Everyone was numb after hearing Connor’s words. Doris slowly turned to Tessa.
“Tessa? What is he saying?” Her heart was pounding so ha-rd, and loud.
Tessa looked down at their hands. Doris hand was still trying to hold onto Tessa’s own but it was shaking. She was so anxious and scared.
“Talk to me, Tessa. What is he saying?!” Doris half yelled, with her eyes bringing out tears.
Tessa looked at her. Her eyes were also building up tears.
“I’m sorry but believe it, It’s the truth” Tessa muttered.
Doris inhaled dee-ply, letting her tears run down fas-ter.
“Don’t…let go of me… please,,, you promised” Tessa shook her head.
Doris quickly snapped her shaking hand off. She stood up and almost staggered. She quickly held her stool.
“Doris…
“I wanna be alone” She said, walking away to a corner.
“Doris,,, I-
“Don’t talk to me, please!” Doris warned, aloud.
“You promised you wouldn’t let go of my hand. Why didn’t you fulfill my wish?” Tessa cried.
Doris sniffed, and ignored her. She got to the corner, sat down and hu-gged her knees. She cried and everyone heard her wails.
“Fu-ck” Tessa muttered, and wiped her flowing tears with her arm.
She looked at the others.
Only Frank, Bianca and Lilian were scared. Bianca even fainted. Lucas was in awe while Laura was just not concerned. Her thoughts were probably somewhere else.
“You were a zombie, all this while? And you made me follow you?” Lilian frowned, pointing a fin-gerat her.
Tessa only faced the floor.
“Why are you taking it out on her? Maybe if she didn’t meet you, you would have been long dead” Connor said.
Lilian scoffed.
“She never saved me. Jake did!”
“Jake?” Connor arched his brows.
“And that poor guy sacrificed his life for me!”
“Don’t talk like he’s dead!” Tessa yelled, with her eyes, still pouring down hot tears.
“We all know he can’t survive it! Zombies are almost everywhere” Lilian said. Tessa cried ha-rd.
“And what if I told you Jake is a vampire too?” Connor said.
“And do you think I’m complaining? I’m not complaining about you being a hybrid either. I’m not complaining about Vera and Karl here”
“Then, why are you complaining about Tessa?” Karl mouthed.
Lilian looked at Tessa and shot her a glare.
“It’s obvious. It’s because she’s a zombie and I can’t lie to you, I’m scared” Frank chipped in.
“He said it all” Lilian said, with a clap.
Miss Hannah sighed dee-ply.
“Ma’am? You aren’t saying anything? I supposed you are shocked about us as well?” Karl asked.
“I’m not… not one bit” Miss Hannah said.
“Why?” Vera muttered.
“Cause I don’t nee-d to. Supernatural or not, You guys are still my students and loviest kids. By the way, It seems Tessa can control her zombic nature. Besides, You guys wouldn’t hurt any of us. Also, About Mason….I think Karl has a better explanation for that”
Karl coughed stylishly and scratched his head.
“Hello? Isn’t anyone gonna talk about the zombie here? We could get bitten!” Lilian said, raising her arms and rolling her eyes.
“Can you just shut up!” Connor warned.
“I won’t cause I’m saying the truth and I’m trying to save us all” Lilian whispered, locking her eyes with Connor.
She then walked up to Tessa.
“Tessa?” She called.
Tessa raised her face and both of them looked at each other. Lilian swallowed her fear and crossed her arms.
“I want nothing from you but the truth. I suppose you can do that?” She raised a brow.
Tessa nodded.
“Have you ever tried to bite anyone before? Let see if she really can control her zombic nature” Lilian said, with a sm-irk.
Connor swallowed ha-rd.
“Hey, Lilian” He called, in a whisper.
“No,,, Please… Let her answer” It was Doris voice.
Tessa looked and saw Doris close to Lilian. Her eyes were blood shooted and de-ep. She had cried so much in that few minutes.
“Doris,,,I-
Doris slowly two few steps back.
“Have you ever tried to bite any of us as a zombie before?” She asked.
“Wait…Doris…Just-
“Answer the Fu-cking question!!!” Doris bellowed.
“I’m…sorry” Tessa said, as she cried bitterly.
“I’m really sorry,,, Doris” She said.
“What do you mean?” Doris asked.
Lilian scoffed.
“I’ve tried to… bite you once during your sleep, one night and I swear,,, it was only once. I avoided it and instead bit myself to suppress my urge. I’m really sorry,,,I didn’t mean it. Forgive me, I beg of you”
Doris gasped in fear and covered her mouth. She couldn’t say anything.
“I’m tired of hearing this ugly sh!t” Laura chipped in, with a small voice.
She stood up and walked to Lilian, fiercely.
“You hypocrite” Laura whispered to her, with a stern look.
“What are you saying? Are you blaming me right now for trying to help y’all? Why aren’t you shocked too? Even your twin, why isn’t he all that shocked!” Lilian yelled, with wide-ned opened eyes.
Laura glared at her with a strict look.
“Why? You want us to scream and run out and get bitten by those pa-rticular zombies?”
“Tessa deceived me, Doris…and almost even one who trusted her”
“Ah… I see why,,, You can talk because you aren’t a zombie, huh?… I don’t know why Lucas isn’t all so shocked but let me tell you why I’m not… I’m not shocked cause I don’t have the time to be. I’ve got thoughts more better running on my mind. Like,,, leaving here with no harm and a lot more. Instead, I feel uneasy seeing you”
“Wh…at?”
