Jason accompanied Livvy back home and they had dinner together.
“thank you so much sir, for everything,” Delphine thanked him.
“Delphine if you need anything please don’t hestitate to tell me, you can feel free to tell you anything,” he said while Delphine just smiled back at him.
“thank you so much sir for helping us,” said David busy with his food.
“Jason, i must say your coming back to Livvy has really helped this family, because Livvy has been so happy and that what makes us happy also,” Lee said.
“am just trying to make up for the things i haven’t done for Livvy, as a friend,” he said while they all smiled and continue with their dinner.

⏭️Later that evening Delphine sat down sat down at the veranda with her earphone plugged to her ear, she lean her on the large pillar supporting the building and humm the song she was listening to.
“when you’re so sad you und-erstand the lyrics,”a sad thing in life is when you love a person but only to find out at the end that you were never meant to be and you just have to let go,”” she remembered what Clark told her at music studio.
“Delphine! Livvy tapped her from behind.
“mom,” she said removing her earphone.
“you look so worried and confuse this days, are you hiding anything from me? Livvy asked her.
“mom, i just feel i need someone to talk to, mom i think am in love,” she said while Livvy looked at her.
“with Milton? she asked while Delphine kept quiet.
“Delphine, love is the greatest feeling ever one can ever have especially when you’re with the right person. People do make mistakes in choosing the wrong person over the right person,” Livvy said while Delphine remember exactly what Clark told her.
“but mom, what does that mean, between dad and Jason who’s the wrong person you’ve fallen for him? i asked her.
“your dad, Delphine i sometimes feel he’s the wrong person i fell in love with after our marriage with him, thats why some people believe that love is blind because when one is in love he only sees his spouse or partner as the right person without seeing any fault in him not only that they don’t seems to know who they right person is meant for them,” Livvy said while Delphine stared into space.
“wow,” Livvy said as she touched the ne-cklace on Delphine’s ne-ck. MIL?DEL. Milton gave you this right? she asked her while Delphine nodded.
“yes mom, Milton truly loves me and i do mother, of course i do love him so much,” she said while Livvy observe her for a while.
“why are you saying it as if you’re convincing yourself that you love him? Livvy asked her.
“mom, am not convincing myself am just trying to accept the fact that..
“Delphine dear, come here,” Livvy said hugging her.
“i don’t want you to pas-sthrou-ghwhat i did, i don’t want you to make the same mistake, you need to be more serious with your studies now and any guy that truly loves you should wait for you until they day you are ready to say yes to that person. You have to be strong in this, you have to play your card well not to be cheated and deceive in this life,” Livvy advise while Delphine hug-ged her then wipe away the tears in her eyes.

I had breakfast with my family and got my things ready, i have told my mom earlier about going to the camp it just for three days anyway and i know it gonna be interesting.
“Delphine learn to trust in your own heart, you need to be strong for me, remember what i told you yesterday,” she said then hug-ged me. I so much love my mom.
“mom, i won’t disappoint you,” i said with teary eyes..
⏭️We were already in a huge school bus on our way to Montreal, i was seated next to Milton while i saw Clark at the other end with his earphone plug to his ear, and he
seems to be so busy on his phone.
“what are you staring at? Milton asked me trying to check out who i was looking.
“nothing, i was just thinking,” i smiled then he held my hands.
After few hours of the journey we later arrived in the evening and i called my mom to inform her about our arrival. We were welcome by the organisation and give a
room to sleep in, a large room for girls and they other for boys.
Dinner was ready that evening and we all had dinner on the long dining table, everything went on good that evening.

The next morning one of man suggest everyone should have his or her partner, for the particular work before we’ll go about distributing things to people living in
slums and other people, cos we will be share in group.
Mrs.Laron one of our teacher brou-ght a container which has a paper already wrapped.
“listen everyone, you will all pick the paper and in it has a number so if you pick up the same number with any person you’ll gonna be partners and work together
until the end of this camp,” he said.
“hope we gonna pick the same number,” Milton said while i just smiled, everyone was done picking his number and yelling the numbers they took, i heard Clark saying
two. I guess he’s number is two.
“who’s number six,” i heard Amy asking that.
“too bad Delphine i picked number ten and that’s the same number Nicole picked,” said Sarah frowning.
“come on, you gonna like her, you just need to cooperate,” i said smiling.
“what number did you took? Sarah asked me as she collect the paper from my hand and opened it.
“wow, number two, you took same number with Clark,” she said looking so excited.
“number two! i don’t want to do this with Clark, i don’t want to, i will just ask Milton, i want to do this with him,” i said as i moved forward to ask Milton what
number he took Mrs.Laron stopped me.
“Delphine what number did you took? she asked me.
“two ma’m,” i replied while she wrote down my name together with Clark i wanted to say something but it has alreay being done.
“hey Milton what number did you took? i asked him.
“six,” he said.
“six,” Amy said a loud.
“then am your partner,” she said smiling.. hmmm i think Amy has always admire my Milton.
“well, at least you are all easy going people,” i said smiling.
what about you? he asked me.
“it Clark,”
“Clark again, why is he always ahead of me,” he yelled.
“hey don’t worry about it, i will handle everything myself,” i smiled.

Clark was seated alone when Nicole came and sat down beside him.
“Nicole,” he said while she looked at him then touched his cheeks.
“Clark,” she said.
“what did you want? he half yelled.
“calm down, i need nothing from you, gone are those days i beg money from you, am not asking you of anything again i just need your cooperation, am willing to help
you get what you want,” she said while Clark looked at her.
“you don’t know what i want,” he yelled.
“of course i do, i know you want Delphine, you love her don’t you? she asked while Clark was surprise to hear her say that.
“of course i do,” he replied.
“you can’t be with Delphine,”
“Nicole, i just need to be alone,” Clark asked as he stood up to leave.
“because her mother is the woman your dad has ever loved,” said Nicole while Clark was shocked to hear that.
“yes, Livvy is the woman your dad has chosen over your mom, and am sure they’ll soon get married because they still love each other, so expect Delphine to be step
sister in the future, even Delphine knows about this, everyone knows this expect you,” said Nicole as she stood and moved closer to him.
“you can only be with Delphine if you get ride of that woman who left your dad and that’s Livvy, Delphine’s mom,” she whisper to his ear as she touched his ch-est
staring at him.
“this should be between us and my mom,” she whisper.
“who’s your mom? he asked her.
“you will get to see her once you agree with this, i love you Clark and am only trying to help you get Delphine, if you want we can also get rid of that jerk Milton
and you’ll have her for yourself,” she said and this time she ki-ssed him pa-ssionately…
“so what did you think? she asked smiling.
“Delphine’s mother was the woman? i have always feel this! Nicole am ready for anything, Delphine trust me so much and at he same time she betrayed me she couldn’t
love me back but keep choosing that jerk over me, someone have to die in this game. Am ready for this,” Clark said in anger.
“thank you Clark, we gonna work to achieve this,” Nicole smiled feeling so happy.⏭️.
