“what were you trying to do with my daughter! Livvy yelled at Milton then slapped him so hard.
“Milton, i have always trusted and thought you’re the right person for Delphine, but you betreyed her how could you? Livvy yelled in tears.
“we need to rush her to the hospital,” Jamie said in tears. Clark has already fainted while Milton and Sarah were taken to the station.

?Morgan paced up and down and hope the operation went successfully.
“why would Milton and Sarah do that to them, i have always thought they were her friends,” Livvy said in said.
“mom, trust me Delphine will be okay and also Clark, they both love each other, so they need to survived for each other,” said David as he sat besdie his mom.
“Milton has always wanted to have Delphine by force i wonder if that what he called love, and as for Sarah i never knew situation can changed people, she was Delphine’s best friend at high school but now she’s turns out to be her enemy just because she also love Clark,” David said then shook his head in pity.
“i just hope Delphine will survived this, she has always survived every storm and i hope she do this for her family and for Clark her love,” Livvy said in tears.
“Liv, Delphine need our prayers. I know she will survived this,” said Morgan trying to comfort Livvy who was in tears.

⏭️The next day Clark was awake but felt so weak and couldn’t walk on his feet due to the way he was badly injured so he needed to use crutches for the main time.
“Clark, my son how you feeling? you’ve been unconscious since yesterday,” said Jamie in tears.
“where’s Delphine? he asked trying to sat up but couldn’t due to the pains, his hand is connected to a drip.
“she’s not awake, but am sure she’ll be fine,” said Livvy holding his hand gently.
“thank goodness we arrived on time, if not only God knows what would have happen. That Milton and Sarah are evil,” said Livvy.
“you need some rest Clark, don’t think about Delphine she will soon be fine,” said Morgan but Clark didn’t care to hear any of what they said.
“i need to see Delphine, she’s in that condition because of me, she should have let them shoot me. Delphine have suffered a lot i don’t want to see her in pains again,” he said while tears were flowing down his cheeks he tried to stood up and Jamie stop him from doing so.
“Clark, you can’t go to see her and beside no one is allow to see her for now,” sadi Livvy trying to make him calm down but Clark insisted to see her. The nurse quickly came in and injected him which he fall asleep in a short while.
“Clark and Delphine are going throu-gha lot, what on earth will make Milton beat Clark that way,” said Morgan as he look a Clark, he’s face was swollen up and his hands and legs were seriously injured.
“Milton and Sarah will pay for this,” Jamie said in tears.

?Delphine’s POV?
I slowly open my eyes and meet my whole family beside me i was so glad to see them and to spent time with them before i go. This pain is just too much, i couldn’t even walk on my feet, my whole body is seriously in pains, i looked around and notice one person is missing and that’s Clark.
“where’s.. Clark? i asked as tears slide down my eyes.
“he’s doing fine Delphine, we really miss you so much. I know you’ll survived this. I’ve always make you to be strong,” my mom said holding my hand lightly while i just put on a weak smile.
“thank you all,” i managed to say. I looked down to my stomach where i was badly injured although the place is covered with bandage but i could feel so much pains, i just wish myself death at that moment, this pain is just too much.
“how you feeling Delphine? dad asked me while i just fake a smile.
“fine dad, thank God i survived,” i said in tears.
“Delphine, you’re so strong you have to get well soon for your family. Remember our family will never be complete without you,” he said which make tears flow from my cheeks. I still find it ha-rd to believe Sarah will do this to me. As for Milton he’ll regret this for the rest of his life.
“Delphine,” said Jamie as she walked in with Clark. OMG i can’t believe that’s my Clark walking with crutches, his face has swollen with much wounds because of the beating he recieve from Milton and his boys.
“Clark..” i called out in tears as he sat down beside me then held my hands.
“how’re you? does it still hurts? i asked him but he just looked at me.
“this nothing Delphine, i should be the one asking you. How are you feeling? he asked looking straight to my eyes.
“am fine,” i just replied.
“Delphine, you can do this, you’ll survived this,” he said while i just nodded.
“Del.. you’re such a very strong lady. And am the best brother to have a strong sister like you. Even when you thought you lose all of us you still survived, and am glad you did,” said David holding my hands.
“am also happy to have you as my brother David,” i said smiling. I really felt so happy having Clark by my side and then my family. What more can i asked for.

