I walked into the room and the first thing my eyes caught was Celina who was sitting on the bed.
I walked towards her and I noticed my aunt standing by the door and piping at us… so I had to act according to what she wanted to see.
I pulled Celina on the bed and tried ki-ssing her but she blocked it with her hand.
I then sent my hand towards her cloth and slowly pulling it up. My aunt walked away and close the door just as I did this…
I quickly woke up from her body and arranged myself while she immediately stood up to say something.
“What’s wrong?”
“you can’t talk? ” I asked moving closer towards her and she meet the walk behind her back.
“What are you doing? ” she asked placing her hands on her upper body/che-st.
I turned and pull off the blanket from the bed then handed it to her.
“You sleep on the couch ” I said and laid on the bed covering the whole place with my legs and hands.
She stood still and just watched at me as her angry rises.
“What?”
“Don’t you want to sleep there? ” I asked and she showed me a fake smile then mumbled to herself before going over to the couch to sleep.
She arranged herself there and began sleeping soundly on the couch but I was not okay with it. Celina was never like this not an obedient girl, she will always oppose me when I say such things but she obeyed me.
I woke up from bed and went over to the couch where she was sleeping and carried her up. she opened her eyes immediately I did this.
“What are you doing? ” she asked.
“Put me down ” she said trying to swing her legs but there were inside the blanket.
I dropped her on the bed then stand to look at her one last time…
“What are you thinking about? ” she asked looking scared.
I turned against her and said ” you can have the room to yourself” then walked out to sleep in the guest room.
I’ll wait still she’s ready to tell me what really went wrong with her.
“Celina I miss the old you from two years ago, why did you have to run away from me… now that I’ve found you I’m not letting go” I said to myself before turning off the light and sleeping soundly.
Next Morning
“Good morning General” the maids greeted me as I walked pas-s them to the dinning table.
I continued after nodding at them and when I got to the dining table, there were so much food to eat, delicious ones at that but Celina was not in the dining room.
“Laura ”
“Laura” I called and she responded from a distance then rushed towards me.
“Yes general you called me” she said taking a
bow.
“Where is Celina? ” I asked in a bold and loud tune/manner.
“She’s still in bed general, she hasn’t yet come down from her room general” she said and I looked at my wrist watch.
“What time is it and she’s still in bed? ” I said more like yelling at Laura my head attender.
“Go wake her up and she must be here in five minutes time well prepared for breakfast” I said and she nodding and immediately ran up the stairs.
I walked towards the dinning chair and took a sit then didn’t eat anything but looked at my wrist watch to wait for Celina.
CELINA •••
I was having a beautiful dream, a resounding sleep, how everyone was yelling and clapping at me for being and winning my country’s miss beauty of the year award when someone suddenly started calling my name and the imagery from my dream slowly became blue leaving me with nothing to see again.
I rose up to see a young beautiful young girl asking me to wake up from bed.
“What’s wrong? ” I asked opening my eyes and stretching my body in different directions.
“My Lord, your husband asked you to be down for dinner in five minutes ” she said taking a bow.
“Your Lord? ” I mumbled to myself wandering who she referred to as her Lord.
“Mr Feli-pe Rodriguez your husband,don’t you know him again” she asked and I cut her short.
“Okay, okay, let me take a bath and I’ll be down ” I said while she nodded and walked out of the room.
I raised my hand and mixed it in-between my head my hair then gave out a yawn.
“Five minutes? ” I wandered to myself after it rang a bell she had said so.
I rose from bed, entered the bathroom and did everything as quick as possible so as to go down on time.
After dressing up and admiring myself on the mirror I walked down to join him at the dinning table.
just before I got there, the smell coming from the direction was so breath taking… I walked more closer and my eyes caught so many delicious meals on the table.
I immediately dive there at once and took a sit ready to start trying out all the delicious meals that was on the table.
Just when I picked up a spoon and wanted to start eating, someone coughed and that person was no other than Rodriguez.
“What? ” I asked raising my head to look at him on the other side.
“Put that down ” he said but I just stare at him…
“I said put it down ” he repeated and this time he wanted to stand up and walk towards me but I immediately drop it and frown.
“In this house there are rules and when you break such rules you must receive punishment for it” he said binning his mouth.
“What rules? ” I asked still frowning at him.
“You must be up from bed by seven o’clock and you’ve broken the rules ” he said and sighed.
“You never told me of this rules yesterday” I said angrily and he smi-rked.
“Now you know and you’ll have to pay for breaking the rule” he said smiling.
“Who told him I like seeing those teeths of his” I mumbled to myself and hinted out.
“What’s the punishment? ” I asked and he still smi-rked.
“Laura, bring it to her ” he said and the maid walked in with a small bow in her hand.
She dropped it in front of me and there was a liquid inside.
“What is this thing, it stinks ” I said covering my nostrils and wanting her to take it away.
“You’re going to drink that for breaking house rules ” he said and I almost spit out.
“What do you mean drink this, it stinks ” I said refusing not to even look at it again.
“If you want to eat all this delicious food on this table then you must be ready to drink it but if not then no food for you” he said and placed a finger on the table.
“Rodriguez how can you be such a devilish monster” I yelled at him with my hand still on my nostrils.
“That’s what you get for playing dump with me” he said and moved over to my sit and picked up the bow.
“Drink” he said offering it to me but I turned my face away…
“I’ll ask the maids to clear the table since you’re not drinking it” he said and this got me frighten that all this delicious food I smelled, I wasn’t going to eat any.
“I’ll drink it” I said stretching my hand forward to collect the bow from him.
“Bitter ” I said immediately it tou-ched my tough.
“Drink it all” Rodriguez said forcing it into my mouth as he held it for me to drink.
“My Lord, you have a guest ” Someone said as he walked in at us.
“Who’s it? ” Rodriguez asked.
“It’s your friends ” he said and Rodriguez nodded…
“Let them stay in the living room, I’ll join them shortly ” he said and he nodded then walked out.
“Stay here and don’t try anything stupid ” he said raising my head then walked out after making me look at his ugly face.
I stayed at the dinning room and starting eating everything I found delicious on the table while Rodriguez had gone to meet his friends.
I wander what types of people will make friends with an ugly monster like him.
