Alicia was so nervous because of the way Diego and his friends were staring at her, she felt like peeing on her pa-nts.
“No..no you didn’t ask, but I just decided to bring you a cu-p of coffee”. Alicia spoke trying very much to be brave.
Diego stared at for a while before stretching his hands out, Alicia quickly handed the coffee to him.
“Thanks”. He said as he turned around and left with his friends.
Alicia stood there as they all walked away, a quick smile escaped her li-ps.
“At least he didn’t reject it, he accepted it and that’s a progress, Martha was right”. Alicia said to herself.
“Hey, hey what do you think you’re doing?”. Bella asked running up to her.
“What?”. Alicia asked obviously surprised to see her.
“Why did you give that coffee to Diego?”. Bella asked urging her to speak quickly.
“Are you stalking me?”. Alicia questioned with a raised brow.
“No, why would I stalk you, I just happened to see you giving Diego the coffee, so I just decided to ask”. Bella responded.
“That’s none of your business”. Alicia fired.
“Hmmm, I just hope you know what you’re doing”. Bella said in concerned.
“Of course, thanks for your concern”. Alicia said rolling her eyes.
“Well let’s head to Belinda, she on the other side of the field”. Bella said changing the topic.
“Oh I’m so sorry Bella, but my roommate are waiting at that edge, we’ve something to catch up with, bye”. Alicia explained while she waved Bella and then left.
“What’s her problem? She prefers to hangout with other people”. Bella said staring at her in surprise.

“Diego I think you should make things up with Alvin”. Caleb suggested.
“That’s true, I don’t like the fact that Alvin no longer do things together with us”.Gab added.
“I didn’t ask him to leave, did I ?”. Diego questioned raising his shoulders..
“They will surely make up, let just give them time”. Michael said wanting them to end the topic.
Diego halted as he frowned his brows staring at Belinda and a guy. She was sitting and chit chatting the guy who was smiling at her.
“Everyone into the hall”. They heard the loud voice after the bell.
“Belinda”. Michael didn’t know when he called out like a whispered, the rest of them turned around to stare at her and the guy.
“Belinda common let’s quickly go get a seat”. Bella half yelled running up to Belinda.
“Okay, I’ll talk to you later”. Belinda said waving at the guy before walking away.
Belinda and Bella turned around and saw the guys standing close to them.
“Good morning”. She greeted about to walk away.
“Hey”. Diego called causing Belinda to halt her step.
“Oh why’s he calling me”. Belinda thought as she turned around to answer him.
“Yes?”. She answered.
“Do you care for a coffee?”. Diego asked raising the cu-p of coffee to her view.
Belinda stared at him feeling really surprised, why is Diego giving her coffee? The question kept running throu-ghher head.
After staring at him for a while she collected the coffee from him just to kill the tension.
“Thanks”. Belinda thanked collecting the coffee.
“Make sure to tell me if you experience any pain in your body after drinking it”. Diego said smiling at her.
“See you later Bel”. Caleb waved before walking away with the others.
“Okay byee”. She waved back.
“Let’s go”. Bella yelled before pulling Belinda as they both ran towards the hall.
Getting to the hall they both look for a seat close to the front and sat. Belinda was about to take a sip from the coffee before she heard Bella’s voice.
“Don’t drink that”. She yelled.
“Why??”. Belinda asked frowning her brows.
“You won’t believe it if I tell you”. Bella said ever ready to drop the gist.
“Believe what?”. The confused Belinda asked.
“Do you believe that Alicia gave Diego that coffee”. Bella said turning to face Belinda properly.
“Really?”. She asked looking at the cu-p of coffee.
“Yes I saw with it my own eyes, I think she wants to make her feeling known to Diego”. Bella added causing Belinda to go speechless.
“Let me have a taste”. Bella said taking the coffee from Belinda and drank it immediately.
“Oh here comes Alicia”. Belinda said as the both of them raised their hands to signal her.
“Over here”. Belinda yelled.
“I guess she has made new friends”. Bella said as they both watched her stroll towards them with the other two girls.
“Hey”. Alicia greeted sitting next to Belinda.
“Wa-ssup with you, having a good time?”. Belinda asked.
“Yeah, I’m cool and you?”. Alicia questioned smiling at her.
