Dora swallowed hard again and looked at the door.
“Why are you asking me that? Who are you?…Wait! You don’t have to even tell me” Dora said, and scoffed.
“Itās a wrong number!” She swiftly said.
“Oh no,, It isn’t what you think madam” The voice came again.
“Then who are you? Why were you using such a warm and sweet voice on me? Why did you ask if I was alone? Who the hell are you?!” Dora exclaimed
“I’m Victor I’m an accountant and I also the one in charge and in control your account” The voice said.
“An accountant? Victor? I’ve never heard of that name before? Okay, you are in charge and you control my account, so what? What’s up with it” Dora said
“I called because of some issues we noticed this morning and even yesterday evening concerning your bank savings account”Victor said
“And I’m gonna ask again, what’s wrong with it?” Dora asked
“While working, I noticed an interference with your account. It seems someone, probably a very sound and good hacker is trying to get into your account and do away with your savings”Victor explained
“What?! My savings?! My money No…No…No…please! That’s my life in there to be sincere. If the money is gone, consider me gone as well. What are we going to do now What’s…what’s next? Please, I don’t even want a dollar missing from my savings, I’m begging you”Dora pleaded
“Alright dear. That’s why I called. To alert you and do something. Madam, we have to lock your account for now”He said
“Yes, please…Lock it. Lock it till it’s over. I’m also gonna come over to the bank…
“No. There’s no need for that. It’s wastage of time and energy. We can sort it here and now”Victor said
“Please, tell me how” Dora anxiously said.
“Now, all we need is your card pin, the one at the back of your card as well and also your BVN. It would be also great to get your signature. That way, we will get it locked faster… Send a PDF file of your signature via message to this number”Victor said
“Okay, no problem. I’m gonna send it as fast as possible”Dora asked
“Okay dear. We are gonna get it locked as soon as you send them. After few days, we are going to request for you and then you will rush to the bank, follow few procedures and get it unlocked. Good luck. Don’t delay cause it’s dangerous. I’m gonna hang up n..
“Hold on!” Dora suddenly said.
“Yes, Anything else?” Victor asked.
“I don’t know but are you speaking the truth? Is this legit? Are you sure? Can I trust you?” Dora asked
Victor laughed briefly.
“I told you what I need to. As I’m talking to you now, I’m getting a little intereferance with your account. In less than two hours, your account will be changed and your money…gone”Victor said
“No! I’m gonna send the requirements now. Please, do well to help me sort it”Dora said
“Alright. I will. Please, trust me”
“Okay” Victor nodded.
“Thank you so much, sir” She added.
“You are welcome. I’m gonna hang up n..
“Wait!”
“Huh? What’s it again?” He asked, now upset.
“Why did you ask if I was alone earlier? I’m sorry but I need it ask. I’m really curious and the thought has been bothering me ever since”
Victor sighed.
“I didn’t want anyone to hear our conversation”he said
“Why not?” Dora asked.
“You shouldn’t trust anyone. I wanted to let you know without anyone hearing. What if it someone close to you who is trying to hack your account”he said and Dora gasped
“Huh? Some close to me? What do you mean?” Dora exclaimed
“I’m being called for. I’m busy, madam. Please, don’t forget to text those details to me. Have a good day”He and hanged up
“Wait! Wait!!”
“Who’s the thug trying to hack my account. I had better send those things now” Dora thought and began to search her bag for her card.
She took it out, and texted the details to him. Afterwards, She received a message from him
š¬Seen already. Your account will be locked and amended by midnight. Please, avoid going to the bank today because it might cause a switch or change in something. Thanks*
Dora sighed in relief and dropped her phone on the table. She walked downstairs again to meet with Kayden.
She noticed there were few customers now. Most of the utensils which were on the table were being removed by Kayden and Avia and other dishwashers.
Dora smiled and followed Kayden to the kitchen. He noticed her but said nothing. He stired the food on the gas before turning it off.
“Wow…So goodāDora said inhaling the scent
“Hmm…It looks good and tastyāDora said and yawn
“I can see you just woke up” He said.
“Is it obvious? I’ve brushed and I also had a cold bath too” She replied.
“You must be hungry” Kayden said, taking off his white apron.
“Yeah” Dora smiled.
“Do you wanna give me something to eat, life saver?”
Kayden scoffed.
“Let’s eat…We are gonna have Capellini”
“Woah! Can’t wait! We? Wait? We? We are gonna eat together…Awwwnn, so cute. Lead the way” Dora smiled.
“What’s wrong with you? We are gonna eat with Avia. Let’s go” He said and carried the tray of dished meal.
“Aiish!” Dora muttered, and the smile on her face vanished.
Kayden sat with Avia while Dora sat opposite him.
They all ate the food and Avia couldn’t resist but take another round. Dora also did so after she did.
“But you aren’t done with yours. Why don’t you finish yours first” Kayden suggested.
“I just want more” Dora said coldly and looked away.
“By the way, You said you are going today? What’s keeping you waiting?” Kayden asked.
“Huh? Me? I’m sorry but i…
“No, Avia..It’s not you. I’m talking to her” Kayden shook his hand and his head. He pointed at Dora briefly.
Dora swallowed hard. Not yet, she couldn’t go today. She had to solve her bank savings account issue first.
Only then, would she be able to withdraw all her life savings and fly to New York
Dora ignored Kaydenās question. She kept her eyes on the food and continued eating.
“Kay?” Avia called, breaking the silence.
