistic, I’m sure he’s the one at fault, I nee-d to talk to him” he said
” You…. know him?” She asked
” Yeah, we met twice and he started addressing me as his big brother, his personality is just bad…. I’ve addressed that during our second meeting but….he’s not re-ady to change, but don’t worry I’ll talk to him, I planned to go see him at the hospital after leaving this place” he replied
” I’ll go with you” she replied and Austen smiled, looking at her tender hands that he’s holding, he ru-bbe-d the back of it with his thumb shortly before re-leasing them
He drank the remaining coffee in his cu-p and stood, Nikita did the same and asked Hammy for permission before leaving the cafe with Austen,,
He opened the car door for her and helped her in, staring at herl-ips suddenly,….they were so cute…small and thin
He stayed motionless for two secs, staring at her face
She’s so pretty…. His heart raced more ra-pidly and he coughed slightly, bringing himself back , he closed the door and went in throu-gh the other side
He told the driver the hospital and he moved the car.

Hospital**
“It’s 7pm alre-ady, ion think he’ll wake up tonight, do you think?” Kayla asked the doctor when he c@mĀ£ for Drew’s checkup
“Let’s just wait, he might wake up fas-ter than expected” the doctor replied and left after a while
” And why is his parents not here yet?, I heard he has a baby sis too, why are they not here?” Gemma said
” They’re against his modelling profession, didn’t you know?’ Kayla replied
“Really?”
“Sure, his parents are f*vking rich like you know, they have a lot of companies to themselves which they expect him to manage but he insisted on doing modelling and the company management together… they’re against it so he’s not in good terms with them” Kayla replied, taking his hand in her palms and ru-bbing it gently
“Why am I just hearing this, I thought I knew everything about him” Gemma said
” I actually bribe-d his manager to tell me , not everyone knows, not even spoilt Melissa” Kayla replied, k!ss!ngDrew’s hand
” Never knew you also have a crush on him” Gemma smiled
“He’s the dream guy of every girl in the teen modelling industry, but as for me…. he’s alre-ady mine” Kayla smiled
” How?”
” My parents are meeting with the Kaz family in California next week, don’t you think they’d talk about matching us together?” Kayla said
” So your parents know his parents” Gemma said
” No, actually this will be their first meeting to talk about business, but I’ll tell them to bring up the matter during the meeting, no doubt he’s mine alre-ady” Kayla said and looked at Gemma who win-ked
” You’re lucky….. You don’t boast of your parents money, all you spend was made by you…not like me who’s nothing in this industry without her parents” Gemma said
” You’re still better than Melissa” Kayla giggled
” fvĀ¢king true, her dad’s influence is what got her to where she is today…but truth be told, she’s beautiful” Gemma said
” I know” Kayla replied
Austen entered the ward immediately, holding Nikita’s hand
“CEO of MM!” Gemma screamed, smiling as she stood
“OMG it’s true, good to see the most handsome CEO in Texas today” Kayla smiled
” How are you guys doing… Kayla and….
” Gemma” Gemma replied
” We’re ok, are you connected to Drew ?’ Kayla asked
” Sure, he’s like a brother to me, when did the doctors say he’ll be waking up” Austen asked, moving closer to his be-d to tĀ©uƧh his forehead
“He says he might wake up sooner than expected” Gemma replied, looking at Nikita whose hand is still held by Austen
“Your…. girlfriend?” She asked
“Oh…no, she’s….a friend” he replied
” Blind?” Kayla asked, noticing her eyeba-lls,,
“Yes” Nikita replied
“Oh I’m sorry…. But truth be told how can you be so pretty” Kayla said
” I was just about to say the same thing….I mean….i mean it when I say you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen in Texas, you’re seriously beautiful, I envy you” Gemma said and Nikita smiled
Austen looked at her and smiled too, they’re of course saying the truth….his thought is that she’s the most beautiful he has ever come across since he was born
“Gemma is right…. you’re pretty swears, by the way I’m Kayla Fabio” Kayla said
” I’ve always heard of you, being the most popular teen model ain’t easy” Nikita replied
” Thanks cutie” Kayla smiled
“And I’m Gemma….I don’t have a place in the industry, I guess I might be the twentieth most popular” Gemma said
” No, everyone is… when it’s your time, it’ll come” Nikita smiled
“Gosh!, Can’t believe I’m falling for your smile, how can everything about you be so ethereal…you look unreal I swear” Kayla said
” Thanks” Nikita replied
” Are you guys staying overnight?” Austen asked
“Kayla will be staying” Gemma replied
” plea-se take care of him” he said
“Sure, and I hope that BB girl rots in jail” Kayla replied and Austen can feel Nikita holding him ti-ghtly
” I’m pretty sure Drew is at fault, it’ll all get revealed when he wakes up” Austen said
” Are you supporting the girl?” Gemma asked
” I’m neutral, just that Drew is someone I know very well” he replied and smiled before leaving the ward with Nikita
“What are we gonna do, everyone is supporting him, will BB really stay in jail?” She asked hurriedly, worry tied a knot on her forehead as she stood with him
“Calm down Nik, it’s me…. and I’m promising that I’ll do anything possible to bring her out ok?, Just trust me plea-se” he said and she nodded though she still looks worried
“I’m sorry” he said and pu-ll-ed her into a light hvg, she stayed for the one second before he let her go
“Let’s go” he said and took her hand, leading her out of the hospital

