Darrell is such a nice guy but I think my parent won’t start thinking there is something inti-mate between us because this the first and only guy they have know with me.

“I was going in my car when I saw a beautiful damsel by the roadside.
I move back a little and stare at her big and cuve b-utt.
I lic-k my li-ps seductively. I have caught a big fish just like the one that swallow Jonah in the bible.
I whine down the car screen. “Hi pretty” I greet with a R0m-ntic smile.
“Hi dude” she replied waving her hand.
“Do you nee-d a lift” I asked with a promiscuous look.
“yeah I won’t mind if you give me a lift. I will really appreciate it” she said and smile at me.
“oh, no nee-d to appreciate you are more than that you should come and sit in the front seat” I said and she came into the car.
I zoom off feeling like a champion. I was thinking of how to talk to her because she’s seems ha-rd to be friends with. she’s not like some girls I do fli-rt with.
After five minute of driving I wanted to talk to her. Has I was about talking she interrupt me.
“I will be dropping here. thanks so much” she said before I could say anything.
“oh you live around here” I asked.
“why are you asking” she replied operating her phone.
“I just want to know. I think you are beautiful and people like you nee-d to be appreciated” I said.
“no nee-d for that and thanks for the ride I really appreciate it. see that’s my boyfriend waiting for me” she said and open the car door.
“can I have you phone number atleast we can be friend” I said.
“oh sorry I don’t give my number to strangers and precise am not the type of person you think I am hmmm so try to look well next time and ones again thanks for the ride” she said and went out then barged my car door.
I was looking at her throu-ghthe car screen has she walk to her the guy she call her boyfriend and hu-g him ti-ghtly then ki-ss him.
what get me angry most is that her so call boyfriend is not even handsome at all. they walked Into the mall.
what ru-bbish so I picked up that fool just to come and drop her where her boyfriend is.

I used my palm to ru-b my face to check my smooth and handsome or did my handsome face vanished.
When I couldn’t get the right answer I nee-d.
I pick up my phone and use the screen to check my face.
Is still me the handsome br@ndy. so why did that girl ignore me for that drumstick.
That’s all that was going in my head. well is normal some girls are like this. I pull out my gear and drove off.
But what just happened didn’t want to get off my fuc-king head so I turn on the music and put it on a high volume.

The second day in the morning.
Ainsley POV
The rain was raining heavily.
some part of our house are lic-king badly.
this what we face whenever rain fell which is really getting me worried.
I spent already spent my salary on all the expenses.
I only have little savings I think I will have to used that to amend the lic-king area or should I asked my boss if he will give me half of my salary.
will he give me if I asked him no there’s no nee-d to ask him for that I will used my little saving and beg the person that we amend it that I will balance he by month ending.
I couldn’t even get ready for work.
I will have to miss work today because of this.
“Hero why are you disturb”Jemima said.
“is nothing bodyguard just thinking of how to get this fixed” I replied.
“you shouldn’t worry we are used to this so you don’t nee-d to bother” she said.
“Yes hero she’s right we will fixed this together so you don’t nee-d to bother yourself” Jemmy said.
“But you guys should be in school by now but you couldn’t because of this” I said with so much worries filled in my voice.
“We are going to be okay don’t worry if we didn’t go today we will go tomorrow” Jemima said.
“but what of the lectures you guys will miss” I said.
“Don’t worry about the lectures. we will meet our friends to patch things up” Jemmy said.
I know they never want to see me unhappily so I have to play along with them to make them happy.
so will you come to the sitting room now” they said in chorused.
“Yes but you guys should give me some minute let me call the office that I won’t be coming today” I said.
“okay we are going to wait for you” Jemima said.
my siblings are the best siblings I got.
they are very strong and always try to be happy but I as the elder of them I nee-ds to make them happy more but can’t stop thinking about how to get my family out of this trash so they will start living a good life.
“Hero see this I think you can see it properly” Jemmy said and point to the place lic-king.
“Yes I can see it, why do you ask?” I asked.
“with this am sure God won’t abandon us. I know he is seeing our pain everytime rain fells so he won’t live us to die in this he will surely make a way out of no way” Jemmy said.
“Yes aunty remember the words of God says we should have faith in God because who so ever have Faith in him shall be granted what they want” Jemima said.
Apart from my siblings being brilliant and intelligent they are also very good in the words of God.
With their words I feel like a have a complete family.
with their little words my worries disappear but I can never stop thinking and working towards how the makes my family get out of this life they found has been comfortable but which is not.
I pick up my phone and pas-sed a call across to the office that I won’t be coming to the office.
after the call. a call came to my phone.
it’s Darrell I pick up the call.
“hi Darrell” I said.
“hello pretty am right in front of you house. am here to take you and your siblings” he said.
“To where?” I asked has I remember he said he wanna take us out today but I was wondering if he will come to take us early this morning.
“I came to take them to school and also drop you at work” he replied from the other side of the call.
“oh shit Darrell will surely find out about our lic-king house. I nee-d to find an excuse so he will go back” I thought to myself.

