#NATALIE
“Why ” I asked now curious
“Madam plea-se ” he begged
I just ignored him ,what the hell was going on in my house .
I walked in and the first thing to welcome me were a woman’s br@.
I just picked it up.
I didn’t want to go in but I just wanted to see .I just heard giggling in the spare room .
I walked in and he was ma-king love to her ..he looked at me and smiled.
I just closed the door .
I remember my mother’s words ” never sacrifice alot for a man ,he will never appreciate ”
I didn’t cry ,I just got in my car and I went to the nearest Church .
One man once said never forget your God in times of trouble and happiness .
I stayed in the car for 30 minutes . I got the courage and strength I walked inside the church and
it was empty .tears was alre-ady streaming down my face .
My sister favorite verse -Corinthians 7:1-40 “It is good for a man not to have S-xual relations with a woman. But because of the temptation to S-xual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own b©dy, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own b©dy, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. .
“What should I do ” I asked myself
I guess face reality .
I got into my car and took myself out ,today I didn’t want to go home .I thought my husband would call or text but nothing .
I love that man more than anything in this world but sometimes I just wanted someone to teach me how to live without him.
“You know you should put that food in your mouth not the glas-s of jui-ce ” he said
It was that guy who I met at the mall and art exhibition
“It’s like you are following me ” I said
“Why would I follow you ,I just bu-mped into you ” he said taking a seat
“Yeah whatever ” I said
“That attitude doesn’t suit you ” he laughed
“Can you leave ” I said
“Waiter ” he snapped his f!ngers.
“Yes sir ” the waiter
“Bring this lady a glas-s of wine ” he said
“No thank you ” I said
“Just bring , your best wine ” he said
“Okay sir ” he walked away
“Look I don’t know who you are or what you are , plea-se just leave me alone am married” I said
“You told me last time ,Am engaged ” he said
“Where is your fiancé ” I asked
“Where is your husband ” he asked
“Look ,just leave ” I said
“Am Dominic mbewe ” he said
He is telling me his name as if I have forgotten it ,I have been pla-ying it in my head ever since the exhibition day
“Am mrs mutale ” I said with a smile
“Thats not the name you told me ,anyway You are beautiful Mrs mutale ” he said
“Your wine madam ” the waiter said
“plea-se don’t say no ,this wine is amazing ” he said opening the bottle
“I don’t want drink” I said
“One glas-s won’t hurt” he said
Maybe he was right ,one glas-s won’t hurt .
He started talking and I started laughing .I don’t remember the last time I laughed like this ,so one glas-s turned into 3,4,5,6,7,8. When I woke up I was in a different be-d .my phone was on the table next to the be-d ,I checked if I have any missed calls but nothing ..I swear Kelvin was useless . My head was spinning I don’t know how many glas-ses of wine I had but it did me bad.
“Morning ” he walked in with a tray of food
“Morning ” I said
It’s been long since I have been treated like this .
“First take that tea to help you with the headache,i should have listened to you when you said you didn’t want drink ” he said
“I hope I didn’t embarras-s myself” I said
“No you didn’t ,you just cried when we were coming here ” I said
“Where is my car ” I asked
“It’s parked outside ” he said
“How did I change into this ” I asked
“You throw up all over your clothes” he said
“Oh my gosh” I held my head
“Don’t worry ,I won’t say anything” he laughed
“You saw me n-ked ” I said
“It’s no big deal ” he giggled
“I nee-d to go before your wife to be comes ” I said
“You are funny ,who told you am d@t!ng” he asked
“You told me remember” I said
“It’s because you were busy talking about your husband daah ” he said
I faked a smile.
“Hope you have called him ,so that he doesn’t worry about you ” he said
“Like he cares ” I said taking a sip of the tea .
“Let me get your clothes from the laundry ” he said
Woow he didn’t ask about what I just said .
“You can take a shower in there ” he said
I took a shower and changed into my clothes .
“Can I have your number ” he said
“Sure” I said getting his phone
“You should smile more often ” he said
I handed him the phone .
“Natalie ” he smiled
“Bye ” I said unlocking my door
He pe-cked my cheek .
I drove off .
I got home and found the bustard busy on his phone .
I pas-sed him and he didn’t even ask me .

#DOMINIC
Your problem is you don’t un-derstand what that word means. People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that’s holding you back, the person who brings you to your attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and sma-ck you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then they leave.
I don’t know if I will get over her ,yes she is married but the heart wants what it wants.
“Why does it smell like a female was here ” Maya asked
“What do you mean by that ?”
