I sat looking at my reflection in the mirror as the make up artist adding blush to my cheek , Jess is helping me putting on my shoe , and soon make up artist who’s name is Amanda started applying lipstick on my lips.
Yes today is my wedding day, the day I will get married to the man I love,the day I’d face a new chapter of my life being a married woman, the day my surname will be changed forever,am so happy, am so so happy.
After everything was done I got up .
“Wow your looking so beautiful” Jess said clapping her hands .
“Am so excited” I said smiling so cheesy.
“Thank you Amanda for a job well done” Jess said to her she smiled.
“It’s an Honor” she Replied.
The door opened and my two mom’s entered.
“Oh my world ” my mom said coming towards me.
“Wow!!!” Mom Rose said too .
“This is amazing you look fabulous” mom hugged me and kissed my both cheek.
“Thanks mom” I said .
“Oh my goodness dear, am so blessed,i never knew one day I will have you as my daughter come give me a hug ” mom Rose hugged and kissed me .
“Thanks mom ” I said .
“Wow, it’s time for you to become part of us,finally ” mom Rose said happily i Chuckled, the door opened and Briana and Sia rushed in.
“Gwen” they both yelled happily coming to kiss me and hug me as I giggled.
“Ohhhh!!…you look so beautiful” Briana said Happily.
“Marion won’t be able to recognize you at all ” Sia said and I hugged her
“Of course he will he will just be a little astonished” mom Rose said nudging my mom who gave me thumbs up I giggled .
” Hay ladies it’s time for the bride to go” Mr Malcolm appeared, once he saw me his jaw dropped.
“Oh my goodness, ” he walked closer to me .
“I never knew I was gonna have a goddess as my daughter in-law ” he said and everyone laughed.
He reached me .
“Wow, your so beautiful” he said kissing my forehead.
“Thanks dad ” I said hugging him .
Oh this family are just great am so lucky,getting married into the family.
Soon we arrived at the church and Alex opened the door for me, I gently got out with my veil covering my face , I walked gently as Jess held my hand till I got to the front of the door ,the music started playing and the doors opened, everyone in the church turned to look at me , my hands shook as I held the. Flower tight., my eye’s caught Marion who stood at
the very end of the alter, his two bestfriends stood behind him , he looks so handsome in his Armani suit, oh I keep falling inlove with him over and over again .
Briana came Infront of me and it was time to match forward so Briana started pouring the flowers gently on the floor, by now Jess was holding my gown behind .
My heartbeat increased as I took a every step ,I was getting married , am getting married today , this is a dream come true , Marion’s eyes was on me the whole time,even when hisfriends are whispering to him he has a big smile on his face.
Once I reached my family they were shedding tears of happiness, mom hugged me tightly and whispered she loves me , Susan came forward and hugged me too, then aunty Emily, as usual she eyed me and then smiled I couldn’t help but chuckle, when she hugged
me she whispered your looking beautiful and wish me well , I smiled at her as she kissed my forehead, this woman is so dramatic.
After that my step dad looked at me and smiled he hugged me and I smiled at him ,then he took my hand in his and we started matching towards Marion who is smiling so happily , he adjusted his suit, for some reason I miss my dad Tony Rogers, i wish he was here
to walk me down the aisle, I miss him, he was the best dad in my world even if him and mom separation wasn’t good, he loved me and he never hurt me, I miss him so much .
Dad any where you are I hope your seeing your little princess getting married now, I miss you and I wish you are here , i love you so much dad.
A tear dropped and I wipe it.
Once we reached Marion my step dad started
talking.
“Well, I do not have much to say, she’s yours
completely now, all I need you to do is take good care of her just like you have always been doing,” he said .
“I promise sir ” Marion replied and dad faced me he hugged me and kissed my forehead before placing my hand on Marion , he held me tightly as I stepped towards him to stand in his front .
He looked so handsome, I really can’t believe am really getting married to the love of my life I mean I will soon be his wife under some minutes, he kissed my hand and we smiled at each other .
The priest started taking , had the prayers and all then he asked us if we would love to say our own vows to each other before the matrimonial vow, we both nodded, so I went first.
I smiled at Marion as I took in a deep breath.
“I ….I really don’t know where to start from” I said as a tear drop.
“Start from the beginning girl ” Jess yelled making everyone laugh i chuckled.
I wipe my tears .
“You , ….you were just that boy I had a great crush on back in highschool”
“Awwnmñ” the crowd said .
“I thought maybe what I felt then wasn’t something big , I thought that as time goes, I will get over it and maybe it’s just an infatuation, ” I chuckled.
“But , I discovered that the more I said I was going to get over it , it wasn’t working, so …I decided to make myself noticeable” I said .