Hammy’s coffee cafe**
“She left with Mr Austen?, That per-vert?” Eddy said Immediately Sunny told him
” You don’t have to be paranoid about it, she’s fine with him, stĀ©p being overprotective” Sunny rolled eyes
” I don’t trust him, no matter how much I want to” he replied
“He’s really not a bad person, he’s re-ady to help concerning BB” Sunny said
” Huh?” Eddy said
” Sure” Sunny replied
” By the way I somehow got the footage of the CCTV c@mĀ£ra on that road, it captured everything that happened so I think Drew himself should be re-ady for troubles once he wakes up” Eddy said
” That’s brilliant, how did you manage to get it” Sunny said
“The operators has been payed by Melissa to delete it, we luckily eavesdropped on their conversation by the door and Immediately she left, we went in and…. just a punch from me made the operator pas-s out , then we got it” Eddy said, bringing out the flashdrive
” It’ll be so easy” Sunny smiled
Austen took Nikita back into the cafe and Eddy rushed to take her from him
“Are you ok?” He asked, tou-ching her forehead
“StĀ©p getting unnecessarily worried Eddy, I’m fine” she replied and Eddy looked at Austen.
” Thank your stars” he said
“I can never harm her, I’m not a bad person Teddy…if only you’d just trust me” he said and Eddy glared
” And who told you I’m Teddy… it’s Eddy…. Eddy Magnus” he replied and Austen smiled
” I think Teddy is the full name” he tea-sed
“And I said I’m not Teddy!” Eddy snapped
” Ok Eddy, I hope we get along soon” Austen said
” Whatever” Eddy replied
” Nik… I’ll see you tommorow morning” Austen said
“Ok Mr Austen….drive safely” she waved as he left
” We got our hands on the footage of the CCTV” Olive said
” Really?” Nikita smiled
” Sure, Drew is so dead” Eddy smiled

Das’s mansion**
” You got sl@pped by the bastard?, No way he’ll pay for this… how could he!” Jillian barked loudly after Melissa told her about Austen
“I swear it mum, he really did, I don’t just know why I easily get sl@pped these days” she replied, eating apple while pressing her phone
“He’ll hear from me soon, I’ll give multi-ply it for him by then” Jillian said
” I love you mum” Melissa smiled and Jillian sighed
” The thought that Das might later decide to completely hand MM over to that bastard is bothering me, I just can’t stand it, you should own it, not him” Jillian said
” I own MM mum, time will tell” Melissa sprouted
“I hope so, so how’s your crush doing?” Jillian asked
“Drew?, I stĀ©pped by at the hospital earlier and dropped flowers … He’ll wake up maybe tommorow” she said
” Should I talk to your dad so you’ll be stuck in an arranged marriage with him?” Jillian said
” Really mum?”
” Yes, your dad will be meeting with the Kaz family and the Fabio family next week, I’ll just tell him to bring it up during the meeting” Jillian said
” Fabio family inclusive?, Kayla’s parents?” Melissa said
” You don’t have to worry, we’re richer and influential than the Fabio family, and don’t you look in the mirror?, You’re much prettier than that so-called Kayla” Jillian said and Melissa went to give her a ti-ght hvg
” You’re the best mum in the world mummy”

Nikita’s place**
Olive actually followed them home… maybe because she wants to see more of Eddy’s face…
They ate dinner together and right now it’s past 9, Olive decided to leave,,
“A phone just buzzed” Nikita said when she heard the sound
“Oh, it’s Bright’s…she left it with me during deliveries, she must have gotten a new message” Eddy said, bringing it out of his pocket
He doesn’t know her pas-sword but the message preview was on the screen….his eyes wi-de-ned
“What?” Olive asked
“She pas-sed the exams! She got the scholarsh!p!, She’s free to resume next week!, Oh jeez!” Eddy screamed happily
” Really?, I’m so glad , she’s really smart” Nikita smiled
” Yeah, she’s smart, I heard the questions were tough but she said they’re too simple” Olive smiled
” Can’t wait for that psycho to come out of jail” Eddy said, still smiling
” I’ll be on my way” Olive said, taking her bag
“Get home safely Olive” Nikita waved
“I will, bye!” She replied, leaving the house, Eddy walked her out till they got to the front of the house
“Get home safely” he said, facing her
“Ok” she replied
“I’ll go in when you leave” he said and she turned to leave but after taking two steps, she faced him and c@mĀ£ back to him then embr@ced him ti-ghtly
He smiled and hvgged her back slightly, she kept it up for a while and immediately she broke it, she pe-cked his cheek
“Goodnight” she said, b!tt!g her l!pcutely
“Goodnight…” He replied and she started leaving though she kept looking back till she left his sight.

