“just let me go please,” i cried but
they refused to let go of me. I
sight a car coming and those huge
men quickly release me from men quickly release me from their
tight grip and ran away, i guess they
were guilty and they thought the
car coming could be the policemen
or one of the security men.
“help! help! i cried, the car was
packed at one side of the road and
a young guy came out.
“what going on here? i heard this
familiar voice, it was already dark
and they rain was still pouring
heavily.
“what on earth will make a young
girl like you stay out in this
dangerous street, this rainy
evening,” the guy said. What now i
recognize the voice, could it be
Clark. I looked at the guy again and
was surprise to see Clark.
“let get into my car,” he said, then i
quickly went in. He drive in silence,
without saying anything to me, we
arrived at a hotel and step out of
the car.
“Delphine! Clark called out my
name, he looked at me from head
to toe and i felt so ashame of
myself.
“let go in,” he said while i quietly
followed him behind.
We went in and he went striaght to
the receptionist.
“we only have one room left,” i
heard her saying that.
“one room! are you sure about
this? Clark asked as he looked at
me but i quickly looked away, i kept
avoiding his eyes, am so mad at
him for staying too long and for not
coming back to me, but at the
same time i felt so happy seeing
him. I was lost in my thought when
Clark gently tapped me.
“let go,” he said, while i followed
him, he reach to the room and i
was surprise if we gonna sleep the
same room with him.
This such a big hotel, so how could
they say only one room is left, i
said to myself.
“freshen up, some clothes will will
be deliver here on time,” he said.
“i’ll be right back,” he said then left.
My heart was beating fast-er and i
wonder why he’s acting as if we are
strangers.
I love Clark so much and
this time am not letting him go. I
quickly freshen up and a lady came
in with a new dress in a box am
sure Clark might have send her
with it. It just a simple dress for me
to wear tonight. I dried myself and
wear the dress on. Clark is still the
caring person i have always known, i
smiled to herself as i checked
myself in the large mirror,
after a
very long time of sadness, am
smiling again just because of Clark.
If we are to sleep in the same room
with him i guess i will sleep on the
floor. The door went opened and
Clark came in, he spent a while
looking me. I picked up one of the
blanket, cos am leaving the bed for
him to sleep on while i sleep on the
floor.
“what are you doing? Clark asked.
“uhmm, am sleeping here, you can
sleep on the bed,” i said.
“you can’t sleep on the floor, you
should have the bed while i sleep
here,” he said.
“no Clark, you saved me, and
you’re the one paying for this
room, i quickly said.
“okay then we both can sleep on
the bed,” he said while i looked at
him and he just smiled. He laid on
the left side of the bed while i laid
on the other end backing him, i
picked up a pillow and hug it so
tight. I remembered those days we
shared together with Clark. I’ve
been such a fool to hide my
feelings from him for such a long
time just because i don’t want to
end up hurting Milton, i just hope
Clark still loves me, because i don’t
know what my life will look like
without him. I slowly close my eyes
then slept off.
The next morning, i woke up
and couldn’t find Clark by my side, i
strectch myself a little and quickly
stood up, i opened the door when i
bumped into Clark who was just
coming in.
“i need to go now, am actually late
for a meeting, i need to go,” he
said when his phone rang and he
quickly picked it.
“hello dear, am back already, i slept
at the hotel but am coming home
today,” he said smiling.
“i love you too,” he said then
hanged up.
“bye,” he said to me then left.
I sat down on the bed so confused
and worried. Who was Clark talking
to on the phone? he seems so
happy and look more handsome,
am sure he might have enjoyed alot
in Mexico.
A drop of tears slide down from my
eyes, i quickly took my bath and
went home, glad Jigs was home
and nothing bad happen to him.
“thank you Jigs, thank you for
saving me from Milton,” i said.
i know wherever my friend David is,
he still want you to be happy, i
guess we need to leave here, this
Milton might be dangerous,” he
said while i just nodded, i guess i
will ask for help from Clark..
The next day i was able to go to
school but i wasn’t able to stop
thinking of Clark, my heart kept
beating fast-er.