” Yes I advice you not to” Jess yelled , and everyone laughed .
“But you kept pushing me away and the more you do so I still come to you, but then finally tutorial brought us together, and you finally noticed me, from there our relationship started, I was always scared that someday we might just part , and my biggest fear happened five years ago, I can’t even mention ” I said and a tear drop from Marion eyes , he nodded
looking at me as he wiped it.
” At that point, i thought it was the end for us,until I met you again , and i knew then , you were the one I wanted ” I said and everyone clapped.
“You don’t know how happy I am for having you Marion. I love you so much , much more than anything, standing here today about to be your wife, has always been one of my biggest dream ” I cried everyone said ” awwwnnnn” some where crying, my two mom’s are crying as they wipe thier tears with their handkerchief.
” Am so happy Marion, because you never gave up on me , you stood for me through tick and thin , you were there , there’s no other thing I want expect you, I love you Marion Rodriguez very much and i will do my best to be the best wife you want , I will love and be faithful to you , I will give anything to mentain a peaceful home for us, I love you marion ” I finished my
speech.
And everyone clapped, Marion wipped his tears.
“You know” he Chuckled as he started” I think am a fool ” he said and the crowd laughed ” I mean , you were one of the most beautiful girl in high school, but I never try to glance at you even when I knew you were there , my friends told me I was missing something ” he said .
” Yeah I told you that dude ” Jose yelled making us laugh.
“Yeah the idiot did” Marion confirmed and everyone laughed as Jose glared at him.
” I was asked to give us a chance and stop being Rude towards you ” he continued.
“Bro that’s me” Andrew yelled and we laughed.
“Yeah the asshole did” Marion replied and we
Chuckled as Andrew shrugged his shoulders,God they are so funny .
“And after the tutorial stuff started, at first I was against it , but soner I fell inlove with it, I discovered i love being around you and your just that girl who is so passionate and kind hearted, your smile was and still is heaven on earth , I don’t know how it started but I knew I was falling deeper for you” he said and i
smiled at him.
” Loving you is one of the amazing things i ever did , I don’t regret it one bit, you were the one for me, your made for me and me alone , and I will always protect you and be there for you every step of the way, either far or near , I will always be there when you fall to
catch you always, and my love for you is eternity, forevermore, it will have no boundaries” he said and a tears slide down my cheek.
“I love to hold you in my arms all the days of my life , loving you continuously, I promise to be the best husband for you even if am not going to be that perfect, I will give you anything there is you want, I promise to be that faithful husband your heart desire, I will just be anything for you, I love you so much
Gwen, am happy i found you ” he said and everyone clapped .
Oh I love him so much .
The priest smiled at us and finally, he said we should repeat after him the matrimonial vow ,I held the ring in my hand as I said after him then slide it on his married finger , he too did the same and slide it to my married finger .
“And now with the power invested in me I now
pronounce you as husband and wife”everybody stood up clapping as the hall is filled with cheers.
“You may now kiss your bride” the priest said and Marion gently pulled the veil from my face and we smiled at each other , he pulled me close to him even though i was on heels his still a bit taller than me, we kissed as Briana threw the flowers at us .
Once we broke apart , we faced the crowd as we smiled at them , everyone came and congratulated us one after the other, our families hugged us and kissed us .
Sonya rushed me and hugged me tightly .
“Happy married life girl , welcome to the club”she said happily and I Chuckled.
“Thank you sonya am so happy you made it” I said .
“Of course I can’t turn you down ” she said happily
“umm where is your husband?” I asked .
“Umm he should be ..” She started looking round as I followed her eyes ” oh see him over there ” she pointed at Daniel who is busy hugging Marion as they laughed together and shook hands .
Daniel started walking to us
“Hello sweet , congrats” Daniel hugged me as i elbow him playfully.
“I told you I was gonna hit you so hard if we see again didn’t I?” I asked glaring at him.
“, Of course you did, and darling why didn’t you tell me she was gonna hit me, I would had stayed far away and congratulate her” he said and we laughed.
Soon we started snapping pictures , me and marion giving different postures, he carried me up and I wrapped my arms around his neck smiling happily as we were snapped , we did other postures, and soon our family too joined.
Soon we left the church , it’s time for reception, when i was about to enter the car with Marion I saw Briana pulling Andrews suit jacket, and Andrew look so funny as he made a puppy eyes, i Chuckled, this two are so funny ,
Sia carried the flowers and got into her dad’s car yes Mr Christian and Mrs Katherina Whitmire , they also kissed me and wished me
Finally I got into the car as Marion entered too, he held my hand and we smiled at each other, Alex began driving us to the reception, cars were just too much , I still need to change from my gown and wear the shorter one , yes it’s two in one, the other one is for the reception.
Am finally married .
