?Clark’s POV?

I was at club, so sad and so angry with myself, i just want to get myself so drunk and forget about my pains. Ever since i saw Delphine and Milton ki-ssing i hated myself i just think drinking much here i will just let it out. I was already seated and order five different alcoholic drinks to get busy. Damn it! Am i destined to keep on getting hurt, i just saw Delphine and Milton walked in, She looks so pretty this evening, i guess they didn’t saw me. Tears filled up my eyes but i try to hold it. It hurt to love someone and not to be love in return she looks so happy with Milton and they even dance together.
Delphine and her crazy dance, well i just love the way she dance. Seeing her with Milton keeps hurting me every seconds that pa-sses by. I just have to leave here because i don’t want to see them together, i will just go to another bar and get myself drunk. I stood up ready to leave when i saw two men dragging Delphine aside, Milton seems to be drunk already. Damn it! Why will her so call Milton get drunk while he’s with her.
If i was him i wouldn’t have get drunk while am with Delphine, instead i will love and watch over her for the rest of my life. Those men will gonna receive the beating of their if they try to hurt my Delphine.I quickly stood up and ran to catch up with them, did they just close the door. I ran in opening the door wide with so much anger, i saw those guys tying her up on the bed, i quickly gave them blow and i fought them.
“who is she to know,” the other man asked in anger.
“just let her go,” i yelled.

❇Delphine’s POV❇

Those men were trying to tie me up on the bed but i kept on struggling with them until Clark arrived, i can’t believe he’s also at the club too. He quickly fought them with so much anger in him, Clark is so strong, i quickly stood up why he held my hand dragging me outside with him one of the men picked up a broken glas-sand hit Clark so ha-rd on his head.
“Clark,” i yelled in tears because he was already weak.
“security! I yelled and they came to our aid, the two guys ran while security men ran to catch up with them.
“Clark,” i yelled his name, blood was already gushing out from his head, he was too heavy for me to carry so i quickly held him, putting his arms on my shoulder and we walked out. I also can’t leave Milton here but Clark is already loosing too much blood. I quickly stopped a taxi outside and put Clark in while i also sat beside him. I ask the driver to hurriedly take us to a nearest clinic. Clark is already seated in pains, the nurse has already attended to him and were able to stop him from bleeding, i checked my time it was already nine PM i know mom will be so worried about me.
“am so sorry Clark for putting you in such condition,” i said wiping my tears as i touched the bandage on his head.
” does it still hurt? i asked while he stares at me, he held my hand softly then looked into my eyes again.
“are you sure Milton is the right person for you? He asked while i just nodded saying yes Clark,” i replied.
“thank you so much for saving me, it all my fault after all,”
“it not your fault Delphine, because you were not drunk, Milton should be blame for this,” he said but i just kept quiet. I helped Clark stood up while he took a taxi home.
“please Clark don’t tell your dad about happen,” i said while he nodded, i gave him a hug before he left. Clark was just on-time to save me from those men i quickly hurried home and meet my mom at the sitting room.
OMG my dressed was stained with Clark blood, i wonder what my mom will say when she saw that.
“Delphine what happen to you,” She half yelled.
“mom it nothing, on my way someone involved into an accident and we have helped out,” i said, i just don’t like the idea of telling lies to my mom.
” so did you get hurt, what about Milton? She asked looking so worried.
“nothing bad happen to us i need to freshen up,” i said as i went to my room. After freshen up i was already on bed ready to sleep, i tried calling Milton but he wasn’t picking my calls i just hope he’s safe. I text Clark a message which reads:- “am sorry for what happen, please get well soon”.
I was so worried thinking about the two guys until i fall asleep.

❇The next day mom has planned for us pack to the new house given to us by Jason. It was such a busy day but i was able to talk with Clark on phone while i was unable to reach Milton.
Our new house was quite big, it huge and beautiful. Jason must have spend a lot in building this. Everything has been arranged, mom and grandma seems to like the house too.
“Delphine we need to be more careful now, you don’t have to go about telling people that we’ve packed in, i want here to be a secret so that no one will be able to find nor harm us,” she said to me.
“yes mom you’re right, we just need to be more careful now, no one will know about this,” i hug her.
“sir Jason has been the one taking care of us now, he’s such a good person,” David said, i just smile hearing him say that while mom ruffled his hair.
“he’s a nice friend to mommy and all of you,” she said smiling.
❇I went to check on Milton at home and i meet him by poolside.
” Milton,” i said while he stood up to hug me but i step backward.
“you got yourself drunk yesterday night and you couldn’t save me from those guys,” i yelled
“am sorry Del, i know am too stupid to have let that happen to you, am sorry,” he pleaded but i just kept quiet still angry with what happen last night.
“not only that, you weren’t picking up my calls,” I yelled again.
“i managed to come back home myself after searching for you, i nearly had an accident,” he said which made me scared when i had the word “accident”.
“and i was almost ra-pe,” i yelled in tears.
“what! He said looking so shocked.
“can you recognized those men? He asked looking much worried.
“of course i don’t know them, they’re men from the club, those street guys or probably a-ssa-ssins, who knows! I yelled.
“Am sorry babe, i know i messed up, but am sorry i won’t allow this to happen to you again, and thanks to whoever that save you,” he said holding my hands.
“it was Clark that save me,” i said drying up my tears.
” he did, he was their at the club? He asked while i nodded.
“Clark is such a nice person, but i hope am forgiven,” he tickle which made me laugh he carried me up in his arms.
“hey were are taking me to? I asked and hit his shoulder playfully.
“to make it up to you for what i did,” he said.
He took me to a large garden, looking so beautiful, he held my hand and we walked round until we reach to a beautiful table with two sit, filled with much food of different kind and drink, he sat me next to me.
“i actually plan this just for, to make it make to you, i know what i did was wrong,” he said holding my hands.
“that so sweet of you,” i smiled back as he feed me himself. He played a slow music and i stood up to dance with him. We spent a while staring at each before he ki-ssed me pa-ssionately.
” i love you so much, i will forever love and cherish you,” he whisper so romantic to my ear.
“i love you too,” i whisper then ki-ss him back. It was such a perfect day for the both of us, a perfect feeling and i enjoyed every bit of it.
⏭️The next day at school i was surprise to see Clark at school. He’s such a strong to come to school despite the injury he sustain just because of me.
“Clark how you feeling? does it still hurt? I asked as i gently touched the bandage on his head.
“it still hurt, but am fine,” he said with a smile.
“wish you quick recovery i really don’t like to see people getting hurt just because of me,” i said while he just smile.
“thanks Clark, you save my girlfriend,” Milton said as he moved closer to us holding my wa-ist. Clark said nothing but only replied back with a smile.
Milton tickle me while i laughed and we walked away chasing each other. .

?Clark’s POV?

I just have to accept my fate, i can never be with Delphine. I have to stop fooling myself, even if i tell her about my feelings it means nothing because she already belong to someone else. I was lost in my thought when my dad sat down close to me.
“you mean you get hurt because you’re trying to save the girl you love? he asked me while i nodded.
“i guess we were just too unlucky about love, she don’t even love me back,” i said as i stood up and went to my room, i was having a strong headache, my head really hurts but it better this way than anything bad to happen to Delphine. Sometimes in life you just have to let go of something you love most maybe you’re not just destined for that. After all it only three months for me to graduate after that i will return back to Mexico to further my education. I just have to forget Delphine.. THIS LOVE SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE?
