“who are you and where’s Samantha?” I yelled Into the phone and my face mask almost fell off, other customers in the bar had their eyes fixed on me
‘who cares!’
“you will see her in number 4 savanna shopping complex in 30minutes time, come with the cops if you like” the guys voice c@m£ out from the phone and I felt glue to the sp©t
“do t hurt her!
am gonna be there in a jiffy” I almost yelled and the person laughed from the other end
“you seems to really love her like they said, but don’t be too impatient Mr humble lover!
come in 30 minutes time” I heard the caller say and I felt anger run down my spine
“who the hell are you?
and why did you kidnapped her huh?”I asked in anger picking up my keys from the bar counter
“am someone your imaginations can never get to” he said and hung up

I tried the number again but it wasn’t going

I was trying to track his line but he has hung up alre-ady
I ran towards my car and hop into it, driving towards the road
I nee-d to get there before 30minutes, who knows she might be dying or something
I speed up my car moving throu-gh the road
savanna shopping complex is an abandoned shopping mall in the heart of the town and it’s gonna take me 25minutes drive from here
I increa-sed my driving speed as I drove my car madly throu-gh the busy road
I broke so many traffic signs and Dodge so many cars and road marshals as I continue driving recklessly
I nee-d to get there on time
I nee-d to get hold of my baby once again, have missed her so much and to think she’s in the hands of some poverty stricken kidnappers, made me mad
but what s
could be her reasons for her being kidnapped?
surprisingly the caller hadn’t requested for a ransom!.
what could have been the reason for abducting her?
I had ridden for close to fifteen minutes when the car suddenly screeched and c@m£ to a st©p

I ignite the car engine again but the car refused to start

I yelled in anger, bu-mping my hands on the car stereo
what thefu-ck is going on?
I c@m£ down from the car in rage, leaving the car doors open
I raised the car bonnet up and tried checking what’s wrong with the car
geez!
I had no idea what’s wrong with it!!
I closed the bonnet and anger and paced about in anger
there’s no cab pas-sing by and it’s unsafe for me to move about outside without my guards, luckily for me I have a mask on
I felt numb for some minutes
what am I gonna do?
I rushed back to my car to get my phone, I nee-d to pu-ll a call across to my driver to s£nd me another car

why didn’t I thought of that ever since huh!
perhaps the car would have been here by now
I placed a call to my driver but it wasn’tfu-cking connecting
I was alre-ady going crazy with anger
what if something happens to her?
I hop back to the car and tried igniting thefu-cking engine, surprisingly it worked
“bastard!” I cussed and drove off in high speed leaving cloud of dust behind

I f0rç£d my heavy eyes open and tried sitting up on the be-d, my visions were blurry and I couldn’t see clearly
I closed my eyes and l@yback on the be-d

I opened my eyes again and I landed on a white celling
everything that happened rushed throu-gh my head and I f0rç£d myself to sit on the be-d
my eyes ran throu-gh the room and I found a drip fixed on my left hand
then a figure whose head was resting beside my be-d
“br@in” I called and he snap up his head at me
his eyes were red and sullen like he’s been crying
he looks really tired
“br@in!” I called again and he stood up and wra-p me up in an embr@ce

did he bring me here?
nothing happened to me?
oh! heavens!
have missed him so much,
how can I possibly stay away from him?
how can I possibly stay away from my own b©yfri£nd?
“Samantha!” he called and pe-cked myl-ips
“how are you feeling?
should I go call the doctor?

how did you end up there?” he asked and I gulp ha-rd
“your driver c@m£ to pick me up saying you had s£nt him…” I was still saying when he cut in
“that wasn’t my driver Samantha!
you got into a wrong car and I guess that’s how you got abducted” he said and I nodded explaining things to him
“the voice actually sounded like a lady and she told me to stay away from you” I said and he kept mute
“A lady said that to you?
who could she be?” he asked looking lost
“we shouldn’t be thinking about that br@in cause she told me she knows me just like the back of her palms” I said and he looked down on the floor
“do you have an idea what she looks like?” he asked looking Moody
“I didn’t get to see her br@in!
I was blindfolded”I said and he snivelled

don’t tell me he’s crying?

what’s wrong?” I asked trying to get a hold on him but couldn’t as a result of the drip which restricted me
“am sorry you had to go throu-gh this Samantha, am sorry you had to be treated this way cause of me, am sorry” he cried and I felt my eyes we-t

if it’s the price I had to pay for you ,I with gladly do”I said and he smiled
“thanks Samantha, you have always been the best” he said and I chuckled