“Woman perfume”
“Hey sister ” I said with a smile
“You are seeing someone” she asked taking a seat
“No ” I said fixing my jacket
“Don’t you think it’s high time you let go of that ,that girl who was just loving your money ” she said
“She is married okay ” I said
“The girl who stole your money” she asked
“No big sis the girl I like ” I said
“Wait you are in love with a married woman ” she asked surprised
“Am late for work ” I said
“We nee-d to talk about this when you knock off ” she said
Our parents were killed and we were left with nothing ,we lived almost all our lives on the streets ,life was had for me and my elder sister ,when she was 18 she started selling her b©dy for us to survive ,I started stealing .
We were rescued by a woman (Mrs Stone) ,who helped us and she took us to school,the rest is history .
“I swear I hate Monday ” I said taking off my jacket
“You have one meeting remaining ” she said
“I know ” I said
“Okay sir ” she said walking out .
I dialled Natalie line ,I don’t know why I did that but I just wanted to hear her voice .
NATALIE -Hello
DOMINIC -You sound like you are slee-ping , Should I bring a glas-s of wine
She laughed
DOMINIC -She laughed
NATALIE- I was waiting for your call all day
DOMINIC -I have called you now
She giggled .
DOMINIC -Can we have dinner tonight
NATALIE -I don’t think it’s a good idea being seen with another man in public
DOMINIC -Why don’t I cook dinner for you than
NATALIE -That’s a good idea
DOMINIC -Okay it’s a d@t£ than
I hung up .
I went back to work .
I knocked off at 18 ,went straight home showered than started Cooking for Natasha .I called her and she said ,she was on her way .
I finished cooking and served the table .
Someone knocked and I knew it was Natasha .
“Hey ” I said opening the door
“Hello ,sorry I had to bring this cutie pie ,no one to leave her with ” she said
“It’s fine ,hey baby” I said
“Hello ” the baby girl said
We went inside and started eating after we went to the lounge and started chatting .
“So how come you are single ” she asked
“I never said I was single ” I said
“Oh my bad ” she said
“I will tell one day ” I said
I moved closer to her and k!$$£d her ,I thought she will push me away but she didn’t ,her daughter was fast asleep . that was nice causeww didn’t want the daughter thinking otherwise
Someone cleared their throat.
“Get a room plea-se ” Maya said
“Learn to knock ” I said getting up
Maya rolled her eyes
“Aint you going to introduce me ” Maya said
“My bad , sis meet Natalie , Natalie meet Maya” I said
“Hey Maya ” she said
“Wait I think I know you ” Maya said
“You do?” she asked
“Yes ,ain’t you Kelvin Mutale ‘s wife ” Maya said
“Yes I am ” she said
“I remember her from college ” Maya said
She smiled
“Small world “….
“Small world indeed ,We have to go now ” she said
“You are leaving because of me? ” Maya asked
“No it’s late and my daughter has school tomorrow ” she said
“Yeah ” I said
I esc-rted her to the car and she drove off .
“Are you okay though ?” …
“Am great ,thanks for dinner ” she said closing the car door .
I walked inside and Maya was having a glas-s of wine
“You just had to spoil her mood ” I asked
“Am surprised that girl can even k!ssanother man ” she said
“Meaning what Maya ” I asked
“She has only been with only one man ,and it’s her husband ,that girl sacrificed everything for her husband ,she dropped out of school just to help pay for her husband’s school ” she said
“Maya how did you know all that? ” I asked taking a seat
“Remember that guy I used to d@t£ back in college ” she asked
“Temwani” I asked
“Yes,they were good friend with Kelvin and Kelvin was cheating on her back than even now he is still cheating on her ,the idiot married her because he felt guilty ” she said
“Atlest if he felt guilty, he could have taken her back to school or something ,than hurting her like that ,if she was my woman I swear I would treat her right ” I said
“Anyway she ain’t your woman , she is a married woman stay away from her ” Maya said
“Am alre-ady in love with her ” …
“Dominic ,she loves her husband ,stay away from her “…
“I would say the same about those men you d@t£ ” I said
“For me it’s different ” she laughed
“How is that different ,cause some of those men are married ”
“For me its business ” … She said taking a sip
I rolled my eyes and focused my eyes on the tv
We chatted about random things and she left after wards .
The weeks that pas-sed I stayed away from Natalie ,it’s not like I wanted to but I just had to respect her ,my sister was right she is married.is it going to be Easy naah but there was nothing I would do about that.
“Sir you can’t go in ” my Personal as-sistant said
“Rose it’s okay let him in ” I said without looking at the person
I looked up and it was Mwenya my childhood friend.
“Dude ” I got up
“Look at you ,the last time I saw was at your parents funeral” he said
“Take a seat first ” I said
I saw your sister yesterday and gave him your address ” he said
We chatted and I went home .
