I was about to open a door which I think leads to the outside when I heard a voice “what are you doing ”
Hmm.
It wasn’t Hunter’s if not I’ll be shivering by now.
I turn around, it was a lady. She was wearing a very short flair Sk-irt and a silky material as blouse. I think she’s a maid, cuz I’ve seen someone wear this kinda dress when they brou-ght me in.
She move closer.
Give me that ” she says pointing to the dish on my hand. I gave them to her.
You must be lost “she says.
Yes, I was looking for the kitchen to put those “pointing to the plates on her hands” but I guess I went the wrong way ” I explained.
She chuckles lightly, “that’s the way to the balcony, not the way out. ”
Oh, well this house is hvge and this is my first time here, so it’s normal ” I said with a smile.
You are really beautiful, want me to show you around the house “she says.
Well, I nee-d to know everywhere, so my escape plan can be easier.
I would love you do that ” I replied and she smile.
Good then, wait for me here while I fix this. I’ll be back within a flash ” she says grinning.
I laughed and nod my head.
I waited for her in the large living room while she left for the kitchen.

Alright ” I said and follow her.
Seems you will be staying here for sometime, that’s a surprise cos none of Hunter’s past girlfriend get to stay a night in his mansion. ” she laughs.” what I’m i saying, Hunter never had girlfriends, I should say flings instead. ”
I shrug.
I’m not his girlfriend, neither I’m i a fling. I don’t know what I’m doing here actually ” I told her and she looked at me confused.
Oh I get it “she says with a hint of realization on her face.
Guess they all know what type of man their boss is.
She changed the t©pic and tell me some random things in the house.
This is the maid’s quarter ” she says as she points at a big building connected to the main building.
She was currently showing me the outside of the mansion.
Gosh, Hunter is so rich.
Even after all this, he couldn’t forget the money my father owes him.
Remembering my father and what he said this morning makes me really sad.
Lauren are listening ” Maria taps me.
Yeah, that’s her name and she told me she’s Italian-American. She said she doesn’t tell anyone this because if she did, she’s sure Hunter would not have approved giving her a job. And it Suprises her since they always do a background check before hiring them.
Wow ” I g@sps at the big, pure and beautiful swimming pool in front of me. It was right at the back of the mansion.
I feel like jumping in right now. I’ve always loved to swim. It has been my favorite thing to do whenever I’m less busy. I’ve always wanted to be a professional swimmer too when I was a kid. But thing changed when my dad bec@m£ poor. I had to work to make ends meet for my family.
My dream changed. I want to become a successful lawyer. I want to own my own law firm. I want to be one of the most respectable women in the whole wi-de world. I want to be rich so that I can spoil my parents, I don’t want my children to go throu-gh the same thing I went throu-gh, I want to spoil them too and give them whatever they want.
That has been my wish since ten years ago. But I can’t achieve this, when I’m stuck here. I have to get out of here. My final exams are near, I can’t be a dropout.

So this is Hunter’s room” Maria says pointing to a room two doors away from mine.

And this is Ryan’s “she says and points to a room right in front of Hunter’s.

I don’t think so, he hasn’t come around the mansion today. He stays in his penthouse this days “she replies.
Whatever. Not like I want to see him anyway. I’m sure he’s no different from hunter.
Orrahh” I fake yawn.
Maria, I’m tired alre-ady and my legs are hurting me. Thanks for showing me around, it was nice talking to you ”
It’s okay Lauren. Just call me whenever you nee-d me. I will be glad to help you ” she’s said with a wi-de smile showing her cute dimples.
Maria is cute, short and have a have the same hair color like mine. But hers is short and not wavy like mine.
Sure, but how do I call you.. Uhm I mean from the room ” I ask.
There is a small cell phone beside your be-d. You can call if you nee-d something, one of the maid will attend to you. But if you nee-d me, you can easily find me in the maid’s quarter or kitchen ”

I dis£ngage and walk to my room. I closed the door behind me walking to my be-d.
It’s been like an hour since I’ve been staring into space. I couldn’t sleep.

I should have just stayed with Maria for sometime before coming back to the room.
But I was scared Hunter will find me there and torture me again. I really don’t want to cause another trouble knowing I can’t keep my mouth shut if he annoys me.
Maria said Hunter comes back home late in the night silly “my subconscious mind scolded me and I gr0@ntossing and turning around on the be-d.

