They all turned around to stare at Diego in surprise. “I’m sorry I didn’t get that”. Daniel said wanting Diego to repeat himself.
“It’s a good decision, so Alvin we have no reason to absent himself”. Diego tried to explain to them.
“Yeah I get it, since Diego’s wants to go we should go, I mean his the reason for the hangout at the first place”. Gab supported.
“Yeah Gab is right, we could go other places before 2, it will be fun tho and at the end we’ll hit the club and get drunk”. Caleb said with a big smile on his face.
” I don’t think that’s a nice idea”. Daniel opposed.
“Common man, since Diego wants to go it’s cool anyways”. Micheal said and they all finally concluded that everyone is going.
After the long day Daniel returned home feeling tired. “Good evening mom”. He greeted the pretty woman who was sitting on the couch trying to rap up a gift in her hands.
“Daniel tomorrow is Aunt Linda’s wedding, hope you haven’t thrown away the suite I bought for you?”. She asked cutting away the extras from the fancy gift paper.
“Uhmm, mom about that”. He said scratching his ne-ck.
“What’s it? Daniel I’m not taking any excuses from you this time, even your Dad took a day off work so he could attend so don’t tell me shit”. She half yelled at him.
“Danny!…”. His little sister ran up to him showing off her missing teeth.
“Oh my dear princess, how’re doing?”. He asked as he squ-atted to carry her.
“I’m fine”. She said placing her nose on his jacket as she inhaled from it.
“What are you doing?”. Daniel asked confused by his little sister’s action.
“You smell horrible”. She said causing Daniel to frown and also attra-cting their moms attention.
“Really how?”. Daniel asked inhaling his body.
“You smell like Williams”. She said causing her mom and Daniel to break out in laughter.
“I guess you’re just coming from their house”. She said frowning as she mentioned Williams.
“So you mean Williams’s house smells horrible?”. Daniel questioned trying to und-erstand his talkative sister.
“Yes!”. She bodily responded.
“How? I don’t think their house smells horrible”. Daniel questioned her.
“Because Williams is horrible and disrespectful, he insults, he fights with me all the time and he never agrees that I’m senior to him, he always claims we’re of the same age, that’s so annoying”. She narrated.
“He even sometimes tell’s me that I’m short, he named me shorty that’s so annoying”. She added with anger on her face.
“Wow, really?”. Daniel asked and she immediately nodded.
“Don’t you worry I’ll speak to him and I’ll make sure he never disrespects you again”. Daniel a-ssured dropping her back on the floor.
“Run along now”. He urged her. “Okay but promise you’ll come to my room and see the beautiful dress mom got for me”. Belinda asked staring at Daniel who nodded and with that she ran up the stairs.
Daniel watched her climb the stairs, he knew that she never liked Liam because they always fight, but he didn’t know she hated him this much.
“By the way how’s that little boy?”. His mom asked looking worried.
Daniel took a seat on one of the couch before answering. “His fine but not no longer loud as before, I guess the little boy also felt his father’s death”. Daniel narrated making his mom’s eyes water.
She couldn’t imagine her fate if that kind of thing happened to her husband, she felt really sorry for them.
“Daniel I stopped your Dad from taking up the case do you think that it was wrong of me, I was just scared that something might also happen to him, that someone might also try to harm him”. She said crying seriously.
“At least Diego’s mom has something doing but I’ve nothing, I’m just home all day, I don’t know what will be our fate without your dad”. She added in her tears.
” Mom calm down, nothing is going to happen to Dad, Mr Dubae was a friend of his and I guess that’s the best he can do for him right now, justice!”. He consoled rubb-ing her hair.
Daniel took his mom to her room when she stopped crying, he urged her to rest before leaving the room. Walking into his own room he found his little sister on his bed playing with his books, not just his books his diary.
“Hey! Belinda are you okay? Give that to me”. He yelled snatching the book from her.
“Danny who’s Belinda?”. She asked with a raised brow but got no response from Daniel who was trying to arrange the things she scattered.
“Danny I thought I was the only Belinda you loved?”. She continued.
“What about Lily? you don’t like her anymore?”. She questioned standing on the bed.