“yes my love”
“promise you won’t say a word of this to grandma and molly!
I don’t want them to freak out” I said and he nodded
“I will, if it plea-ses you” he said and I smiled as he gave me a light k!ss
“lemme go get the doctor” he said and walked out

Samantha
it’s been over three weeks since the kidnap incidence yet Brian doesn’t wanna let me off his sight, he’s behaving more like a b©dyguard than of a b©yfri£nd
“so when are you gonna be visiting again?” I asked Janet as she picked up her purse which had been laying on the couch since she c@m£ in
“that question us suppose to be directed at you, when are you paying me visiting again, it’s been long you know” she said st©pping by the door
“yeah!
really would have come visiting but you know what’s restricting my movement” I said and she gave me an eye roll
“and what’s that?”she asked fondling with her hair
“the threat of course!
don’t tell me you’ve forgotten ?” I asked and she smiled
“it just nudge at me, what’s golden boy br@in doing about it?”she asked and I let out a de-ep sigh
“he’s working on it” I replied
“can’t believe my baby is gonna be staying home all day, if only I could l@ymy hands on that bit-ch, I pu-ll off her hair and s£nd countless kicks straight into her bu-tts ” she hollered and I cracked

the government gives them good pay for their services” I said and she frowned again
“I see no reason why your telling me this, you can go join them if you want to”she said and I chuckled
“c-mon babe just wait some minutes more,br@in will soon gonna be here”I coax getting a hold of her hands
“bye girlfriend my momma must be waiting and if I sit my as-s down here, she’s gonna lock me outside
she actually gave me a curfew” she said and I smiled
“grandma actually did that to me when we were much younger” I said and she laughed
“okay then,see you when next I visit and extend my greetings to molly when next she calls” Janet
said and walked out while I nodded ban-ging the door slowly
I turned back moving to the sitting room
br@ins suppose to be here, what’s keeping him?
I walked into the lift and walked out of it when it st©pped but I bu-mped into someone
“Granny”I called on seeing granny and her personal maid behind her, she looks dressed like she’s going out or something
“since when did start calling me that?” she asked furrowing her brows at me
“am sorry grandma, I guess am a little it excited” I said and she frowned
grandma doesn’t like it when molly and I call her ‘granny’
she said it sounded more like ‘nanny’
and that’s the reason why she doesn’t let any of us call her that
“I guess the excitement is all about br@in” she said and I chuckled
“grandma!” I called in between laughter and just then, we heard the door bell
“seems he’s here alre-ady” grandma said walking into the lift with her maid
“am going for my check up” she said and the lift closed before I could reply.
I ran off to my room change my clothes
I walked down the stairs when I was done when I was done changing my clothes and my eyes caught sight of him sitting one of the couch looking dashing as always
gosh!
he looks so cute in the sleeve shi-t he head wore, three bu-ttons were left un-bu-ttoned in his sleeve, ma-king his che-st slightly visible
he had a gold chain in and it gave him a pla-yboy look
his hair was dyed blue he had a light blue trou-ser and shi-t on,alongside the shoe he had on
geez!
he looks damn h0t and I suddenly felt we-t

he had earrings on his two ears and different br@nds of rings designed his f!ngerswhile his both hands held more phones than I could count
his pinkl-ips were we-t as he kept tucking them into his mouth at intervals
what’s 53x gonna look like with this guy?
am pretty sure he’s gonna make me scream out my lungs and that,am really not re-ady for!
“hey!” he called and stood up on sighting me
“br@in!” I called instead,running into his arms
“did you missed me?”he asked cudd-ling me up into his che-st
“yeah! I miss your cute face” I said and he chuckled
“am sorry I c@m£ late, there was a heavy traffic jam on my way” he said and I pu-ll-ed off the hvg
“apology accepted”I said pu-lling his arm along with him as I climbe-d the stairs heading towards the sitting room upstairs
we got in and I serve him a drink
“molly called this morning” I said watching him sip from is glas-s cu-p
“did she asked about me” he asked and I chuckled
“nope! she only asked after Kelvin, her best buddy” I said and he feign a frown

she prefer Kelvin to me” he asked ma-king me lie on the couch with my head on his th!ghs

I was only joking, she actually asked of you but she feel real sad getting to p@rt with her best buddy” I said band he chuckled

“can you help me in finding my late father’s murderer and my abductors? I asked and he kept silent for a while
“br@in” I called and he snap out of his thought
“yes I will if that will make you happy”he said and I smiled
“maybe you can refuse if you don’t want to, its just that I wanna know the people behind it”I said and he smiled.
“any thing that make’s you happy, is what make me happy its isn’t gonna be difficult my dad is a retired sheriff remember” he said and I smiled.