“Such a noise maker and it’s getting too annoying and stupid already. I guess my sister was a bad dark hunter after all. She couldn’t even catch high school vampires… Pathetic” Laura scoffed, bumped her shoulder against Lilian and walked to the window.
She placed her head on it and sighed dee-ply.
“I just wanna… throw this Fu-cking phone away” Laura said, softly, stylishly touching the IPhone beneath her skirt.
Vera glanced at Lucas who was facing down and he had a mixture of shock and surprise look on his face. He wasn’t just saying anything. He was still in his little state of awe.
Vera only sighed and looked down. She planned to talk to him later.
Doris slowly walked backwards. She went back to the corner, crying her eyes out, while on her knees.
Tessa went to her and knelt down before her, crying as well.
“Doris… Please, I’m sorry,,, forgive me. I never wanted that to happen,,, I swear. I’m sorry,, Please…I’m sorry” Tessa said.
Doris looked at her, sniffed and wiped Tessa’s tears off.
“It’s okay”
“What? Really? You really mean it? Just like that?” Tessa voice vibr@ted.
“Hmm…Hmm”
Doris nodded, and a sad smile surfaced.
Tessa laughed, but instead tears ran down. She had a runny nose too.
“Do you wanna know why I’m forgiving you?” Doris asked.
Tessa shook her head.
Doris slowly held her hand.
“It’s because I made a promise. I wanna fulfill your wish… I shouldn’t make this hand leave mine. Never”
“Dorissss” Tessa cried out.
“I un-derstand why you kept the truth away from me. You didn’t want to hurt me. Neither did you want me to get scared. Everything you did was for a reason”
“I think today was the best and right day for you to tell me the truth. Also, It was a sure thing for me to cry. It was a a sad and creepy story after all” Doris added, and Tessa smiled warmly.
“Ah,,, But please, don’t keep anything away from me… anymore. That’s my own wish”
Tessa nodded, and held her hand ti-ghter.
“I’m gonna fulfill that. Thank you, Doris. I love you so much” She said.
Doris smiled, and opened her arms.
“Care for a hu-g?”
“A ti-ght long one please” Tessa replied, and dived into her arms, hu-gging her ti-ghtly and affectionately.
“That’s so sweet” Miss Hannah smiled, watching them.
Lilian scoffed, and looked away. She went back to her stool and so did, Laura. Bianca later got back to her se-nses, after recovering from the faint.
She was a shy type so she didn’t talk or ask questions. Rather, her face was down.
“Tessa? Doris? Sorry to cut your sweet sistership off but can we have you both here now? Tessa nee-ds to explain the things on ground, including how we can solve it”
Tessa smiled as they broke the hu-g. They stood up and held each other hands. They slowly walked back to their stools.

Kristen, Clef and Lia were pa-nting ha-rd. They were in a small staffroom.
“Fu-ck! How come they were much? I thought I nearly died” Lia didn’t stop pa-nting.
“I’m thirsty. I really nee-d water” She added.
“Me too” Clef said.
“Well, unfortunately there’s no water” Kristen rolled her eyes.
“And who said so?”
Lia scoffed, when her eyes fell on the small aquarium standing on the table a few meters away from them.
The aquarium had two golden fishes in it. They were swimming busily like nothing was going on.
“Wait? What are you thinking?” Kristen asked, and held her hand when Lia stood up.
Lia snapped her hand off and glared at her.
“I’m thirsty! I nee-d some water or would you get me a better one, huh?”
Kristen ru-bbe-d her forehead as she watched Lia move to the gl@$$ aquarium.
Clef and Kristen watched Lia dug her face inside it till she started to drink the water.
“Yuck” Clef said.
Kristen shook her head, and made a barfing sound.
“Eww” She muttered.
Lia just brou-ght out a middle fin-gerfor them and Kristen scoffed.

Mabel grabbe-d Nora hand as they ran to the opposite direction.
“Jake followed the other way, I guess?” Mabel asked.
Nora said nothing. She was tired. She glanced back and saw the zombies moving lazily towards them.
She sighed and looked in front. She saw a zombie but Mabel hit its jaw and they escaped from it.
“A close call” Mabel sighed.
Suddenly, something grabbe-d her leg. She gasped and looked back to see the zombie holding onto her leg. It wanted to bite her.
Nora yelled and took her hand off Mabel. However, Mabel was still quick enough to kick her shoe off, thereby escaping once again.
“Aiish! Another close call. Let’s go” Mabel said, holding Nora’s hand again.
“You weren’t bitten,, or scratched, right?” Nora asked, quavering. She slowly took her hand off Mabel.
“Nora?” Mabel muttered.
Suddenly, the zombie jumped on Mabel.
Nora yelled aloud. The zombie held Mabel and pulled her down.
“Nora!! Help!!” Mabel yelled, stretching her hand forth.
Nora was shaking. She was afraid. She looked at the back and saw more zombies coming.
Nora was crying now. She shook her head and slowly took few steps back.
“Nora, Please…Don’t go! Save me!!” Mabel screamed, trying to push the zombie face from getting closer to her.
It was trying to bite her.
“You brou-ght this upon yourself, Mabel” Nora cried out and ran off.
Mabel yelled, but shut up after she felt the zombie bi-ting her left cheek.
Some zombies later were around her, bi-ting her arms and stomach too.
