We’ve already arrived to Ontario and we were already at the airport. It so cool to be home again, i can’t wait to see my family. All throu-ghour journey to school,
Clark has been so quiet.
“hey aren’t you happy you gonna see your dad? i asked him while he just glare at me but i smile back at him.
We’ve arrived back to our school first and i could hear noises already, lots of students trooping out of their clas-sjust to see us. Oh am so happy to see Sarah and
Amy as i ran into their arms.
“you did it,” they yelled so excited while i just nodded.
“oh congratulations,” Sarah went up and hug Clark. We were called to the principal office and was given our award, magazines and newspapers were already published about us and distributed even to other schools, i can’t believe why they decided to put my picture with Clark when we were hugging, and also staring at each other.
“why will they use this picture? i asked Clark.
“i was the one that submit those photos to be used in the newspaper.
“oh Delphine, you look so sweet together,” said Sarah holding the newspaper.
“okay,” i fake a smile then left, i wonder where Milton could be, i went in search of him but he seems not to be in school that day, well i just hope all is well.
After an hour we’ve settle everything in school and we were permitted to go home, Clark has called for his driver to pick him up while he suggested i also go with him, so he can drop me at home. I entered the car and sat down at the back seat next to Clark, while i gave the driver my address.
“Clark, are you okay? i asked him again but he just looked at me.
“am fine Delphine,” he replied while i smile a bit. We’ve been silence until we’ve arrived home and i wave bye to him, i ran into the house and no one was their. OMG
i just hope my dream isn’t coming true, i quickly freshened up and picked my phone to call mom when i saw a message from my dad:- *congratulations my princess, you did well and you’ve just make daddy proud*
He have knew it already! well it has been posted on the net and also the news. It been long i heard my dad call me princess he only call me that when i did something good, i just missed those days and pet names he usually call me, i sometimes wonder what has actually gone wrong with him that he have to divorce my mom and made her pas-sthrou-ghpain by sending her to jail. I quickly made dinner for my family i just hope nothing bad happen to them. I was at the sitting room when i heard my mom laughing from outside, i guess she’s with someone,
i peep throu-ghthe window and saw her with Jason, they look so happy together and am glad this man has made my mom
much happier but at the same time i still don’t want them to be together i really don’t know why, Clark can’t be my step brother! I don’t like it that way.
“i guess Delphine must be back home,” i heard my mom saying that.
“sure, i need to hurried home to see Clark, our children are so genius to be chosen for that competition,” he said while my mom just smiled, he hug her then left.
“anyone home? my mom said as she walked in i quickly ran to her arms and am sure she’s very happy to see me.
“Delphine sweetheart, welcome home,” she smiled.
“thanks, the competition was great, so wonderful, we won it,” i said while my mom shouted in excitement.
“this calls for special celebration,” she said aloud.
“what about grandma and David? i asked.
“i guess they’re on their way home, David is also doing well in school,” she said removing her jacket.
“oh here they comes,” i said aloud as i ran and hug-ged my grandma then David.
“i love you all,” i shouted in excitement.
“you won? David asked me while i nodded my head.
“yes David, grandma, you should come here,” i dragged them to my room and show them my award and the cheque of two million given to me.
“we are now rich! David jumped on the sofa while i laughed, my mom and grandma chuckle. Home is always the best, my family means the world to be but i guess
celebrating this with my family won’t be complete with my dad, but it just have to cos he chose Maria over my mom. I picked up my phone and wanted to replied to my dad message but something just stopped me and i kept my phone aside.
?We all settle at the dining table, mom went to the nearest restaurant and brou-ght much food and wine for us. I ate a lot that evening, we have so much to eat and
drink, that was the prefect evening ever with my lovely family.
“so how was Singapore then, how were you guys able to make it? David asked.
“you know your sister, i said so proudly. “Delphine always win,” i said at the same time with David while we laughed.
“am so much lucky to have have you dear, i love you so much,” my mom dragged me and David closer to us as she hug-ged us so tight, my grandma watch us smiling.
After dinner i went to my room feeling so sleepy and tired. I wanted to call Milton since i haven’t seen him in school but i was too tired for that. I lye on my bed and glance at some of my photos we took with Clark at Singapore then smile to myself, i threw my phone aside then thought of Milton till i slept off.

? The next morning i was dressed for school and checked myself in my mirror looking so good as always. David was already dressed to go to school.
“Delphine since we gat much money now, i want us to keep celebrating this every night, just a simple family party,” he said while hit his shoulder playfully.
“you like too much enjoyment,” i said smiling.
“yes, dad has spoiled me with this,” he said while i hug-ged him.
“i need to go now,” i said then left i could hear him chuckle behind me.
⏭️I walked to school feeling so happy, i meet Sarah and Amy in the cla-ss.
“hey Del, you and Clark are now the most bright student in the whole college for wining this, your photos with him is actually posted everywhere and i heard the government will also award you since you’re from his state,” Sarah said while i smiled.
“look, you look so good with Clark, and you hug him so tight as couples,” said Amy but i glare at her.
“i was just too excited, so their’s nothing in this picture,” i rolled my eyes then looked away pretending to be angry.
“come on girl, am just saying you look so cute they both of you,” Amy said while i just nodded my head.
OMG i just saw Milton but he seems to be sad, strange! he don’t even care to say hey to me.
“Milton,” i yelled out his name then ran to meet him.
“watch out,” i heard Sarah and Amy yelled behind me. OMG the tiles is too sli-ppery, i almost fall but was caught by someone, thank God someone caught me on time if
not i would have been death, i raise my head and our face almost touched with the one the held me, it was Clark, i stared into his blue ocean eyes, “Milton,” i called
out while Clark realise me.
“thank you Clark, you were just on time to save me from falling down,” i said then ran to Milton but unfortunately for me he’s no longer their…
