{Delphine’s POV}?
During break time we went to the cafeteria to have lunch as we all ordered for what to eat.
“i will pay the bills girls,” said Sarah ready to eat. I felt so ashame for not been able to say that.
“is that really necessary? i asked as i sipped my drink.
“sure, you both are new students over here, so i need to welcome you warmly most especially my friend Amy,” she smile looking at Amy.
“you’re so sweet, it still the same Sarah i know,” Amy smiled while giggle and focus on my lunch cos i was really hungry. We were still eating when Clark and his friends entered the cafeteria, Nicole was beside Clark and his arms were wrapped around her wa-ist. The order for something then settle down to eat. They were all
gisting and laughing and that reminds me of my former school, it reminds me of Milton and also my best friend Stacy, i was so popular in my school, calm and good student i miss those days i wish i could go back to my former school.
“let hurry up and leave this place i don’t want to set my eyes on that girl,” said Sarah she seems so angry i know she was referring to Nicole.
“Sarah, we don’t need to eat fast because of them, i guess Clark is so popular in this school right and i think most of the girls like him, i said while Amy looked at me.
“they look so perfect,” said Amy smiling while Sarah gave her a look.
“he looks so handsome, now i see why my noble friend Sarah has already fallen for him,” said Amy jokingly while i smiled. My eyes meet with Nicole, am sure she saw
me and she quickly stood up and walked up to me.
“hello girls,”she said smiling.
“Nicole,” i smiled back.
“Delphine, hope you’re enjoying the school, if you need anything don’t hesitate to talk to me,” she smiled.
“thank you so much Nicole, ” i smiled back while she went back to join Clark and his friends.
“why is she kind to you? have she known you before? Sarah asked.
“no, i guess she only knows me as Miss. Murphy,” i replied, Amy was busy with her food she seems not to care with our conversation.
“Nicole is really something else,” Sarah mumble to herself the we continued eating.

School was great today and i really enjoyed it having Amy and Sarah all day with me and also Nicole, everyone seems to like me and i felt happy about but i just hope they like me for who am i and not because am Miss. Murphy. I wave bye to Sarah and Amy and went out to get a cab home. Am damn tired of this miserable life am not used to this poor life, but i will never go back to my dad i have decided to stay with my mom for good.

Livvy was done with dinner and set everything on the table, she sat on a couch when her grandma entered and sat beside her.
“mom, where have you been all day? Livvy asked so worried.
“i went to Morgan to scold him about what he did to you,” Lee said.
“mom, but at least you should have seek my permission first,” said Livvy so pissed.
“don’t say that Livvy i can’t stand to see you get hurt just because of Maria i thought she was your friend,”
“yes mom but am also blaming Morgan. Mom i have gotten over this and i want to be the cheerful Livvy i just want to move on and this time without Morgan,” she said
“why Livvy, you need to win your family back, your marriage is already terminated you need to do everything to sort this out,” Lee suggested.
“nothing left to sort out mom cos Morgan has already sign the divorce papers, am divorce! am no longer his wife but ex wife,” Livvy half yelled as tears stream down from her eyes.
The door suddenly opened and Delphine walked in.
“mom, grandma! she called as she rushed and gave them a peck smiling, she her smiles fade away when she saw tears in her mom’s face.
“mom are you crying again? she asked as she dropped her bag and sat down beside her.
“no Delphine am fine, am fine,” she said wiping away her tears.
“Delphine dear go and freshen up and come for dinner i will talk to your mom,” said Lee.
“okay grandma,” Delphine went to her room.
“sorry about this Livvy, and what actually hurt must is that Morgan isn’t feeling sorry about what he did to you,” said Lee while Livvy wipe away her tears not saying anything.
Delphine joined them at the dinning table.
“Delphine sweetheart, please don’t be worried about me am fine, I’ve gotten over this am ready to live my life with or without your dad even thou it will be quite difficult because i still love him but i just have to for-ce myself,” said Livvy as she held Delphine’s hands softly.
“i want to see you happy mom, you deserve to be happy s don’t allow dad be the cause of your sadness,” Delphine said while she smile.
“well before you two get emotional and cry let finish eating first,” said Lee while they all focus on their meal.
After dinner, Delphine wash the dishes immediately and went to check on her mom in her room.
“good night mom,” she said smiling.
“Delphine do you like your new school? are you enjoying it? Livvy asked her.
“yes mom, today was great at school everyone likes me but i miss my former school, i miss Milton and Stacy and my others friends,”
“you just have to ba-re with us dear,”
“it okay mom, goodnight,” i
smiled .
{Delphine POV}?
I went to my room and picked up my novel tittle: *OUR LOVE* and continue reading it, it was really interesting and inspiring, their love story was amazing, i smile to
myself and thought about my life too i want my family back but i don’t think this can happen, i remembered about Milton and smile a bit, am still confused and don’t know what else to tell him about his proposal to me.
The next morning Delphine was at school already, she was seated in the cla-ss glancing throu-ghher note because they’ll behaving test early that morning, Amy and Sarah walked to the cla-ss with a happy face and greeted Delphine. They both sat close to her and picked up their note books.
“i don’t like reading in the cla-ss, let go to the reading arena, it quiet and nice,” said Sarah.
“are you sure? Amy asked while Sarah smiled then nodded.
They three of them settle at the reading area, the place looks pretty nice and very quiet, only few students were seen over their.
After the test Delphine checked her timetable and discovered she was having another cla-ss. She has brou-ght her novel to school hoping to read it during her free time.
Immediately after her lessons, Delphine went back to the cla-ss to pick up her novel, she was planing to read it since she’s having few time but couldn’t find it in her bag.
“mmh.. Sarah did you see anyone taking my novel title: *OUR LOVE*,” Delphine asked.
“no, i guess the novel will gonna be interesting? Sarah asked smiling.
“what about Amy? where’s she? could she have carried it? Delphine asked.
“Amy is not a fan of it, she don’t like reading novels she find it boring and not interesting, just check your locker again,” said Sarah while Delphine was sad about that. She checked everywhere but couldn’t see it then she quickly went out looking so worried and angry at the same time, she was in haste when she bumped into Clark.
“hey, Miss. Murphy you look so confused and worried,” he said while she said nothing. Delphine stared at him for a while and was shocked to see the book in his hands she quickly snatched it away.
“you thief, how dare you pick the book from my bag without my permission? she half yelled feeling so angry. Clark quickly snatched away the book from her hand.
“this mine, this my novel, are you insane Miss. Murphy, he yelled back at her.
“that’s my novel, give it back to me, stop being a fool,” Delphine yelled again, this brings the attentions of some students pa-ssing by to stopped and watched them arguing over a book.
“i have no time to argue with you over my own book,” Clark blurted out so angry as he turn to leave but Delphine caught him by his wrist and he pushed her away,
which she almost fall to the ground but she quickly ran after him and stood in front of him,”
“give me this book Clark, stop acting this way it doesn’t suits you at all,” she yelled facing him.
“what going on here,” Nicole asked from afar, the crowd excuse her and she walked in with the same novel in her hand. Delphine was shocked to see Nicole holding the same novel, how did it happen? and which one was actually mine? she asked herself.