He turned to face her.
“I’m sorry but can I still stay for a few more days? The issue I’m having right now hasn’t been fully resolved”
“It’s fine. You can stay as you want. Take this place as your second home. Till whenever the case is resolved, keep on staying here”Kayden said
Avia smiled, seized his neck and hugged him tightly. Dora watched them with an irked look.
“Thank you so much. You are really kind hearted” Avia said, breaking the hug.
Kayden smiled and scratched his head. His cheek was almost turning red.
“It’s fine. I don’t mind at all” He muttered.
“Then, that’s a draw. I’m also staying here for the main time. But I will be leaving very very soon” Dora said.
“You can’t stay” Kayden quickly said.
“Why not? You allowed her stay? Why can’t I?”Dora frowned but Kayden quickly kicked her foot from underneath. He wanted her to keep quiet.
“What?” She muttered to him.
“Ssh…Just go” He muttered back.
“I won’t. Watch me!” Dora scoffed
Kayden chuckled nervously at Avia and took an angry face to Dora. He took a forkful of the meal into his mouth.
“By the way, What’s your name?” Avia asked.
Dora quickly looked at her.
“What?”
“I don’t know your name…yet”Avia said
Dora looked down at her food and kept on eating. After a few seconds, she replied
“Ask him. He knows”Dora said
“Oh Kay?…Kay,What’s her name?” Avia asked, and turned to him.
“What? Her name?”She asked again
“Hey, I don’t even know your name” Kayden turned his face to Dora
Dora looked back at him.
“What?” She asked.
“You never told me your name” He said.

“Here” The manager said and handed the huge teddy bear custome to Raymond,He also handed him some pamphlets which he would give to passerbys.
Raymond bowed and collected the things from him.
“You are to stay with the others at The main tomorrow. Hand out this pamphlet to passerbys. Make sure you hand out a lot. I want them to know about my amusement park down town and patronize me. You know what I’m talking about?” The manager said.
“Yes sir” Raymond replied.
“What’s the pay by the way?” He quickly asked.
“Hmm…If you hand out everything within that day. I’m gonna give you a free tour with your girlfriend in the amusement park and three thousand bucks”
“Oh my! Thanks a lot sir. That’s a great deal. However, I don’t have a girlfriend yet” Raymond laughed, rubbing his hair with his hand.
The manager laughed, tapped his shoulder and left the scene. Raymond jumped in happiness after seeing him leave.

“So, you don’t know my name?” Dora asked, rolling her eyes.
Kayden shrugged his shoulders while Avia kept staring at Dora
“Well, Iām isadora,you can call me Dora
“Nice to meet you, Dora I’m Octavia. I’m sure you know my name already”
Dora scoffed.
“I was talking to him and not you” Dora said, and quickly took her eyes to Kayden.
“I can’t believe you don’t even know my name” Dora said.
Kayden looked at her.
“You never told me”Dora said
“You should have asked”Kayden replied
“Since we are done eating, I’m gonna take the dishes into the kitchen” Kayden said, and kept the used dishes on the tray.
Avia nodded and watched him stand up. Dora quickly rose to her feet.
“I’m gonna take the forks in” Dora said.
“Don’t bother. I’m gonna take care of it” Kayden retorted.
“I insist on helping. Geez, you don’t have to say no” Dora said and took the forks away.
Kayden sighed and started walking down to the kitchen while Dora followed. They both entered the kitchen and Kayden kept the dishes in the sink. He cleared the tray and kept it inside the sink as well. Dora dropped the forks in the sink and it made a loud metallic clicking sounds.
“Easy!” Kayden exclaimed.
Dora hissed and walked in front of him, restricting a way for him to pass through.
“What do you want now?” He asked, with a slight frown allowing his brows to furrow.
“Say the truth. You know my name”Dora said
“Yes. You’re Dora,you told me earlier right?” Kayden answered
“Why didn’t you know that before i told you” She complained.
“What’s your problem, seriously?. Like I said before, You never told…
“You also didnāt told me your name but I found out anyways”She mumbled
“Good for you. Now, if you can just excuse me”Kayden said
“Kay..It’s a cute name though” Dora smiled.
Kayden looked at her.
“Don’t you think we are a perfect match in heavens?” She asked, still smiling.
Kayden chuckled in an irksome manner.
“I’m Kayden. Kay isn’t exactly my name. It’s just the short form”
“What? But people do call you Kay, right?”
“Uhmm…Everyone calls me Kayden. The only person in this whole planet to call me, Kay is..
“Avia” Dora interrupted with annoyance in her voice. She bit her lower lip after she talked.
“You noticed, right. Avia is the only one who calls me Kay and I want her to be the only one doing that. Just called me Kayden, got that?” He said, drew her sideways and made to pass through.
“I hate the fact she calls you Kay! I don’t wanna call you Kayden…I’m gonna call you a name, only I can call you in this whole planet, got that?”Dora quickly said.
Kayden turned to her and scoffed.
“And what’s would that be?”
Dora felt a smile run through her lips, allowing it to curve and expose her white set of teeth.
“I’m gonna call you Sexy chef. Got that?”
Kayden looked at her, surprised and tilted his neck.
Dora slowly walked past him.
“Thanks for the meal. I really enjoyed the meal…What’s it called again?”
“Yeah..I enjoyed it. Anyways, I want to have a quiet nap upstairs. Bye, sexy chef” She winked and ran out.
Kayden chuckled after watching her leave.
