King Dal Pov
“Do Yun”I greeted as soon as he entered my chambers and he smiled.
“Good day my king”He bowed and I scoffed.
“Common cut off the formalities,we are childhood friends”I joked and he laughed lightly.
I don’t think he’s okay.
He looks quite dull,This is not the normal Do yun.
“Come take a seat”I later said and he sat down beside me.
“I c@m£ here for something important and crucial,I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me if you can forgive me”
“What is it?”I asked curiously and he sighed.
“I don’t think Dae Hyun and Jojo can get married anymore”
“Huh”I scoffed in shock and disbelief and he sighed.
“This has been sealed for years,are you trying to break it now”I yelled angrily and he sighed like he wasn’t affected.
“I tried my best to avert it but I can’t,I got an better offer”
“Chan right?”I jibe-d in and he turned to me in surprise.

I got to the house dejectedly later in the evening and met Jojo preparing the table.
Poor Jojo.
I sighed and wall up to her,she smiled immediately she saw me and collected my bag from the guards.
“Welcome dad”She greeted and I gave her a side hvg.
“Thanks dear”
“I prepared your dinner,you should go to your room to have your bath”
“Okay thanks”I replied and collected the bag from her and she resumed setting the table.

This is more ha-rder than I thought.
After having my bath,I return to the living room to have my dinner and she dish out my food for me.
“Jojo”I whispered and she look up at me.
“Is there a problem dad?”
“Unfortunately yes,I got a big contract today and it’s very mouth watering,I can’t ignore it even though the demand is outrageous,I have to go for it”
“What is that?”She asked and I sighed.
“The man wants you to marry his son,who just c@m£ back from the states”
“That’s really outrageous,you’re not gonna do that”
“I’m sorry,I signed the contract alre-ady”
“What!”She scream and I drop my cutleries.
“What!,How can you do that to your daughter?,Don’t you know it’s outrageous?”I scoffed and she sighed.
“I’m so sorry,I can’t refuse it,plea-se forgive me”
“Dad, how can you do this to me?,you knew how much I love Dare Hyun and it has always been my dream to become a princess”
“And who said you will later become a princess?,The King is not aging and Dae Hyun is the youngest of the prince even if he’s the riche-st,does that mean he will be crowned as the king?,you should try to think about it for once,st©p being so stupid,and you can be more powerful than a queen,st©p being so dumb”I yelled convincingly at her and a tears sl!pdown her eyes.
“You know what Dad?,I’m out of here”She cried and rush hurriedly upstairs.

“Good morning Dad”I mumbled bowing slightly as I entered the chamber with mom and he nodded.
If not for the fact mom begged me,I wouldn’t have been here this morning,only God knows what’s wrong.
“Take your seat,including your mom”He ordered and we sat beside each other and face him properly.

“He told me he secured another business contract which is very hvge and he can’t afford to lose it,so he canceled the marriage contract because the company wants his daughter to marry the CEO’s son but……”He stated sadly and I scoffed.
“Is that all?”I cut him off and he stare at me in surprise.
“I’ll like to take my leave now,mom let’s go”I mumbled and held mom hand and we both walk out of the room leaving him in shock.

Dae Hyun Pov
“Dae Hyun”Dad roared and I scoffed before turning back to him,Mom trembled and I quic-ky squee-ze her hand to calm her down.
“You should give me respect because I’m your father and I am a king”
“Really?,A king who can’t control his family?,Oh cut the cra-p Dad,you thought you can order me around the way you’re ordering your wives including mom”
“Dae Hyun”Mom covered my mouth and I swat her hands away.
The other wives,Dae Jung and Duri entered the chamber and was confused on what’s happening.
“Dae Hyun,Don’t try to disrespect me or else you will see the other side of me”He threatened and I almost laugh.
“Other side?,What are you going to do?,kill me?,hurt me or what?”
“Dae Hyun,Are you trying to disrespect Dad here?”Dae Jung yelled at me and I scoffed.
“I guess you have lose control on how to control that $h!t you called a mouth right?,I’m re-ady to insult any damn person because of my mother,did you think I’d be here watching you ride her the way you like?”
“And who said we are ri-ding your mom?”Kwan jibe-d in.
“Will you shut thefu-ck up or I’d shut your mouth up for you?,Are you dumb or something”I replied and Dae Jung charge at me in anger,I sm-irk and he tried to punch me but I was fast enough to gr-ab his n£¢k and flung him across the room like he’s a piece of paper,his mom rush to him in panic and Dad seethed angrily.
“Be expecting more of this,you miserable fools”I gr-ab mom hand and we both walk out of the room, immediately we got outside mom fred her hands and I push my hair back.
“What are you doing huh?,Did you think you’re doing the right thing?,Is this the only way you can fight for me?,What are you….”I shut her up and pe-ck her softly on her cheeks.
“I’ve lots of things to attend to mom,I’ll be back later,prepare my favorite”

“Common go inside,you should take a rest before preparing dinner”I cut her off and pe-ck her again before leaving the room.

“Sir,ap@rt from the issues we are facing in the textile industries you just solved,the income the company realized last month is worth more than five billion dollars,I think we should reduce our endorsement deals and focus more on the charity homes and buy more lands and properties so in case we run out of cash,we can sell the properties out”
“Yeah,start doing that now”I t©uçh my forehead and my phone rang,Shantel hand it over to me and I realised it’s mom,I sighed and pick the call.

“It’s not about that now,the king has been poisoned”
“What!”I yelled and my workers sprang to their feet.

“I’ll be there soon,I’m coming right away,just try to calm down your nerves okay”I as-sured her and she sniffed.

“I don’t know,all we know is that he’s poisoned”

“It has been tampered with, although we’ve imprisoned all the palace maids but that isn’t the problem”
“Then what is it?”
“There’s no antidote for the poison,and the king is dying slowly”
“There’s no antidote?”I asked shocked and she nodded.
“There will be an antidote,I’lll be back soon”I said and rush out of the palace while mom yelled my name from behind but I didn’t reply her.