“I’m good, uhmm Hi”. Belinda greeted the other two girls sitting beside Alicia.
“Hey”. They greeted back.
“Uhmm pardon my manners, Belinda meet my roommate Martha and Queen, Martha and Queen this is my best friend Belinda”. Alicia introduced.
“Hi”. Bella waved before sipping from the drink again.
“What?”. Bella asked when Martha kept staring at her without taking her eyes off, it was obvious that she didn’t like them.
“Oh I’m sorry I was just staring at your coffee, where did you get it?”. The Martha girl asked.
“You want some? I bought it”. Bella rudely replied.
“Alicia you lied to us”. Martha half yelled.
“What are you saying?”. Alicia asked in confusion.
“You told us that you gave the coffee to the guy you liked, so what’s it doing with her?”. Martha questioned.
Bella and Belinda stared at each other with wide eyes. “How did she know?”. Bella whispered.
“How will I know”. Belinda whispered back.

“What are you saying? I already gave it to him”. Alicia said looking at the girl in confusion.
“Then why those she have it?”. Martha questioned staring at Alicia in displease.
“Calm down bae, how are you sure it’s the same coffee”. Queen asked wondering why she was so confident that, that was the coffee.
“I’m very sure Queen, my mom’s uses the reborn to tie around her coffee, that’s why I used it for her it’s a special reborn, that’s what I and my sister calls it”. Martha explained, while Bella was just busy staring at her as if she has gone mad.
“Yes? And so, is it only your mom that ties reborn in this whole wide world, I can tie them too”. Bella fired.
“Oh just save it, my mom made to reborn , can’t you see her name is sketched on it *Ella*”. Martha fired back.
After hearing that Martha’s mom made those reborn Bella and Belinda turned speechless.
“Bella where did you get that coffee from?”. Alicia questioned Bella.
“Uhmm”. Bella scratched her back ne-ck before pa-ssing the coffee to Belinda.
“It’s not mine, I took it from her”. Bella said giving Belinda a pleading eye.
“I don’t un-derstand what’s going on”. Alicia said staring at the both of them.
“Alicia it’s not what you think”. Belinda calmly said, trying to calm Alicia down.
“Then what’s going on, why do you have the coffee?”. Alicia questioned.
“I kinda crossed part with Diego and he gave me this coffee”. Belinda confessed because she wasn’t a good a liar.
Alicia and her roommate said nothing else they both just kept staring at Bella and Belinda.
“Alicia you don’t have to get angry I’m sorry, I know how you feel but it’s nothing trust me”. Belinda apologized hoping that Alicia will un-derstand and change the awkward atmosphere.
“Sorry about what? I don’t un-derstand”. Alicia yelled.
“I don’t un-derstand what you have with Diego”. Alicia poured out not able to hide her anger.
“Alicia please don’t think that way”. Belinda pleaded, still trying to apologise.
“Alicia I think we will go sit somewhere else, I don’t like the air around here”. Martha said before standing up and leaving with Queen.
“Alicia don’t be upset”. Belinda added.
“It’s fine, there’s no problem let me just go sit with them”. Alicia said forcing out a smile on her face.
“Oh God Belinda I’m so sorry”. Bella apologized immediately Alicia walked away.
“I just pray she don’t get angry”. Belinda said tiredly resting on the chair.
” Nope, don’t worry she’ll be fine”. Bella a-ssured ru-bbing Belinda’s back.
“Okay, all attention this way please”. A man in his mid thirties spoke, standing at the front of the crowd holding a mic.
Students who were discussing stopped discussing and focused on the man.
“Students hope you all know that you’re not just here to spend few days but to expand your knowledge”. He continued.
“Yes sir”. The crowd chorused.
“Those schools that are prepared for their presentation better start getting ready now, because we’re kicking off in less than an hour”. He announced.
“Those schools for singing will start first, then chorography, so the representative of tiwach high school please get ready”. He finally said before leaving the stage.

“This camping is getting boring”. Gab said staring away from the singers on stage.
“Oh come on man, this ladies are so cute”. Michael said smiling crazily.
“Be careful man”. Caleb said with his eyes on the stage.
They all turned to him wondering what he meant by that.
“Because the one on yellow is mine”. He added causing them to laugh.