I was in the bathroom when an idea struck into my head. I climb on the toilet seat and slide the window open. $h!t!. I forgot this is a sto-rey building.
I taught of escaping throu-gh the window, but there is another Way though. I will just ask that my room to be downstairs.
I smile and walk back to the room. Entering the room I met Nanny Lilo arranging something.
Good morning Nanny Lilo ” I greeted her cheerfully.
Good morning darling, how was your night? ”
I shrug. Twas okay ” I replied.
Right, good thing you have taken your bath. Come downstairs for breakfast ”
Sure, hm..can I ask for something ”
What is my dear?”
I want my room to be moved downstairs, can you do that for me ”
I’m so sorry I can’t, you nee-d Hunter’s approval and I advise you don’t ask him ” she says.

Now, I don’t think this plan is going to work but I’ll think of another.

After breakfast, I went in search for Maria, for my plan B.
Okay, let me tell you my plan. Promise you won’t tell anyone about this. Promise.?.
Okay this is it.
I want to escape throu-gh the front door. But that can not be possible since the whole house is guarded with hefty men and I obviously can’t beat them, not even one.
So this is it.
I nee-d a slee-ping pill which I will put in their food. How will it be possible right?
Well, since I’ve made friends with one of the maids. I’m just going to take advantage of that.
But first I nee-d to find Maria.
Few hour later ♥♥♥
So Maria gave me the pill and right now. I’m in the kitchen with her as I watch her and two other dish out the guards food. And I’m just waiting for a perfect timing when they won’t notice.
Can I help you ” I ask them with a fake smile.
No thank you ” one of them says as she carry the tray of food.
fv¢k! This is not going to work.
Ouch!! I screamed and hold my left leg.
OMG what happened ” Maria screamed. I intentionally step on a knife which I intentionally put on the floor. Now my leg are injured with fake tears in my eyes.
fv¢k it, it stings like hell.
I point to the knife on the floor and Maria g@sps.
How can we be so careless ” one of them says and she bent down to check my leg.
Hunter is so going to kill us ”
I really feel guilty right now but I have to do this.
I’m being selfish. Yeah I know.
It’s okay, I won’t let him see this just get me ointment if you have” I told them.
Yes I do, Abby can you plea-se get it, it’s in my bag ” one of them says and Abby run out of the kitchen.
5minutes later she c@m£ back saying she couldn’t find it. I told the girl that directed her to follow her. She complied.
After they left. It’s only Maria with me in the kitchen. She have to leave too.
Huh, Maria can you plea-se get me my hand towel in my room plea-se ” I begged.
Okay stay here. I’ll be back in a giffy ” she says and left.
Good.
I manage to stand up and bring out the pill from my pocket. I quic-kly add it into their food and sat back on the floor. Going back to fake sobbing.

They brou-ght me back to my room and I as-sured them Hunter won’t know about it.
It’s 7:00, now it’s time to escapeee…” I sang and do a joyful dance.
I wear my sandals and pack my hair in ponytail.
The maids will be in their quarter by now and Hunter comes home late. So this my chance.
I opened the door slowly. Checking well, the hallway is empty I run out of the door ma-king sure I made no noise. I climb down the stairs slowly and also looking around. I got to the living room and saw the pile of b©dyguard that use walk around the house with a stupid cold expression on their faces snoring de-eply.
I did a mental grin and ti-ptoed out so as not to wake them up. After getting outside. I took my heels running like a mad dog even with the pains on my leg. I didn’t st©p.
I thought I’ve successfully escape when a voice yelled behind me ma-king me to froze on my steps.
Hey!! The male voice yelled. Seeing that he was moving closer to me, I start to run again but this time I couldn’t run very well because of my injury.
You?” the man says flashing his light on my face.
Let me go! ” I shout as the man carried me on his shoulders taking me back to the mansion.
plea-se, I want to go home ” I cried hitting him with my hands.
You shouldn’t have tried to escape, it will make Hunter furious and he can hurt you ” he says and my wailing increase.
I really pity you, but there is nothing I can do ” he added.

I’m sorry I didn’t fulfil my promise yesterday my phone just st©pped working.
And I’m afraid I will have to rush this story, you can notice I wrote Few hours later and blah. I’m going to make it fast cos of the way my phone is doing this days ion un-derstand and I’m really broke.
But God may do it that I will get money to repair it soon.