Next morning, hospital**
Kayla woke up and yawned softly, raising her head from the be-d, she actually placed her head beside him on the be-d and sle-pt off that way
She smiled for the fact that he’s the first one she saw that morning
“Good morning handsome” she said, took his hand and k!$$Ā£d it
He instantly moved his other hand and she arched a brow, looking at him more closely
“Drew?” She called and his eyes opened slowly
She smiled wi-dely, holding his hand to her cheek
“You’re awake” she said when he opened his eyes fully
He quic-kly took his hand away from her and sat up, holding his forehead afterwards
“Since when have I been here?” He asked, not looking at her
“Yesterday” she replied
“And what about that ugly wacko” he said, finally looking at her
“She’s with the cops, they were waiting for you to wake before moving on with the case, I’ll contact them and tell them they can move on” she replied, getting her phone
” Jail…. nothing more, she’s not supposed to be among humans” Drew seethed, angrily removing the bandage on his head, he requested for a mirror and he was given, he looked at his wounded head and sighed
“For doing this to my face, you deserve to live the rest of your existence in jail” he muttered un-der his breath
The wound was treated and plastered instead
“My phone” he said and his manager c@mĀ£ in, he handed it to him Immediately
“The cops wants to speak to you” Kayla said, giving him her phone
“Yes?” He said
” There’s an evidence right here that’s pointing at you as the real culprit, are you sure you’re the victim?” The cop asked
” Evidence?, Wait I’m coming to that station right now” he replied and got off be-d
“Get me my clothes” he told his manager.

Cops station**
Getting down from his car, Drew made to storm into the station but Austen’s car stĀ©pped in the park at the same time and when he c@mĀ£ out, Drew smiled wi-dely
“Big bro” he said, walking to him
“Egoistic haughty proud kid brother” Austen replied as they hvgged
“It’s been a while, why are you here by the way?” Drew asked
” To save BB”
” Who the hell is BB” Drew said
“The girl who made you bleed”
” What!, You’re here to save her?, You’re on her side?”
” I’m neutral but I just hate cheating, I’m sure you’re at fault….you can’t lie to me” Austen said and Drew looked away
” I dunno” he said and Austen smiled before going back to the car, he helped Nikita out and held her hand into the station while Drew followed
Eddy and Olive are presĀ£nt alre-ady and BB herself is seated with them… BB looked at him hatefully as if to kill him instantly…if looks could kill
“Where’s the evidence?” Drew asked and a l@ptĀ©p was shifted to him, pla-ying on it is the video of how he hit their bike from behind and they fell with the bike, how he hit BB with his car door and she almost fell, how he refused to say sorry before BB did justice
“Drew let’s just settle this quietly and leave…if this video leaks, your career will drown” his manager said
” But she wounded me!” He said in defense
” Didn’t we get wounded too?, Look at my arm” Eddy said, showing him the cut
” My arms and legs hurt cos of the cuts too, should I open them?” BB finally spoke, she stood and showed her arm bruises then rolled up her khaki trou-sers, showing her cuts too
“I got all these and you’re here talking about a warning beating I gave you, consider it that I was pla-ying with you cos if I really wanted to wound you, you’d land in coma… maybe for three months and when you wake up you’d either lose your voice or become deaf” BB said
” Are you talking back at me now?” Drew said
” He’s getting on my nerves” BB said and climbe-d the table that’s in their middle, she jumped down beside Drew on the other side but Drew hid beside Austen
“You’re like Monday in my life seriously…I hate you disgustingly, Eddy you nee-d to upload that video right now” she said
” Ok yeah” Eddy replied and took his phone
” No you can’t do that ” Drew’s manager pleaded
“Pay for the bike you ruined,then for our treatment, I’m taking a million dollars, I’ll be fair” she said
His manager started the transfer processes immediately, BB gave her the account number and got the alert immediately
“All done” he said
“Not yet” BB replied sternly
” What again?” Drew asked
” Write me a letter, I mean…a letter written by you, apologize in the letter and tell me why your br@in is as useless as the K in knife, then I can think of not uploading the video” she said and smiled dangerously before taking off her jail uniform
The shi-t first then the trou-sers, leaving her in her wi-de white singlet and jean shorts
She threw the uniform at the cop on her right side. “Wash it well, next time when I come, I’ll take it from you” she said and ru-bbe-d her hand on her short hair
” I’m outta here…. Dinner on me tonight,… Let’s go” she said, going out of the station.