“Foolish spoilt brat”. Gab cursed.
“I don’t really think she’s cute, why don’t you choose the one red”. Diego suggested, causing them to burst into another round of laughter.
“Crazy boy”. Michael cursed in his laughter.
“Diego”. They heard a voice behind them and turned around and found teacher Lakid standing behind them.
“Good morning sir”. They all greeted.
“Yeah morning, Mr Dubae please follow me and collect your costume”. Mr Lakid said more like a whisper.
“Okay man see you later”. Michael said as Diego stood up and then left with my Lakid.
Getting to the male dressing room Diego found Daniel busy getting all dressed up.
“Hey man, where have you been all this while”. Diego asked walking up to him.
“Oh wa-ssup Diego, I was with Alvin”. Daniel responded.
“Hmmm interesting, so you’re choosing that Alvin over us”. Diego said taking out the costume out of the bag he was holding.
“Diego you and Alvin really need to stop this nonsense, what’s the meaning of all this?”. Daniel responded, really pissed.
“Alvin is bitting more than he can chew, better warn him”. Diego said pa-ssing him a quick smile before walking in to get dressed.
“Seriously?”. Daniel yelled turning to face Diego

“Belinda don’t be scared you can do this”. Bella encourage Belinda who was sitting at the front of the dressing mirror.
“Why will I not be scared, I haven’t rehearsed for so many days because of that Daisy girl and you expect everything to be fine, impossible”. Belinda half yelled.
“Just forget about all that and look at how beautiful you look”. Bella said pointing to her reflection on the mirror.
“Belinda aren’t you guys done, come out”. Mr Lakid said rushing his words. Bella and Belinda immediately stood up and left the dressing room.
“Prinnary High will soon be done, after their presentation is ours”. Mr Lakid narrated as they walked to the back stage.
Diego who was already standing at the back stage with his hands inside his pocket as he stared at Belinda and her friend who was walking towards his direction.
“Hey Belinda”. One of the teachers called her and she immediately halted her steps.
“Yes ma’am”. Came her polite response.
“I hope you read the script last night”. She asked and Belinda nodded yes.
“Please read it throu-ghagain, nothing must go wrong”. She added while Belinda just nodded before taking the script out and started reading again.
“Hey”. Diego called immediately she was about to walk pa-ss him.
“What?”. She rudely responded not ready to joke with him anymore.
“How was the coffee?”. Diego asked staring at her from head to toe trying to start a conversation with her.
“Awful, very awful”. Belinda replied half yelling.
“Hmm i see, the girl that gave me that coffee needs a punishment”? He said making a serious face.
“That wasn’t what I meant”. Belinda hurriedly said before he goes and make a case out of nothing.
“Then what did you mean”. Diego questioned.
“Nothing, I meant that it was okay”. “. She said about to walk away but Diego gripped her by the wrist pausing her movement.
“Let go of me Diego, what’s your problem”. Belinda whispered trying not to call people’s attention.
“You’re really looking pretty today”. He commented with a smile forming on his face while he was still holding her wrist.
“Let go”. Belinda said still struggling to get free from Diego’s grip.
“Why?”. He whispered back staring into her eyes.
“I really feel like repeating what happened last night”. He whispered into her ears.
“Diego please stop people are staring”. Belinda pleaded feeling really embarra-ssed.
“Let them stare”. He whispered with his li-p really close to her ears.
Belinda couldn’t explain her embarra-ssment she felt when she saw Daniel and Megien also staring at the both of them.
“Diego let go please”. She begged.
“No I won’t”. He responded. she just wished the ground could open and swallow her.
Almost immediately Diego’s phone rang out loud, he placed his hand inside his pocket and brou-ght out his phone, checking the ID he saw it was his mom.
He stared at Belinda for a while before letting her go, she immediately ran far from him, she couldn’t explain her happiness.
“je-rk”. She cursed inwardly
?”Hello pretty lady”. Diego said immediately he answered the phone.
?”Die.. Diego”. She called obviously in tears.
?”Mom! What’s the problem?”. He asked frowning.
?”It’s.. it’s your dad”. She said in more tears.
?”What happened?”. He questioned urging her to speak quickly.
?”Your dad was shot”. She said crying really had this time.
?”What??”. He yelled with a de-eper frown on his face.