?A week later i was little bit recuperating although they wound is still their which is so painful.
My mom and dad walked in with a large cake and on it written: *?GET WELL SOON DEL?* The just did that for me.
David and Celyn walked in with a bouquet of beauitful flowers
“we want you back home Delphine so we can be happy again,” Daddy said while i smiled.
“i also wish that to happen,” i said then sat up, i felt so much pain down my stomach but i managed to look so happy.
“Delphine, they doctor said you’ll soon recover and the wound is still on treatment, you need to get well soon for us,” said my mom while i just smile.
“once am home, nothing bad will ever happen to me again and then i will be so happy with all of you again, thank you for showing me much love,” i said trying to hold back much tears from my eyes.
“here is your breakfast, your favorite lemon soup,” said mom as she sat beside me then feed me.
“thank you mom,” i said smiling after eating then laid back on the bed.
“mom i need a jotter to write something down,” i said to her while she quickly brou-ght it out from her purse and gave me.
1. *don’t depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness* After am done writing it down on a paper i fold it then kept it under my pillow.
“what’s that for? mom asked me but i just fake a smile.
“you’ll gonna read it someday,” i said.
“Delphine dear sorry for what happen to you,” Celyn said standing beside me.
“thank you so much Celyn,” i said smiling while she smiled back at me. I just wish i could no longer feel this pain so i can go back home to my family again.
⏭️ Later in the evening, Clark walked in to my room and i was so glad he could now walk without using crutches and the wound on his face were fast disappearing. Well wound or no wound my Clark is always handsome.
“Delphine, are you okay? he asked me while i just smile.
“am feeling little bit fine, and you? i asked touching his cheeks.
“am fine Delphine because am with you, am with the woman i have always loved and wish to spend the rest of my life with, i love you Delphine,” he said while i just put on a weak smile.
“i love you too Clark, am sorry for everything that happen,” I said while he held my hands then ki-ssed it.
“i prayed you’ll recover soon to get out of this place, so we can start our life together in peace without anyone to hurt us again,” he said while i just smiled.
“i have something for you Delphine,” he smiled as he open a small box and brou-ght out a diamond necklace which looks very beautiful.
“this for you Delphine, the symbol of my love for you, i will always love you for the rest of my life,” he said while i smiled as he put it round my neck the held my hands.
“thank you,” i said then picked up a pen and paper on a table close to me.

THE DAY THAT PRECIOUS BOOK CLOSE
IS THE DAY I WILL STARE AT DEATH..*?
“Delphine, can i see what you’re writing? Clark asked while i smile and hand over the paper to him .
“nice write up but what for? why are you writing this, it not as if you’ll gonna die,” he said which make me laugh.
“you won’t understand this until am gone,” i said.
“until you’re gone? he asked with a sad face.
“just kidding,” i said smiling.
“this strange! he said then gave me back the paper.
“Delphine nothing bad will happen to you. You’ll not gonna died if that what you think,” he said holding my hands while i just smiled back.
“i hope so, because i want to see you happy again. Am sure wherever your dad is he also want to see you happy,” i said while he smiled and those cute smile of his alone gave peace to my heart. He picked up his guitar and played it for me until i slept off.
⏭️The next day, everyone in my family were their with me again i felt so lucky to be the duaghter of my parents. A time spent well is always a time remember i jote it down in my book. The doctor told my parents i might be discharged from the hospital in a few weeks time i can’t wait to be at home with my family cos i felt so happy seeing them with me, just then i sat up because i was tired of lying down, i felt a sharp pain down my stomach, it so painful and at the same time itching me. Just then blood began to gush out from my mouth, my parents became so scared and hurriedly called the doctor and nurses.
“Delphine, be strong okay,” i heard my mom saying that in tears.
“why is everyone saying am strong. I’ve been feeling much better but now i felt like dying as tears stream down my eyes and i couldn’t say anything because of this pain.
“you need to leave, we have to check on her,” The doctor said to my family.
“please save my duaghter,” mom said in tears why Clark was holding my hands but the nurses quickly ask him to leave. I have always knew a day like this will come, i looked at my family for the last time and smile. BEHIND EVERY SMILE THEIRS A HIDDEN STORY, A STORY NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND AND THAT’S MY PAIN. I then realise i was dying and my eyes were closing slowly.
“good..bye Clark, i will be somewhere watching over you always and i hope you find someone better, someone better than me..,” i stammered.
“Delphine don’t, don’t give up,” i heard Clark voice for the last time then my breathe stop. My spirit stood up from the bed and then i saw my death body lying their, then i knew am death for real.
“Del..phine! Clark called out my name in tears, i turn to my dad who was in tears and my mom weeping bitterly, David who was looking very shocked and confuse with teary eyes. I shook my head in pity, i guess this much better than the pains of this life, cos i could no longer feel the pain. Even thou am death but as far as my family and Clark are alive i will remain very much part of this world long after i have gone. I looked at them againg then disppeared into a thin air.
“doctor, what about my daughter? Livvy asked in tears.
“am sorry, we lost her,” the doctor said which sound as a bomb to everyone.
“doctor, no Delphine can’t just die like his,” Clark said in tears staring at her death body in shocked.
NOT EVERY LOVE STORY HAS A HAPPY ENDING, EVERYTHING HAPPEN FOR A REASON. DELPHINE IS GONE already..!!!