“Belinda get down from my bed and get out”. He dangerously shouted at the little girl, he was obviously getting angry for no good reason.
She continued sitting there with tears gathered in her eyes. Daniel looked at her and he gave up he knew how stubborn she was, she wasn’t going to leave until she gets her answer.
“Okay I’m sorry, Belinda was my friend but not anymore, so you’ve to calm down you’re still the only Belinda I love”. He said faking a smile.
“So you can leave now”. He said impatiently waiting for her to leave.
“Oh okay, see you at dinner then”. She said running away.
“Phew”. Daniel laid on his bed immediately she left, the thought of Belinda came running throu-ghhis mind, he was angry at her but de-ep down he was punishing himself and he knew it, he missed her so much, but she has never called to say sorry he wasn’t sure if he was ready to meet her tomorrow.
He placed his head on his pillow in thoughts. “I miss you Belinda”. He muttered.
? Morning ?
“Good morning Mom, morning Dad”. Belinda greeted rushing down the stairs.
“It’s Saturday, where are you heading this early?”. Her mom questioned.
“I’m heading to a friend’s party”. Belinda replied sitting on one of the chairs.
“You’re heading to a friend’s party this early, dressed like this?”. Her dad asked looking at her from head to toe.
“Yes dad, it’s like a picnic and I’ll first head to her place and help he prepare food and later dress up in her place before heading to the venue”. Belinda explained while her mom nodded und-erstanding her.
“Which of your friend Alicia?”. Her mom questioned. Belinda didn’t give her any response until she was done drinking the tea to the very last drop.
“No mom, it’s Bella”. Belinda said pecking her mom and immediately walked away.
She really wanted to leave quickly, now that Andrea was still asleep because if Andrea wakes up and catches her with her stuff she’s dead. She had stolen Andrea’s expensive dress, she had wore it to Ashley’s birthday and she was really looking cute so Belinda decided to steal it.

Alicia rolled on her bed as her ringing tone continued disturbing her jolly sleep. With anger she picked up the phone and checked the caller. “Why’s this bastard disturbing me”. She yelled.
“Hello sleeping beauty”. Sam said immediately she answered the phone.
“What do you want? Why did you call me by this time”. Alicia couldn’t help but yell.
“Calm down, I only want to hear from my princess”. Sam said pissing Alicia off the more.
“You better say what you have to say quickly”. Alicia rudely said.
“Okay, I was invited to Bella’s birthday party today and I know you’re going to be there so I just called to inform you to look your best for me and…”…
“Fool!”. Alicia Interrupted before hanging up.
“Oh my God!”. Alicia yelled scattering her hair all over her face. She got up to begin her preparation for Bella’s party, she began to think twice on whether to wear the cloth she bought because of that stupid Sam.

“Belinda I don’t know, i was trying to tell my mom that it was too much but she didn’t listen”. Bella complained staring at the food.
I think your mom as done well, you don’t know if you’ll have more people to feed than expected”. Belinda tried to console.
“Rubbish”. Bella said rubb-ing herself on the floor.
“I thought Alicia was also going to come”. Bella said sitting up on the floor.
“I don’t know why she isn’t here but chatting will not help us let’s get to work”. Belinda said as she began parking the different dishes Bella’s mom has prepared.
“This is just useless, I’ve told you, no one except for this pretty girl will show up today , so bring the food over here let’s munch”. Bella’s younger brother who was two years younger than her ranted.
He sat on the couch watching the girls as they tried to put things together, it pained him that his mom always favours Bella more than him.
“You better shut your smelling and disgusting mouth”. Bella cursed.
“You know I hate the fact that mom allowed you to take the final exams ahead of your cla-ssmate and I pray you fail”. He said eating biscuits and chewing loudly.
“You don’t always have to be open with your bitterness”. Bella said rolling her eyes.
“I promise you, this day is going to be the worst day of your life”. He said releasing a chuckle.
“Fool”. Bella cursed throwing a sandwich straight at him.
“Ouch… Why don’t you throw the cakes at me “. He smir-ked.
“Idiot”. Bella cursed with anger eating he up .
Belinda just continued parking up as both siblings fought with each other.