I was glad to meet
Amy because she travel for a
couple of some months but now
she’s back. I told her my ordeal and
how David died which make me
cried again. Amy felt so sad and
decided to help me eliminate
Milton, this time am ready to kill
him myself and i mean it.
“guess who is here? she said while i
just replied her with a smile and
was surprise when i saw Sarah
walked in.
“Sarah,” i quickly hug-ged her “Sarah,” i quickly hug-ged her so
tight as tears drop from my tears.
“i miss you so much Sarah, you
were always right about Nicole,” i
said while she just smiled back at
me.
“Amy has told me everything and
am sorry for your lost, am back for
my two friends again,” she said
while i chuckle.
Later in the evening Sarah took us
out for dinner in one of the
expensive beautiful restuarant, she
also told me to stay in her house
until people like Milton got caught,
since he’s the only one i know as
my enemy now,
as for Nicole i still
don’t know about her whereabout,
but i guess she’s still in the prison.
We had dinner together and i felt so
happy, i can’t believe the three
friends at Stars high school now
reunite again, i said while we all
laughed. Sarah has chnaged a lot
she looks more pretty and i could
tell she’s enjoying too much. Her
phone rang and she recieved the
call.
“hey guys, my boyfriend is actually
on his way to picked me up and i
will like you to see him,” she said as
seh dropped her back in her purse
while i just smiled.
In few minutes time, i was shocked
when Clark walked in, looking so
handsome, super cute, i can’t
believe i once chose Milton over
this cute guy. Sarah stood up and
gave him a ki-ss which almost make
me faint.
“he’s Clark, well you all know him,”
she said while i fake a smile.
“you guys look super cute,” Amy
said then looked at me.
“can we? Clark asked Sarah holding
her hands, while she smiled back at
him and they walked out.
My eyes
were already filled with tears, i
quickly stood up and rushed to the
rest room, now i know what it feels
to see the one you love with
another person, this what Clark has
been pa-ssing throu-ghwhen i
foolishly chosen Milton over him
just because i don’t want to hurt
him(Milton). I looked at myself in he
mirror and then i knew i have no
one, NO ONE AT ALL. I use the
water their to wash myself, i felt so
heart broken. Sarah is my good
friend and i have always knew she
have a huge crush on Clark. Maybe
this my destiny
Clark’s POV
When i travelled to Mexico i felt When i travelled to Mexico i felt so
heart broken, i kept remembering
my last message i had with
Delphine on phone when she told
she only love Milton, that still
breaks my heart.
I now wonder why
will her Milton leave her in that
heavy rainfall yesterday. It was heavy rainfall yesterday. It was hard
for me to move on without
Delphine but i was surprise when i
meet with Sarah in the same school
their at Mexico, she has been of
great help to me, although at first i
found it difficult to love anyone but
as time went by i eventually fall for
Sarah, and i think i don’t have any
feelings for Delphine now,
i now
sees her as a friend and i hope
she’s happy with her Milton. I have
to move on, i have to be my own
hero then, because the people you
can’t live without can leave without
you. I guess this how destiny
works, i and Sarah have been so
close all these days and she
eventually became my girlfriend,
the only one my heart beats for
now, i do love her and i won’t break
her heart just because of Delphine,
after all Delphine and i were never
meant to be at first place.
“have some fruits,” Sarah walked in
and sat beside me on a swing bed
by the swimming pool side. I pulled
her closer to me then ki-ssed her.
“am not letting you go because of
anyone else, i don’t want to get
hurt again, because only you makes
me happy now,” i said then ki-ssed
her, she just smiled back at me.
“can you play me the guitar,” she
said.
“anything for my girl,” i smiled as i
picked up the guitar i kept beside
me the played it so sweet.
David was recuperating fast-er
and was now able to walk with the
support of someone by his side,
Celyn has always been there, for
him to be able to walk fast.
The stroll down to another old
room.
“where are we going to? David
asked her.
“i want to show you the man who
has been in a coma for about two
month now, i don’t really know if
this man could make it,” she said as
she opened the door and they
walked in, she helped David to sit
down while she was still standing.
“is this the man? David asked very
surprise.
