“Mum?” Dora called, after she came into view. Her eyes were locked with her mum’s.
Bellaās lips slowly parted away.
“Am I hallucinating right now?… Is this a f*cking illusion! Are you Doraās doppelganger? What the f*ck is this!” She shouted.
“Mum… I… I… How… did you get here?” Dora stuttered with her eyes feeling drenched with heavy tears.
“I should be the one asking you that! How did you get here? Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be in NY studying?!”
“I can explain, please… Mum” Dora said and the tears rushed down her eyes.
“You don’t have to explain anything! Come with me!” Bella snapped.
Dora turned her head trying to catch a glimpse of Kayden,That was when she remembered, he went to get potatoes at the market.
“Mum… Please, can you just…
Bella who was now close to her landed her a hot sound slap across her face. Dora reacted by whimpering.
“Mum?” Dora muttered with more tears running down her eyes.
“Come with me before I lose my cool!”Bella said slowly
Dora turned to Avia
“Please, tell Kayden what happened in case he starts looking for me. I don’t want him worried”Dora said
Avia just nodded
“Please…” Dora muttered.
“I’ve heard you” Avia said, and walked away.
Dora wiped her tears and ran out. Her mother was in the car waiting. Mike was in the driver’s seat.
“Mum… Can you hold on? Let me get my things. I only have my phone here”
“Forget about them and get in, now!”Bella said
Dora sighed and obeyed quietly. She sat down at the back alone since her mother was at the front sitting with Mike
Both Mother and Daughter said nothing throughout the whole drive.
“Your phone?” Her mother finally spoke out, stretching her hand backward without looking at her.
Dora obeyed and handed her the phone. Immediately, Bella held it, She opened the window and threw it down the bridge below them.
“Mum! What was that for?!” Dora yelled.
“Shut the f*ck up before I stitch that little trash you call mouth!” Bella snapped, dangerously.
“I’m trying to cut ties with that guy. That guy who made you stay back while your mother stressed her a*s off to train you in school”Bella
“Who told you about that?” Dora asked.
“You wouldn’t wanna know” Bella said.
“Anyways,, It’s not his fault. I can explain” Dora said.
“I don’t wanna hear it. Sometimes, I wonder if you are really my daughter!”Bella said
“Me too! I wonder if you are really my mother! Can’t you just hear me out?!” Dora yelled
“I don’t want to. You’re a big disgrace! I don’t get why you had to come to this world!”
“Mum…”
“I’m still wondering what I’m gonna tell the others! I doubted you were really there. If I knew you were really there, I would’nt have tagged Mike along. Mike, please…keep my little secret”
“No problem” Mike forced a smile.
“Mum? What are you planning on doing?” Dora said
“I’m planning on taking you back to NY quietly”
“I really don’t wanna go. I don’t wanna be a cop. I’m really gonna hate you if you send me there”Dora cried
“Hate me, I don’t care cause i really hate you right now”Bella said
“You know what, Mum? Instead of sending me to NY just because of your own desirable and selfish reason, why not send me back to Dad! Maybe, he might be better!!” Dora screamed
Mike suddenly pressed break abruptly and they all reacted by moving their heads. They almost stumbled despite the seat beats.
Mike looked at Bella whose eyes were down.
“Isadora?… If you talk about Dad ever again, I’m gonna get arrested,, Do you wanna know why? Cause I might end up killing you. So while I’m being nice,, keep shut!”Bella yelled

Dora entered her room. It was still the same. She looked around and sighed deeply. She sat down on the bed with tears pouring down her eyes.
She wiped it off but they kept flowing.
“How did Mum know though?” She muttered.

Mike was about driving away when Bella stopped him.
“You wanna come in for alcohol? I wanna drink with someone and you are the only one I can call”
Mike smirked.
“What of your friend who once stayed with you”he asked
“She doesn’t know Doraās here. I just want someone whom I can tell things to while I drink. So, you coming?”
He smiled.
“Sure”
Renee ate slowly while Kelvin drank wine from the glass cup.
“Hold on” Kelvin smiled, and stretched his hand. He clean of the sauce from her lip, and lick it.
Renee blushed.
Kelvin smiled at her and suddenly he felt his heart skip.
“Do you like it?” He asked.
“Its a wonderful delicacy” She replied.
“No doubt about that” He said and they both smiled and went back to their food.

Kayden walked in with two bags of potatoes. Some staffs hurried to him, greeted him and took the bags from him, taking it to the kitchen.
He looked around, and went upstairs. He was actually looking for Dora. After searching without no positive result, Hr called her phone but it wasn’t available so he went to Avia since she was the only one with her before he left that morning.

“You didn’t see her?” He asked, again for the umpteenth time.
Avia nodded.
“Didn’t even see a glimpse of her this morning”she replied
“Hmm… Okay then. I’ve been calling her but she isn’t answering my calls” Kayden said, wanting to leave.
“Kayden ?” She called.
He turned to her.
“You’re finally calling me Kayden not Kay?” He asked.
“Yeah… We aren’t friends anymore. We are simply boss and employee” She retorted.
“So, why did you call me?” Kayden asked.
“Raymond? Do you know where he is? I’ve not seen him last night. He isn’t answering my calls and texts either”Avia asked
“I don’t know. Haven’t seen him”Kayden replied

Bella kept on drinking without having no rest.Mike was now getting worried.
“Take it easy, Bella” Mike said.
“That girl has no fear. Is she even human?!” She said
He sighed.
“Don’t you think its high time she knows about her Dad?” He asked.
Bella chuckled, drunkily.
“How dare she talk about that man? Does she knows how I suffered for her?! I can’t even love cause of her.kelvin and I had to stop cause she didn’t want it! I think Kelvin called her but got rejected. He’s just embarrassed to tell me. He kept on lying, saying he never called her”Bella said
“Let’s not talk about him… I don’t like that Kelvin” Mike quickly said, facing her.
Bella smiled. She was really drunk.
“Mike,Do you like me?”
He blinked his eyes fast.
“Why would I?”
“It’s obvious you like me. You have always liked me but I kind of purposely ignored your feelings”Bella said
Mike faced her while she closed her eyes and rested her jaw in her palm, with her elbow resting on the table.
“But Mike,, Please,,, don’t like me”
“Why can’t I like you?” He asked.
“Dora…My daughter isn’t gonna take it” Bella whispered and her forehead fell on his shoulder. She immediately dozed off.
Mike carried Bella to her room and laid her on the bed. He carefully covered her with the duvet.
He sat on the bed, and brushed her fallen hair. He looked at her and smiled.
“She looks beautiful while asleep” He muttered. He pecked her lips lightly before leaving.

“Welcome to my home” Renee said.
Kelvin smiled as he walked in.
“You have a great place” He complimented.
“Well, Thank you… Have a sit” Renee gestured.
“Thank you” Kelvin said, and sat down on the beautiful sofa.
“Do you care for a can of beer before you leave tonight?” Renee asked, and he nodded.
Renee lifted the canās ring and quickly raised it up. Suddenly, the beer’s froth rose up and began to rush out, spilling effortlessly.
Renee quickly placed her mouth on it, in order to sip out the flowing froth.
She noticed something weird and looked at her front. Kelvin mouth was also there. He tried to help her to sip the froth. He never knew she would sip it too.
Together, they slowly took their lips off the can.
Their eyes were locked with each other like they depended on it.
Kelvin felt his heart her fast and Renee felt hers too. He didn’t know when he slightly pecked her lips.
Renee hiccupped and covered her lips.
Kelvin whispered;
“Seems I won’t be leaving here tonight, after all”
