VESTA’S PLACE**
Vesta entered her room,she felt some pres-ence in there but she couldn’t see anyone
“Who are you? Show yourself” Vesta said sounding angry
Just then two women looking identical showed up,they are sitting on the be-d.
Vesta looked at them,,she immediately recognized them,they are deities
“Why are you here?”Vesta asked
“Why are you denying him of his mate” The first deity asked
“Your son,,Kingston Is mated with that human amd you know that. Why did you switch fate even when you know it’s impossible?” The second deity asked
“She is a human,,that’s why I can’t let them be together” Vesta replied
“Why are you so desperate about turning their fates around? It’s the human who is going to lost her life not your son,,he’s immortal” The first deity said
“I don’t want him to end up like his father,,he may want to lay down his life for that human. Deities plea-se support me,,,Moon is my son’s mate now,,,”
“But his heart is with that human,,you can’t separate them!” The second deity yelled
“Then I will make her let go of my son” Vesta snapped back
“Let them have their way Vesta,,his heart will be divided if you don’t leave them alone,,even if his demons recognize Moon as their mate,,his heart won’t let go of that human” First Deity said
“Like I said,,I will make that human leave my son alone” Vesta insisted
“Right now,,Moon is just like an obstruction,standing between their rope” Second Deity said
“What rope?” Vesta asked
The first deity stretched out her hand and the three appeared,Kingston,Alice and Moon
The red rope joined Kingston and Alice together but the middle was held unto by Moon
“The red rope is called fate,,you can see the human and your son have been joined together by the goddess,,,even though the human won’t last but they are mates” First deity said
“I still believe my son will not try breaking the mates bond” Vesta said stubbornly
The deities exchanged glances
“We will let Kingston see the red rope of fate” the deities said
“Whatever you do,,remember you can’t change their fate” they said at once and disappeared
Vesta fold her hands ti-ghtly,,looking angry

SOTG**
Moon sat down at the roof,staring at the sky. Even though it’s getting late alre-ady,she didn’t move. She have been here since she saw Kingston and Alice together in the morning.
‘How could he?? He doesn’t even respect the mate bond’ She thought
She remembered Alice and scoffed
“Bi*ch” She muttered
“I know right? She’s a complete bit-ch” A voice suddenly said beside her and she turned slightly to see a girl. She looked so familiar,she is definitely a student of this institute
“How did you get here?” Moon asked,,obviously there’s no way to get on this roof.
“Is that how you say hi to a witch like you?”
Moon’s eyes wi-dened
“Witch? Heard there’s no witch here,,so how come?” Moon asked
Leviana laughed
“Can we talk about the bit-ch? Stealing your mate’s attention?” Leviana asked
“I will get my mate attention back,,it’s nothing” Moon scoffed
“Oh,,I thought you would nee-d a help from a witch” Leviana replied
“You want to advice me to kill her? You think she doesn’t have any power?” Moon scoffed
“She’s not as strong as you are,,make her leave your mate alone. If you keep on like this,,you won’t even enjoy your mate and he will have to reject you” Leviana said with a wicked smile
“He wouldn’t”
“Of course he will,,,so think about it” Leviana said and disappeared

ALICE’S ROOM**
Alice and her friends are all talking and laughing when suddenly they all became still except Alice,none of them moved
Alice was confused,,she atood up from her be-d and walked to Odette
“Odette” She called but Odette didn’t move
Same thing with Sera-phina and Persephone
She became scared but when she turned,she bu-mped into a b©dy scaring the hell outta her
She fell on the floor and Vesta showed her face,,Alice g-asped
“Human,,what do you think you’re doing?!” Vesta shouted angrily and Alice swallowed, unable to talk
“My son,,,have a mate now. So what are you still doing with him?” Vesta asked
Alice couldn’t talk
“You want me to kill you?? Stay away from my son,,or I’m going to make you go on a journey of no return” Vesta threatened and disappeared
Immediately the three girls came back to life
“What are you doing on the floor?” Odette asked
Alice immediately stood up
“It’s nothing,I was laughing and ended up here remember?” She smiled and climbe-d her be-d
“Are you slee-ping alre-ady?” Sera-phina asked
“Yes,,goodnight” Alice muttered and closed her eyes but Vesta’s words keep on ringing in her head
******
NEXT DAY**
“Are you okay? I’ve been talking but you wouldn’t reply” Jupiter said as they walked together
“I’m fine” Alice nodded
Just then Linus joined them and pec-ked Jupiter’s cheek
“Hey!!! Want me to prepare your death certificate?!!” Jupiter yelled and wiped her cheek
Linus smiled
“You know she likes me right? She’s just pretending” Linus said to Alice
“Yeah right” Alice chuckled
“Shut up,,,I don’t like him” Jupiter roll her eyes
“Then I will make you like me,,what should I do?” Linus asked and Jupiter gro-an
“Can I have peace for once?!” She yelled and started walking away
Linus also followed
Alice sighs as she stared at them,,she suddenly remember Vesta and sighed.

Kingston smiled immediately he saw Alice from where he’s standing,the moment he took a step to go to her,something suddenly pu-lled him back and he looked back to see Moon but she wasn’t even close to him.
That was when he saw something like a red rope tied on his fin-ger,,his eyes trailed it to where Moon is standing,,she was holding it. He turned to Alice who wasn’t even seeing him,,the other end of the rope was tied around her fin-ger just like his.
‘What’s going on?’ He thought,,it’s obvious he’s the only one seeing It.
His eyes met with Moons and they both exchanged contacts but he found himself turning back to Alice instead and he walked to her still thinking about the invisible rope.
“Are you okay?” Kingston asked and Alice faced him
“Yeah why?”
“You are thinking about something,,,should I come into your,,,”
“Don’t you dare try to see what I am thinking about” Alice roll her eyes and Kingston smiled
“Let’s have lunch together” He said
Alice almost said yes but when she remembered Vesta,she shook her head
“I’m not really hungry” She said
“When did you ever reject food?” Kingston asked
“Today” Alice win-ked
“Then watch me while I eat,,,” He gr-abbe-d her hand but Alice resisted
“I have something to do” She said
Kingston noticed she was looking at someone and he also turned,,Moon was glaring at them.
She walked to them and pushed Kingston away from Alice
“What are you doing?” Kingston frowned
“I should befu-cking asking you this,what do you think you’re doing?!” Moon yelled
“What?”
“I am you mate you idiot,,not her. But why,,why is your attention all on her ,,” She started crying
“Why won’t you even look at me,,why? Am I that ugly? Even If you don’t like me,,,we are still mates. You’re hurting me” She cried out more
Alice shook her head and tried walking away but Kingston hold her
“Stop it Kingston,,she want your attention” Alice said and re-moved his grip from her hand before walking away.
“Alice,,,” Kingston wanted to go after her
Moon pu-lled him back and hu-gged him to herself
“Don’t you dare leave me” She said hu-gging him more ti-ghtly while Kingston stood still in total confusion.
