It’s ba-rely been 24 hours since she turned jimi down and the whole world is literally attacking her everywhere.
She can’t even scroll throu-ghsocial media the humiliating video is everywhere and to top it all everyone was badmouthing her
Throwing shady comments at her, cursing her and even going as far as bombarding her DM with lots of horrible bullying words and articles,she doesn’t even know how they manage to find her social media handle
Is like everyone is on her case she had to turn off her notifications, they were mentioning everyone, dragging her
Even her cousin has called, stuffs on the internet spread like wildfire and it has been exhausting dealing with this nonsense all day
She tried to take her mind off it but nothing was working at a point she just had to start cleaning every corner of the house,she dust and clean until it was sp-otless yet she was still restless
After a good house scru-b she was applying nail polish when the door bell rings
She sighed frustratedly.
It’s definitely Marty coming to drain her again
She wanted to just ignore the doorbell but then Marty would kill her if she doesn’t answer
She opened the door and it was jimi Benson.

Abby rushed out with her project

Diana was fuming with anger

“Have a nice life Jimi.” She slammed the door in his face and crashed behind the door letting out a wave of breath she has been holding back for too long

“Baby……” Diana tries to cajole her but she walked away and Diana couldn’t believe how this is turning out
She tried to convince herself that this is only temporary
Soon everyone will forget all about it , in a few days no one would remember the whole incident and it would be old news to blog
No one will be so bothered about
As soon as Abby’s school vacate they’re going to Benin to spend the holidays, this is a perfect opportunity to escape from all this
She went to her fridge and down an entire bottle of cold water to help stop her itchy throat and hurdled breathing.
Jimi wasn’t sure what next.
Diana is being so difficult and unyielding, fine he has always known her to be very stubborn and defensive but this is so different.
She’s obviously attacking him for a reason but she won’t tell and the more she dabbles around it , jimi realized it might even be de-eper than he can imagine
So he started doing some diggings on his own.
The next day he drove back there, around the time abby got back from school not long after Abby went inside diana hurried out of the house
That’s strange because she never leaves abby Alone in the house.
Out of curiosity Jimi went inside to check up on abby and see what’s going on
He knocked on the door and abby opened looking really tired and sick, she wasn’t her usual cheerful self when she hu-gged him

She laid back on the couch and covered herself with a blanket, she was feeling too weak to talk so Jimi just stayed with her on the couch
He noticed a picture frame on the table and picked it up, it was a younger Diana and another lady smiling broadly at the camera
Jimi took another look at the picture and noticed their t-shirts saying sister for life
He can’t remember Diana mentioning a sibling but the truth is she ba-rely talks about herself and for some reason he left it that way and didn’t dig into it
He glared at the picture and for some reason the another person’s face keeps popping in his head she look so familiar but he can’t recall where
Abby was already snoozing off on his lap so he couldn’t stand up, diana is going to come back and find him here
While trying to figure out who Diana’s sister is and why she looked so familiar
Diana returned from the pharmacy and the moment she noticed the door was unlocked she freaked out only to find Jimi sitting on her couch with abby sleeping on his lap-s
She let the drugs sli-p from her hands and placed her hand on her forehead

“Abby opened the door for me and before you freak out I had no idea where you were so I couldn’t leave her alone especially when she’s sick”

He quickly put the picture in his back covering it with his jersey
“I’ll go now. ” He turned to leave then stop
“Can I call you later to see how Abby’s faring”
“That won’t be necessary”
“It’s either that or I come ban-ging your door to see her”

Diana reluctantly agreed so he can just get out of her breathing space

She shut the door after him.
Saying to herself that he won’t even realize when they will leave . He can continue to stalk them in his dreams

The one person jimi could think of to figure shit out was Bj .
His friend has a very authentic memory if he had met this mysterious sister of diana before . Bj is the right person to ask unless he wasn’t there at that moment but if he did meet her for sure he’ll remember
So Jimi drove straight to his club and head to his office where he was wrapping up with his female companion
“Shit jimi! Why didn’t you tell me you’re coming”
“I didn’t think it was necessary. Am I interrupting something” the girl was trying to pull back down her dress