Aishley POV
“oh shit Darrell will surely find out about our lic-king house. I nee-d to find an excuse so he will go back” I thought to myself.
I nee-d to find an excuse to make him go back. I was about to lie to him that my siblings are already gone to school when my little kids shouted.
“Is that uncle Darrell please tell him we missed him he’s such a sweetheart” they said in chorus.
I try to wink at them just to keep them shut but it was too late has they shouted and I knew Darrell will have hear them.
“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Darrell asked from the other end of the said call.
“Darrell the rain is heavy so we are taking a break today. neither me nor my siblings is going out so just leave to your working place” I said.
“Why” he asked.
“that’s our decision we decided to stay home today.
I got another call sorry I gat to go make sure you leave soon before the whole place with be filled with water and you won’t be able to drive your car from this area” I said and hang the call before he could say anything.
I think he should leave since the rain is heavy and he might be stuck in here.
well you guys will be thinking why I didn’t tell him that.
that’s because am not the type that disturb other with my problem and emotions.
I might feel disturb and really nee-d help but I will rather stay mute instead of speaking that’s was the ideal I grew up with.
I don’t like people piting me because some do that just to show they are the best but they are really making jest of you at your back.
I believe in my handwork cause I know it can never deceive me.

“Mrs Theresa please we do really nee-d your help” Mr Addie said to the popular and wicked wife of a richman where he works as the gatekeeper and Mrs Addie works as a maid.
“Why do you nee-d my help and what for” she replied placing her leg on the small table Infront of her and adjust herself properly has one of the maid bend to mas-sage her legs.
“I nee-d money to pay my daughter school fees” Mr Addie said.
Ainsley was actually 12years back then she just finished her junior secondary school year and she’s is going to senior secondary school.
her siblings where only 4years then.
her parent nee-d money to get her new uniform and so many things for her education and they decided to asked the woman since her husband has been away from home for month.
but she turned them down by trying to used Ainsley father for her own selfish interest but she disgrace him since he refused to do what he asked him to.
that’s how they quit the job without getting a dine out of the money the woman owe them.
“I should be blamed for this I am a useless man I can’t even provide for my family.
I should have work ha-rd when I am young but I believe that my parent has everything and use my life fli-rting arounds with girls” Mr Addie said angrily and hit his hand ha-rd on the wall.
“Eddie stop doing this, stop doing this to yourself is our fault not yours and we nee-d to face this together.
so let try our possible best to train our children up in the right way instead of getting angry at yourself” Alvin Eddie wife which is Mrs Addie said trying calm his husband down.
it’s true Eddie is right parent are sometime part of there children future. let me tell you little about Addie Lionel, Addie Eddie father.
he was a very popular man who makes money in anyway he could with dirty or clean job but this was never known to many people they think he’s a pure person.
him and is wife where never a good parent and didn’t train there children in the proper way but when Nemesis will caught up with Mr Addie and his wife their dirty secret exp-osed and government took over their property and was sentenced to years imprisonment.
Alvin was Eddie girlfriend back then in school.
Eddie is a fli-rt but respect and love Alvin so much.
Alvin is a scholarship student but lost focus due to the friend she moved with.
she droppout after it was announced she’s pregnant in the school hospital.
but due to the love Eddie have for her they both live school since he was only struggling to pay his fees.
he leaves his elder brother in the town and moved to another town with Alvin.
that’s how they start living a ha-rd and uncomfortable life and are really trying ha-rd to give their children the best.
“Am useless that’s just the definition of me” Eddie said.
Alvin try her best to calm him down.
But when saying all this. They thought Ainsley have slept but no she heard everything they where say.
she study ha-rd and also go to do delivery job and home services after school without her parent knowledge and with times she was able to gather money because a man she went to deliver to see her has a discipline and ha-rd-working girl.
The man gave her money with that she was able to support her parent in her schooling.
She gave all the money she makes to her parent.
when they asked her how she get it she explained to them and that makes them more proud of her.
that’s why Ainsley hate asking for help she believes she can do things on her own because she don’t want too many people attached to her suffering and personal life.
Back to the present.
Ainsley POV
I went to the sitting room with my siblings thinking Darrell gas gone but I met him in the sitting room w£t.
“Darrell what are you still doing her” I asked.
but he all his focus were on the lic-king area which we put bucket. so the water can be dropping into it.
“uncle why are you staring at the roof like that?” Jemima asked.
“Ainsley for how long has this been happening he managed to speak but he’s voice where not clear enough.
“I very long time ago but hero has amend it before but the roof seems to be stubborn” Jemmy said.
“Darrell you shouldn’t worry about that I will get it fixed. you are w£t now I don’t know why you are so stubborn after I asked you to leave” I said.
“Don’t tell me this the reason you don’t want me to come inside” Darrell asked.
“You should leave that aside you nee-d to change your wears is really w£t I said.
“I know you don’t wanna tell me about this but atleast you should have considered me has a friend and tell me about this” Darrell said.
I don’t f*¢king nee-d his help I just want to make sure he didn’t want to help me.
“What are you going to do even if I tell you. to me it doesn’t make any difference so leave this.
Is my personal life so don’t involve yourself in it. get it?” I asked in and unrespectful way to get him angry.
but I don’t think what I said move him a bit.
